Got a new cloud brush that I wanted to test out! Then it became a whole writing spree abt 3's dreams WJEJK. Just A Squid will continue soon.

Maybe its bc I was sitting in a conference room earlier today. But I basically asked them about their dreams while there... why they keep doing what theyre doing.

In my minds eye I saw them flying a kite.

“(I want to protect the world. Keep it safe.

…Let it stay safe so the children can continue to do what Im doing now.)”

…but what about you?

“Four wants to become an engineer, and Laika wants to try out the music scene. Me?

My time for that has long gone.”

A soft chuckle. With a hint of yearning, quickly hidden with a gentle smile.

“(Dont feel sad. Ive found purpose in what I do. Im doing it so everyone else can follow their dreams.

Its also a job.

Its okay that I dont have to love it all the time.)"

…if you had the choice to live a different life, would you?

#i have. a lot. of feelings on it #my hot take is that .... it wasnt TERRIBLE #like it wasnt the worst show ive ever seen in my entire life #but i WOULD say it was SUUUUUPER boring. like just such a snoozefest #especially for the first half of the show. it feels so unstructured #theyll be juggling three plots at a time in an episode. but those plots will never intersect or cross paths. so they feel so disjointed #its really hard to follow is what im saying #the voice acting is the worst part by FAR. oh my god the voice acting is so bad #dont even get me started on old magic vs new magic #i have a lot of feelings on this show and im honest to god THIS close about writibg my thoughts down and making a video essay about it #it has good parts! a lot of the character designs are pretty cute and i genuinely liked some of them (parsely my beloved)#but overall hgs was one of the strangest shows ive ever seen. its so so so odd #i have no idea how a show this unfocused managed to complete production of 12 whole episodes. and never once did anyone ask #'wait did we ever define what a 'guardian' actually is?'
