headcanon that annabeth is freakishly strong. not because she's been training as a soldier since she was seven. but because stretching the limits of your strength is a mental block first and foremost. and as a daughter of athena, goddes of the mind and strategy. all annabeth has to do is believe that she can lift something and she will lift it.
#her strength corresponds with her mental stability#meaning holding the sky is difficult because your pseudo-brother is the reason you're under it#holding the doors of death closed is hard because you literally went through hell#but lifting the couch off the grounf to sweep underneath it is easy because you refuse to scratch the tile floor#and helping the boys move the bleachers in gym class is easy because you refuse to fall victim to your coach's narrow mind#percy jackon and the olympians#pjo text post#pjo#pjo headcanon#annabeth chase#annabeth headcanon#bamf annabeth chase#we stan a legend#we stan the daughter of athena#we stan annabeth chase#and she's never told anybody because her pride will not allow her to relinquish bragging rights about her strength#she doesn't need to work out but chooses to because she likes having hella muscles

Wicked and Epic crossover but in the sense that Ody, Penelope, and Telemachus are teachers at Shiz, and Athena is the owl sitting on Telemachus's table during class.
Odysseus is a fencing coach, Penelope is an arts teacher, and Telemachus gives me philosophy and ideology teacher vibes.
lmao imagine having a married couple, specifically odypen, as your teachers.
Oof rip Glinda and Elphaba, you're both gonna be the called out students

One day, I'm going to a write the illiad as a high school dodgeball competitions.
Here the first half of my cast
Achilles – MVP dodgeball champ, most popular kid there, rich, everyone wants to be him. However he takes the game. way too seriously and could wipe everyone out in seconds but refuses to because he too busy fighting with Agamemnon and deliberately benches himself while calling his mom (who is on the school council) to pout and complain. His team keeps begging for him to come back or they will lose, but he is not budging and they will have to find out how to win without him
Patroclus – Achilles’s best friend/boyfriend, everyone loves him because he's very kind and is a great player, but is mostly there to try and keep Achilles in a good mood. But secretly he is very competitive as well and puts up a good fight in Achilles place before he is taken out by Hector. Achilles does not take this well and wipes out half of the team, breaks a water fountain, chases Hector around while throwing balls at him and drags him around by his legs until he's forced to stop by Mr Priam. Patroclus is fine, just a broken nose and they cuddle in Chiron's class after
Agamemnon - Head Coach and leader of the Archeans clique. He is kinda good leader and Menelaus older brother who keeps saying that Helen will be impressed by him if they win this but is doing this to take down the Trojan because he hates their style. He can be a lil bitch who constantly starts petty fights with Achilles and pisses him off when he deliberately benches Briseis, Achilles friend, causing Achilles to bench himself which puts their team at a risk and they almost lose. However they win and Agammenon appluads himself on victory which even the trojan know is bull
Menelaus – Agamemnon’s brother, decent player, just wants Helen back (his ex and former cheer captain). Everyone makes fun of him for Helen running off with Paris. He's very good dodgeball player and almost wins the game at some point when he takes out Paris, but coach Ares is convinced by Aprodiote to keep Paris on and yellow card Menaleus instead. After they win, he and Helen reconcile and everything's good for him
Odysseus – Clever team strategist; not the fastest, but always has a plan. He is a favourite student of guidance councilor Athena who often has to help him. He organises stealth missions with Diomedes to sabotage the Trojan dodgeball plans in their locker room and steals their best gear. Will probably have a long detention and will be given many tasks and assignments after the game for breaking in and vandiliasing their stuff. He will have to hurry if he wants to get on his usual weekly date with his badass, but beautiful girlfriend Penelope
Diomedes – This man is a wildcard. Always a badass not matter what he does. He is also Athena's favourite student who she always helps out by telling him which students to look out for and which to go for. He and Odysseus are a single hell lit candle that will burn the school down one day
Will do the rest of the archeans next, including the trojans and the gods as teachers.

Ever After High Glee AU Part 2
My adhd meds are out and I live in hell thanks to the shortage, so instead of sleeping or doing homework or working on any of my AUs in progress, I’m adding onto this mess.
Hunter: Hunter is also in the Glee Club. Despite being a cheerhexer he has no idea about Coach Baba Yaga’s plans to DESTROY THE GLEE CLUB!!!! Cause he is just a nice boy who Baba Yaga knows would attempt to sabotage their sabotage if he found out about it. His parents were already less than enthused about the cheerhexing, but now that he’s added Glee to the mix? They’re pissed, how… unmanly (by that they mean in touch with his emotions and secure in his own masculinity, because the Huntsman legacy is one built on overly macho bullshit).
Ashlynn is not in the glee club cause she has her own stuff going on. I’m not adding more stuff onto the plate of an already extremely busy girl whose clothes turn into rags when she’s late.
Was looking up who’s on the Cheerhexing team and honestly, all the named cheerhexers are too nice to participate in these schemes so I’m just throwing in the unnamed fairy Cheerhexers. All six of them swap in and out two at a time and like, no one notices. They’re just that forgettable. They exist as Faybelle’s backup and that’s it.
According to Class of Classics, the Pied Piper canonically likes classic rock, so I feel much more secure with my casting of him as the Will Shuester of this AU.
The Cheshire Cat is kind of a Holly Holiday-type recurring guest character. She shows up, sings some songs, stirs up chaos, and looks fabulous while doing it.
Uh, the Glee club definitely does a Magedonna (now you see why I needed those artist parody names) week. Coach Madame Baba Yaga is honestly kinda okay with this one because she’s a massive Magedonna fan. She used to play her music all the time when babysitting her niece, helping inspire her to become the amazing Lady Yaga.
They most certainly do a Lady Yaga week as well.
Thanks to the amazing @athena-xox the name Billygoat Joel is a thing, so these crazy kids will do some Billy Joel songs. I just have the image of Hunter singing “Uptown Girl” about Ashlynn. Someone tells Professor Pied Piper his music taste is old and only stuff dads listen to and he starts singing “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me”. Pre-Dragon Games, Darling and Apple have a moment and after Apple walks away Darling starts unconsciously humming "She's Got a Way". We cut to Apple and she's humming the same song.
Also the image of Cupid singing “Tell Her About It” to the entire cast of EAH. That’s basically the musical equivalent of the plot of True Hearts Day, right? And now I'm adding Cupid to the Glee Club.

okay so what about a bunch of drabbles about the olympians being one big dysfunctional family?
basically what the myths are but. still.
disregard a bunch of the myths, but still keep the "essence" of the gods.
more below the cut (100% NOT MYTH ACCURATE BTW LMAO)
The main olympians as a family so, zeus and hera are the parents obvi. then their kids, in order of what age I think they'd be: hephaestus (32), athena (27), ares (25), apollo and artemis (both 22), hermes (19), and dionysus (18). the ages are just pretty rough outlines, but yeah.
they're still immortal and stuff, but there's a lot more... mortal(?) aspects to it? like athena's a professor at a university (or college depending where you are), but she also helps train a bunch of greeks to be soldiers. a lot of said soldiers are in her classes, too. others are most like also taught by coach ares. hephaestus runs a forge and, on the weekends, apollo comes over to help him teach kids how to make stuff. apollo also teaches first aid and is a first aider. apollo and artemis teach archery to people of all ages, and artemis has her group of hunters who she takes out to hunt every other night. hermes is like a travel bureau and watches over a very large marketplace. dionysus runs the bar in the market place, but he's also a therapist. aphrodite does marriage counseling (zeus and hera are there more than she'd like). hephaestus is her ex-husband and she's with ares now (she's 29 btw). from time to time, she helps train the soldiers. hestia does a home mangement class where everyone is welcome, not just women. she actually encourages everyone to come. demeter often helps out, but she also has a garden centre. her daughter persephone is a florist. zeus runs greece's biggest airline. hera works in/owns a bridal gown shop—athena loves helping out there. hades works at a cemetary and thanatos works in the joint morgue. poseidon does swimming classes, that have different age groups.
think ancient greece with modern technology.
idk but if you like the idea lmk
if i made it, it would be called Domestic Olympians. maybe it would be a comic or smth... idk lol.

Are the other zeldas in the modern au too? I know Sun and Athena, and I know others like Midna and Fi, but I havent heard much on the others?
Also on companion characters, is Navi around? Or Ezlo? I can totally see Ezlo being like, a professor or something
They are!!
Lullaby is Time’s ex partner turned close friend of his and Malon’s. It was a strange situation, but they’ve been friends over 20 years and Malon and Lullaby are also very close at this point
Dusk and Legend run into each other a lot, they’ve had several classes together, and she and Midna are best friends so Midna introduced her and Twi to each other
Aurora is friends with Sun and Sky and met Hyrule through them, she’s another english lit person, and Dawn has been friends with Hyrule since high school
Fable is Legend’s cousin and they have a very siblings relationship, and she’s accidentally pushed him down the stairs before
Flora is doing engineering and she’s known Wild since high school, she was part of his little friend group (her, Wild, Mipha, and Revali. they bonded over weird sports and being unpopular)
Dot is a close family friend of Four’s, she goes to a different college in a city decently far so its rare Four sees her in person
Tetra is a grade above Wind and his absolute BEST friend (she ‘bullies’ him)
and then the most noteable other characters in the au:
Groose: Sky’s adoptive brother and close friend
Navi: A teacher Time had when he was little who really helped him as a kid and it broke his heart when he left middle school and didnt have her as a teacher anymore
Ezlo: A high school teacher of Four’s who he really loved
Rusl, Uli, Colin: Very close friends of Time, Malon, and Twi’s. Their house is decently far from the ranch but they technically ARE neighbors
Aryll: Wind’s little sister, somehow even more of a handful than Wind (icon)
Fi: A friend from high school of War and Sky’s, they both need to pay for her therapy
Midna: Twi’s… Friend. for now
Beedle: Some guy that they don’t know a whole lot about but who they realized a LOT of them just happen to know
Impa: Wild’s old skating coach who regularly texts him just to see how he is, she loved him so so much
Volga: a skater his age that War was constantly competing against (who was also rude to War’s face). He still skates, War hates his guts
Riju: a friend of Wild’s who’s another fashion major
Ravio: Legend’s very good friend who works at the coffee shop with him and Sky
there are more, but the characters i focus most on are the ones who interact with War Twi and Sky (sometimes Wild) the most because the au centers around those three alskdkdk :)

And here’s part two of the OC and family post 💜
These are Elaina and Ford’s children, Cecilia Thea and Felix Ford Pines. Elaina discovered she was pregnant with the twins about two days before Ford fell into the portal, so she never got the chance to tell him she was pregnant before he disappeared. Stan helped Elaina raise the twins, telling them about Ford and making sure they knew who their father was. They grew up celebrating his birthday every year, always making little crafts for him, and one of the most special things they did for him was make videos. Elaina and Stan would make home movies for Ford all the time so it was like he never missed them growing up. They had videos all the way back from Elaina’s pregnancy, when the twins were born, first steps, first words, everything. Every birthday the twins would record a message for Ford, telling him proudly how old they were and telling them they would see him soon.
The twins had a relationship with one another much like Stan and Ford’s relationship when they were kids. They were very close and very protective of one another. As kids, Cecilia was more the outgoing one of the two while Felix was the shy one. He often did things to please his sister even if he didn’t want to (wearing the matching cat onesies is a good example of this. he hated it, but his twin sister loved it so he did it). As he grew up, he became more outgoing, but still was reserved and preferred to stick to the quieter activities like reading, playing chess, etc.
In high school, the twins were at the top of their class and were rather popular as well. Cecilia was head of the volleyball team while Felix was a national champion chess player at the high school level. The twins both graduated Valedictorian (Felix) and Salutatorian (Cecilia). Elaina was so proud that her twins seemed to inherit Ford’s intelligence. They both went off to college not too far from home as they didn’t want to leave Elaina completely alone. Cecilia majored in Foreign Language Education and Felix dual majored in Paleontology and History. To this day, the twins still made sure to get together to celebrate Ford’s birthday every year and the two twins still made video diaries for their father to see when he returned.
Facts about Cecilia and Felix:
The twins practice magic like their mother and are rather skilled at it (Cecilia is considered a Green Witch and Felix is considered a Death and Fire Witch. Though those are their respective specialties, they are skilled in many forms of magic like their mother)
The twins are bilingual as well, learning both Italian and English when they were growing up
Cecilia’s familiar is an ember wolf named Luna or Lu-Lu and Felix’s familiar is a white dove named Saggezza or Ezzie. His name means “Wisdom” in Italian.
Cecilia’s patron is Persephone and Felix’s patron is Athena (Which just so happened to also be Ford’s patron)
Both twins worked at the bakery growing up. Cecilia continues to work there over summer break to help her mother out a bit. The rest of the year, Cecilia works as the foreign language teacher and volleyball coach at Gravity Falls High School teaching Italian and French. Felix works as a historian and paleontologist, traveling all over the country for work.
Cecilia has her masters while Felix has two PhD’s
In high school, Cecilia did volleyball and gymnastics, Felix did track and chess club
Cecilia has six fingers like her father <3
They took boxing lessons when they were younger, something Stan wanted them to learn as a form of self-defense in the event he wasn’t around to protect them. Cecilia is the better boxer of the two
In terms of personality, Cecilia takes after Elaina (and honestly Stan as well) and Felix most definitely takes after Ford. Cecilia tends to be the more hot headed one of the twins, but when Felix snaps, he snaps HARD. He’s very protective of his family, having always seen it as his responsibility to care for his mother and sister in his father’s absence.

The Game She Plays- Chapter 3
previous chapter: Chapter 2
Athena adjusted the strap of her gym bag. The move from Zaun to Piltover was years ago, but stepping into the sleek gym still felt like entering another world. Polished floors, state-of-the-art equipment, and people who seemed to glide through life with effortless confidence—it all screamed "Piltover privilege."
"Ready to crush it, coach?" Vi's teasing voice snapped Athena out of her thoughts.
She turned to see her sister leaning against the counter, her signature smirk in place. Vi was always at ease.
"Always," Athena replied, tossing her bag onto the bench.
Their shared shift as fitness instructors wasn't just a job; it was a chance to let off steam and forget about the pressures of fitting into a world so different from Zaun. Athena loved the rhythm of teaching classes, pushing others to their limits, and seeing their progress.
Today's class was a morning private session for a small group. Among the attendees were Mel Medarda and Jayce Talis—two of Piltover University's golden students—and, surprisingly, Caitlyn Kiramman.
Athena's stomach did a weird flip when Caitlyn walked in, her sharp blue eyes scanning the room. She was stunning in a way that made it hard to look away—her hair perfectly pinned back, her posture graceful yet approachable. Athena reminded herself to breathe. Caitlyn was just another client.
"Morning," Caitlyn greeted with a polite smile, setting her water bottle on the floor.
Athena nodded, trying to sound casual. "Ready to work?"
"Always," Caitlyn echoed with a raised eyebrow.
The session passed in a blur of squats, lunges, and Vi's sarcastic commentary. Caitlyn was a natural athlete, her movements precise and fluid. But what caught Athena's attention wasn't just her skill; it was the way Caitlyn glanced at her during breaks, as if trying to figure her out.
After class, Caitlyn lingered as the others left.
"You're good at this," Caitlyn said, tilting her head. "Teaching, I mean."
"Thanks," Athena replied, feeling an unexpected warmth. "You're not too bad yourself. You've done this before?"
"Not officially. Just some training" Caitlyn said, her voice softening.
Athena nodded, unsure of what to say next. She wasn't used to this kind of attention from someone like Caitlyn—a piltie with her life seemingly in perfect order.
Before she could overthink, Vi called from across the room, "Athena! Vander's waiting for us."
"Duty calls," Athena said, grabbing her bag. She hesitated before adding, "See you around, Caitlyn."
Caitlyn smiled, and for a moment, it felt like the bustling gym faded into the background.
"Yeah. See you."
As Athena and Vi walked out into the crisp afternoon air, Vi nudged her. "What's that look?"
"What look?"
"The one you get when someone's under your skin."
Athena rolled her eyes. "No one's under my skin."
"Sure," Vi said with a knowing grin.
But as they headed home to Vander's, Athena couldn't shake the image of Caitlyn's smile—or the way it made her feel like she was stepping into unfamiliar territory.
The hour was a whirlwind of studying, and assignments. Athena barely had time to think, but her mind kept circling back to Caitlyn. It wasn't like her to get caught up in someone so easily. She was the "tough girl," the one who never let her emotions show, the one who always kept things light with her friends. But there was something about Caitlyn—the way she laughed, the way she looked at her with those piercing blue eyes—that made everything else fade into the background.
Vi noticed the change, of course.
"Alright, spill it," she demanded after lunch. Athena was sitting in her room, when Vi suddenly appeared at her side with that too-knowing smirk on her face.
Athena shot her a warning look. "Spill what?"
Vi raised an eyebrow. "Don't act all innocent. I know that look. You've got a thing for Caitlyn."
"I don't have a thing for anyone," Athena muttered.
"Oh, really?" Vi teased, nudging her with her shoulder. "Because I've been watching you watch her for the last couple days. You can barely take your eyes off her when she's around."
"Can we not do this right now?" Athena groaned.
Vi was relentless, though. "You're not fooling anyone. It's pretty obvious you two have some kind of... connection. But hey, I'm not judging. Just don't hurt her from what you've got going on, okay?"
Athena didn't respond. She knew that. Caitlyn had a kind of quiet, humble strength to her that Athena found... magnetic. It was hard to put into words, but it was there, every time they spoke.
After a few seconds of silence, Vi nudged her again. "So, what are you gonna do about it?"
Athena hesitated. "Nothing. It's probably just the same thing I get with everyone, It'll pass."
"Uh-huh," Vi said, unconvinced. "But if it doesn't?"
Athena sighed. "Then I'll figure it out." "Anyway, we have to get to our evening class." Athena said to change the subject.
In class, their paths crossed more often than she liked to admit. Athena had always prided herself on staying focused. But Caitlyn was different—there was an effortless charm to her, something that disarmed Athena in a way that was both thrilling and terrifying.
"Hey, Athena!"
She turned, and there was Caitlyn again, dressed in her usual polished attire, but this time with a gym bag slung over her shoulder. "Caitlyn," Athena said, "What brings you here, do you have an evening class?"
"I just finished a real workout in the gym, instead of just running on the treadmill at home," Caitlyn said with a slight laugh.
"I can show you a few routines," Athena offered, before she could stop herself. The words were out before she could overthink them.
Caitlyn's eyes lit up. "Really? I'd love that, I've been wanting to get better."
"Okay, well, I'll warn you—I'm tough on my clients," Athena teased, her heart racing a little faster as she started leading Caitlyn toward the gym floor.
Caitlyn smiled, a playful glint in her eyes. "Maybe you'll have to make me a regular."
Athena tried not to let the comment affect her. "I can fit you in for a few more sessions if you want."
"I'll take you up on that." Caitlyn paused, her voice suddenly quieter. "Thanks, Athena. I—"
Before Caitlyn could finish, Vi came from across the hall, a smirk on her face. "Cait. We've got a party to get to, remember?"
Caitlyn blinked, as if startled by the interruption, before nodding. "Right, right. We'll have to catch up later, then. I'm sorry you can't go to the party tonight Athena. "
Vi clapped her hands together. "Come on, Caitlyn. Don't want to keep Mel and Jayce waiting. "
As Caitlyn grabbed her things and headed for the door, she turned to Athena one last time. "Next session, yeah?"
"Yeah," Athena said, her voice betraying a hint of something more than casual.
But as she caught Vi's raised eyebrow and smirk, Athena couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, she was already tangled.
later that night**
Caitlyn smoothed out her dress, a nervous energy coursing through her as she waited for Vi outside the apartment. Mel's parties were always the perfect mix of chaos and elegance—sophisticated enough to attract the upper crust of Piltover's social scene, yet wild enough to leave stories that would be whispered about for weeks.
As Vi walked up, looking effortlessly cool in a leather jacket and jeans, Caitlyn couldn't help but grin. "You ready for this?" Vi asked, her tone light.
"Ready as I'll ever be," Caitlyn replied, though her thoughts lingered on Athena. She'd been genuinely disappointed that Athena couldn't make it. She was stuck closing the gym tonight. Caitlyn had caught herself hoping for another chance to talk to her, to unravel the strange and unexpected layers she'd glimpsed earlier.
Vi noticed Caitlyn's brief pause and nudged her. "She'll be fine. Probably doesn't even care she's missing this party," Vi teased with a smirk.
Caitlyn gave a half-hearted laugh, but the truth was, she cared. A lot more than she wanted to admit.
The party was already in full swing when they arrived. Mel's apartment was a masterpiece of Piltover luxury, the kind of place that radiated wealth without being ostentatious. The music pulsed softly, and groups of people mingled, drinks in hand, laughter and conversation filling the air.
Caitlyn grabbed a drink, letting herself relax as she followed Vi through the crowd. Mel greeted them with her signature smile, her presence commanding as always. Jayce was nearby, chatting animatedly with a group of academics.
"Glad you could make it," Mel said warmly, pulling Caitlyn into a quick hug. "Have fun tonight, alright?"
Caitlyn nodded, but her gaze kept wandering to the door, as if Athena might magically appear.
As the night wore on, Caitlyn found herself loosening up. The drinks were strong, and the music was just loud enough to drown out the nagging thoughts that had been plaguing her all evening. She laughed at Vi's sarcastic commentary on the room's social dynamics and even joined in when Mel challenged her to a game of darts.
Eventually, Vi decided to head home, leaving Caitlyn with Mel and the dwindling crowd. Caitlyn, now more than a little tipsy, found herself sinking onto Mel's plush sofa, a fresh drink in hand.
"You good?" Mel asked, sitting beside her.
Caitlyn nodded, though her flushed cheeks and slightly slurred words betrayed her state. "Y'know," Caitlyn began, her voice a little louder than necessary, "Athena is... really hot."
Mel raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into an amused smile. "Oh no," she murmured. "Here we go."
Caitlyn didn't seem to notice. "Like, really hot," she continued, gesturing dramatically with her hands. "Her abs? Perfect. Her legs? Sculpted by the gods. Her face? Ugh, don't even get me started on her face."
"Caitlyn—" Mel tried to interject, but Caitlyn wasn't done.
"She's just... different, y'know?" Caitlyn said, her voice softening slightly. "She's so nice. She helps me with my workouts and... and she's really nice to me."
Mel sighed, leaning back against the couch. "That's what she wants you to think," she said flatly. "Look, Caitlyn, I like you. You're sweet. But Athena? She's not what you think she is. She sleeps around. A lot. Ask anyone in this room."
Caitlyn frowned, her intoxicated brain struggling to process Mel's words. "She's not like that," she insisted, but there was a flicker of doubt in her voice.
Mel tilted her head toward a small group of people still lingering near the bar. "Fine. Go ask them. But don't say I didn't warn you."
Fueled by liquid courage, Caitlyn stumbled over to the group. "Hey," she said, a little too loudly. "What do you guys know about Athena?"
One of the guys, tall with dark hair and an easy grin, looked up from his drink. His expression shifted into one of amused recognition. "Athena?" he repeated, his tone almost reverent. "Oh, man. She's... something else."
Caitlyn tilted her head, urging him to continue.
"She sleeps with a lot of people, you know? Like, a lot. Doesn't care who. Guys, girls... anyone with a pulse." He laughed softly, shaking his head. "I'm not judging her. I mean, who wouldn't wanna fuck her, right?" His voice was breathy, almost appreciative, as if he expected Caitlyn to share in his admiration.
Caitlyn's stomach twisted uncomfortably, but the guy wasn't finished. "There's even this rumor," he added, leaning in conspiratorially, "that she doesn't even remember half their names. Just moves on to the next. Doesn't care who she leaves in her wake."
Caitlyn felt her face flush, but this time it wasn't from the alcohol. She turned away, her thoughts a chaotic swirl of confusion and disappointment.
Back on the couch, Mel glanced up as Caitlyn returned, her expression unreadable. "So?" Mel asked, her tone casual but edged with curiosity.
Caitlyn slumped onto the couch, avoiding Mel's gaze. "I... I don't know," she muttered.
Mel sighed, placing a comforting hand on Caitlyn's shoulder. "Look, Cait. I know it's hard to hear, but Athena isn't worth it. Trust me on this."
Caitlyn didn't respond, her thoughts still tangled. Was Athena really the person everyone said she was? Or was there more to her than the rumors and whispers suggested?
She didn't have the answers, but one thing was certain—Athena had taken up residence in her mind, and Caitlyn wasn't sure how to evict her.

I'd like to add that this show is not exactly subtle. If a material object holds a sentimental value for any of the characters, the characters would say it out loud. For examples:
1)) Athena's house:

Athena was visibly upset when she realized that Jeffrey Hudson had intruded her house. She said that the house was where her children grew up, and it was supposed to be a safe place for them.
Athena was eager to rebuild her house after the fire. Bobby hesitated because it was 'Athena's' house, not 'their' house, implied that the house has a sentimental value for Athena.
2)) Eddie's St. Christopher medallion.

GIFs courtesy of Eddie Diaz Love Bots
They showed a scene where Shannon gave the medallion to Eddie, even made Shannon said the meaning of it (to protect Eddie and to bring him home safely).
Eddie thanked the kid who saved the medallion when it was fallen.
Eddie mentioned the importance of the medallion for him in a show & tell session in Chris' class.
3)) Maddie's postcards from Buck.
youtube
There's a scene where Maddie showed Buck that she kept the postcards Buck had sent her, because they were important for her.
******
The jeep given by Maddie is only showed/mentioned twice: first, when Maddie gave it to Buck, secondly, when Chim asked whether it was what made Buck still angry at Maddie.
NO ONE has said that the jeep had a sentimental value to Buck, except the fans.
The idea of Buck's jeep means something more to him, is as valid as the idea that Buck's coach means something more to him. Seriously. Both jeep theory and couch theory are fanon, and so far has no bearing in canon.
And as showed by @andavs in the above post, Buck has ridden several different cars during the years, as have other characters.
Based on the above pattern, it is more likely that the truck we saw in the Billy Boil funeral scene is Buck's truck, not Tommy's.
The Cars of 911
All of this talk of Buck’s jeep and whether or not he now has a truck got me curious about how consistent any of the vehicles are in this show. And as of 8x08, here are my results.
ATHENA They don't show her personal vehicle in season one, but from the second season onward, Athena’s driven a red GMC Acadia Denali. It was presumably destroyed in the house fire in 7x10. She hasn't been shown driving a personal vehicle in season eight so far.

(2x13, 2x18)

(4x12, 6x06)
BOBBY Chronologically, Bobby's first car is this pickup in St. Paul. It’s older and more beat up, a little boxier.

(1x05)
When he moves to LA, he drives a dark blue Ford F-150, initially with Minnesota plates.

(2x16)
In season six, he has a dark blue Chevy Silverado.

(6x09)
And then in season seven when he goes after Amir, he has a different dark blue Chevy Silverado, this time a High Country. I assume he got it back from the middle of the desert, but then their house burned down, so it was probably destroyed with Athena’s SUV. He hasn't been shown driving a personal vehicle in season eight so far.

(7x08)
BUCK Chronologically, the first car we see Buck drive is the blue Jeep Wrangler that Maddie gives him in 2012. He drives it around the country and still has it on his first day at the 118 in 2017.

(4x05)
But in the first season, which takes place in late 2017/early 2018, he has this gray/gray-green Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. This is the only season where he has this car. (It’s not Abby’s as in 1x09, she drives a silver Chevy Volt.)

(1x05, 1x10)
In season two he has a dark gray Rubicon, and seems to keep this car until it dies on the road in 6x07. It very well could’ve been different years that all look very similar; I don’t know enough about cars to spot minor differences from year to year.

(2x08, 3x16)

(4x11, 6x05)
In season seven, he has a new silver Rubicon, though it's only shown in 7x04.

(7x04)
CHIMNEY In 1x03, Chimney’s driving a blue Subaru Impreza when he gets in the rebar accident, and that’s the first and last time we see that car.

(1x03)
In 4x12 he’s driving a silver Subaru hatchback. It looks like it might be the same one Maddie was driving in season three.

(4x12)
Throughout season five, he’s driving a dark blue-gray Jeep Grand Cherokee.

(5x04)
I think he’s still driving the same Jeep in season seven when it gets stolen in 7x06. Its fate remains unknown.

(7x06)
EDDIE The first car we see of Eddie’s is an older gray Toyota Tundra from the early 2000s. It's also visible in 3x15 in El Paso.

(2x04, 2x17)
In 3x08 he buys a black GMC Sierra Denali and seems to still be driving it.

(3x08, 7x04)
HEN In seasons one and two, Hen drives a blue Toyota RAV4. Apparently only at night.

(1x07, 2x05)
After that, she's seen driving a dark gray Volvo that seems to be the same car Karen was driving in 1x10. It looked like Hen was driving it in 6x06 in flashbacks to their first date.

(1x10, 6x02)
MADDIE Chronologically, Maddie’s first car we see is the blue Jeep Wrangler. She had it in 2004 and gave it to Buck in 2012.

(4x05)
If she has a car in season two, it isn't shown, but in season three she’s driving a silver Subaru Crosstrek. It looks like it could be the same Subaru Chimney’s driving in 4x12, so they seem to have started sharing it.

(3x06, 3x09)
In conclusion, some characters are really consistent when it comes to their cars, while others are not. Bobby and Buck have changed their cars the most.
But whether it is or isn't Buck's, the truck from the cemetery in 8x05 and in the bts video looks like a Nissan Frontier.

(8x05, bts)
Disclaimer: I don't know shit about cars. Everything identified here was either done with Google Lens or through IMCDB.

Specialized Shadow Support School – Nurturing Inclusive Learning with Athena Shadow Support
In today’s diverse educational environment, many children benefit from additional support to thrive in mainstream schools. For students with special educational needs (SEN), the traditional classroom can pose challenges that may hinder their full potential. That’s where Specialized shadow support in schools becomes essential. At Athena Shadow Support, we are committed to helping children with varying learning needs succeed through personalized, in-school assistance tailored to their individual goals and abilities.
Athena Shadow Support provides specialized shadow support in schools across Singapore, ensuring that every child receives the attention, guidance, and tools they need to succeed. Our trained shadow teachers work closely with students, educators, and families to create inclusive and nurturing classroom experiences. From behaviour regulation to academic engagement and social integration, we offer one-on-one support to help children participate confidently and independently in school life.
What Is Specialized Shadow Support in Schools?
Shadow support in a school setting involves assigning a professional educator—commonly known as a shadow teacher—to work directly with a student during school hours. These educators provide individualized support that helps the student engage with class activities, follow instructions, manage behaviour, and interact with peers.
Unlike general classroom aides, specialized shadow support focuses specifically on the needs of students with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Speech and language delays
Sensory processing difficulties
Learning disabilities
Social and emotional regulation challenges
The presence of a shadow teacher helps bridge the gap between the child’s current developmental level and the demands of the academic environment. This encourages independence while fostering a sense of belonging and achievement.
Our Approach at Athena Shadow Support
At Athena, we go beyond simply placing a shadow teacher in the classroom. We take a holistic and personalized approach, providing:
🧠 Thorough Needs Assessment – We conduct detailed school observations and consultations with parents and teachers to fully understand each child’s strengths and challenges.
📚 Customized Education Plans (IEPs) – Our team works with families and educators to create Individualized Education Plans that address academic goals, behavioural strategies, and skill development.
🏫 Daily In-Class Support – Our shadow teachers assist children during lessons, transitions, group activities, and break times—ensuring consistent guidance throughout the school day.
💬 Social & Communication Coaching – We help children build essential communication and social skills to connect with their classmates confidently.
 Ongoing Feedback & Reporting – Parents receive regular updates on progress, including areas of growth and strategies that are working well.
We currently support students in top schools across Singapore, including Dulwich College, Tanglin Trust School, Nexus International School, and SJI International. Our experience across different curricula allows us to tailor our approach based on the school’s teaching style and expectations.
Why Choose Athena’s Shadow Support School Services?
Athena Shadow Support is a trusted provider of specialized services for children with additional needs. Here’s why families and schools choose us:
✅ Expertise Across Needs – Our team is trained in SEN strategies, positive behaviour support, and differentiated instruction.
✅ Collaborative Philosophy – We believe that successful inclusion involves strong partnerships between parents, educators, and support staff.
✅ Child-Centered Methods – We respect each child’s individuality, building on their strengths while addressing their challenges.
✅ Inclusive Integration – Our goal is always to help children participate meaningfully in the classroom—not to isolate them or create dependency.
Hear from Our Community
"Athena’s shadow teacher helped our daughter feel confident and included in her international school classroom. She went from barely speaking in class to leading group projects within the year. The support was life-changing." — Parent Testimonial
Take the First Step Toward Inclusive Success
If your child needs additional support to thrive in a mainstream school, specialized shadow support from Athena can make all the difference. We’re here to ensure that every child, regardless of learning challenges, has the opportunity to grow, connect, and succeed in their school environment.

Deborah Prato - Come Athena

Based on a bunch of fics I used to see about the Greek Gods from PJO having to go to a mortal highschool.
As much as I love the concept, they’re all immortal beings that have been adults for most of forever... not a single one aside from maybe Apollo and Hermes would be able to convincingly pass as teenagers.
Instead I think it would be hilarious if they had to be teachers.
Ares - Gym teacher, the sports teams have never done so well, or been so terrified.
Athena - Math, somehow she can make every word problem relate back to fighting, and the students love it.
Hepheastus - History and Shop, it’s not that the school doesn’t have enough teachers for both classes, it’s that someone tried to tell Hepheastus that and got challenged to a duel using a sword he’d made in Shop class.
Dionysus - Lunch, origonally, he was going to be the Human Growth and Development teacher but then everyone remembered that he worked best around children only when extremely intoxicated (and was prone to driving them mad when not) so it was decided that having to deal with kids for only one hour of the day was probably best.
Hades and Hestia - Home Economics, no one was surprised when Hestia wanted the position, but Demeter was furious when Hades also signed up.
Demeter - Agriculture, half of her students are convinced that she can telepathically commuincate with her plants, the other half are convinced she’s never grown a plant a day in her life.
Aphrodite - School Councillor, after Dionysus, she was going to teach Human Growth and Development, but then they all remembered what happened the last time she was left alone with a group of teenagers and decided it was probably best it didn’t happen again.
Apollo - Choir, Band, Theater, and Art - Now you might be asking yourself, ‘wouldn’t someone have tried to stop him?’ The answer is yes. Yes someone did try and stop him from running four classes, but tried is about as far as it went. In fact all four more or less got combined into one giant four hour class, and none of the other teachers can figure out how. (It’s also a wide spread rumor that occasionally, he’ll sub in for the Creative Writing teacher, and then be the school nurse for the day. But these are all rumors and no one has any proof)
Artemis - Languages, does she cheat and use her godly powers to know every language? Surprisingly no. Because of how often she’s traveling the world, and all of her hunters, she’s naturally picked up several languages.
Hermes - Statistics, while he did have to fight Athena for it, all the students agree that he’s awesome to have as a teacher, mostly because he teaches them some really cool tricks along with the lessons. And while Stats is his main class, it isn’t unusal to see him subbing in for any number of other classes as well.
Hera - Human Growth and Development, the moment Zeus tried to volunteer for the posistion, everyone unanimously voted for Hera to teach it. Both so that they didn’t have any mini Zeus’s running around, but also so that she didn’t fry any new mothers and children. It’s also because she is genuinely good at it.
Poseidon - Swim Coach and Secondary Gym, Ares was pissed that Poseidon took a sports team, and that he managed to weedle his way into a Gym teacher role, but had to let it go, because it’s water and no one is better in the water than Poseidon.
Zeus - Science, everyone else said that if he could come up with a scientific way to explain throwing lightning he could choose a different subject, so the students have been learing a lot about the weather and how to potentially harness it for their own uses like little future movie villains.

Coach (4)
Fandom: Dylan O'brien
Pairing: Coach!Dylan X F!Reader
Summary: you finally accept to go out with Dylan
Warnings: a bit of coursings, that's about it
WC: 2.3k
A/N: yayyy part 4! this is honestly the longest ive actually done a series without abandoning it, im kinda proud of myself. I got some anons about it and i couldn't keep you guys waiting any longer so, here ya go!
Ps, i have a tag list for this series and for my future Dylan related post, if anyone wants to be added lmk
Series masterlist
It was killing you, this weird tug in your stomach, you hated it. You felt as if you were 17 again, getting butterflies in the pit of your stomach when you saw the cute guy you liked. Only you were not 17 anymore, you had two young children and he wasn't just any cute guy. He was the coach of one of your children. Love just couldn't take it easy on you huh?
You sighed heavily as you got out of the car, slamming the door shut as you got out and doing so with so much force you thought the window would shatter. You weren't even supposed to come back to Roman's practice because as every other Friday, it was his and Athena's weekend with their father. As much as you knew he was clearly the most unreliable person in the world, you hoped that he'd at least make the damn effort to pick up his children from their respective after school activities. But no, of course he didn't. Because why would he? He couldn't even take 30 minutes of his day to pick up Athena from her dance classes or Roman from his practice. You had to stop what you were doing to pick up Athena from her classes and then drive to get Roman. And for what? So you would also have to drive them to Ryan's place anyway.
To say that you were absolutely fuming was a huge understatement.
"I'll be right back baby, don't go anywhere." You said to Athena, who you left in the car strapped up in her carseat and with the windows rolled down. You didn't want to take long getting Roman, the last thing you needed was Ryan blowing up your phone about taking too long picking up the kids. The fucking hypocrisy huh?
After making sure you locked up the car so Athena wouldn't get distracted by something and accidentally got out, you jogged over to the entrance of the baseball field, your eyes looking everywhere for your son, but much to your surprise the field was completely empty, not even the equipment was out. And in that moment you wanted to shoot yourself in the head. You were late, extremely late.
You cursed to yourself as you practically ran around to the bleachers, hoping Roman was there waiting for his dad— or I guess you now. You were starting to panic when you finally spotted him sitting at the very bottom of the bleachers, sitting by— oh.
"Fuck me." You groaned when you saw Roman sitting by Dylan, the one person you were hoping you wouldn't see until the following week, especially not after he straight up asked you out earlier that day.
You quickly approached the two, your face practically burning with embarrassment by leaving your child so late, you felt like you were neglectful or something even though it wasn't even your fault.
"Roman!" You called out to your son who instantly lifted his gaze from the ground and his eyes lit up a bit, finally being able to go home. He quickly grabbed his bag and got up, running your way. "Hey sweetie, I am so sorry, I thought your dad was picking you up." You said to him with a heavy sigh as you leaned down and pressed a kiss to his hair. When you looked up you saw Dylan standing in front of you, a small frown plastered on his usually bright face.
"Hey, I was starting to worry. Practice ended 30 minutes ago, and you're never late to pick him up. Everything okay?" Dylan asked with a bit of worry in his voice and arms crossed over his chest, making the provident veins in his arms pop out a bit more.
"Come on, your sister is in the car." You said to Roman, carrying his bag for him, you also said it to Dylan and made a small gesture with your head, signaling him to follow you so you could properly explain what happened without seeming like a shitty parent. He nodded, doing a little gesture with his hand to tell you and Roman to go first. "Look I'm truly sorry about this Coach Dylan. His dad was supposed to pick him up and take them for the weekend. But he uhm— something came up and he couldn't, so I had to pick up my little girl and then come pick up Roman. And I'm really sorry it won't—"
Dylan didn't let you finish, he simply shook his head dismissively and half smiled, "you don't have to apologize, I understand, those things can happen. I was just a bit worried something might've happened." He reassured, giving you a small reassuring smile as he walked you and Roman to your car, the night starting to fall and the daylight starting to fade with it.
"Thank you for understanding. And I can assure you it won't happen again." You assured him with a small nod and he returned the gesture. You then turned to Roman and you saw that same exact look you were hoping not to see, he looked disappointed. "Come on, I'm taking you to dad's." You said with a forced smile, hoping that'd get him excited. But it did just the opposite.
"I don't want to." He said simply, a blank look in his eyes and a small pout in his lips. You frowned.
"Why not?"
"Cause I don't want to stay with him, I want to go home." He said with a frown and a bit of harshness in his words. You took a deep breath, not wanting to have that conversation with him in front of Dylan.
"Roman, we'll talk about this at home okay? Come on." You said as softly as you possibly could, slightly ruffling his hair. The young boy sighed, heavily annoyed but simply nodded, getting in the backseat with Athena and slamming the door shut after him. You closed your eyes for a second and rubbed your temple with frustration.
"Again, I'm really sorry about this Dylan. I don't want you to think I'm being irresponsible with my kid, this won't happen again, that's for sure." You muttered the last part through gritted teeth, more so referring about having Ryan pick up Roman rather than being late.
"I didn't, not at all. I've been coaching kids for 5 years and I've seen all kinds of parents. I've seen a lot like you, parents that are actually involved with their kid's hobbies and take it seriously. And then there's parents like your husband, the kind of parent who can't take a second out of their day to know when their kid's practice ends. I've seen it and I get it. So you don't have to apologize, especially not to me." Dylan reassured you in the sweetest way you've ever heard someone talk to you. It was honestly a bit shocking just how understanding he was.
"Please just, ex husband. I don't even wanna be called Mrs. Carter anymore. That man is nothing of mine anymore." You blurted out without thinking and rolled your eyes, but they instantly widened when you realized you were talking shit about the father of your kids and to another man. God knows Ryan deserved it, but it didn't sit right with you saying those things. "I probably shouldn't have said that, I'm sorry, kinda TMI." You laughed awkwardly, rubbing your forehead with embarrassment. Dylan just laughed, smiling a bit and he just shrugged it off.
"Nah it's fine. Kinda sounds like you got some things to get off your chest." He paused, slightly chewing on his bottom lip and there was a bright look in his eyes, kinda like the one he had when he asked you out earlier. Before you could turn him down, he quickly shook his head and cut you off, taking a step closer to you, making you instinctively back up into the side of your car, "yes, I know you said that you shouldn't go out with me. And I respect that. I'm just saying we could get some coffee and talk, nothing romantic, it doesn't even have to be a date if you don't want to."
"Uh… Dylan I—"
"Hey hey, don't give me an answer now. Just think about it. Just know that I'm free tomorrow. You got my number, text me if you change your mind." He smirked playfully and shot you a small wink, his eyes lighting up in a way that just made it damn near impossible to say no to. "Oh! And by the way, tell Roman I said he killed it at practice today. He's really doing amazing."
Before you could actually say anything pr protest about his offer, Dylan had already turned around and was jogging back to the field, I guess go gather up his things and finally go home. Something you were dying to do, but now you wouldn't stop thinking about him, as if you weren't enough already.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You wanna text him, don't you?"
You stopped aggressively tapping at the rim of your wine glass and took your eyes from your phone screen to look at Liz.
"What?" You asked innocently, eyes wide as you dipped further into your glass, downing a good bit in one sip. You heard Liz laugh beside you and you rolled your eyes.
After finally convincing Roman to stay at his dad's, mostly because Ryan's constant texting and calling about 'when are you bringing my kids over' was driving you fucking insane. Of course Roman wasn't super thrilled about the idea, especially after Ryan stood him up with practice, but he eventually gave in after a bit of negotiation that included ice cream and movies. And since your kids would stay with their dad the rest of the weekend, you had all the time and space you needed to think, drink your thoughts away and then make some decisions. Which included whether or not you should accept Dylan's offer.
"You've been staring at your phone for like five minutes, and I can tell from here you haven't moved from his contact info." She said matter of factly, scooting closer to you on the couch and looking over your shoulder to confirm that you were in fact staring at Dylan's blank conversation, one you hadn't even started, but really wanted to.
"I really shouldn't go out with him, right? Please tell me I shouldn't." You begged, needing to hear from someone else that it was a dumb idea and that you were crazy for even considering going out with him.
"Listen sweetie, I really don't see why you can't. You said it yourself, it's not a date, he's not taking you to dinner. It's coffee, you're just going to talk, get to know each other and know if he's worth it outside of the field." She pointed out, for once being the reasonable one. You looked at her with big eyes, really wanting to think she was right. "Besides, it's not you're going to fuck him, get pregnant and marry him without actually getting to know him first. You wouldn't trip over the same rock twice."
There it was.
"Fuck you, too." You glared at her, eyes narrowed and a small scowl on your face. She just laughed and patted your knee like she just gave you the best advice ever and was proud of it. "I guess you're right though… I have to meet new people, and that's the only way I can. It wouldn't be the end of the world if it doesn't work out right?"
"Yes girl, exactly. Wine really does make you think clearer, huh?" She giggled and motioned to your phone, "come on, text him, go on before he changes his mind."
You took a deep breath, staring dead at your phone like it was going to run away or grow a hand and smack across the face. You couldn't believe just how nervous this made you. Your hands were slightly shaking and your heart raced, every fast beat thumping in your ears. To gather the confidence you needed to actually text him, you downed the rest of your wine in one big gulp, slightly grimacing at the taste but pushed on anyway. And without giving yourself a minute to change your mind, you texted Dylan.
So you're still up to go get coffee with a single mom with 99 problems and a caffeine addiction?
Typing…
Oh shit, that fast?
[Dylan]
That even a question? Who wouldn't want to get coffee with a hot mom?
You couldn't help but laugh at his reply, biting your lip slightly as you read it again, blushing a bit at his flirting. You didn't even remember the last time someone flirted with you, let alone called you hot.
Oh? So I'm your favourite mom and you also think I'm hot?
[Dylan]
Ofc I do. Any man that doesn't see that is either dumb or just blind
[Dylan]
So does 12 work for you? We could get lunch too if you want.
If it weren't for the fact that you were still somewhat in shock, you would probably be squealing and jumping around like a schoolgirl, giddy because she's going out with the boy she likes. And in a way that's exactly what it felt like. You felt like a teen with a huge crush. I mean, for over ten years you only had eyes for one man, you had only felt this way for Ryan when you first met him. And turns out he never truly felt the same. And it broke your heart. It felt like you'd never experience that again, that you'd never feel something for anyone else. And then you met Dylan, you felt things you hadn't felt for someone in years. You liked him, more than you'd like to admit. And that scared you, but at the same excited you to feel that way for someone again. Even if it was for your son's coach.
