intended to make chocolate/chocolate chip cookies today to remedy the tragic lack of desserts currently in my house.
swerved at the last minute into impulsive baking experiments, and now I have a batch of chocolate-matcha cookies instead.
I'm pretty pleased with how they turned out!

People will be like 'oh you go to uni, you must be smart!' mate, I've never met people with less common sense than uni students. Though what else would you expect when you stick a load of sleep deprived, overwhelmed, young adults together

Diet culture as it is rn needs to die out. No more focusing on diet regulation as a means of losing weight, more focus on simply balancing it so that you get the most diverse amount of nutrients possible. Fat and carbs and sugars are all good for you and good for your body you just need to make sure you're eating them in balanced amounts

you losers will see a thin woman existing and rush to let her know how sick and disgusting and starved she looks. I'm becoming so disillusioned with the body positivity movement.
can't even talk about how nutrition and being careful about what you put in your body are important without some performative insecure idiot having a meltdown about diet culture.
everyone's willing to make video essays and write theses on counting calories being "inherently unhealthy", "almond moms" and people who very obviously have an unhealthy, deficient diet. these same people will then turn around and pretend that stuffing your face with empty calories with no nutritional value, greasy, fried shit and ungodly amounts of sugar five times a day everyday is "self care" and "knowing what's right for my body and giving it what it needs 🥺🥰💖".

Quil you eat so healthy every time you answer my asks i am like wow i should be more like Quil! Does your family just not buy junk food or do you not care for it generally? Or both?
- Snack Attack Anon
Kinda both, but we do buy and eat "junk" food! I don't want to give the impression that I'm some sort of food purist who cuts out anything "unnatural" or processed or anything like that. Balance is healthy and food is fuel
We buy things like frozen pizzas and chicken nuggets and chips and things generally considered "junk," we just buy it in moderation alongside other foods. Because generally, our favorite foods and recipes are ones that involve a lot of fruits, veggies, the "healthier" things, and we can afford to eat those. But it's convenient to have quick meals sometimes, and there's nothing wrong with them or with enjoying them. Some "junk" foods do just taste good!
I do personally prefer fresher things; I know a lot of people with sensory issues have trouble with fruits and veggies, but I just happen to not be one of them. I love the texture and flavor of fresh fruit and veggies, and the natural colors are incredibly appealing--that's one of the reasons I don't eat as much "junk" food, it literally just doesn't look as good so it's not as high in my rankings. Things like burgers and fries and nuggets and pizza aren't colorful enough, they're so beige
What's "junk" and what's "healthy" is subjective, and the healthier thing is to have a balance and not restrict yourself. Yes, I'm fortunate enough to have consistent access to fresh produce and nutrient rich foods, and my favorite foods are from those categories--which is why they've come up more, because you've been asking about them. But that's not all I eat! I do eat healthily, and that includes "junk" foods from time to time.

day 8. Creampie - Mersadie/Loken
Loken barely moves under her, like he still fears he doesn't know her body's limits. Or, perhaps, like he knows them all too well; Mersadie is trembling despite his caution, his cock such a thick weight inside her that the shallow rocking of her hips is plenty. His pale skin flushes, cheeks and neck and even chest as he gets close.
"Go on," she coaxes. "I want to feel you let go."
He breathes her name when he comes, cock pulsing, and the illicit, intimate thrill of his come filling her makes her shudder and clutch him tight in turn.

The secret Dungeon Meshi sauce that's getting people to eat better is that it's so non-judgmental. Senshi and the rest of the gang never talk about what not to eat besides things that taste bad and literal poison. They don't even talk about "health" that much besides the importance of a balanced diet. It's so much easier to eat well when you think of food simply as something your body needs, and that it's often worth the extra effort to make it taste good, especially when you understand how to connect "things your body needs" with "things that taste good"
