Vilken snabla blandning denna månad som präglas av att "the Fast and the Furious" flimmrade förbi på Viaplay och jag tänkte "tja, varför inte?"...

2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) [🔁] Den första av uppföljarna på racing succén F&F, lyckades med konststycket att vara bättre än jag mindes den.

Atlantis: Milos återkomst / Atlantis Milo's Return (2003) [👎] De påvärmda resterna av tv-serien som aldrig blev av. Kändes både billig och plastig samt copypastad.

Djupet / Deep, the (1977) [_] Bygger på en bok av samma författare som skrev "Hajen", kul liten dykarfilm. Men jäkligt fånigt med karln (aka skattletarproffset) som envisas med att dyka i skjorta och chinos.

Fast & Furious (2009) [👍🔁] Filmen som fick hela francisen dra en suck av lättnad. Familjen är tillbaka.

Fast and the Furious, the (2001) [👍🔁] Originalet som är djupt rotat i street raing-scenen. Tåls att ses om.

Fast and the Furious, the: Tokyo Drift (2006) [🔁] Den av uppföljarna jag aldrig begripit varför den fick grönljus. Till Skillnad mot tvåan lyckades den här vara sämre än jag mindes den.

Modig / Brave (2012) [👍🔁] 📜 Se mitt omdöme här.

Monster from the Ocean Floor (1954) [📺] Svartvit "klassiker" av Roger Corman. Okej underhållning, kinte en av karlns sämsta alster.

Pied Piper of Hamelin, the (1957) [👍📺] Charmig liten fantasyfilm baserad på sagan med samma namn. Skojig och genomtänkt. Och man vänjer sig snabbt vid att alla talar på rim.

Tales of Robin Hood (1951) [📺] Budget version av Robin Hood, fick mig nästan att börja läsa Ivanhoe. Filmen bjuder dock inte på något nytt eller eget, utan mest sådant man sett i andra adaptioner.

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) [👍] Jane Foster är Thor. Bra rakt igenom, den här filmserien har verkligen lyft under Taika Waititis ledning.

Vilda kvinnor / Prehistoric Women (1950) [👎📺] Nä. Riktigt sunkig film som måste kvala in som en av de absolut första mockumentärerna.

Thor: Love and Thunder är avgjort värd en chans om man känner sig vågad -- annars så är Pied Piper of Hamelin värd en chans om man lyckas hitta den (på tuben).

I have no idea what happened or how my phone got "Meatloaf Rectum" out of "Milo's Return" but the worst part is, that's a pretty accurate description of this sorry-ass tire fire Disney dared to call a sequel.

DTVA/DTS TAGTEAM TWEET-ATHON MOVIE #45: ATLANTIS: MILO’S RETURN (2003) 

I’m sorry I wasn’t paying attention. Could you repeat the movie?

I don’t remember what I just watched. All I know is that it was stupid. The original Atlantis felt like it could work better as a TV show, but not like this. This feels like nothing.

If you were to ask me for one thing that happened in this movie I’d say “I think it had an ending that misunderstood the entire point of the first movie” but that’s it. I think I almost fell asleep during this.

It’s so maddeningly pointless and boring and not pretty and boring and it drags and it’s boring and it’s boring and it’s boring and its-

I don’t care about this movie. If I were to think of any compliments it would be I remember more about it than Dinosaur. Real glowing review there. I don’t wanna talk about the movie, I don’t wanna watch the movie. The whole thing leaves me tired and uninterested.

In another universe, Milo Thatch somehow goes crazy and becomes Alastor in hell, you can’t change my mind.

! I do not own any of the photos shown i got them off pinterest!

But like seriously, If Alastor wasn’t deranged he’d probably be really good friends with Milo, Considering they probably exhisted around the same time since Atlantis takes place in i think 1914 and Alastor’s from the early 20’s, they’d definitely exist in the same time. Alastor’s believe to have been born 1900, from what Google says. The movie Atlantis, also from google, takes place in 1914. So pretty close dates if you ask me.

This one is mostly for my own amusement:

Milo Thatch from Milo's Return (or as my phone called it once, "Meatloaf Rectum". No, I have no idea why)

This is a very different character than the original. He's such a whiny chicken, he probably wouldn't even attempt this. A unanimous (or almost unanimous) "Absolutely not" would be hilarious, but up to you people.

Apologies for the absolute dogshit art here, but unfortunately, that's a screencap. I'm not sure the artists here understand human bodies or....physics....at all.

A belated edit, 241st, for @little-bloodied-angel and Happy Valentine's Day to my dear pal. Had fun making our animated selves eating cake together and catching up/laughing. It was purely accidentally have Valentine hues, pinks, reds, lavenders, and yes I own a polo like shown. XD

I am familiar with the fandom and I can confirm, it's a very different character. So I'll allow it. (Also, now you have me curious)

Guys, I've figured out how to fix a continuity error in the sequel to Atlantis!

The Error: At the end of the first film, part of the cover story is that Milo Thatch died. So why is he showing up in Norway/the Southwest/Iceland?

The Solution: During their surface world adventures, Milo tells people (outside the main group) that his name is Daniel Jackson.

After my Ewan Mitchell = Milo Thatch realization a few days ago I've been dabbling and have re-casted the whole movie ... Do they all make sense? No, and I'm sure someone else has better idea, but this is just for fun sooooo Enjoy (Or don't)

(Ewan and Whitney are the perfect height for that one hugging scene near the end of the movie (If you know, you know) so they're even better casting due to that alone)
