I was thinking about Quentin gifting his class ring to a lover and ended up finding out there’s a lot of rich history regarding MIT’s class ring. I feel like Quentin would eat this up like get really invested in the history and value of his class ring, at the very least respect it a ton, so imagine how important it would be for him to gift it to reader as a promise ring or just as a symbol of his dedication to you/ your relationship. He’d probably have some poetic speech prepared that either gets too ranty or that he fumbles and curses himself over.

I would take such good care of that ring, put it in a safe place to keep. Whether you wear it or not, it would still be nice to just have it in your general possession!
