SYNOPSIS: a compilation of short stories about the stages of pregnancy with oc gojo girlfriend and satoru. 8 weeks: the first pre-natal appointment

it has been two weeks since you and satoru decided that you were going to keep the baby. this week was your first pre-natal appointment to "meet" baby gojo. you couldn't tell who was more nervous, you or satoru.

during your appointment, satoru sat in the exam room as the nurse drew your blood to perform tests and to confirm the pregnancy. the nurse also performed a pap smear, which freaked satoru out after he saw what a speculum looked like. he said it looked like a 'torture chamber tool' and you wholeheartedly agreed with him.

you exchanged soft smiles with satoru multiple times throughout your appointment. satoru was engrossed with the entire process. his curiousness was adorable in your eyes as he asked your nurse questions about all the procedures and tests she was performing. about an hour later after receiving the results of your blood tests, your doctor entered the room.

“well, first things first, congratulations on your pregnancy (y/n)! your blood test came back positive with hcg.” your doctor began, “now let’s talk about some upcoming lifestyle changes you'll have to make.”

“wait, when do we get to see the baby?” satoru interrupted. you glared at him, dark green eyes telling him ‘shut up, satoru’.

“we’ll perform the ultrasound after this, satoru.” your doctor chimed. “(y/n), i want you to start taking a pre-natal. stop eating raw fish, deli meats, and eat thoroughly cooked meats for now.”

you blinked twice. that meant no sushi for you. your heart sank a little. satoru noticed the disappointment shift in your mood. he felt a little guilty.

"so that's why you had me cook your steak well-done..." satoru whispered to himself. you scoffed at his sudden realization from two weeks ago. (read ‘accidents’ here)

“do you or satoru have any pre-existing medical conditions in either families?”

“no. but he might be pre-diabetic by the time he’s 40.” you snorted.

satoru chuckled and reported back, “there’s nothing on my side of the family to note.”

“that’s great to hear. just be aware of gestational diabetes, (y/n). i know you love your chocolate ice cream so watch your intake.” your doctor typed some notes in your patient profile, “your due date is looking close to october 14th. any other questions?”

“can the baby come earlier?” satoru quickly asked.

your doctor smiled at the both of you, “i wouldn’t necessary call it early, but babies are considered full term at 37 weeks. it would be good for the baby to be born around or after that time.”

“uhm, do you think i’ll be able to give birth vaginally?” you asked next. your sister-in-law had to have c-sections, so that worried you. her recovery was a journey for her and honestly, it scared you. but you were willing to do whatever it takes to make sure baby gojo arrived safely.

“as long as there aren’t any complications, of course. we can plan on that. we'll just have to monitor how your pregnancy is going.” your doctor picked up on yours and satoru’s quiet and awkward social queues, "and yes, you can still have sex while you're pregnant.

"oh, thank god." satoru sighed in relief as you smacked him with the back of your hand. he was so embarrassing.

"please, just ignore him." you looked at your doctor, cheeks cherry red.

she laughed and asked the most important question of the day, “are you guys ready to meet your baby?”

you nodded your head and giggled, “yes. i think satoru’s more excited than i am. he won't shut up about it.”

“i’ve been waiting two weeks for this moment.” satoru said with a sheepish smile, his hand scratching the back of his fresh undercut. his blue eyes peeking through from his sunglasses.

“okay, let’s get started then.” your doctor announced while snapping on her sterile gloves. “we’ll be performing a transabdominal ultrasound today, nothing painful.”

she squeezed a handful of gel to apply to your belly. you jumped in your seat.

“are you okay?” satoru asked, concerned at your sudden movement.

you reassured him, “yeah, the gel is just cold.”

your doctor laughed in amusement and started to rub the wand around your abdomen. you heard a fast thumping noise.

“is that the heartbeat?” you wondered, looking at the black and white screen. satoru smiled from ear-to-ear as he cupped his cheek in his right hand, his left hand squeezing yours. hearing his baby’s heartbeat might take the cake for one of his favorite sounds in the world, next to your laugh.

your doctor reported back, “yup. a healthy 138 bpm. i’m gonna take some pictures now…”

you saw a tiny circle in the middle of the monitor as your doctor clicked away on her computer mouse.

“is that the baby?” satoru asked, squinting at the monitor.

“yes. you see the little image that looks like a bean?” she clicked again, “it’s about half an inch… that’s your baby.”

“it’s so cute. how tiny. a baby bean…” you gushed. you turned to look at satoru. he was itching his eyes.

“satoru gojo, are you crying?” you asked in disbelief.

he quickly defended himself, avoiding all eye contact with you. “no! something just got in my eye.”

he was such a liar. his infinity would never allow anything to touch his precious six eyes.

your doctor laughed at the sweet moment between the two of you. you watched the love of your life stare at the black and white screen in amazement. your heart felt like it was going to burst watching him. you wanted to hold him tightly and never let go.

12 weeks: surprise! we’re pregnant!

it was so hard for you and satoru to keep your pregnancy a secret for the past 6 weeks. the only two people who knew you were pregnant were shoko and megumi.

your doctor had advised you to wait until the end of your first trimester to announce your pregnancy because of the risk of miscarriage. once you made it past the first trimester, you thought about how you were going to tell everyone. of course, you and satoru wanted it to be a surprise. an imaginary lightbulb lit above your head.

“babe, i have an idea.” you said excitedly, grabbing satoru’s arm as he was looking through your office drawers for something sweet to snack on.

“hmmm. what is it, sweetheart?” he asked as he unwrapped a piece of chocolate. you always kept a stash of satoru's favorite chocolates in your desk for him because he loved to hide in your office and avoid his sensei duties.

“you know how we usually take a group picture with the faculty, students, and sister school every year? let's tell principal yaga to schedule it early this year.”

“oh, i like where this is going.” satoru laughed. he read your mind. you high-fived him. he gave you a quick peck on the cheek. couples’ telepathy was really a thing.

“and why do we have to be here?” maki complained as she folded her arms. she wanted to train, not take a silly picture.

“come on, maki! it’s tradition to get a picture of all the students and faculty. it’s just that we’re taking the picture earlier than usual this year.” panda said as he patted her back.

“even okkotsu came back from his training to be in the picture. my sister flew in just to be in it too.” megumi said as he watched yuta interact with the students from kyoto. tsumiki was attached to your hip. megumi already knew the real reason why the picture was scheduled so early in the school year and why tsumiki was asked to be in the picture.

“alright! everyone looks great.” yuji cheered as he walked to his assigned spot for the group picture.

principal yaga gathered everyone, “please make your way to the field and get into your assigned spots. satoru will be pressing the button for the camera since he can teleport to his spot quickly.”

you nervously watched as all the students and jujutsu high faculty made their way to their spots, getting ready for the picture.

“okay everyone!” satoru shouted as he prepared himself to teleport next to you and megumi, “i’m pressing the timer!”

satoru appeared by your side as the 10 second timer ticked. satoru sneakily pressed record instead taking of a picture. “everyone say ‘(y/n)-sensei’s pregnant’!”

everyone stopped to look at you and satoru in confusion.

“what?”

“what did he say?”

“huh?!”

“(y/n)-sensei… is pregnant?!”

“wait what?”

“holy shit, (y/n)-sensei is pregnant!”

after a few seconds of questioning, everyone realized what had just happened. you had just announced your pregnancy.

in that moment, you were tackled by tsumiki, megumi, yuji, nobara, and yuta as they cheered around you in a group hug. ijichi, akari, principal yaga, nanami, ino, mei, utahime and shoko were all congratulating satoru. they took turns speaking with the both of you, giving you well wishes on a safe and healthy pregnancy.

“congrats, (y/n)-sensei.” maki said with a soft smile, embarrassed she complained about being here. she wouldn’t have wanted to miss this.

panda added, “yes, congratulations! we’re excited to see you and satoru become parents.”

“salmon, salmon!” toge congratulated you in his own words.

“thanks everyone. if you guys aren’t busy, we’re going to have a celebratory dinner tonight at splendid sushi. satoru’s treat.” you winked.

“hey! i heard that!” satoru shouted at you from across the field as he grinned. both you and satoru were thrilled to see everyone’s excitement on the news of baby gojo.

“are you nervous to tell my brother you knocked up his little sister?” you teased satoru. you kissed his cheek as he brushed the loose strands of black hair behind your ear.

“nah, i’m sure he wants nieces and nephews for his kids. plus, it was an accident.” he joked as he drummed his fingers on the restaurant table. you and satoru people-watched through the restaurant window, waiting for touya and his wife. (a/n: yeah, touya is married with 2 kids now. his wife’s name is hana. a non-sorcerer. maybe i'll write a wedding fic.)

you smiled as you saw your brother walk into the restaurant, holding the door open for hana. touya’s black hair and golden-yellow eyes beamed when he saw you satoru.

“satoru! how have you been, bro?!” touya greeted his self-proclaimed brother, pulling him in for a bro hug.

“i can’t believe he hugged satoru first.” you looked at hana in disbelief as she giggled, hugging you instead.

“they really are bestfriends now.” hana realized as she sat across from you.

satoru sat back down in his seat next to you, touya sitting across from him. “glad you guys could have lunch with us. it’s been awhile.”

“we have a gift for you guys! a souvenir from our last trip.” you lied to your brother and sister-in-law. you pushed a card and white box towards them.

“open it. it’s special, made especially for you.” satoru urged, touya and hana taking the card to open first.

“what do you get a brother who already has everything?” touya read out loud. hana curiously reading along with him. satoru placed his hand on your thigh. the both of you were grinning from ear-to-ear watching the two open the box. they pulled out a beige baby onesie.

touya read the text on the onesie, “how about the title uncle and auntie…?”

after putting 2+2 together, touya hid his face with his hands, both him and hana were so happy for you and satoru. your eyes started to water watching them. a tearful laugh came out of you.

“congratulations, you two. my baby sis is having a baby...” touya said as he got up to embrace you.

you hugged him tighter, “thanks, touya…” you softly said. the warmth of your brother's love and support making you extremely emotional. these pregnancy hormones were out. of. control.

18 weeks: an important question

"aren't you curious to what the gender is?" shoko asked you and satoru. you asked shoko to join you two for lunch today because you had an important question to ask the amber-eyed doctor in regards to your unborn child.

you took a bite of your chicken katsu before answering, "of course we are. but we decided not to find out because we want it to be a surprise."

“what do you want it to be? a boy or girl?”

“it doesn’t matter. as long as baby gojo is healthy.” satoru stereotypically said as he stretched his arm to rest over your shoulder. he secretly wanted a girl.

you added, “we raised megumi and tsumiki. we already experienced the best of both worlds. so i’m not picky.”

“i guess i’m just being selfish because i want to know the gender.” shoko laughed as she took a sip of her mimosa.

“oh! shoko, we have a present for you.” you said as you put down your chopsticks. you turned to satoru and he grabbed another white box with a card attached do it, similar to the one you gave touya and hana.

“it better be the gender of your baby.” she laughed as she took the present from satoru.

“it’s something even better.” satoru said with his signature shit-eating grin.

shoko opened the card, reading it out loud, “i need an extra pair of hands to help me learn and grow… i know that yours will be the best because mommy and daddy told me so…?” she looked at the card, confused.

you asked her clearly while trying not to laugh, “shoko, will you be baby gojo’s godmother?”

shoko stared at both you and satoru after she realized what you had just asked of her. she started to chuckle as she got out of her seat to hug you. “of course, i will. hopefully your baby won’t grow up to be a little shit like satoru.” she said as she punched the white-haired sorcerer in the arm, satoru completely letting her bypass his infinity to do so.

“there’s another gift in there.” satoru added, pointing at the giant glass.

shoko picked up the pint glass and read the etching, “you drink too much. you smoke too much. and you cheated on your medical exam. we can’t think of anyone more suitable to be baby gojo’s godmother.”

shoko laughed, “okay, this might have been better than finding out the gender of your baby.”

26 weeks: baby gojo’s first (external) kick

megumi came home this weekend to spend time with you, satoru, and tsumiki. normally, he would be spending his free time exploring japan with nobara and yuji, but since you were pregnant and tsumiki was back for her semester break from her study abroad program, he wanted to spend his free time with his family.

you were in the kitchen with tsumiki making dinner while satoru and megumi sat around the living room with his demon dogs, shiro and kuro. catoru was lounging in their cat scratch post and your spirit birds were out on the patio enjoying the weather. you didn’t realize how zoo-like your home was until now... and that wasn't even including all of megumi's shikigami either.

while chopping vegetables, tsumiki updated you on her high school adventures abroad. ever since she started at e.f. academy, she has been non-stop on-the-go with extracurricular activities. she told you about her latest projects, how the weather was in california, about all the friends she made, and even the boy she had a small crush on. on the couch, megumi spoke with satoru about his shikigami and how he’s been able to tame a majority of them now. this was the first time in awhile those two haven’t bickered in your presence, and it was a sight to behold.

you rested your hands on your belly as you leaned your back against the kitchen counter, listening to your sweet teenager talk about how cute her crush was. you reminisced about your time in high school, how you thought satoru was a complete asshole when you first met him, and how his good looks and horrible personality made up for it. if your 18 year old self could see you now, she wouldn’t believe the sight. you felt a little tap against your hands. “huh?” you said out loud, realizing what you just felt on your hands.

“(y/n)? are you okay?” tsumiki asked as she put down the chopping knife. satoru and megumi turned around from the couch, all the attention was on you.

“i think baby gojo just kicked my hand.” you announced. only you were able to feel baby gojo kick internally for the past couple weeks, but now, you thought that satoru and the kids would be able to actually feel the kicks from the outside too.

“hurry, come over here!” you said frantically, hoping baby gojo would kick again. satoru dramatically teleported beside you as megumi hopped over the couch ledge to race over to the kitchen, kuro and shiro following him.

you took all three of their hands and placed it on your belly where you thought baby gojo was. the demon dogs sniffed around you, their tails wagging happily. you pursed your lips, waiting for another kick. you felt kuro and shiro licking your hands.

and there it was. another gentle kick from baby gojo.

“i felt it!” tsumiki cheered as she jumped around the kitchen. her bright smile lighting up the room.

satoru hugged you from behind. you both smiled while watching tsumiki and megumi. megumi looked at his hand, and then back at your stomach.

“did you feel it, megumi?” you asked him with a smile.

“yeah, i did.” he said softly. “that was pretty cool.”

“what about you, daddy?” you grinned as you asked satoru.

megumi gagged at satoru’s new title, “gross. i’m leaving.”

you and satoru watched as your moody teenager made his way back to the couch, tsumiki’s attention back on chopping vegetables. satoru’s arms were still wrapped around you, his face nuzzled in the crook of your neck. baby gojo kicked once more.

“i think baby gojo is saying ‘let go of us so mommy can finish cooking’.” you giggled as you turned around to face the white haired sorcerer. you caressed his cheek with your palm. he snuck two kisses on your neck.

“fine… but i expect some alone time later.” he winked at you before kissing the palm of your hand.

you laughed, “sorry, babe, the kids are home this weekend, plus you get me all to yourself next week when we go to mexico for our baby moon.”

30 weeks: a first time parents' class

"babe, get ready. i signed us up for a class."

"what kind of class? it better not be another ‘how to have sex while pregnant’ class." you rolled your eyes at the ridiculous class that satoru signed you up for at the beginning of your pregnancy. you sighed, your belly weighing you down on your very comfortable white couch that you would probably need satoru's help getting out of.

he grinned at you as he grabbed your purse and your shoes. "a first time parents class."

your doctor recommended that you and satoru waited until your third trimester to take a 'first time parent' class. the class would teach new parents about the different kinds of births, pain management strategies, what to do if and when your water breaks, how to time contractions, postpartum care, caring for the baby, and baby first aid.

“do we have to go?” you asked, “i’m tired.” feigning exhaustion as you put the back of your hand over your eyes and forehead.

“of course we have to go!” satoru exclaimed as he sat down next to you. he was always so excited whenever it came to anything related to baby gojo. he slipped on your white sneakers for you, swiftly tying your shoe laces bunny ear style as you sat up on your elbows. you caught yourself smiling at him. he was so doting. you could definitely get used to this.

satoru studied you. you weren't wearing any makeup today, but you had the radiant "pregnancy glow" that everyone talked about. you wore a beige dress under a white crop t-shirt that hugged your belly tightly. “you look beautiful, so no need to change or do your makeup.”

“you just don’t want to be late.” you laughed. this was the first time that satoru gojo was on time for anything.

satoru teleported you both to the hospital in tokyo that you go to for your all your doctor appointments. apparently the hospital was hosting the class he signed up for. there were many pregnant women with their significant others, friends, mothers, and mother-in-laws sitting around the small auditorium.

as you entered the room, you heard gasps and whispers about satoru.

“wow! what a good looking guy!”

“he’s a total hottie!”

“that guy is gonna be a dilf for sure!”

“do you see the cutie with the white hair and blue eyes?!”

“where should we sit?” satoru asked as he held your hand. you looped your free arm around his bicep covetously, staking claim to your man as if your very pregnant belly didn't do so already.

“don’t pretend like you don’t hear all the women in this room talking about you.” you hissed at him as you sat down in a seat closer to the front of the auditorium. because this happened everywhere you went with satoru, normally it wouldn't bug you, but for some reason it did today.

“somebody’s a green eyed monster today.” he sang with a smug smile. it was his favorite analogy to use when you were jealous because your green eyes were so fitting. he sat down next to you, draping his left arm around your shoulder, his right elbow perched on the arm rest. after over a decade of being with you, he was unphased by comments from other women. he ate it all up in high school, but satoru gojo became a changed man once he met you.

“am not.” you said under your breath. you stayed quiet for a moment. “babe, i just think it’s funny how—”

satoru's left ear was saved as your 'i think it's funny how' rant was interrupted by the presenter, “good afternoon! and welcome to the first time parents class!”

even though you were jealous and didn’t like how all the other women in the auditorium were drooling over satoru, you couldn’t stay mad. throughout the years, satoru’s beautiful blue eyes have never strayed and he never made you feel unwanted, even when you argued or when you were being difficult and stubborn. he was never bothered by your jealously. you were the only person he chased after since the day he met you at jujutsu high.

throughout the class, satoru took notes on his phone and asked questions during the q&a. it was hard to stay mad at a man as dedicated and involved as satoru gojo. you decided to just ignore the women in the class, however, that didn’t mean that you wouldn’t cling to satoru when the class ends.

“so, what’d you think about the class?” satoru asked as he placed your go-to order of ice cream in front of you. he sat across from you as you glared at his sweet, handsome, smug face.

“it was fine. we learned a lot of information, don’t you think?” you deferred as you scooped a spoonful of ice cream into your mouth.

“yeah, and i learned that you still get jealous til’ this day.” satoru poked fun at you. “remember the first time i took you shopping in shibuya? you were soooo jealous of all the girls talking about me and you weren’t even my girlfriend at the time.” he laughed at the memory. you quipped back, “satoru, everyone knows that you’re the one who’s obsessed with me.”

“true,” he agreed while taking a bite of your ice cream, “but it’s nice to see that side of you every once in awhile. what’s my baby gonna do when she’s not my number one anymore?” he mocked in a playful tone, shooting a bright toothy smile at you.

your emerald green eyes pierced his sapphire blue eyes. “what do you mean by that?”

“baby gojo is gonna be my number one.” satoru said nonchalantly, licking caramel off your spoon.

you took your ice cream away from him. holding the cup closer to you instead of putting it in the middle of the table to share.

satoru chastised you, “that’s not nice, sweetheart.”

“you’re insufferable, babe.” you rolled your eyes at him. “first, you let women drool all over you in front of me, then you tell me that i’m not your number one anymore. what’s next? you don’t love me either?”

“there you go with the theatrics.” satoru sighed, folding his arms. he wouldn't expect anything less from his life partner.

“i learned from the best teacher, i think his name was satoru gojo.” you winked at him.

"it's a good thing i love you." satoru said as he leaned over the table to kiss you on the lips. he tasted just like caramel.

32 weeks: nesting

"this fucking crib is going to be the death of me." satoru muttered under his breath as he struggled putting together the 'smart' crib that he bought. as soon as satoru found out you were pregnant, he spent a whole month researching cribs to decide which one he was going to buy for baby gojo. he decided on the most expensive one, thinking that it would be the best. rich people logic. this crib was called a 'snoo'.

"you didn't have to get such a high tech crib, babe." you said as you sat on the bed folding warm, freshly washed baby clothes and baby bedding for the snoo. you admired how cute and small the onesies were. because you and satoru didn't know the gender of your baby, you bought a lot of neutral colored clothing like beiges, tans, browns, and whites.

"my baby is going to have the best everything." satoru boasted. of course, baby gojo was going to be spoiled. they had you and satoru gojo as their parents.

during the past couple of weeks, you and satoru had bought a handful of important things that new parents would need for a newborn baby such as a crib, stroller, car seat, changing table dresser, and a comfortable lounging chair for your bedroom to put next to baby gojo's crib for the late night feeds.

satoru insisted that everything would be 'nuna' branded. the employee at his favorite department store convinced him after they mentioned that nuna was the "lamborghini of baby strollers and car seats." the matching stroller and car seat system was well over $1,000, you couldn't argue with satoru about how much he was spending because it would be hypocritical of you and your spending habits. so you let him get what he wanted.

after hours of setting up the snoo, putting together the baby stroller, installing the car seat, and building the dresser, satoru sighed, "what a long day." he crawled under the covers to meet you in bed, the back of his hand covering his face in exhaustion.

“it’s a good thing you could just use blue to move the lounge chair from the front door to the bedroom. you probably would've broke your back.” you teased him, knowing satoru gojo doesn’t do manual labor.

“the one easy part about today.” he complained.

while satoru took on his fatherly projects, you were able to deep clean the apartment, put baby clothes and diapers into the newly built dresser, add the clean bedding to the snoo, and re-organize all the drawers in the apartment. you were in the nesting stage of your pregnancy.

you turned to face him, your pregnancy pillow creating a divide between you and the exhausted sorcerer. he flattened your pregnancy pillow with his arm as you took his hand to lace your fingers with.

“you could’ve hired someone to build the snoo and the dresser, satoru.” you said to him, knowing that he normally would’ve.

“yeah, i know, but this is for my baby. i want to make sure everything is perfect.”

your heart melted at the fact that satoru was giving it his all to be involved. deep down, he wanted to be a good father and you could see that. you were proud of him.

"congrats, daddy. you just spent the day nesting with me." you smiled. you knew satoru secretly adored his new title.

the white haired sorcerer laughed, “what the hell is nesting? are we birds?”

“nesting is when couples get their home ready for the baby, satoru.”

“oh yeah? spending hours organizing drawers is nesting? because there’s nothing baby gojo will hate more than the junk drawer we have in the kitchen.” satoru teased.

you kissed the back of your teeth in annoyance, “you have been saying for years that you’d clean out the junk drawer. i found crayons in there from when megumi was in elementary school. he's a high schooler now. it only took me getting knocked up for it to finally be clean.”

you turned your body away from satoru. he moved your pregnancy pillow so he could cling to you (and so that he could be the big spoon).

“i’m just kidding, babe.” he whispered in your ear, kissing the back of your shoulder blade with his soft lips.

“uh huh. go to sleep, satoru.” you replied back to him, attempting to shut your eyes.

“so feisty…” satoru mumbled, still peppering soft kisses along your shoulder blade.

37 weeks: full term

"well... i can give birth at any time now." you said as you read your 'what to expect' app.

satoru placed his free hand on your stomach as he joined you on the white fluffy couch in your living room. you moved satoru's hand to where baby gojo was, using his hand to press firmly into your stomach.

he quickly pulled his hand away from you, afraid that he hurt you and baby gojo, "doesn't that hurt your stomach when you press that hard?" he asked.

"babe, no. give me your hand back. you'll be able to feel baby gojo's feet." you said, reaching for his hand that he reluctantly gave back to you. he leaned over to see what the hard feeling in your stomach was.

"that's baby gojo's feet?" he asked, amazed.

satoru frowned, he knew you were uncomfortable now more than ever. "i'm sorry, babe."

you squinted at him, "what are you apologizing for?"

"for getting you pregnant."

you couldn’t tell if he was joking or not, so you nuzzled your head on his chest. he pulled you closer to him, "don't apologize for that. apologize if i'm not able to get an epidural or something." you snickered as you looked up at him, "ready to read week 37?"

satoru nodded and kissed the top of your head as you laid against him.

"baby gojo is as big as a canary melon. estimating 19 inches, and 6 pounds. at 37 weeks, you're 9 months pregnant with the end in sight." you read out loud.

satoru took the phone from you to read his part, "at a glance, if baby gojo was born this week, they'd still be early term. baby gojo is practicing for their grand entrance by inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid, blinking, and turning from side to side. baby gojo can grab onto things now. baby gojo is likely to be sucking their thumb a lot these days in preparation for feeding sessions."

"it says babies grow about a pound a week. the average fetus weighs about 6 pounds. and that boys are likely to be heavier than girls." you read, "since it's a little crowded in your uterus now, baby gojo may not be kicking as much. instead, they're probably stretching, rolling and wiggling." you laughed because baby gojo was still kicking strong, sometimes it was painful, stopping you in your tracks in the middle of the day.

satoru blue-eyes widened as he read the next paragraph, "here's an interesting fact. at birth, baby gojo's head, which is still growing, will be about the same circumference as their chest."

"i pray to god that baby gojo doesn't have your big head or my vagina is toast." you joked.

satoru glared at you, shaking his head while chuckling. he went back to read through some of the pregnancy symptoms. he noticed that you experienced a majority of the symptoms on the list: the pelvic pain, leg cramps, pregnancy brain, and insomnia.

because you were of small stature, you started experiencing more pressure on your pelvis as the weeks went by. sometimes satoru would hold up your belly for you with his infinity whenever you were close by, and you were thankful for such a helpful cursed technique.

before bed, satoru would feed you bananas and massage your legs to help with the leg cramps. with your breasts and stomach as big as they've ever been, you finally got your stretch marks. for the majority of your pregnancy you were stretch mark-free, they didn't appear until the third trimester. satoru liked to call them your 'tiger stripes' when he would help you apply stretch mark creams and oils to your body. him helping you apply those creams and oils was a form of intimacy you didn't know you needed during this time. satoru always knew how to make you feel confident again.

your pregnancy brain caused you to be a little forgetful, so the acrylic whiteboard in the kitchen was your bestfriend. you left little reminders on the board for yourself, satoru, and megumi throughout your pregnancy.

lastly, it was hard for you to sleep now that you were in the home stretch of your pregnancy. every sleeping position was uncomfortable, and you had to wake up multiple times a night to use the bathroom. you never got a consistent amount of sleep.

even though being pregnant was uncomfortable, you experienced some of the best memories with satoru this year: your trip to mexico gifted from touya, your surprise pregnancy announcement, asking shoko to be baby gojo’s godmother, and all the special intimate moments with satoru. your unborn baby was already so loved by everyone. you couldn't have asked for a better accidental pregnancy.

you and satoru laid on the couch together all afternoon, enjoying each other's presence in this chaotic life for jujutsu sorcerers. catoru purred and slept next to you two on the chaise, your spirit birds perched on their stands as they watched over the apartment. you dozed in and out of sleep throughout the day as sleep was rare for you lately.

SPOILERS!!! REFERENCES AND EASTER EGGS IN F&C ep. 8: JERRY

The last of four posts for today.

This episode has a very dark setting. This is the universe where The Lich wished for the extinction of all life. There is nothing here. This establishing shot features the Squirrel's apple cart, from a few episodes ago, but he is long dead and it is long abandoned.

We are introduced to a new cosmic entity, Orbo, who is Scarab's boss but is not to be mistaken for Prismo's boss, whose identity remains a mystery.

Simon name drops a whole bunch of magical items from the original Adventure Time series; the Armour of Zeldron from Blood Under the Skin, the Wand of Dispersement from Sons of Mars, the Porcelain Lamb from Beyond This Earthly Realm, and the magic beans from The Pods.

This episode suggests that the nature of Simon and Betty's relationship was initially quite unhealthy. He was one of her lecturers, and she had an infatuation with him from first sight.

This illustration features the ancient wizards who sealed Coconteppi beneath Wizard City in the Distant Lands episode of the same name.

Simon's expedition to find the Enchiridion was first mentioned in the newspaper clipping in I Remember You, and was mentioned again in Temple of Mars.

BMO apparently survived The Lich's wish because he isn't technically alive. I wonder where Neptr and the other MOs are. Cannibalised for batteries, perhaps. Also, that BRB note is very sad and is identical to the one Finn wrote in Blenanas.

There are various familiar items in the thawed out remains of the Ice Kingdom; ninja paraphernalia from The Chamber of Frozen Blades, Ice King's diary from The Empress Eyes, and of course the tape collection from Holly Jolly Secrets.

Here's a deep cut: That machine in the background to the right of Simon is the machine that held the lightning power that Finn went to steal in What is Life, so that he could power up Neptr. The Demonic Wishing Eye is also in this shot.

For a single frame, Ice King and Gunter can be seen reduced to skeletons. Presumably this was the exact moment that the Lich's wish took effect. Everyone died instantly, in less than a frame.

When I watched this episode for the first time I was confused about where Fionna got the working crown. But you can just about see it inside the drum in this shot, where Ice King mentioned he had put it in his tape.

This is the exact moment the photograph was taken for the newspaper clipping seen in I Remember You.

We first heard the story about how Simon met Betty after they tried to check out the same library book in Broke His Crown. It's cool to see it playing out for real.

Simon throws a pebble at the window and accidentally hits Babette in the face, exactly like Finn and Jake did to Kim Kil Whan in the episode Ocarina.

This is the second time Simon caused Betty to miss this research trip to Australia. She says in Temple of Mars that she never got the opportunity to go, and resolves that her life might not have been so messed up if she'd followed her own dreams instead of following Simon's.

The song in this scene, the motif of which has been heard throughout the series, is by Half Shy, who also wrote "Monster" for Obsidian.

BMO is buried with a paper flower because there are no real ones left alive. His death seemed pointlessly cruel.

THE LICH! He is in his half-disguised Billy form, confirming that this is his wish-altered reality. Like in his other appearances, the first line he speaks is a single word command. This time, the command is "Cease." But with nothing left to do he has become depressed, and he doesn't bother killing our protagonists.

And finally, we are left on this cliffhanger. Fionna and Cake have returned to their world. Scarab has convinced the boss that Simon must be destroyed. And GOLBetty is here to claim them both while the Lich watches on.

This episode's dream features a pair of Lich skulls either side an effigy of GOLB.

When Lyanna walked into chamber informing her that her husband wanted to see her, she felt joy and horror at the same time. She was pleased that he desired her so much that he wished to spend another night with her.

However, she didn't know how to explain to him how sore she was, she was sure that no matter how gentle he might be, he would cause her pain and discomfort. She reasoned, however, that he might show her understanding in these delicate, feminine matters.

She entered his rooms shaken and frightened, fearful of his reaction and froze in disbelief; what she saw in front of her eyes made her voice hitch up in her throat, although she wanted to scream with all her might.

Her sister, Floris, was lying on the stone floor, sobbing loudly, all red, and her husband pressed her to the ground with his foot on her chest.

She couldn't believe that this was really happening.

She couldn't get any sound out, shocked and shuddered when she heard her husband's mocking voice.

"Your sister came to suck my cock. What should I do with her? I don't think this is what she expected when she knelt before me."

She felt as if someone had poured a bucket of ice-cold water over her head, even she didn't fully understand the meaning of his words, but she knew more or less what they meant.

Her own sister had come to her husband's chamber to seduce him.

She felt burning tears under her eyelids, which involuntarily began to run down her face and pressed her lips together, holding back any sound that might come from her mouth.

She heard Floris sobbing even louder at his words, almost screaming, but she could no longer find any compassion for her. Her husband was clearly frustrated by the sounds coming out of her chest, because he pressed her harder to the floor with his leg.

"Shut the fuck up." He hissed, looking down at her with a stony face.

For some reason, she felt satisfaction at the sight.

He could agree and take what she wanted to give him.

She knew that what her sister was going through was a brutal humiliation, that she should stop it, but some part of her was enjoying it.

As she began to beg her forgiveness, the awareness and pity she had felt came back to her, despite the immense pain and her burning, betrayed heart.

When she saw him take out his dagger she decided that this was all going too far.

"Let her go." She said weakly.

She looked at him and saw in his cold gaze that he would be ready to hurt her sister if she said a word.

She thought that he was dark, frightening man, but for some reason that thought did not repulse her.

Her violent husband chose her once again over her sisters.

He finally gave up on his idea, deciding to respect her decision.

"Get out." He said lowly, walking over to the table and taking a cup from it, drinking almost its entire contents.

She saw her sister turn on her stomach, trying to rise from her knees, trembling all over, sobbing loudly under her breath, her hair and nightdress in complete disarray.

She thought it was a hopeless, sad sight and that she even felt sorry for her, that it would be hard for her to go on, living with such humiliation.

Floris left the chamber quickly, terrified, and she wanted to follow her out, to speak to her, to ask her how she could have done something like this to her, but his voice stopped her.

"Where are you going?" He asked coolly, and she stopped, feeling a shiver pass through her at his tone of voice.

She looked at him and saw that he was extending his hand with his empty cup towards her. She pressed her lips together, wiping her nose, all runny from tears.

She took the jug in her trembling hands and prayed not to spill anything, not wanting to upset him.

She was afraid that drunk and angry, he would still want to take it out on her.

To take her, despite her pain and crying.

She refilled his cup halfway, not wanting to encourage him to drink more. However, this gesture only made him more upset.

"More. Do you begrudge your husband wine?" He hissed, and she pressed her lips together humbly, immediately reaching back for the jug.

"Forgive me, my prince." She mumbled, refilling his cup to the full, stepping back and waiting anxiously for his further orders. He stared at her intensely, his eye dark and misty, dangerous, she felt her heart in her throat with fear.

"You may leave." He said finally, turning his back to her, sitting back in his chair in front of the fire, taking a loud sip of wine.

She felt a huge sense of relief at his words and swallowed loudly, however, she hesitated.

She didn't want to be alone.

She didn't want to cry in solitude in her bed.

She wanted to stay with him.

She saw him glance over his shoulder at her, hearing that she hadn't moved an inch.

"May I sleep in your bed tonight, my husband?" She asked quietly, humbly, pleadingly, as tenderly as she could.

She felt a warmth in her belly when she called him her husband; she thought that it was so wonderfully pleasant to say those words, to be someone's wife, even if not entirely of her own free will.

She saw that he had turned his head away, taking another sip from his cup. He was silent for a long moment and she began to fear that she had frustrated him again with an unnecessary question.

"Yes." He hummed, and she let the air out of her mouth quietly.

"Thank you, husband." She whispered and moved slowly towards his bed, hiding under his sheets.

Only then did she allow herself to analyse what had happened.

She knew that her sisters had wanted this marriage, that they had competed in front of each other to be the chosen one, she understood their frustration, but she was their sister.

They preferred to humiliate and destroy her just to extract something for themselves, to give each other at least a moment of satisfaction.

She felt tears run down her cheeks onto the pillow under her head at the thought, but made no sound of her own.

She didn't expect him to come to her, embrace her or comfort her.

It was enough for her that he was in the same room.

That he didn't take her sister, although he could have.

She probably wouldn't have found out about anything, naively believing that everything was perfectly normal. She resisted the urge to let out a moan of despair and cuddled her face into her pillow, trying to fall asleep.

She awoke in the middle of the night, complete darkness all around her, only moonlight illuminated the chamber. She rose to sit up, looking around the room, sensing that her husband was not lying next to her. She saw that he was still sitting in his chair by the long-smoked fireplace, slumped slightly, his head resting on his shoulder.

She thought that he must have fallen asleep like this, drunk.

She wondered if she should wake him, tell him to lie down on the bed, decided against it, didn't want to frustrate him again.

She rose quietly, taking one of the quilts in her hand, and silently approached him barefoot. She covered him as gently as possible, doing her best not to make any loud movement. She looked at his sleeping face and sighed quietly, thinking that not even the scar and the lack of an eye could make her not see him as a handsome man.

She silently admired his long, shiny white hair, looking truly angelic, his unusual, sharp jaw, long, pointy nose and full, soft lips. She felt a pleasant tingling between her thighs at the memory of him kissing her.

She thought that he wasn't repelling her at all.

There was something about him that attracted her, despite his dark, scary nature.

She couldn't stop herself from touching him and gently brushed the back of her hand over his cheek, then rised her fingers to stroke his soft hair. She felt a wonderfully pleasant, comforting sensation as she did so, forgetting for a moment the unpleasant events of earlier that evening.

She moved away from him, not wanting to wake him, and walked slowly towards the bed with the intention of sleeping further. She shuddered when she heard his helpless, quiet mumbling.

"Don't leave me, mother."

She looked over her shoulder at him, wondering if she'd really heard it or if she'd just imagined it and saw that his chest was rising restlessly as if he was dreaming some kind of nightmare. She fought with herself, not knowing what to do, afraid that if he woke up, he would be furious with her. However, she couldn't help herself.

She approached him again, sitting down on his lap in his chair, her hand ran tenderly over his scarred cheek. She felt him flinch all over, frightened that he was awake, but he only caught her arm, pressing her hand to his chest. She thought with pain that something was happening inside him that she didn't understand, that he was in pain for some reason.

She wanted to give him some sort of relief.

She slid deeper, hugging his lowered head to her breasts, stroking slowly his hair with her trembling hand. She swallowed loudly, when he snuggled into her suddenly, wrapping his arms tightly around her waist.

She thought that he was like a helpless little child, so in need of his mother's care and tenderness.

She understood him, because she herself lacked that after her mother had left this world.

She laid her cheek on his head, closing her eyes, embracing him, stroking his hair with a slow, unhurried movements; she could feel him slowly calming down, falling back into a deep, sound sleep.

She thought that even if he thought it wasn't her, perhaps he was now experiencing some kind of relief and fulfilment that he needed.

She kissed tenderly the top of his head, touched that in this bizarre way she could suddenly be so wonderfully close to him.

She woke up after a long time, terrified, sucking in loud breath as she felt him rise with her, grabbing her hips. She wrapped her legs and arms around him, feeling her heart pounding hard, frightened that he would be furious with her.

"Forgive me." She mumbled, terrified that he would put her outside the door and simply shut it in front of her face, furious, recognising that she had taken advantage of a moment of his weakness.

He, however, to her surprise, did not head towards the door, but to his bed; she thought that perhaps he wanted to lie down to sleep in a more comfortable position.

She was wrong about that too.

He laid her down on his bedding, towering over her, breathing heavily, he could see that he was still drunk, his gaze hazy and cloudy.

She swallowed hard when he slowly begin to undo the buckles of his tunic, looking at her as if he wanted to devour her, she felt arousal at the sight, a pleasurable throbbing between her thighs.

She hissed quietly, immediately feeling that embarrassing sensation again as something flowed out of her, a mixture of her moisture and his seed running down her thigh. She glanced over her shoulder at him and smiled slightly at the sight of his peaceful, sleeping face.

You stifled a giggle as you and KAY/O shared a look, the robot merely shook his head as the two of you overhear the comms of the agent on the field.

"Does this happen all the time?" You asked, muting off your voice in comms.

"More often than you think," KAY/O replies.

You have just arrived at the Vulture, catching up on a mission that you were supposed to be in. Viper, Chamber, and Sova were already on the field, leaving you and KAY/O at the aircraft.

"Come now, mademoiselle. No need to be so cold, I know just the thing to warm you up."

Your eyes widened and slapped a hand on your mouth, hunching over as you heard those words.

"Less flirting, more focus." You could already tell that Viper was gritting her teeth.

"How could I focus when I'm in a presence of such beauty."

"Pfft–" your laughter busted out as you watched them from the screens. "Oh my gods this is so painful to hear!"

KAY/O lets out a defeated sigh, "Affirmative."

You tapped on your comms and finally made them aware of your presence.

Sova's voice then joined in, "Gaia? Is that you?"

You faintly hear Viper let out a chuckle

"What are you doing here?" Chamber's voice suddenly cut through in a demanding tone.

"Uhh, I'm part of the mission, duh."

"How was I not informed of this?"

"The last-minute briefing we had that you skipped." Viper answers in a deadpan tone. "It would only be natural for her to be here, she's the one who caught Legion lingering around the site."

"That's right." You nodded. "And FYI, my flora just sensed movement."

"I'm picking up a signal near A site," KAY/O added as he scanned through the screens. "Everyone in position, they're here. I'm sending Gaia in."

You made your way to your motorcycle that was parked near the exit, KAY/O lowers the altitude of the Vulture, preparing to open the aircraft's backdoors.

"Sova, ice cream and barbie movies after this?" You quickly asked as you mount your ride.

"It would be a pleasure," Sova replied.

"That's how you do it, Chamber." You teased as you put on your helmet.

The familiar sound of Chamber's gun rang through the air almost immediately and you put your barrier down to see your copy's body fall.

With the detonator in hand, you ran towards the spike, the beeping sound going faster as you began defusing. The bomb started to glow red and your surroundings started to rise.

"C'mon, I have ice cream waiting for me after this." You clicked your tongue as the spike started to form cracks underneath it, nearing its end. And just before it did, you finally defused it.

"Oh sweet barbie mermaidia." You breathed out in relief before letting yourself down on the ground.

"That was fucking close. . . "

Hurried footsteps pounded the ground as they rushed towards you.

"Gaia!" Sova kneeled next to you as he started inspecting your state. "Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

"I'm fine." You rasped before trying to sit up. "Just got hit on the side, no biggie."

"Are you sure?" Your mentor asked worriedly

"Yeah, look, I'm healing right now." You assured as you twisted your torso a bit to the side to show your glowing palm covering your side.

You gave him a weak smile, "Thanks for the headshot."

You scoffed, taking his hand.

"I could've handled her if we had more time." You sighed as you stood up with Sova following suit.

"But, yes. I was in distress."

"Would the damsel still be in distress if I say that she owes me one?" Chamber asked with a sly smirk.

"Oh god, what do you want." You shot him a playful look of disdain.

"Dinner, dancing– I know the perfect place." There was a glint of craftiness in his eyes and you couldn't help but be impressed.

You then felt a large warm hand on your lower back.

"We need to head back," Sova utters, looking at you gently. "Captain is waiting."

she would be a liar to say she hated it. she could lie and say she wished to work, wished to go outside the town they lived in. truth was, the only part she hated was harry leaving in the morning. she loved doting on him, making him his favorite breakfast in the morning, making sure the house was clean for him when he got home, making sure he had dinner on the table, making sure the mini bar was fully stocked. those were her second favorite moments of the day, the first of course being the moments she gets to spend with harry.

she always woke up first, mainly out of habit. the clock on the nightstand read 6:23, and the tattooed arm around her waist tightened at the different breathing pattern. she let herself close her eyes and breathe in harry’s scent. it was cruel to think that in three hours he’d leave her, and not return for another eight.

“your thinking is waking me up.” harry whined in her ear, she yawned out a laugh and turned in his arms to look up at him, her chin against his chest. “go to bed baby, you don’t want to be exhausted all day.” she tucked a unruly curl of his away from those deep green eyes glancing down at her lovingly. green was her favorite color.

“don’t worry, darling.” he whispered to her, pulling her impossibly closer. “it’s worth it, a little more sleepy, for a little more time with you.” he kissed the top of her head as she snuggled into him.

he would always whisper that phrase to her; don’t worry, darling. she never had to worry, not about him, not about her, not about them. all she had to do was exist and love. then harry would take care of the rest. it was blissful, why would she ever want anything different?

8:45 rolled around, all the husbands and wives began to step out of their houses, to either wish them off, or go to work. harry always followed behind her, wanting to bask in the sweet little dresses she would always wear for him. though she didn’t always find that fair, especially when he was wearing her favorite navy suit.

“you have to eat your dinner first baby.” she laughed, she felt like a mother scolding her child to eat their vegetables before they were allowed ice cream. now she was telling harry he needed real food, before he could have the woman he loved. “i like my idea better.” he picked her up bridal style and began carrying her to their bedroom. she whimpered as he set her down gently, “i worked so hard to cook for you.”

Okay so I over fried the image; as far as I can tell here is everything that is in the sand:

(I have seen a theory that this is a dead body, a player having dropped their items; an interesting concept, however that isn't how players die on the qsmp, they have actual dead bodies. Either way, I don't see any other explanation. I did immediately think that 7 was a very random number, and one extra dead player would add up to 8, which matches the ice chamber. The skull may back up the theory of a dead player, because everything else is something that a person would be likely to drop, but the skull stands out to me. Maybe it's someone who has been dead a very long time? So long that their dead body has actually rotted into a skeleton? It is in the desert. Some kind of old federation ruin in the desert that a traveler got trapped in a long time ago?)

The passing of King Viserys

Alicent stood by as (Y/N) and Rhaenyra took care of Viserys. Alicent got the tea and was about to give it to Viserys.

“What are you doing?” Rhaenyra asks

“The dream that Aegon the conqueror had before he took the the Seven Kingdoms his dream is why we rule and why Rhaeynra is heir and Queen and Alicent if you or your father tries to usurp the throne I will kill both of you so don’t try it Rhaenyra stay with father I have something to do” (Y/N) says as she leaves the room.

(Y/N) makes her way to Otto Hightowers chambers with her loyal guards behind her as she opens his doors.

“Otto Hightower, my father will not make it through the night and I’m here to tell you that you are no longer needed here guards take him to the black cells” (Y/N) commands the knights as they take Otto.

“Make sure the Queen stays in her room and don’t let anyone in till I tell you otherwise to your face” (Y/N) tells the knight.

(Y/N) walks back to Viserys’s room and as he is taking his last breath with Rhaenyra by his side.

“Oh… my Aemma… my love” Viserys says as he takes his last breath.

“Rhaenyra” (Y/N) says softly as she holds her and they both cry.

“Ser Harwin is here and he will watch over fathers body till morning” (Y/N) tells her.

The next morning

(Y/N) walks the halls till she reaches Rhaenyra’s room and opens the door and tells her it’s time.

(Y/N) had gathered her siblings and their children and members of the small council and people filed The Red Keep and (Y/N) addressed the people.

“It saddens me to say my father and King passed away last night in his sleep with myself and Rhaenyra by his side” (Y/N) tells the masses.

(Y/N) takes her fathers crown and puts it on Rhaenyra’s head.

“Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen first of her name Queen of the Andals the Rhoynar and the first men Lady of the Seven Kingdoms protector of the Realm” (Y/N) says as everyone clapped and cheered for her.

The dinner

“Where is my father?” Alicent asks (Y/N).

“He’s in the black cells; he will be let out soon and he will be sent back to Old Town”(Y/N) tells Alicent.

“Why is he there (Y/N)?” Alicent asks.

“He wanted to take the Throne for my sister and I was not going to let that happen. Alicent that’s why you were all locked in your rooms for a little while” (Y/N) tells Alicent.

Alicent looks at you with wide eyes before continuing eating.

“My husband will be here soon Rhaenyra and I will be here for some time with him here but we will leave soon after” (Y/N) tells Rhaenyra.

“Who is your husband?” Daemon asks.

“My husband is Cregan Stark the Lord of Winterfell” (Y/N) says.

“How did you come to marry him?” Daemon asks.

“I flew North with the twins. I wanted to see the North again and I met him and his sister and his new born son and his wife had passed away and we talked and we grew to love each other and married” (Y/N) says.

Daemon didn’t look too happy that you’ve moved on and found love.

Rhaenyra looks at you and smiles “I’m happy that you’ve found love sister”

“Thank you Rhaenyra” (Y/N) says smiling at her sister.

(Y/N) and Rhaenyra were left alone.

“I could never forgive Daemon and Laena and you” (Y/N) tells Rhaenyra.

“I understand that I’ve hurt you by being with him and loving him and for that I’m sorry” Rhaeynra tells you.

“I know Rhaenyra and you can’t help who you love but he hurt and broke me and I will never forgive him for that” (Y/N) tells Rhaenyra.

Harwin knocks on the door and (Y/N) leaves them alone to speak alone as (Y/N) walks back to her room.

“Why him?” A voice says as you close the door to your room.

“What? Why are you in my room Daemon?” (Y/N) asks Daemon.

“Answer me why him?” Daemon yells out at you.

“Because he loves me and cares for me and he loves my children as his own” (Y/N) tells Daemon.

Daemon looks at you and stands up and grabs your face and pulls you close.

“You are mine not matter what you may think you are never going to be free of me (Y/N)” Daemon says holding your face close before pushing you on the bed and pulling at your clothes and starts to kiss you and pull down his pants he starts to force himself into you and on you as you cry out and yell for help but on one came to help.

“Let’s see what your wolf thinks when you have another one of my bastards” Daemon says laughing while walking out of your room not noticing Rhaenyra and Harwin standing their as they finally hear your cries and see Daemon pulling up his pants and they see you laying in the bed Rhaenyra walks up to Daemon and slaps him as Harwin tries to pull her away (Y/N) gets up and grabs the dagger from the table and runs at Daemon and stabs him over and over as he begs for you to stop but you don’t till he stops moving and you drop the dagger and fall to the floor and cry out as Rhaenyra pulls away from Harwin and runs to you and holds you crying.

“I’m sorry I’m sorry” Rhaenyra cry’s out to you.

Out of breath, the young pretty girl with white-blond hair arrived at the walls of a parapet of her chambers. The cold of the stone penetrated through the skin on her hands and felt pleasant, for she was heated from walking so fast.

After such a dinner, who could blame her for leaving so quickly? Never one to get involved in her family's quarrels, she almost didn't notice them. Or at least tried with all her might. Her thin fingers slowly traced the splitting of the individual stones of the wall. The situation between her brothers Jayce and Luke, and her uncles Aegon and Aemond escalated. Not least because of the latter. The movements of her hand stopped. There was something incredibly whimsical about him, something inhuman. She had glimpsed it in his intact eye. Pure dislike. The words he spoke during his toast, he chose incredibly cunning and clever. Without a doubt, he was dangerous and not to be underestimated. Calming down, the girl decided she would try to talk to her mother about it.

Mhaenyra loved her mother with all her heart. They had a deep connection. The last six years on Dragonstone had been extremely comfortable and almost peaceful, but the young princess felt that those days were probably now numbered. Soon her grandfather, the king, would die. And then nothing would stand between Otto and Alicent Hohenturm and their family. Even at her tender age, young Velaryon knew about most of the political happenings around her.

She exhaled haltingly, letting fresh, cool air enter her lungs.

A sudden weight on her shoulders surprised her and she looked around quickly. The shiver that ran down her spine when she looked into the almost luminous eye of Prince Aemond was ice-cold.

He had put his heavy, noble cloak over her figure and was now staring at her. How had he come to be on the parapet? As if automatically, her eyes immediately searched the surroundings, finding some thick vines that the agile prince must have climbed up.

Mhaenyra tried to hide her shock. To suppress the tinge of fear. The prince continued not to say a word, he tilted his head silently. Then the princess found her voice again. "Thank you very much, uncle. Forgive me, I did not expect to find you here. At this hour." She sounded calm and in control, almost somewhat admonishing toward the end of her words. She had this quality in common with her mother. "Such a wind as tonight will chill you as swords do some men when they pierce them, princess. You should not catch cold."  His voice sounded harsh, yet not heartless. Mhaenyra could not interpret it.

Slowly, the prince moved away. He took a few steps backward without averting his gaze from the blonde woman, and ultimately eyed her figure. "Your concern honors me. I will be fine." Mhaenyra wrestled a gentle smile from herself. Silence enveloped the two and once again the prince tilted his head, a false smile gracing his lips.

"My coat suits you. Or is it the color green that flatters you?"

"What have you come here for?" With a hard face that was supposed to cover her uncertainty, she asked her question. "I came to invite you." The young man began to circle her unobtrusively. From one side of the railing, to the other. The princess's hands searched behind her for the protection of the cold masonry. An invitation? A blush rose in her cheeks. Just the two of them? Why else would he climb onto her balcony at night, surely not to convey a formal invitation? Before answering, she again suppressed her fear and excitement. The intimidating man was only her uncle. "An invitation? And that couldn't have waited until tomorrow?" Her voice grew louder and more determined. She pushed herself off the stone with her newfound strength. Aemond just smiled his creepy smile and remained silent.

After a few seconds of silence, Mhaenyra decided to strut past him, press his cloak into his hands and walk towards her chamber. This situation became too awkward and uncomfortable for her. Even if the prince made her feel insecure, he had such an attractive effect on her. This was something the princess had to put a stop to immediately, as soon as possible. Besides, she wanted to avoid being seen on the parapet. This evening was already eventful enough for all of them.

"Jaelan naejot sōvegon lēda ao va vaghar." (I want to fly with you. On Vaghar.)

Abruptly, the princess stopped. He was speaking high Valyrian. His accent was clearly audible and there were also trivial mistakes in his sentence structure, but it softened her mind immensely. She loved this language.

It was as if an invisible barrier between them had been broken.

Suddenly he seemed more human to her. Curious, Mhaenyra turned around, her blonde hair flying over her shoulder to her back like a fan. "Ao ȳdragon Valyrio Eglie?" (You speak High Valyrian?) Unlike before, she didn't try to hide her excitement. While the prince moved his chin towards the ground as a hint of an approving nod, the princess took a step towards him. He seemed to be waiting for a response.

"Va se zaldrīzes mazēdā?" (On the Dragon you stole?) She had raised her chin as she chose her words. Newfound confidence flowed through the blonde. Aemond didn't make a face. He did not avert his gaze from her eyes as he began to walk slowly, with large strides toward her. "Nyke addemmagon syt ziry." (I paid for it.) He stopped close to Mhaenyra and looked down at her. Aemond was much taller than Manhyra; she could feel his breath on her hairline. She did not flinch, however she felt weaker next to him. "Nyke gīmigon. Iksan vaoreznuni nūmāzma bona" (I know. I am sorry about that.) Ashamed, the princess lowered her head. "Is that so?" Now he sounded heartless.

She raised her head and looked him straight in the eye. "Yes. The whole event was an atrocity. Nothing about it should have happened."

With a snort, the prince shifted his weight from one leg to the other. His hand found its way to her cheek, his index finger brushing from her forehead over her left eye. The woman flinched, but his hand remained rigidly on her. She could not escape him.

A sudden knock snapped Mhaenyra out of her conversation. Immediately the pressure on her cheek was gone and with hurried steps she made her way inside the keep. "Who is there?" She exclaimed half aloud. "It is I, child." The Velaryon recognized her mother's voice and quickly looked at the parapet to send her uninvited guest away. But she found only the freezing wind on the balcony.
