There are two kinds of people in the world, the ones who do chores to the tunes of music, and others who haven’t discovered how amazing and life-changing podcasts can be.
Jonathan Sims I will learn to draw you (this is my doing. I could draw him however I want and I choose to stick with an image of him in my brain that is difficult for me to draw. Masochism.)
Not s5 Mahtins below I enjoyed drawing cuz hes neat:
(Edit: I yassified Martin in the do not separate cuz I wanted his hair fluffier)
The sad thing about great horror podcasts is that it's really hard to just sit down and enjoy an episode with a friend unless you're driving somewhere or something.
It takes a very specific kind of friendship to sit in a room together silently listening to some guy suffering.
catherine tate spending a lot of time not knowing donna was as popular as she was bc a journalist said to her before she went in to film series 4 "what do you think of the fanbase hating the fact you're coming back". is a) so fucking heartbreaking and b) the most on-brand donna noble thing i could ever think of
ok btw if you like the themes and narrative beats of the locked tomb that revolve around duty, guilt, sacrifice, grief, self-loathing, psychosis and mental illness, spacey sci-fi settings, memorable side characters, parental issues, found family, complex queer relationships, women with knives, fuckery about gender, and/or whatever the hell you're supposed to do when you're supposed to die but keep on living. i beseech you to check out the juno steel stories in the penumbra podcast
Life is cruel and the gods we worship will chew all of us up and spit us out. Violence is senseless and will never bring justice nor satisfaction but the death machine churns on and on anyway and its perpetrators will be given medals as consolation for their emptiness. But there can always be kindness. And there can always be hope. And maybe we can walk into desolation and find fertile ground in the wreckage. Or maybe we die along the way but maybe the people who follow us will get just a little bit closer. Every god is a god of death and we cannot escape them so long as they live but eventually they will die too. Stories are powerful but you must leave the narrative behind once it is warped and no longer useful. Kill your gods, love your neighbor. These Were The Silt Verses. I'm going to go insane
Well you shared a link to high school games that I didn't know about so now I'm watching those!
And that led me to this podcast episode those hosts did where they are talking about Azzi winning Gatorade Player of the Year. And they are so super complimentary about her and the stories are just wonderful. A has a heart of gold.
Anyway now I want to find the games that we think P might have been at like the weekend of 1/18/20.

Glad I could share something you didn't know about 😄. You always bring me content that brings me joy and helps me get my day off to a good start. They're so proud and happy for Azzi 🥺.
"This couldn't have happened to a more classy young lady. She was just the most sweet, polite 16 year old, she was just so happy for her friend. An assassin on the court but just a lovely girl. Humble is the best word to describe unless you want to get into hard-working"
