OK, last post of the day and maybe year... 🤷🏾‍♂️

Tumblr Lives are fun to just observe and communicate, but in all honesty I DO NOT like to be the center of attention. I'm actually VERY SHY, if I don't appear to be, I'm likely acting or just so happen to at the moment feel comfortable. So the odds of me starting Lives are very slim to none, and likelyhood of me joining a live are VERY RARE. In fact it only happened once and it wasn't so bad but still. Not my thing...

This is NOT a dating profile for me, but here's a quick run down.

I'm 41, born and raised in HAITI (sak pase?), lived a few places (FL, MD, CO) but currently I call AZ home. The mortgage says so along with this sun tan. Damn it's hot, but I'll take heat over snow any day. Been there done that.

My wife and I have been together 16 years and Poly under 2 yrs. Again, this is NOT a dating post, but what I have quickly found out is there's nothing like having a community of people you can talk to who understands exactly what you're feeling. So, if you're in the community as well, HELLO.

Lastly, we have 4 very different in personality children that we love and that pretty much sums up my life. Just a family dad exploring this journey called life through a very open minded lens.

Things I love outside of family: Food, concerts, traveling (don't do much of it however), movies, binging tv shows, video games, dad jokes, comics, space, music, dates, vulnerable conversations and...

Stepmom. It's a label I didn't really think I'd ever have but here I am, killing it. I made them Christmas stockings and photo albums from our first family vacation. Two days ago, I spent an hour working baby oil through my stepson's long hair that had become so matted he told me just to cut it off. Then I spent 45 minutes cutting it to a length and style he wanted. Tuesday when I go to town I'm buying hair dye to I can turn it blue. I love that he trusts me so much and that we do so much together. I try not to think about how this is him learning what it's like to have a mom, because that breaks my heart. So I keep teaching him how to cook, sign him up for boxing lessons, and taking him to school with me so he finds *something* he wants to do with himself that will make him happy. I'm sure 4 1/2 years ago when I started dating J that no one expected us to last, much less become this happily blended family. It's so satisfying to defy expectations. I just had to tell someone. I didn't think I could do this at so many points along the way. Now, I am sure we're all happy together and I love it.
