It's like letterboxd, but for porn!
This your routine reminder that I made a site for posting about what porn you've been watching!
Check out what other people have posted already!
It has a searchable database of over eighty thousand porn scenes. All of them have thumbnails and most of them have trailers.
You can even use that search page to make your own hyper specific porn randomizers. This page (for example) will play a preview video from a different random manyvids anal scene every time you load it (go see how many reloads it takes before you get served a video of me).
If there's a scene missing then you can probably get it added just by pasting in a link. It can scrap scene metadata from 25 different sites. It even automatically checks a handful of those sites every morning for new releases.
There are rewards for posting too. You can unlock a handful of my old scenes totally for free.
If you're on desktop then you can even customize your profile page's css (I replaced mine's background with looping gifs from bible black lol) (I disabled custom css on mobile just because of how little screen real estate there is).

blurb based on this anon everyone say thank you anon <3 cw: 18+
___
On the fourth night in a row of you sleeping like shit, Eddie takes matters into his own hands.
He makes it his private quest- Operation Fair Maiden’s Slumber- to get you to sleep and stay asleep. Unbeknownst to you, he’d started earlier that afternoon, casually handing you a mug of chamomile tea along with your paperback. You both stay curled up on the trailer’s couch with your respective books for awhile, your legs in his lap, his warm palm stroking up your thigh, until the sun dipped low enough to warrant turning on all the lamps in the room.
He makes you a proper, robust dinner- pasta and garlic bread, a carb-o-load for the ages to try and lull your stomach into hibernation. When the dishes are done, he asks if he can play you a song.
You get cozy in Eddie’s bed, blanket around your shoulders, while he sits cross-legged on the floor, plucking through the strings to tune. And when you’re settled, he starts playing- first it’s an old Fleetwood Mac song that he knows is your favorite, followed by a Bob Dylan single that he’s always found kinda hokey but he likes the way you close your eyes with the feeling of it.
All the while he keeps his singing soft, the melodies gentle, glancing up every so often to confirm you’re nestling deeper into the blankets. When he thinks you might’ve drifted off, he stealthily sets his guitar aside and climbs carefully onto the bed- only to startle when your eyes pop open, seemingly wide awake.
“Those were really nice songs,” you tell him, wrapping the blanket around you both so that he can lay across your body. “Thanks for giving me my own concert. I’m so lucky.”
“You deserve it, angel,” he says into your collarbone. As your arms wrap around his frame he slips his hands under your shoulders, cuddling into the warmth of you. “You want a bedtime story, too?”
When you nod, Eddie launches into a memorized monologue of the first chapter of Alice in Wonderland. It was one of your favorite books as a kid, so he’s hoping that the kick of nostalgia will be enough to send you off to dreamland.
And at first, he thinks it’s working- the small movements in your waist and shoulders he takes as a sign of your body settling into the mattress. But when the plush of your hip rolls against his crotch, he stops mid-sentence, affronted- “Baby... You’re supposed to be sleepy, not horny!”
“I can be both,” you pout, pulling Eddie towards you so that he’s forced to hover over you, his hair creating a curtain around your faces. “You’re just so handsome and sweet and I wanna thank you for your hard work…”
Your hand trails down his chest, against his stomach, and Eddie’s quickly losing the plot to his quest as you graze against his already half-hard clothed cock.
“You’re s’posed to…” his forehead dips to crush against yours, hips rolling into your hand automatically. “Tryn’a get you… to sleep…”
“An orgasm would help.” You stretch up to press your lips against his, and he kisses you back, a little whimper in your throat swallowed up by his mouth.
Eddie doesn’t totally abandon his quest, in the end. It just gets re-titled:
Operation Give the Fair Maiden One Two Three Orgasms. For Bedtime.

thoughts on the guns in the orv trailer yoo joonghyuk is about to go pew pew
IT’S SO FUNNY TO ME UGH. yes it’s a bad choice objectively blah blah blah but it’s comedic gold. yjh on the subway in the first scenario is NOT a cool sexy swordsman he’s just a boring mass murderer. jhw pulls out her sick ass gun fully loaded with bullets and it doesn’t shoot bc eden doesn’t agree. breaking the sky sword gun saint. skill that lets you split mountains with a really really big gunshot. every time yjh wants to regress he just blows his brains out. hilarity
like yeah i’m aware people are upset but What Did You Expect. i am automatically assuming any orv adaptation will be Bad bc like. it’s supposed to be a novel. that’s the whole point. so i think just lowering your expectations and laughing at whatever happens is the best way to go about it. why be mad about guns when you can imagine kdj saying “let’s meet again, yoo joonghyuk” all tragic and serious and then yjh fucking shoots him

33 voldemort (making it extremely hard for you haha… feel free to skip if u want), lily 26 and 27
Voldemort:
33) Redeeming Qualities - he loves his mom, and even the author hates her. Merope Gaunt is relentlessly hated by Joanne, and it’s blatant ableism and classism and misogyny (hi! my direct relatives have lived in shacks and trailers on shit-tier land, Jo, you going to keep insulting people who live like that to my face? I spent a summer sleeping in a room with a hole in the wall and had to check my hair for bugs in the morning, Jo, can I interest you in an aggressive conversation about how you hate poor people?) and so anybody who stands up at all for Merope is above the actual author of these books in my mind. congrats, Tom. you have one good quality!
Lily:
26) Interactions with her Friends - One sign of how old I am is that I’m basically totally uninterested in characters like Dorcas or Marlene, and don’t have any set ideas about them. I think modern (post-ATYD) Marauders fandom has a really comprehensive set of fanon characterizations that include ideas of Lily being really ingrained in the broader student body and I don’t really see her that way - she strikes me as kind of a weirdo.
The thing that I feel a lot of Marauders fan content misses is that the four boys at the center of it are… kind of giant fucking nerds. They’re weird pranksters and brainy obsessives, James is a sports star but at Hogwarts that doesn’t mean you’re automatically popular or well-regarded (and what we see of them doesn’t indicate that they’re popular with the student body, not really), and they succeed in the Animagus spell which seems like it would take a lot of time to execute. These are not the cool kids, and Lily is also not a cool kid - her best friend is a deeply unpopular incel type who gets groomed and recruited by a terrorist organization that plays on his social outcast status to spark racial hatred.
So - I think she’s close to Mary (who is the same character as Mary Cattermole from DH) and that’s really her only female friend. She spends most of her time with Sev, and one thing I think that no one will take from me is that they created the spells and tricks and life hacks in the Half-Blood Prince potion book together, and Harry is drawing not just on Snape’s work but on his mother’s when he utilizes them. I think Lily is the best possible friend she could be to Sev and Sev kind of sucks as a friend, because he chooses his personal prejudices and his sense of being wronged and left wanting over his ability to improve for her sake. (He fascinates me, but I think there’s a lot of failure-of-execution stuff happening in the Doylist and structural parts of his character arc; I have. Loads to say about Snape.) But she really just has one friend, and that’s it, and it’s part of why it takes her so long to warm to James. Losing Sev is losing a significant part of her life.
27) Interactions with her Enemies - I think she is probably the most ideologically driven member of the Order, and her beliefs around Muggle and Muggleborn rights and total equality between wizards and Muggles are the most pure and central to her reasons for political activism of anybody there. I think she joins the fight when it becomes evident that even her best friend is susceptible to racist radicalization, and I think she’s bound and determined to show that Mudblood girls can throw a hex or a curse just as well as the purest of Purebloods on the other side of the war. She’s proud, and sharp, and determined, and courageous, and she’s also brash and belligerent. She has a lot in common with James, specifically around quick tempers and perceived injustices, and I think she’s defensive of her comrades in the Order (and really gets her first friends in the Order) and that means always standing up to fight her enemies.

Have you heard?
Black Butler is getting a season 4!!
Crunchyroll announced that a new season of Black Butler is now in the works for a release in 2024!!! 🎉🎉
Finally! it's been 84 years....💀💀
The Art style is also quite unique for sure ✨️
(I'm assuming since you like Twst that you might like yana toboso's other works too, I'm not sure if you talked about black butler here before since this is a twst blog 😅, feel free to delete it if it bothers you)

Yes, I saw the trailer ^^ It seems like the new season will be the Public School arc (or, as I lovingly dub it, the “Prototype TWST arc”), since the arc right before it on the boat (the Luxury Liner/Campania arc) was already animated as a movie.
We often talk about how we can see the DNA of Toboso’s art style and design sense from the similarities in the BB characters and the TWST characters (the main one people point out being Sebastian and Jade), but now there are BOAT LOADS of similar characters in a SCHOOL setting with PREFECTS (basically dorm leaders/housewardens) and a SHADY HEADMASTER as well 😂 The predects even return later as idols which is basically book 5 or VDC/j
I mean, just look at the P4 by themselves; I automatically get Vil, Idia, and Sebek vibes. The only one that’s kind of “eh” in terms of a direct TWST counterpart is the glasses guy, but I’ll argue Azul here (though there’s also a shimigami, Ronald Knox, with a much stronger resemblance.)

There’s tons of other characters that feature in the Public School Arc that sort of remind me of TWST characters! Maurice Cole is like Epel, Soma showing up on an elephant screams “Kalim!”, etc.

I actually stopped reading the Black Butler manga years ago midway around the Blue Cult arc (never followed the anime, personally). However, I’m actually now really excited to see how the Public School arc is depicted in animation 👀 It’s probably my interest in TWST that’s gotten me so jazzed, haha…

Last Twilight ภาพนายไม่เคยลืม Ep 1
I watched this last night and was pleasantly surprised! I trust P'Aof with narratives of queerness and with social critique, but disability to this extent is a new topic for him and his team to tackle as far as I can tell, and it's very very easy to catch me on the wrong foot with that even without going to the extent of, say, Fighting Mr Second. Yes, I know Moonlight Chicken treated Heart really well. still. WORRIED.
I mentioned that the final trailer reminded me a little of French comedy-drama Intouchables (2011), especially the interview scenes. I got those same vibes while watching the actual scenes from the show, rather than the trailer, but in a good way -- and already, this is clearly its own thing.
oh I like the blur on the advisory message
urgh what's with this flashiness, that's not great, this ep needs a seizure risk warning (flashing black/white lights right after the adivsory message ends until about 00:00:33)
this seems like a horror film
Film!!
I bet P'Aof quizzed Mark extensively for this
ffs Day, call a break
the tone of this is so different from what I expected and I think I like it
oh wait I know her face
Phawjai, huh?
sisters named Rung just do not have a good track record in these shows
he's "ba~"-ing that dude, WHAT. that does not sound like a strategy that's likely to lead to success with your probation officer, just saying
he's literally out on probation, huh, they REALLY leaned into that with the ankle bracelet and everything.
timeskip?
oh c'mon clearly-not-professor-Pichai
he's going to just fix the chair, isn't he
CALLED IT
man this show does already not pull its punches
I like that they at least tried with the five o clock shadow on Jimmy. He still looks like a model, but they clearly TRIED.
love to see Mawk among all the social worker types
wait wait wait I know glasses, why do I know glasses
they're ALL TALKING LIKE HE'S NOT HERE what the FUCK
adsfasdfasdfasdfasdfadsfasdfasdfasdfsd wow the SHADE I love it
asdfsaf RIGHT BACK AT HIM I love this
Oh god Day is an ASSHOLE and I love it
Night hates himmm and I get it
does Day not even realise he's there on that lift?!
wow lady that's unprofessional
holy shit I get that, on a meta level, this is for the exposition, but exposing someone's medical history like that?! YIKES.
oof
loaded sibling relationship there
wow he's an ASSHOLE
Annnd Night's an ass right back but uh. I kinda get it.
oooh he's in visible distance
I guess Mawk is just used to dealng with assholes, huh
oh my GOD I love this le petit prince quoting bit??? did not expect that!
Mark looks his actual age as night, love that for him
for a second there I forgot that not all doors lock automatically like the hotel doors of all those "apartments" or "dorms" we see and was like, wait, he can just walk back in? just like that?
OH
and that's the foundation: Mawk trusts Day to do things for himself
this mum does NOT look old enough to have kids Sea and Mark's age, what's her secret
I really enjoyed that! strong first episode, already not pulling any punches on the social commentary. I really enjoyed everyone's acting here-- Jimmy especially seems to have improved a lot, I look forward to seeing where this goes.
Now! to unblock the tag and see what everyone else is saying :D

TW for animals abuse (not terribly graphic, but like…it’s there)
The phone ringing breaks through the lunchtime conversation, prompting Malon to get up and answer it. Automatically, the conversation ceases—both because they want Malon to be able to hear the caller, and because they’re nothing if not curious and want to hear what the call is about.
“This is Lon Lon Horse Rescue Ranch, how may I help you?” Malon answers. “Alright. How soon do you need us there?…Oh no…yes, we’ll be there ASAP. Thank you.”
The caller hangs up and Malon puts the phone back in its receiver.
“Hyrule, Twilight, let’s go. Animal Services just found an abused gelding, they want us to come pick him up.”
Wild stands up at the same time Hyrule ans Twilight do. “Can I come?”
Malon hesitates. “Well…”
“I want to help, and I could use the experience.”
Malon nods. “Alright, then. I will warn you, what we see will not be pretty.”
“I’m prepared for that.”
“If you say so. Let’s go, we have to get the trailer hooked up.”
Half an hour later, Wild finds himself hopping out of Malon’s truck. The presence of animal services on the property makes him nervous. Then again, the whole place is giving him a bad vibe—a run down trailer home sitting on an acre, maybe two of land that’s been treated as a dumping ground for rusty car parts and other trash. A sorry-looking shed sits in the corner—and outside of it, several people are gathered around a horse.
Wild’s stomach drops into his shoes when he sees him, and seems to vanish altogether as they get closer. The gelding is lying on the ground, ears pinned against his head, eyes glassy and half-closed. His face is rubbed raw where the halter sat, and his ribs show eerily prominent through his skin. He’s dull chestnut in color, with three white socks and a full blazer down his face. His mane and tail are mangled and cut short, and flies have gathered around the many wounds on his legs.
“Unregistered gelding, unknown age. He’s extremely hostile, but low on energy so you should be able to handle him enough to get him back to the ranch.” The officer in charge informs them as they approach. “We found him in the shed, decided we’d better get him out of there. We don’t know how long he’s been here, but we don’t want him here any longer.”
Malon nods. “You got it.”
Hyrule kneels to inspect the horse, who snaps at him, but has no energy to do anymore. Hyrule takes his time, letting the horse smell his fingers? even if it takes several tries because the gelding is intend on trying to eat them) before carefully giving the chestnut a quick checkup. He stands up and steps back, giving the horse some space again.
“No broken bones, but lots of cuts on his legs—undoubtedly from trying to graze around this death trap. He’s severely emaciated, probably dehydrated, obviously, but otherwise he’s okay. If we can get him into the trailer, we’re good to go.”
There’s nods of confirmation and the hard part begins. Malon backs the trailer up closer, and then she comes back around to direct loading.
“Wild,” she adresses him sharply, and he snaps to attention. “You lead him into the trailer. Hyrule, keep the side door open so Wild can get out quickly if he needs to.”
Heart racing, Wild takes the lead rope from one of the animals services officers. The chestnut glares up at him. Already, he feels a soft spot forming in his heart for the red gelding.
He crouches, and reaches out—avoiding getting his fingers bitten off until the horse sniffs them. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out some horse treats, and the gelding eats them (and very nearly, Wild’s whole hand) eagerly. Using the treats, he coaxes the horse into standing up.
“Good boy,” he praises him softly, feeding him for treats. “How about we go home?”

If your greater friend group started a private automatic 24/7 livestream as a sort of faux tv channel, what shows would you add to the lineup?
i've actually done this before years ago back when livestream was around and there was an autopilot feature when we would load up videos and watch them on repeat while no one was streaming. i assume you mean real tv shows and not youtube so i think every simpsons episode season 1-8 would already be on there. i think i would throw in a bit of trailer park boys every now and then to spice things up. i wouldnt add any anime except for episodes of gdgd fairies to play on one random weeknight at 3 am. donkey kong country cartoon. i dont watch a lot of shows

Revolutionizing Spain’s Industries: Automation & Sustainable Energy
Spain’s industrial sector is rapidly evolving with cutting-edge technology and sustainable solutions. Two game-changing innovations—Automatic Loading Systems For Trailers And Loading Docks and Alternative Fuel Installations For Cement And Gasification Plants—are shaping a more efficient and eco-friendly future.
Streamlining Logistics with Automation- Industries are embracing automatic loading systems to optimize supply chain operations. These advanced systems enhance loading efficiency, reduce labor costs, and minimize downtime. By ensuring seamless material movement, businesses can improve productivity and safety while meeting high-demand logistics requirements.
Sustainable Energy for Cement & Gasification Plants- The shift towards alternative fuel installations is reducing Spain’s carbon footprint. Cement and gasification plants, traditionally reliant on fossil fuels, are integrating alternative energy sources such as biomass, waste-derived fuels, and hydrogen-based solutions. This transition not only helps in lowering CO₂ emissions but also enhances cost efficiency and long-term sustainability.
With automation streamlining logistics and alternative fuels driving sustainability, Spain’s industries are setting benchmarks for a cleaner, smarter future.

Feral
Bad Things Happen Bingo - "Vehicular Accident"

Naked and filthy, scent bleeding fear and pain and rage, the feral omega crouched low in the cage in the back of the SUV. The red and blue lights of emergency crews cast their glow across his face, reflecting in wide, glazed green eyes.
The police, first on the scene, had contained the omega with a catchpole and electric prod until the control officer arrived with sedation.
Castiel pulled up to the crash site soon after and following a quick initial examination, the control officer had the omega muzzled and restrained, wrapped in a heavy blanket, and bundled into the cage.
When Castiel asked if the muzzle was truly necessary, the officer shrugged. “I didn’t give him much, just enough to take the edge off. He’ll probably be alert by the time you get to the clinic, but if you want to lose a finger feel free to remove it before you get there. According to his records, he’s a biter.”
Despite the sedation, the feral omega snarled and snapped behind the mask that covered his lower face and pulled at the lined cuffs keeping his hands behind his back.
There was an ownership tattoo on his shoulder, and a scan of the tag on his ear listed said owner as one John Winchester. According to the licence pulled from his wallet by the police, John Winchester was the driver. Castiel watched as he was loaded into the back of a waiting ambulance.
The omega had keened behind the mask as the driver’s body was wheeled past. He’d thrown himself at the cage bars, falling back when the control officer jabbed at him with an electric prod.
He’d fallen back into silence when Castiel slammed the rear doors of the SUV closed, shook the control officer’s hand, and set off for his clinic. He didn’t talk to the omega during the drive, experience had taught him not to attempt conversation until they were back at the clinic and away from the crash site.
The had to learn to associate his scent and his voice with a positive environment, and the scene of the crash where his alpha had died was not the right place to begin. The two hour drive to the clinic would give them both a chance to calm down before he introduced himself.
The quick examination at the site had revealed he was healthy, intact, and well fed. Someone, probably the older male alpha who’d been driving the black car when it was struck by the semi-trailer, had cared him.
Unfortunately for Castiel, it also meant he now had to contend with a physically healthy, fully grown, adult male. With a deep breath, he pulled out a catchpole and an electric prod tuned to one of its higher settings, and put aside unfair thoughts about how much easier this would be if the omega wasn’t cared for. As sad as it was to see the underfed ones, at least they were easier to physically handle.
When he opened the cage door, the omega – predictably – launched himself at Castiel. Even bound and muzzled and weak with the lingering effects of the sedative, his teeth went for Castiel’s jugular. Before he made contact, Castiel zapped him with the prod.
The omega dropped to the gravel driveway, hissing in pain, and Castiel made short work of looping the catchpole around his neck. Before the omega got a chance to fully recover, he half led, half dragged him to emergency medical clinic. The doors opened automatically as he approached, and as they passed through he used his elbow to hit the button to lock them behind him.
It was a routine he had down pat, although most of his patients walked in on their own.
He was well known amongst both omegas and their alphas for being fair, kind, and respectful. He filled the roles of physician, midwife, counsellor, and when the occasion called for it, advocate, for the omega population in his area.
When the perfect property had come on the market after nearly a year of searching and waiting, he’d set up shop. A small house on a large parcel of land, a couple of outbuildings, and a studio cottage and workshop repurposed as a clinic, complete with a recovery ward and a heat suite.
Business was so good, thanks to his reputation, that he’d hired two nurses. Anna and Charlie came by a few days a week each to help out so he could continue volunteering with the Department of Omega Control to rehabilitate feral omegas.
It was a DoC officer who’d called him tonight from the scene of an accident involving a car and a semi-trailer. The alpha driver was dead, and the omega in the passenger’s seat was feral, biting and snapping at the police and EMTs when they tried to approach the alpha. Whether from the grief or shock of seeing his alpha die in front of him, or some other cause entirely, it was Castiel’s job to find out what was going on and potentially, hopefully, get the omega to a state where he could be put up for adoption.
Step one in that process was a more thorough examination in the clinic, before the feral moved out to the rehab rooms he’d custom-built on the other side of the property, as far from the clinic as they could possibly get so as not to disturb his omega patients. They were also sound- and scent-proofed.
Castiel wrestled the omega into the clinic. Still unsteady from the sedative, he stumbled on his hobbled legs and Castiel was able to manhandle him into one of the kennels he’d built in the back of the clinic specifically to keep ferals during their initial medical examinations.
Although Castiel disliked the word “cage”, it was an accurate way to describe the custom-made kennels.
Kitted out with clean, scent-free blankets, the kennels were tall enough for a large omega to sit up without bending their neck, and long and wide enough to allow lying down. They weren’t, however, big enough for an adult to stretch their legs out. They were purposely designed so the resident omega couldn’t stand, to both encourage nesting behaviours and prevent restless pacing.
Once he was in the kennel, Castiel threw a dark, heavy blanket over the top and left the office. The omega would stay alone in the dark while Castiel scrubbed the interior of the SUV clean of all scent and fluids. The cleaning process would give the omega time to acclimate to the kennel without him in the room to interrupt the process.
Then he’d introduce himself.
After he submitted his paperwork and finished his reheated dinner.
When he opened the door an hour after leaving, the omega stirred in the kennel with the clatter of shackles. Castiel walked across the clinic, his steps heavy and deliberate, ensuring the sound would travel through the blanket cover.
The scent of distress hung heavy in the air.
Castiel set a 15-minute timer on his watch with a quiet beep and, tamping down his own emotions so they didn’t cloud the room, he logged into his work laptop and started his report, based on what little information he had at his disposal.
The alpha, John Winchester, was dead. Although they already knew that at the scene of the accident, it had been officially confirmed at the hospital and the death certificate had been emailed through to Castiel.
Since John Winchester was the only name listed under the omega’s current ownership record, they’d have to wait for probate to find out who exactly inherited him. And then find out if his new owner wanted him.
It wasn’t uncommon in cases like these for the new owner to simply turned the omega back over to the Department of Omega Control. Especially if he’d turned feral.
Castiel sighed and glanced over at the covered cage, fingers stilling on his keyboard. Even if he managed to rehabilitate the omega, the chances he’d find a new home were slim to none. With minimal likelihood of rehoming, he’d probably be euthanised.
It was a shame, but the DoC didn’t have the facilities or the funding to house omegas turned feral.
The first thing he had to do was figure out if the omega was truly feral, or simply reacting to the grief of losing his alpha. The first was almost certainly a lost cause, but the second gave the creature in the kennel a fighting chance.
As if sensing which direction his thoughts were travelling, there was another, louder racket from the corner of the room. The rattle of shackles, and a thump as the omega threw himself at the kennel door.
Castiel rolled his eyes, re-set his timer for another 15 minutes, and logged onto the DoC’s database to dig up what he knew about John Winchester’s omega.
It took a further three hours, Castiel resetting his alarm every time he heard a noise from the kennel, before the omega was quiet for a full 15 minutes.
The level of distress scent in the air hadn’t changed, either for better or worse over the past hours, but it was peacefully quiet in the corner of the room.
At least, he thought pragmatically, it had given him time to finish his report and read what information existed in the DoC’s databases. He’d managed to pull a name, Dean, and a brief history based on medical check-up and annual registration inspections.
Frustratingly, it simultaneously provided an overload of information and left him very little to go on. The omega – Dean – had a history with the DoC. He’d been sent to an omega home when he’d been caught shoplifting as a teenager. The police at the time were concerned about scarring and bruising they’d noticed on his body indicating potential domestic abuse, but they hadn’t been able to prove anything before his alpha had swept in taken him away.
He was also suspected in a dozen different frauds and scams, and although nothing had stuck since the teenage shoplifting charge, he was picked up a few years later following a fight in a bar. The police report at the time said he was hustling pool and the DoC had interviewed John Winchester and issued a warning that they’d place an order of protection on Dean if it happened again.
Since the bar fight, there were no further incidences involving the police or the DoC. Every medical check-up and annual registration inspection had been carried out on the due date – not a day late or early – and he’d been cleared each time. No more strange bruises, no fresh injuries.
The early reports mentioned a younger brother, although there’d been no word of him in the last decade or so. Not since he’d reached the age where most children presented. Castiel wondered if he was the benefactor to John Winchester’s estate.
As the silent alarm on his wrist buzzed, drawing him back out of his thoughts, Castiel pushed his chair back and stood to stretch his back.
Three hours was a new record. Normally they go quiet pretty quickly, settling down into the blankets and, if he was lucky, starting the nesting process. It made his job simpler if they had, it was easier to evaluate a nesting omega over one that had fallen silent through fear and exhaustion.
Unfortunately, he suspected this Dean would be in the second category.
He stepped up to the kennel, his hand on the blanket to pull it back. But something had been nagging at him, and now his instincts were screaming alarm bells.
His hand stilled on the blanket.
The room was filled with the scent of distressed omega and it’s true the scent hadn’t changed… but now he stopped to consider the level of distress. As far as he was aware, it hadn’t changed at all over the intervening hours. He’d expect some fluctuation, some change – however minute – as the omega reacted to his surroundings.
There was a third possibility he hadn’t stopped to consider. His hackles rose, and he stepped back and to the side as he whipped the blanket away from the kennel. The blanket caught the door, and swung it gently open.
The muzzle rolled out, hitting his foot.
Inside the kennel, a small pheromone infuser nestled innocuously amongst torn and shredded blankets, green light blinking steadily.
Castiel crouched, peering into the kennel, and his gaze lifted to the roof. He stared, stupefied.
Both sets of shackles hung from tattered cloth, strips torn from the nesting blankets, twisted into rope. A third hung loose. He glanced down at the muzzle, recalling the thud that he’d presumed was the omega throwing himself at the bars.
He blinked when one of the shackles rattled, and he followed a twisting cord of cloth to the back of the kennel, where it fed through a bar at the top, trailed down to the ground, and disappeared out and under the blanket.
He stood abruptly and now he knew it was there, he could see the length of cord plain as day where it was tied to the base of one of the vertical blinds.
“Oh.”
The window, closed when he left to pick up the omega, was now cracked open. Barely an inch, but it was enough to pick up the breeze from outside. Enough to carry the momentum down, through the blanket-turned-rope, to rattle the chains like a makeshift wind chime.
Combined with the pheromone infuser, it was enough to make Castiel think the omega was still in the kennel.
He’d been played.
And the omega had a three-hour head start.

i wrote a yuri short story about my job to keep me from going insane, i hope you enjoy
"Motherfucker!" Far from an uncommon thing to hear from her trailer, but today had been particularly infuriating. The 45 pound box of furniture that had landed on her foot certainly did not help the situation. She glared down at the loading belt, which remained as motionless as ever. She hated this job. She hated even more that she was good at it. She wondered every day why she hadn't quit yet. She hated the building, the packages, but most of all, she hated this door.
There was something strange about this door. Everyone knew it. No matter how many times they moved her to another destination, she always ended up back here. Sometimes it was because the belt broke down, only to mysteriously start working perfectly again as soon as they sent her over to clear it out. Others, it was because it almost buried whoever they'd put there. The worst case had been when a lawnmower had been sent down the main belt by mistake and dropped square on the leg of the worker in the trailer. After that, they stopped trying, and just left her to take care of it.
Some of the old heads joked it had a thing for her. She hated those jokes, too, partly because she wasn't sure how much of it was a joke anymore. She got the feeling it was teasing her just as much as her coworkers were. It had a distinct habit of waiting until she'd almost cleared a particularly heavy, just to send a dozen or so more packages down the line that toppled everything still on the belt to the floor. The automatic retracting bumper would stubbornly refuse to work when she was stuck against a wall, but would move at the slightest touch if she was reaching for something. More than once, it had tipped a package up to pin her to a wall in way that she couldn't help but feel was distinctly flirty.
She shook her head, doing her best to shrug off the frustration and get on with her day. It was getting close to the end of the sort, and she didn't have the energy to spare on cussing out a piece of machinery today. She rolled the belt back a few feet to give herself room to lift the offending parcel, and stepped on to the load stand. She felt it as she reached the top step and shifted the box in her hands. Her boot slipped off the smooth plastic on the edge stand, and the weight of the package come down on her chest as she fell backward. All she could do was wait for the crack of her skull against the floor, or the end of belt… But it never came. Instead, she felt the sharp jab of a dozen or so different packages on her back as she landed on top of the bags that she had left on the belt. The wind was still knocked out of her from the impact, but she was alive. She looked around, trying to get her bearings, and for a split second, she saw her. A young woman, wild-eyed with fear, but distinctly relieved to see her safe, standing next to the controls. She blinked, and was alone again. Then the belt jumped, dumping her unceremoniously on the trailer floor.
She hauled herself to her feet, just as her manager knocked on the side of the trailer. "We're down for the day, clear up here and you're good to go." She stood in shock for a moment, staring at the belt. For the briefest moment, she could swear she saw the girl again, like an afterimage from staring at the worklights, but it was still just her. She patted the cold metal of the loading belt, thankful for it's presence for the first time in 3 years. She could swear there was more to the shudder she felt than just the reverberation of the frame. All right, she thought to herself, maybe we can put up with it a little longer.

Is the Range Rover 2.0 Engine Suitable for Towing?

Towing is a critical performance measure for many SUV buyers, especially those considering a Range Rover. The 2.0-litre Range Rover engine, known for balancing power with efficiency, often raises questions about its towing capability. While many assume that a smaller engine might lack strength, modern engineering has transformed what 2.0 engines can achieve. Whether you're towing a trailer, boat, or caravan, understanding what this engine can handle is vital for safe and reliable usage. Additionally, with reconditioned engines becoming more popular as a cost-effective replacement option, it's essential to know if they retain the same towing power. This article explores the complete towing performance of the Range Rover 2.0 engine and considers whether reconditioned engines are suitable substitutes for towing requirements.
Power and Torque Ratings of the Range Rover 2.0 Engine
The core attributes of any engine’s towing capability lie in its horsepower and torque ratings. The Range Rover 2.0-litre engine typically produces around 246 to 296 horsepower and approximately 365 Nm to 400 Nm of torque, depending on the variant. These figures are quite impressive for a 2.0 engine, thanks to turbocharging and intelligent engine management systems. Torque is particularly important for towing, as it reflects the engine’s ability to pull heavy loads from a standstill and maintain stability while in motion. The torque band in the Range Rover engine is wide, offering consistent performance even at lower RPMs—a necessary characteristic for towing on inclines or rough terrain. This robust torque delivery ensures the 2.0 engine performs above expectations, especially when compared to similarly sized engines in competitor vehicles.
Towing Capacity: Official Ratings and Real-World Scenarios
According to Land Rover's specifications, the standard towing capacity of the Range Rover with the 2.0 engine can reach up to 2,500 kg (5,511 lbs), which is suitable for small to mid-sized trailers, boats, and even some light caravans. These ratings are supported by advanced towing assistance technologies, such as Trailer Stability Assist and Advanced Tow Assist, which aid in maneuverability and safety. Real-world users have reported towing trailers with two horses or 6-meter-long boats without significant issues. However, staying within 80% of the maximum towing limit is recommended for frequent towing to ensure drivetrain longevity. If you’re planning to tow heavier loads regularly, considering higher-capacity models may be advisable. Still, for everyday and seasonal towing needs, the 2.0 Range Rover engine is more than capable.
Driving Experience While Towing with the Range Rover Engine
When it comes to the actual driving feel, the Range Rover 2.0 engines delivers a surprisingly smooth towing experience. The vehicle’s advanced suspension and weight distribution systems play a major role in stabilizing the load. The turbocharged powertrain ensures that the SUV doesn’t feel underpowered, even on steep grades. Hill Descent Control and Terrain Response systems further assist with towing in off-road or slippery conditions. Whether you're towing on highways or navigating through rural terrains, the engine maintains responsiveness and control. Furthermore, the 8-speed automatic gearbox works harmoniously with the power output, minimizing gear hunting during incline or acceleration. Many drivers are pleasantly surprised by how effortless towing feels with the 2.0 engine, which performs like a much larger powerplant thanks to its refined engineering.
Impact of Towing on Engine Longevity and Maintenance
While the Range Rover 2.0 engine is capable of towing, heavy and frequent towing can put additional stress on engine components, transmission, brakes, and suspension. Regular towing under load increases the operating temperature, which may affect engine oil viscosity and coolant performance. Therefore, adhering to a strict maintenance schedule is crucial. This includes more frequent oil changes, transmission fluid checks, and brake inspections. If you're using a reconditioned engine, it's essential to ensure it has undergone proper testing and component replacement—particularly the head gasket, turbocharger, and cooling system. Reconditioned engines that meet OEM standards can tow just as reliably as new ones, provided they’re maintained properly. Investing in quality parts and routine inspections will preserve both towing performance and engine life.
Benefits and Limitations of Using Reconditioned Engines for Towing
Reconditioned engines have grown in popularity due to their cost-effectiveness and environmental benefits. These engines are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt with new or re-machined parts to restore them to near-original condition. A reconditioned Range Rover engine can offer nearly identical towing performance to a factory-fresh unit if built correctly. However, the key lies in quality assurance. Not all reconditioned engines are created equal—choosing a reputable supplier that provides warranty and testing data is critical. While some might argue that reconditioned engines aren’t suitable for heavy towing, this is largely a myth. If the reconditioning process involves thorough component replacement and performance testing, the engine should be fully capable of towing within factory-rated limits. Always consult your mechanic and confirm towing suitability post-installation.
Advanced Technologies Supporting Towing Performance
What enhances the towing performance of the Range Rover 2.0 engine isn’t just raw power—it’s the suite of intelligent technologies built into the vehicle. The Adaptive Dynamics system continually monitors vehicle movements up to 500 times per second, optimizing suspension for towing stability. All-Wheel Drive (AWD) distributes torque to the appropriate wheels to maintain traction. Trailer Stability Assist detects trailer sway and applies braking to individual wheels, helping the driver regain control. Furthermore, the Advanced Tow Assist uses cameras and steering inputs to make reversing with a trailer almost effortless. These innovations ensure that towing with a smaller engine doesn't compromise safety or confidence. Even when paired with a reconditioned engine, these features function seamlessly, as most of them are integrated with the vehicle's chassis and electronic systems, not just the engine.
Comparing the 2.0 Engine with Larger Range Rover Powertrains for Towing
While the 2.0 engine is certainly capable, how does it compare to the 3.0-litre or 5.0-litre variants in the Range Rover lineup? Larger engines naturally offer greater towing capacities—up to 3,500 kg in some cases—and more torque, which provides extra margin for heavier hauls or frequent usage. If you're towing something heavy every weekend or hauling across mountainous terrains, a larger engine might be more appropriate. However, the trade-off is reduced fuel economy and higher emissions. For drivers who only tow occasionally and value fuel efficiency, the 2.0 engine is an ideal middle ground. In terms of cost, a reconditioned 2.0 Range Rover engine also presents a more affordable alternative, offering decent towing ability without the price premium of larger engines. Read the full article

Energy-Efficient Heating Options for Large Industrial Spaces in 2025
Among the most reliable options for energy-efficient heating in 2025 are indirect-fired heaters. These systems are ideal for indoor environments where open flame or exhaust fumes cannot be tolerated. With sealed combustion chambers and remote thermostat compatibility, indirect-fired heaters significantly reduce heat loss and maximize fuel usage. They’re often used in food processing plants, jobsite trailers, and other enclosed industrial environments. Cantherm’s indirect-fired heaters for industrial spaces exemplify the best in this class, providing clean air and consistent warmth with low emissions and CSA-certified safety. As more facilities opt for controlled and clean heat, these systems remain a top choice for safe industrial heating.
Radiant Tube Heaters Improve Efficiency with Targeted Heat
Facilities that prioritize focused, localized heat benefit from the energy-saving design of radiant tube heaters. Instead of heating air much of which can escape in tall or drafty buildings radiant systems warm surfaces and people directly. This makes them ideal for settings like loading docks, workshops, and garages where maintaining constant ambient air temperature isn’t practical. By delivering warmth exactly where it’s needed, radiant heaters reduce energy consumption and operational costs. While they don’t replace primary heating systems in larger buildings, they are a powerful supplementary option in targeted heating zones.
High-Efficiency Unit Heaters Now Offer Smart Controls and Better Fuel Management
Today’s most energy efficient warehouse heaters feature modulating burners, electronically commutated (EC) motors, and compatibility with building management systems. These technologies allow unit heaters to automatically adjust output based on real-time temperature demands, ensuring that energy isn’t wasted through unnecessary cycles. In facilities with high ceilings and varied layouts, modern unit heaters help maintain consistent temperatures without overheating unoccupied areas. Building automation adds an extra layer of control, letting managers monitor fuel use, schedule run times, and optimize performance with ease.
Hybrid Systems Combine Heating and Ventilation for Air Quality and Efficiency
More industrial buildings are investing in hybrid systems that combine heat delivery with advanced ventilation technology. These setups use integrated HRVs or makeup air systems to maintain healthy indoor air quality while efficiently distributing heat. Especially in facilities with high occupancy, chemicals, or airborne contaminants, maintaining fresh air is just as important as temperature control. By combining heating and ventilation into a single strategy, businesses can reduce the need for multiple systems while gaining better control over their indoor environment. Cantherm’s climate control systems support these hybrid solutions, offering both comfort and compliance in one efficient package.
Portable Heating Units Provide Versatility for Temporary and Zoned Needs
Industrial heating needs are not always permanent. Temporary structures, renovations, or remote locations often require flexible solutions that can be deployed quickly and moved as necessary. Portable industrial heaters meet this need, especially those that are CSA-approved and built for rugged use.
