Can you talk about Modern AU Patrochilles? ^_^
i would LOVE to.
like i mentioned before, achilles is an amputee. he lost his right leg when he was pretty young.
achilles and patroclus grew up together. their dads have been best friends ever since their uni days. at the start of the story they’re queer platonic partners, but eventually they develop a romantic relationship
automedon is their best friend who has to deal with third wheeling all the damn time
achilles has gifted kid burnout syndrome. his dad expects him to pursue his talent in sports and his mum expects him to go into politics or philosophy (which, like in ancient greece, is an important career). he, however, wants to pursue music
patroclus has the opposite issue. he’s just sort of drifting with no real goal. he ends up falling in love with the dog shelter community service he’s made to do after he gets into a fight with hector
speaking of, the story behind that is that patroclus provokes hector after the whole paris/helen/menelaus drama (i’ll get into it if anyone asks). they get into a fight and hector. one fight later and patroclus gets out lucky with a concussion, a suspension, and a community service charge.
achilles overreacts and starts tweaking and beats the absolute shit out of hector. he literally chases him for like three blocks and kicks shit out of him. if his mother wasn’t thetis and he wasn’t basically a child prodigy, he would have absolutely been arrested.
he was mostly tweaking bc when The Boys™️ (odysseus, ajax and menelaus) showed up, they lost their shit on the way to the hospital bc patroclus had a seizure and expected the worst case scenarios which, when achilles is on the other end of the line, is not the best idea
it probably didn’t help that achilles and patroclus were in that ‘will-they-won’t-they’ sensitive spot where they should really be communicating but didn’t
it’s ok when patroclus is better they talk and kiss kiss fall in love
there’s no such thing as sexuality (or race) in my modern au, but if i were to assign them a sexuality, pat would align more with being demi and achilles would be demi romantic bisexual. but like i said, those labels don’t exist for them.
peleus owns a fairly popular cafe that achilles and patroclus help out at from time to time. after pat’s mum died, menoetius lost his job and peleus gave him a job at the cafe.
yes the cafe is called phthia
peleus was in the army but has since retired and used his retirement fund (and inheritance) to open phthia after he and thetis divorced
thetis comes from a wealthy family who is well known in the political sphere. her parents made her marry peleus after visiting the oracle of delphi. long story.
bonus but here’s some old modern au doodles i abandoned of patrochilles (+ pyrrhus and automedon)

Journal Entry #1
To say this post has been a long time coming would be a lie, stretching a truth. However, the message behind it is something I think I needed to hear, and maybe you, reader, need to hear it too. But, this also comes as two parts for why-even as I write this-I am hesitant to post. For one, it is going to be vulnerable and an evaluation of my psyche. Two, I know how the community reacts to people that say they’re in oathsworn positions, or are currently working up to it, and that’s not something I wanted to deal with. However, these positions are for the community, and part of that is going to be the backlash. With all that being said, hello reader, and welcome to my first entry.
On March 13th, I finally accepted the signs from Lord Apollon that oraclehood was a possibility for me and did a small ritual in the comfort of my room. That night, I said that I would do my best as a training oracle. I realized my first task on April 3rd (with the help of my kids), and it was to build connections with the other Theoi, names that I’d heard repeat in my dreams over and over. Ten days later, I made contact with Lord Dionysus for the first time, a tarot reading being done with Him on the 27th.
At the beginning, I said that I would do my best, and that I didn’t want to fail Lord Apollon. Yet…I swore I had. I haven’t been as active with my practice as I was at the beginning of the year. Reading the texts and researching was…not what it should’ve been. I hadn’t done many readings, my overall presence was gone. Even now, I don’t know why I disappeared like this. For a while, I tried to say grief. Then, mental health. Surely there was some reason I couldn’t do this thing I was so excited for. But no, this was it. I failed. I was a rotten pick, one that spoiled.
Or so I thought.
This brings me to the month of June. A little more than a month of close to nothing. Sunday night (the 15th), I had the urge to do a reading. Monday came, and I decided it was time. After waking up, I cleansed my deck, and asked Lord Apollon to read with me.
Knight of Cups, Ace of Wands, Four of Pentacles, Two of Pentacles, Ten of Cups, and Death. None reversed, all coming out of the deck rather quickly. This is how I’m interpreting it.
Knight of Cups, a card of good news, excitement, and hope. It is the card that-when I asked-Lord Apollon assigned to me, and upon telling my kids, they agreed. I see this card as a direct calling to me. It being the first card I pulled, I felt the weight of it immediately.
Ace of Wands and Four of Pentacles, two cards that couldn’t feel much different. New beginnings, talent, enthusiasm, being met with holding on, needing to process and let go. In my deck, the imagery for these two cards show both figures reaching upwards, facing each other, as if clawing, grasping for the same thing. Both desperate to take over. New beginnings colliding with an obstruction. Two powers tugging and pulling, dragging one way or another.
Two of Pentacles and Ten of Cups, improvement. Balance, fulfillment. Learning what decisions you should go for, things falling into place. A transition. Two of Pentacles aiming towards the Ten of Cups, the way that you are supposed to be moving. Prospects of the future.
And finally, Death. Death stares straight at the reader. A demand for change. The reader is going to go through change. It may hurt, it may be uncomfortable, but there is change.
So…what does it all mean?
To me, it’s a predicted timeline. It shows a series of events for my journey. I started being enthusiastic, ecstatic. I loved the idea of training under Lord Apollon, amazed that I would be picked. Yet for some reason, I stalled. Something was holding me back. While yes, it could’ve absolutely been grief and mental health, which weren’t the best during May, there’s something more behind it. A fear, a self-consciousness. Why me? What on earth could I do? What did I do to gain the attention of a god? To add onto it, I think a fear of…not wanting to disappoint my friends came in. My kids, they’re so supportive and amazing, I’ve watched them through the majority of their oathsworn journeys. Then here I was, fresh at the start. Which is nothing against them, as I know they’re going to read this, but I think it’s the truth? Writing this, I still want to say sorry. Sorry for…maybe disappointing whatever expectations you may have had of me.
Things should get better though, I’m stepping up and trying again, I promise. I’m taking the time, taking notes. Starting from the top and making sure I digest what I’m reading. I can’t remember all the names and stories, but the concepts are filling in.
If you read this far, thank you. I hope my next entry will be more uplifting, but it feels important to get this out there, for some reason. Bye everyone, until next time!

Is augury kismet a homestuck oc of yours? I've never read it but I'm aware of the term kismesis and that the trolls have six letter first and last names. I'd love to learn more about them if they are, I love hearing about your other ocs like Annie
yeah she is! she's my fantroll oc from an rp server where we were randomly assigned blood colours and classpects and had to construct a character out of that. augury is a jadeblood mage of light prospit dreamer, so i decided to go with a tormented clairvoyant angle. she's exceedingly nihilistic and passive at first, because she's labouring under the conviction that free will is an illusion and that none of her choices matter because her entire life is already predetermined and has been since birth. this isn't helped by the fact that, in alternia, it kind of is, since your place on the hemospectrum heavily dictates your social opportunities and lifestyle choices, as well as being forcibly befriended by a particularly unstable purpleblood (my friend @zoomane's oc terack). they have a relationship best described as "toxic codependent moiralleigance", despite not actually being in any quadrant. augury's name reflects her nature, since "augury" is derived from "augur", a type of oracle in ancient rome who attempted to divine the future from the flight patterns of birds, and "kismet" is a word synonymous with "fate". as a mage of light, augury uses her power's focus on knowledge and fortune to attempt to divine the fate of the players and react accordingly.
augury is an adult (all our characters were adults), which means that she has a role in the empire. since she's a jade, she's not allowed to be conscripted, but she's not very good with or interested in infants, so she became a space warrior nun instead of joining her peers in the brooding caverns. her strife specibus is snarekind (relating to the theme of the threads of fate), and she mostly uses it to set traps and garotte people. she has a rosary made of a tempered high-strength metal alloy which she can rely on for that purpose in a pinch.
apart from being thoroughly depressing and ominous to be around, augury is fairly detached and standoffish. she cares a lot more than she lets on, but she has a prickly outward demeanour and a defensive mean streak that make it hard to notice until you get to know her better. her horn shape reflects this - they resemble thorny vines erupting from her skull.

"The Sins We Share", Solavellan Convent AU
Explicit || Convent/Church AU inspired by the Byzantine Empire || Priest x Nun || Lots of Lore & Character Study || Rivalmance || Tags Will Be Added with Progression of the Story
After awakening from his millennia long slumber, Solas arrives at the convent of the Order of Silentir, disguised as a scholar priest. Near here, in the Frostback Mountains, a rift was formed and a statuette of Mythal fell from the sky. It is believed to contain a fragment of All Mother's soul, something mythallians have been preparing for for centuries. He seeks to lock away the fragment, just like he did with the Evanuris all these years ago, to keep the false goddess and her minions away from this fragile world. He does not foresee how much trouble the future Oracle will prove to be. Sister Pav'ra is just like the other cloistresses, if not for her destined fate and a deep connection to the Fade. She's devoted, the High Priestess' favourite pet, assigned to assist Father Solas in his studies of the rift. But, under a faithful facade, there is something wicked kept in deep slumber, something Solas promises himself to uncover. With dirty secrets coming into the light of day, everything turns more complicated, foul and filthy than any of them could ever predict. “So I rise for your glory and never fall. Pray for me, Mother of All. Mythal'enaste.”
You can read the first chapter, "Starved", here and a small excerpt under the cut~
all the images included in this post are from pinterest
---
Her palms smooth down the robe, burgundy but with a gold rope wrapped around her waist. It’s a reminder of her devotion, of how far she has come and all the right she did to get to this place. She brushes fingers down her shawl, making sure it’s in place, weaved into long golden hair, before heading towards the gathering. Her steps are practiced in stealth, subtle. She’d learnt not to be seen nor heard, just a ghost haunting the church. In the commotion and excitement she’s not noticed, not until the High Priestess turns around to search for her. She can’t see her gaze but knows exactly when it lands upon her, for the corners of the lips of the older woman curve up in a smile. Warmth spreads down Pav’ra’s limbs as she’s gestured to come closer. She will make her proud.
“Lethallin, let me introduce you to sister Pav’ra” the High Priestess announces, turning the man’s attention towards her. The other cloistresses step to the side to let her through, some with jealousy painted over their faces, while the more friendly ones giggle or send her encouraging smiles. Thank Mythal, she still has some friends in the convent. “Sister Pav’ra is one of the most knowledgeable on the Fade in our Order. She will show you around our archives and attend to the rift with you. Lethallan, brother Solas will offer guidance in your studies. I trust you will provide him with proper hospitality.”
Pav’ra lowers her gaze as she offers a little bow to the priest before looking upon him. She can’t help the curiosity in her eyes as they stray to assess the new arrival. He is tall indeed, with grey irises guarded but filled with life. They scan her back, expression relaxed and calm, as she does her best to stand tall without seeming cocky. It is no good to be too confident.
“Andaran atish’an, Father. May the grace of our Lady fill your days with light” she speaks quietly, for the loud in these tall halls is suffocating. Every sound bounces around in the church and the buzz surrounding them is enough to disturb the spirits. “It’s an honour to have you with us.”
“The pleasure is all mine” he responds with casualness not fully proper for the occasion. Tipping his head to the side, he rests fingers against his chin as if in deep thought, eyes never leaving her face. The contact is far too long, leaving the High Priestess clearing her throat.

How to Handle Difficult Spirit Communication
UPG Warning: All of this information comes from my personal practice and is not universally true.
To start, spirit communication can be challenging when done solely through divination, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. For beginners, I suggest researching how to sense and perceive spirits. After a while you'll likely begin to develop your own personal methods.
That being said, you don't need to have highly developed spiritual perception in order to communicate. This is where divination comes in. It can be difficult and sometimes frustrating but the more you practice, the easier it will become.
Let's dive into some of the common causes of unsuccessful spirit communication:
You don't know who you're reaching out to or why.
I think this happens more often among beginner practitioners. It was definitely one of my first mistakes when starting. You want to get into spirit work so you dust off your divination tools and start searching for the first spirit willing to talk to you. This IME has resulted in spotty or inconsistent communication and downright unpleasant experiences.
You should know why you're opening channels for communication. Are you attempting to contact a specific individual? Are you searching for a spirit guide or familiar? Are you seeking information or help with a working? Maybe you just want to honor your house or local land spirits. Maybe you suspect that a spirit is trying to get your attention and you want to find out why.
Whatever the reason, you want to make sure that you have a vague idea of who you're contacting and what your intentions are. One thing that I've found when reaching out without direction is that sometimes several unrelated spirits will come through, tying up the lines and confusing the reading.
Divination method is too limiting.
Some spirits prefer specific divination methods so it's important to experiment. Not getting results while using the pendulum? Try something else, like automatic drawing/writing, shufflemancy, or scrying. Tarot meanings not lining up? Try reading the images or elements and numbers instead, or adding an oracle deck to the mix.
I find that using two or more techniques at one time yields the best results. This includes asking for signs and performing dream work or spirit travel.
Results are being overlooked
I always make sure to write down results during divination. Otherwise it's very easy to miss out on key information. Let's say that I'm doing some bare bones spirit identification. I choose to use tarot and shufflemancy. During the session I notice that I'm pulling a lot of wand cards and many of the songs mention fire in some way. So, okay, now I know that this spirit is likely connected to the element fire. Good enough for now.
The next day I ask a follow-up question and don't get any results. This is when I would go back to my notes and review them. It's possible that my question was answered during the previous session and I had overlooked it while focusing on the more obvious information (the fire themes), and the spirit is frustrated with having to repeat themselves.
Questions are too broad or too restrictive.
Let's go back to general identification. I break out my tarot cards and ask, "Who am I speaking with?" and the cards that I pull aren't making sense. In my opinion this question is too direct and open-ended. I might want to rephrase it and ask something like "Which of the images on these cards best represent your preferred form?".
If successful, I would at least have a general idea of appearance and go from there. I might take note of additional details like the suit of the card, it's elemental and planetary correspondence, and assigned meaning.
I would avoid yes/no questions completely. In my personal experience they're always inconsistent, frustrating, and require a lot of guesswork.
Certain actions are required for contact.
Depending on context, culture, folklore, personal path, etc., some spirits may require that you perform a certain ritual or provide an offering before they will speak or work with you.
Now I'm not suggesting you leave offerings for just any random spirit, but there are some situations where it's appropriate. If contacted by an unknown spirit, for example, I would skip all forms of veneration and go straight to divination. But if I were to try and work with, let's say the spirit of my local river, I would have my offering ready before introduction.
You're communicating too often.
Just like any activity, spirit work takes energy. Overdoing it can and will result in burn-out.
If your attempts at communication are unsuccessful you might just need a break. Make sure to step back often and focus your attention elsewhere, like self-care, socialization, and hobbies. Answers will often present themselves after or even during a period of rest.

If i'm a Scorpio rising but my lord of geniture is Jupiter, am I ruled by Mars or by Jupiter?
First of all, I recommend Demetra George's book¹, where she goes into depth about all these different types of Hellenistic "lords" and "masters".
The ruler of the Ascendant and the first house signifies the person, it's more likely to point to things related to health, appearance, temperament, mind and life focus. Its placement, its relationship to the rest of the chart and aspects will point to where and how the native will find themselves frequently in their life, with those things being very central or defining of their personal narrative. If you have a planet conjunct your ascendant ruler or a very close aspect it could represent another person who's always there in your life, or some thing that's more present in your story than anything else.
But the ascendant ruler is not necessarily the strongest planet in your chart. Sometimes the native will have a 10th house ruler that's a lot stronger; and this could cause, let's say, the personal to be less imperative than the professional. But this doesn't mean that the 10th house ruler won't mean anything about who you are.
Throughout the history of astrology, all authors disagreed on the correct way to elect the most influential or most important planet in a nativity. "Lord of the Geniture" is what William Lilly (17th century England) called his own version of it while offering his point of view on that concept. Here's what he said:
I am cleerly of this opinion, viz. That Planet who hath most essentiall and accidentall dignities in the Figure, and is posited best, and elevated most in the Scheame, that he ought to be Lord of the geniture, and am confident the whole actions of the Native will more or lesse pertake of the nature of that Planet and so his Conditions, Complexion, Temperament and Manners shall be much regulated unto the properties assigned that Planet (consideratis, considerandis;) yet doubtlesse if any other Planet be very neer so strong as him whom we formerly mentioned, he shall much participate, and a kind of mixture must be framed according to the severall fortitudes each Planet hath, together with the aspects good or evill of the other Planets intervening.²
Well, here he says the lord of geniture will also have to do with someone's actions, conditions, complexion, temperament and manners, all things we normally assign to the ascendant ruler. That's where it becomes a philosophical problem because astrology is older than our contemporary idea of identity or the individual. Our contemporary ontological theory is that you are your interiority, or your brain, or your mental illnesses, or your mannerisms, your manias, you're just interacting with the world as a removed being; but the astrological chart is about all of your life and everything that happens in it and those things form character. Astrology studies fate and your fate isn't removed from who you are. That's possibly some of what Heraclitus means by "ethos anthropos daimon". ³
Although it's important to be clear that I'm talking about an ontological theory where destiny/fate is involved, but the astrological chart itself isn't you at all, of course, because it's just an oracle, a symbolic tool that helps understand life. My point here is NOT to have you identify with your chart and think that all the planets in a chart have profound subjective meaning. The ruler of the ascendant is symbolic of you, yet the Lord of Geniture can also signify things about you and those things may feel and actually are very personal, because it's your life.
-----------
¹ The book is "Ancient Astrology in Theory and Practice: A Manual of Traditional Techniques, Volume II: Delineating Planetary Meaning". It's all of the Part Nine, but Lilly's Lord of Geniture is more similar to the ancient Lord of the Nativity (Kurios) which she talks about in chapter 94. If you can't find that book you can talk to me through chat and I'll help.
² William Lilly - Christian Astrology, book 3 chapter CV Of the Lord of Geniture. If you go there to the chapter, you'll possibly notice that in the paragraph that I cut out from the citation he mixes the Kurios with the Oikodespotes. Those different versions from other authors that he's rejecting were different concepts entirely.
³ See "The Daimon in Hellenistic Astrology: Origins and Influence" by Dorian Greenbaum.

pac and i’ll randomly assign you a deck ((and give my reasoning of course))

reminder: these are very general readings. messages can be picked from each pile and apply to you and your current situation. take what resonates, leave what doesn’t :)
this pac is a bit different from my usual ones but i hope you find it enjoyable nonetheless!
pile 1
why i think pile 1 would enjoy the dreaming way tarot by rome choi: this deck is one of my personal favorites! whenever i’m feeling disconnected from my divination practice, all i have to do is pick up my dreaming way deck and suddenly the light is back on! it’s a very soft yet realistic deck to me and i feel like it could work for just about anyone. it’s rws based but the art style is dreamy and feels perfect for some reason!
why the deck thinks it would work for you: two of wands! the two of wands represents choices and planning for the future. to me this is the decks way of saying that it will be a great tool for you to use to help you with decision making and planning ahead!

pile 2
why i think pile 2 would enjoy the mushroom spirit oracle by nicola mcintosh: this deck honestly surprised me when i first purchased it. i bought it on a whim at a metaphysical shop and had never heard of it before. it’s an oracle deck that packs a punch when you need it to but it can also be gentle in its approach! the art style is beautiful and simple yet very detailed and immersive.
why the deck thinks it would work for you: amanita (expanded awareness)! this card is all about seeing things from a different perspective and opening your eyes to what you previously haven’t seen! to me this card is the deck trying to lure you in, in the best way of course! take a chance on this deck if you’re drawn to oracle decks in particular!

pile 3
why i think pile 3 would enjoy the tarot of the magical forest by leo tang: this deck is a cute but quirky, and sometimes dark, deck that uses animals to connect you to whatever source you believe in! each suit is represented by an animal that shows up throughout all of the cards! the major arcana is a mixture of multiple animals and it’s just a fun and refreshing take on the traditional rws style deck.
why the deck thinks it would work for you: the sun reversed! the sun reversed can symbolize feeling pessimistic or lost in your ways. to me the deck is suggesting that it can help you feel optimistic about life again! it can help you get back on track and no longer feel lost in your ways!

if you’d like a more in depth reading i offer paid readings here!! i also have a tip jar if you’re feeling kind,, tips are not expected but they are very appreciated! any feedback is appreciated as well, i hope this reading was helpful to you in one way or another :)

Chapter Eleven: Triggers
As the months went on and Jason progressed in therapy, he started to sleep better. During this time, his training sessions with Barbara became more vigorous, and Barbara's faith in him often left her conflicted. She knew he deserved her trust, and she knew he was strong-willed and physically capable. She just wasn't willing to let him risk his life.
As they neared the first anniversary of his coming to live with them, she decided she had to give him a sign that she trusted him. He earned it. Jason did everything that was expected of him. He took every hit and read every book assigned to him with enthusiasm.
"Barbara, that supercomputer thing we're building—."
"Oracle," Barbara explained. Jason nodded as he fiddled with his anti-static bracelet. "And yeah?"
"Well, you said I'm too young to go on patrol with you. What if I stayed behind, and I helped you from behind a screen? What if I was your—?"
"Oracle?" Barbara asked. Jason bounced his head from side to side.
"Well, no. I'm not a girl. There's this guy in Greek mythology, Tiresias—."
"He was technically a woman for seven years," Barbara interrupted a second time, and Jason crossed his arms.
"Okay... Can I please finish?" Jason asked. Barbara covered up a grin and nodded. "He was a seer and could understand birds. I was thinking maybe I could run Oracle's pilot program... Please." Barbara took a deep breath. "Babs, please. You're leaving me. The least you can do is let me help you," Jason pleaded.
Barbara softened and took his bracelet off. "Come here," Barbara teared up as she embraced him, "I was gonna surprise you by letting you run the pilot program, but you didn't have to make me cry. You're the worst, you know that? I was gonna invite you to have dinner there sometimes and everything."
"You can't cook," Jason laughed through his tears as he started to cry as well.
"I was gonna order takeout," she replied as she pulled away and punched him in the shoulder. He laughed and wiped his tears away. "And I'm not leaving you. Dad's probably gonna make you stay the night at my apartment when he works nights which is almost all the time," Barbara explained.
"When are you gonna tell him?" Jason asked. Barbara shrugged.
"Did you hear what I told you?" Barbara asked. Jason blinked hard before embracing Barbara a second time, nearly knocking her over as he thanked her. "Easy," she laughed.
Jim came in the front door and greeted them in Barbara's doorway. "I'm just stopping in to grab my jacket, but it's looking like I'll be in the office late tonight. Saturday night in Gotham. You kids okay?" Jim asked. They both nodded.
Once Jim was gone, Barbara nudged Jason. "Test run tonight after dinner?" Barbara asked. A smile spread across Jason's face. "Also, what are we having for dinner, Bub?"
"We could order a pie?" Jason suggested. Barbara groaned. "What do you wanna eat then?"
"Burger and fries?" Barbara suggested. Jason made a face. "BBQ?"
"BBQ it is," Jason agreed.
They ordered dinner, and Jason lay on his back on her floor. Barbara lay next to him and stared at the ceiling. "How's therapy? I mean, do you like going?" Barbara asked.
"Yeah, I like Alisa... She's nice, and she lets me curse in sessions," Jason replied. Barbara chuckled.
"I'll give you a freebie since Dad isn't here. Give me your best potty mouth," she laughed.
"Fuck no," Jason joked. Barbara let out a screaming laugh. "It's not that funny," Jason covered his smile.
Barbara pinched his cheek. "It's just—. The way you said it," Barbara chuckled. Jason turned on his side towards her.
"I don't want things to change, Babs," Jason mumbled, "I want you to stay here. Just put it off a while longer."
"Jason, I'm not even gonna move that—."
"Please. I know it sounds stupid, but I really don't want you to go. Besides, it's not even set in stone yet. You haven't told Pop or anything," Jason pleaded. Barbara pushed his face aside playfully.
"Don't get all mushy on me, Jason," her voice revealed a hint of sadness. Jason got up and threw a pillow at her angrily, and slammed her door on the way out. "Jason, what did I—?" She opened her door and watched as Jason grabbed his jacket. "Where are you going?"
"Out," Jason grumbled as he shut the door on his way out.
She plopped down on the couch and pushed a hand through her hair. She waited a few hours for Jason to return, and when he didn't, she called Jim. "Dad?" Barbara asked.
"Hey, he's here. He came in an hour ago... What happened?" Jim asked.
Barbara stood up and paced back and forth. "Was he upset?" Barbara asked.
"Yelling and crying... But he tired himself out. What's wrong?" Jim asked. Barbara curled up on the couch and turned the tv on.
"Where else did he go? He's been gone four hours," Barbara thought to herself. "Dad, do you want me to come and get him?"
"No, it's okay. I'd rather know what happened," Jim replied.
Barbara sighed. "I was thinking about moving out. When he asked me to stay, I laughed at him. I didn't know it meant so much to him... But if it does, I won't—."
"You were planning on moving out?" Jim asked.
"Planning. I'm not going to if it's gonna be this big of an issue right now. I can put it off. Besides, it's not like I picked out a place or anything. It was just a thought," Barbara replied.
Jim sucked his teeth over the phone and sighed. "We'll talk about it later... But for now, Jason can sleep here in my office. I'm not mad," Jim whispered.
Once she hung up, she groaned and cursed. She didn't go out that night. All she could do is lie on the couch and wait for Jason and Jim to come home. She drifted off to sleep, only to wake to the sound of the door opening. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Jason, I'm sorry—."
He stormed past her and went straight to his room. She pushed a hand through her hair before getting up and following him. "Jason, let me—."
Jason swung his door open. "What?" Jason asked.
"Jason, I'm not gonna go anywhere. Okay? I love you, and I'm not leaving you. If you want me to stay here a little while longer, I will," Barbara reassured him, "But you have to tell me one thing. Where did you go before you went to Dad's office?"
"Nowhere—."
"Jason, where did you go?" her voice stern as she blocked him from leaving the conversation. Jason tried to shut the door in her face. "No. You were gone for four hours. What did you do for the other three?"
"None of your business," Jason whispered through clenched teeth. Barbara gestured for them to talk in his room, and she closed the door behind her.
"Jason, I get that whatever I did made you angry, but I have to know where you went—."
"I was with Bruce Wayne," Jason answered.
"Funny. Now, where were you?" Barbara asked. Jason rolled his eyes and plopped down on his bed.
"I was with Bruce Wayne, Barbara," Jason answered, "Bruce."
"Why were you with Bruce Wayne?" she asked, a little confused.
"I was at the cemetery with Bruce Wayne," Jason elaborated. He cocked his head and looked at her.
"I don't—." Jason lay back on his bed and pulled his pillow over his face. "Jason."
"Get out of my room," Jason replied.
"Wh—? I don't—."
"You and me, we're a team, right? You stood there, and you lied to my face despite knowing that I know now... It's one thing not to tell me, but it's another thing to lie to my face," Jason whispered. His face reddened as he spoke, and he took a deep breath. "You're no better than everyone else that's ever hurt me. You can have a secret. You can have tons of secrets. I don't care about any of it, but you just lied. What else do you lie about, Barbara?" Jason asked.
"Jason, I'm s—."
"Get out of my room," Jason mumbled. Barbara nodded and left the room.
Barbara slammed his door on her way out, and Jim poured himself a cup of coffee. "Well, did you apologize?" Jim asked.
"No, he didn't let me say anything," Barbara replied angrily.
"Give him his space for right now—."
"You're taking his side?" Barbara asked.
"No, I'm just saying that he's working through a lot, and if he's too mad to talk, we can't make him," Jim answered.
"But I bet he's talking to you," Barbara replied. Jim shrugged.
"He's not mad at me," Jim sipped his coffee. Barbara glared at him.

Possibilities for how Shiek is Zelda's full sibling, but she's unaware of him/her/them (idk what pronouns we're using for Shiek):
1) Shiek and Zelda are twins, but Shiek was initially thought to be stillborn. Somewhere in the group of people helping with the birth, there is a well-meaning but misguided advisor who believes twin heirs will cause complicated succession problems and is grateful for the stillborn child. When baby Shiek is revealed to be fully alive and well, the advisor kind of goes "oh shit. Well. They were only TRYING for one kid and now they THINK they only have one kid, there's no reason to raise this child as royalty and complicate the politics," and hands off the baby to be raised by someone else.
2) It was the Oracle of Fate meddling. Kidnapped/Relocated Baby Shiek and made it look like they were dead somehow so she had a convenient backup. Something like that.
3) Shiek is significantly older than Zelda and ran away to be a warrior either before she was born or when she was too little to remember.
4) Shiek is Zelda's secret illigetimate half sibling.
OKAY SO
I think 1 or 2 are the best options out of these. In 3 while Zelda wouldn't remember she would likely know about him, and 4..... I can't imagine her parents having any affairs.
I think 1 and 2 can be combined though it gives Septimus Heap vibes so I'm not going all in..... plus with the previous generation's whole thing of having siblings and it was a good thing because of backups if some shit happens...... You know I'm not thinking 'stillborn' so much as...
Okay thought process:
I mentioned before on how I was making NF!Zelda be half-Sheikah and I was gonna elaborate on her parents and what their story is and this might work in to that?
So to start:
Zelda's father is currently King, but he wasn't originally supposed to be. He was the younger of two Princes. Tetra's father is the older one. But he has since died. I'm thinking something more along the lines of illness or accident instead of anything like. Traumatizing to the family that would then be projected in protectiveness.
Either way he died before Zelda was born so more than 20 years ago, probably closer to 25. And since Tetra was only like 5 herself or something like that, Zelda's father was next in line and became King instead. (kind of a tossup on whether Zelda or Tetra is considered next in line because of this but like. Both prefer other jobs to being Queen so it's a 'we're tabling that for later' situation.)
Anyway:
Zelda's parents were..... not exactly a 'forbidden' romance but it had complications due to the fact that it's a Prince and Bodyguard situation. Like she was specifically assigned to accompany and protect him.
On his side he was like "Hey you are technically someone who works for me so starting a romance feels like taking advantage of you" and on her end it was "if I give in to these feelings it may interfere with my ability to do my job effectively".
So they refrained from officially being romantic. But also were together all the time and fell more in love and were /basically/ dating while also going 'well sure we go on what looks like a date because he'll go off on a picnic in the courtyard and she has to accompany him but we don't kiss so it's not dating haha...'
but ya know. That doesn't work and things happen and they hook up and are immediately like 'oh we should NOT have done that!!!" and resolve to never do that again!
But then this is also when the older brother dies and Zelda's dad goes from 'spare prince who can do whatever' to suddenly being King and taking over and it's. A lot.
And oh whoops. Pregnancy is a thing. But they're still in the 'we're not going to give in to romance' and are unmarried and focusing on the whole royal power shift and it's....
So even if they lie it'd be.... I mean showing up with a Sheikah/Hylian baby that happens to very clearly resemble the new King? Sus as hell. Bound to cause unrest.
And it is the Sheikah's duty to protect the Royal Family from any and all threats.
Which results in giving up the baby.
And what I'm thinking. Is that this might end up back with the Oracle of Fate. Of like. People back in ye olden days used to drop babies off at churches and monasteries and all that.
So Zelda's mom happening to pick an active Temple where the Oracle of Fate is Priestess, having just seen her worrying visions of what may come to pass and seeing this baby that was just dropped at her doorstep for what he Really Is™.......
Well surely that's a sign from the Goddess that she's supposed to do something about it, right?
Ofc eventually Zelda's parents did get together officially. Whether it there was an excuse to quit the job in favor of the romance or if it was an active decision is up in the air. But after a few years they do get married and then make Zelda.
I'm debating on if her dad knows about Sheik or not? He might not. But either way there is some thought to the child given up on occasion, but no one wants to really confront it or deal with it.

//ACCESS: RESTRICTED
DECRYPTION KEY: FVC8910D339$IKO-006
REP#: WHISPER-PORTAL, NESSUS-CORE
AGENT(S): POE-344
We solved a mystery today.

During the defense of the Last City just prior to the commencement of Operation Ahamkara, we reopened an old case file with the help of ERI-223. In looking back into the anomaly on Io, we encountered one glaring change; the displayed destination of the mysterious, lone Vex portal once surrounded by Oracles. Where once it opened onto the Vault of Glass, it now showed somewhere... Dark and unfamiliar. A line of violet light extended into the darkness. A single purple Oracle sat nearby.

We have discovered it led here, into the heart of Nessus. Into Maya Sundaresh's domain, her laboratory. Agents are encouraged to report further findings on Hidden channels.
REPORT ENDS — PLEASE EXIT TERMINAL
PLEASE ENTER CREDENTIALS
ACCESS GRANTED
DESIGNATION: HADAL
CLASSIFIED
FOR IKO-006 EYES ONLY
Ikora, I bring this to you in confidence and hopes that you will understand my thinking, though I do not fully understand it myself. I believe grander games may be afoot, and I fear we near the endpoint of a plan set in motion before we dare venture guess. This portal was only accessed via a small crevice in a wall far below normally accessible terrain. This crevice only appeared after a series of tasks within Sundaresh's lab were completed. These all related to Vex portals, connections, and access, and the conclusion of it all was to bring me back to where I started, where the portal now lie.

Attached are photographs collected by VIP #2014 showing abnormalities at the sites both leading to and surrounding the portal. Note the red organic substance on the ledge above the drop. Within the operational area, this substance appears only on this ledge. It can also be seen on the cliff faces adjacent to and leading to the portal's hall.

A black, tarry substance was also noted within the tunnel leading to the portal's hall. The ledge outside rests behind curtain of water (a common pre-Golden Age interactive fiction storytelling technique, I'm told by the Neomuna archivists), through which can be seen the Core Pyramid.

Within the portal's hall, there is a single, straight depression dividing the room in two down the middle. It is filled with Radiolaria and descends to the portal at an angle of approx. 25-30°. Similar depressions and Vex greebling branch from this central trunk. At the end of the line, the radiolaria surrounds the portal in pools of concentric circles.

I think on the Witness' design language, its logic trees we have so often seen. I have traced the lines as best I can in hopes we can rule this possibility out.

But another oddity appears here as well; Taken essence. The Taken are not loyal to Sundaresh—though the strength of will within the Echo of Command could draw them here. But I cannot help but think.... The Whisper. Worms. The Taken. Sundaresh. The Vex. It all leads one place.

On first exploration of the core, I noted to my fireteam the similarities in architecture, theme, and general meaning between it and Whisper—an emphasis on delving deeper, becoming lost, finding dead ends and trick paths. We have noted this in Exotic Assignments and Anomalies before, most recently during Operation Dual Destiny, but it is keenly felt here. The loops. The red light coaxing and the purple light leading. Eyes and outflow valves. Pathways that require one to double back, shift their perspective, look deeper to move forward.

And so I think back on the portal and I wonder—what have we missed? Does some transient whisperer already lie among us? What Taken thing has slithered out of its jar on our lost Io and into the core of Nessus?

Clarity in action, always. Signing off.

Unlocking Academic Success: The Advantages of Availing Oracle Help Services for Students
In the fast-paced world of academia, students often find themselves grappling with complex subjects, and Oracle is no exception. As one of the most widely used database management systems, Oracle poses unique challenges that can be daunting for students. Fortunately, there's a lifeline available – Oracle help services. In this blog post, we will delve into the myriad advantages of availing Oracle help services, especially for students seeking cost-effective solutions for their academic needs.
Understanding the Need:
Before we explore the benefits, let's comprehend the challenges that students face when dealing with Oracle assignments. Oracle, being a comprehensive database management system, demands a deep understanding of its intricacies. Students are often tasked with complex homework assignments that require not only theoretical knowledge but also practical application.
The Advantages of Availing Oracle Help Services:

One of the primary concerns for students is meeting assignment deadlines. Oracle help services prioritize timely delivery, helping students submit their homework on schedule and reducing the stress associated with looming deadlines.
Customized Solutions:
Each student is unique, and so are their learning needs. Oracle help services offer customized solutions tailored to individual requirements. This ensures that students receive assistance aligned with their current level of understanding and learning pace.
Enhanced Learning Experience:
Availing Oracle help services is not just about getting the homework done; it's about learning. These services provide a platform for students to grasp challenging concepts, fostering a deeper understanding of Oracle that extends beyond the confines of the assignment.

Improved Grades:
Ultimately, the goal of availing Oracle help services is to enhance academic performance. With expert guidance, timely submissions, and a deeper understanding of Oracle, students are well-positioned to achieve improved grades and excel in their coursework.
Choosing the Best and Affordable Oracle Help Service:
Given the multitude of Oracle help services available, students must navigate their options wisely. Here are some factors to consider when selecting the best and affordable service:
Reviews and Testimonials:
Look for reviews and testimonials from other students who have used the service. Positive feedback and success stories are indicators of a reliable and effective Oracle help service.
Expertise of Tutors:
Ensure that the service employs experienced and qualified tutors with a strong background in Oracle. The expertise of the tutors directly influences the quality of assistance provided.
Affordability and Transparency:
Compare pricing structures and ensure transparency in fees. Look for services that offer value for money without compromising on the quality of assistance.
Customer Support:
Evaluate the responsiveness of customer support. A reliable Oracle help service should offer prompt and effective communication channels to address any queries or concerns.
Guarantees and Refund Policies:
Check for guarantees and refund policies. A service confident in its ability to deliver quality assistance will often provide guarantees and a clear refund policy.
Conclusion:
Availing Oracle help services is a strategic move for students aiming to conquer the challenges posed by Oracle assignments. The advantages are manifold, ranging from expert guidance and timely submissions to customized learning experiences and affordability. As students seek the best and most cost-effective solutions, Oracle help services emerge as a beacon of support, unlocking the door to academic success.
Remember, the key to finding the right Oracle help service lies in thorough research, considering student reviews, evaluating tutor expertise, and ensuring transparent and affordable pricing. With the right assistance, students can not only overcome the hurdles of Oracle assignments but also embark on a journey of enhanced learning and academic achievement.
So, the next time you find yourself thinking, "Do my Oracle homework," consider the myriad advantages of availing Oracle help services, and take a step closer to academic excellence.

pso2 chess headcanons because i felt like it!!
this will contain a bit of spoilers so do finish episode 6 maybe -w-
okay so.
Afin: he's a beginner. he knows how the horse moves but if you throw an en passant on him he'll be very confused. leaves pawns and pieces hanging constantly. but he's a good sport about it! "Aw crikey, didn't see that one! Good game, mate!"
Matoi: okay so as klariskrays 2 she never had the time to play and even now after the defeat of the primordial darkness she never really has an interest in chess. however, she's not bad at it. her playstyle is very defensive and while necessary sacrifices have to be made sometimes if she can avert the taking of a piece or a pawn on her sideshe usually does.
Quna: like matoi, as zelsius quna AND an idol she never had the time to play but after the defeat of tpd i think she's probably taken it up as a hobby. and just like her former assignment as zelsius she's completely unassuming until she suddenly ICBMs your queen and there's nothing you can do about it.
Casra: okay he's actually taken the time to learn how to play chess. and he's good at it. he could win against anyone in the Oracle fleet with a bit of effort bar from anyone whose name starts with x. he's fancy and unconventional to stump players whenever he knows they can't handle it, but he's very defensive and by the book whenever he's playing against an actual competent opponent. CAN'T resist an en passant.
Zig: really good. picked up chess in his downtime. can hold a candle against casra. his philosophy while playing is that diamonds are formed under extreme heat and pressure and as such he's super offensive in his play. he breaks you down, so you can build yourself up. and if he finds the opponent survived his trial he's okay with... letting them win a bit. as a treat. especially does this with matoi. he's really good at blitz chess in particular.
Io: best girl BEST GIRL how does she perform?? pretty alright! but she breaks down easily whenever things don't go as she planned. she's very bold in her plays but whenever she's threatened she's internally screaming. probably taunts a little -w-
Pietro: failboy. does the bongcloud unironically because he genuinely doesn't know it's a bad opening. anytime he plays it's like a trainwreck that you can't look away from
Zeno: not that great. tried picking up chess after the defeat of tpd but never got the hang of it. at most he plays a casual match against echo or matoi but he's not that great.
Echo: comeback queen. she knows the openings, but her midgame is a little weak, however she's good at persisting after pieces are lost. probably won a few times against io after io took her queen and was SO assured of her victory
Risa and Hariette: do i even need to say it. risa would rather be shooting things than be playing chess but every game is HELLISH NIGHTMARE. she's more offensive than Zig and plays EXPLICITLY to see the doom in people's eyes as she trumps them at every aspect. and hariette? she knows this. and she helps. whenever hariette's in full control though she plays a good, clean, and strategic game on her own, and her decisionmaking skills really shine through. xiao's pleasantly surprised to see either of them play like this.
Pati: does not care for chess. but every time someone else plays she commentates and makes up random names for the attacks and gambits and defenses like "The Tyrell Defense, Rico Variation" and "The Flowen Gambit" to make it seem more exciting to people and to make herself seem smart until Tia calls her out on the nonsense.
Tia: actually knows alot of chess theory, but has very little practice. a pretty good commentator with quite a bit of insight however. can't help but backseat play a little though... until pati starts shouting about a "Kireek Method Attack" or something like that.
Melrandia: actually learnt chess from melfonseana, her sister, who probably won an arks chess championship one time. as for melrandia herself, she's also rather good but kinda shy about it. focuses alot on defense, and doesn't do anything fancy bar for a scholar's mate sometimes since that's the first thing melfonseana taught her. she pulled it against io once and she made her cry
Maria: she's pretty good. as non-CAST she picked it up as pastime whenever she's not busy, but nowadays she has little time for it. but when she plays, she's a menace. she especially strives in high-speed, high-stakes scenarios like blitz or bullet chess. she knows most of the good openings and knows how to make the best of them and carries that momentum all the way to endgame.
Regius: bold and brash when he first picked it up, but has since quenched it, and now as a CAST, he's just pretty good... but does like doing the more unconventional tactics sometimes. but against maria, he's super serious. he'll beat her one day.
Xion: beyond stockfish. any move she plays is the best in its situation. she has never lost a game. she will never lose a game. she knows everything about her opponent and WILL play the perfect game each and every time. she is a menace. cold. calculated. an utter destroyer. may the akashic records have mercy on your soul, since its librarian has none to spare ゴゴゴゴ
Xiao: almost on the same level as xion. but he's much less player as he is teacher. each game he plays he invites the opponent to improve. he lets them figure out their flaws, lets them improve on them, and then decimates them. often leads on casra into thinking he's winning against him before pulling the rug right under him
Xiera: cheater. she's decent but any time she's losing she taps into xiao and uses his processing power to completely decimate her opponent. she thinks she's sneaky about it but she really isn't. it's gotten so bad that xiao personally comes down to shame xiera each time she does this.
main character: lemme paint you a picture for this.
Xiao: "Oof, you lost a piece there..." MC: "..." Xiao: "Wait, it's the Timestream-- Stop! How far back are you trying to go?!" <AP 2XX, 10 seconds before> MC: "...So I castle instead." Xiao: "hhhh you cheater."
if any of you have more chess HCs esp. for characters i've missed (pso2 or ngs) please reblog and share them!!

all about francis

Intro Post—read more to learn about francis price!
Character Information
Francis Price enjoys vying for the hearts of beautiful women. This is his most fundamental quality. Though he would describe himself as an eager student and contented business leader (as he is being considered for a couple management positions for post-graduation), Francis is truthfully a romantic, and he behaves this way in person. His major at Redwood College is business, but he is strongly considering changing it to physics. He has taken classes in both and would rather graduate with the major he gains the most comfort from.
At nineteen years old, amiable Francis is a friend to whoever speaks with him. Whether he’s meeting with an economics professor or telling his fellow students what his most recent crush is, Francis enjoys connecting with fellow humans. This means that his assignments often take a back seat. Many a morning Francis has spent slapping words on paper in order to complete an essay or project. People are often jealous of both Francis’s privilege and Francis’s ability to succeed without trying. His privilege is one thing, but Francis is quick to explain that he genuinely loves his studies—he just doesn’t operate the same way as the average Redwood College student and can’t devote hours to something he would rather see lived out in his own world. He suspects he may have ADD. Though Francis may get along with most everyone, his rivals are the mysterious men in many of his female friends’ lives who hurt their feelings and leave Francis to pick up the pieces. He despises thoughtlessness.
Francis once fell in love with a lovely girl who sang enchantingly. This fellow thirteen-year-old, Sofia Bạch, was the love of Francis’s life…or so he thought at the time. Sofia moved away, and Francis has been searching for her via social media and fellow connections ever since. He’s fallen in love since that connection at thirteen, yet some part of him longs for the easy conversations with and inner beauty of the girl he once admired. He also likes people who are passionate about their friends, as well as people with the same romantic streak he has. Francis uses the pronouns he/him/they and wants his friends and new acquaintances to refer to him using the pronouns they like best, either he or they. Internally, he calls himself “he.”
Wanted Connections
a new spark—Francis desires a bond with every new woman he meets. If your character identifies as a woman, she may find herself in conversation with a band of students that Francis belongs to. Francis would love to get to know your character better in whatever situation she prefers.
an old spark—Francis has known quite a few wonderful women over the years. (Would you believe he’s never been in a relationship?) If your character knew Francis in high school or when he first entered Redwood College, he would want to reconnect sometime. Give Francis a text or call.
a good friend—Francis’s friends are worth more than gold to him. If your character evaluates Francis and finds a part of him that could use help or attention, he would value their views greatly and would love to spend time with your character.
Wanted Plots
school scuffle—Francis has ideas for the group project that was just assigned, but your character disagrees in a major way. Francis tries to explain his point of view, but your character sees that as immature when he already knows you’re not happy with the project. Francis and your character have a meeting one-on-one to figure the misunderstanding out.
business partner—Francis’s father, the powerful CEO of Regalia Bernard Price, is pressuring his son to open his own consulting firm in Redwood Hollow to gain experience for his future career. Francis may do this; but if your character is business-minded like the Price family is, Francis and your character could open something different.
animal lover—Francis has never had a pet, as much as he’s always wanted a chinchilla named Oracle. Your character is an experienced animal lover and tells Francis the insider secrets of owning an animal like theirs. Francis asks to come over to your place and get to know the animal in question. Your character can agree or just bring the animal to Francis.
Taken Connections
first love—Francis’s first crush and “the one that got away” is Sofia Bạch. He remembers how genuine and thoughtful Sofia always was with him, and he is always thinking of ways to reconnect with her.
doesn’t like me—Francis can think of one person who would never, ever want him near her: Guinevere Bạch, or his former friend Sofia’s stepmother. Guinevere acted cold when Francis was warm; that’s why Francis knows she would hate meeting him now that he’s grown. If she would willingly drive him away from Sofia’s house like that, she would despise the type of person he’s become: a man who always offers to come to you, not the other way around. Guinevere would tell Francis exactly what she thought of him if they met again, he’s positive.
Other
Wanted Character: Eric Parker—This dream-oriented young man would get on with Francis. I would love for Eric to encourage Francis in his own dreams, as far from the world of business as they might end up being.
Wanted Bio: Asha—Of all the Disney women, Asha stands out as a person who would change Francis for the greater good. Her strong ideals and dogged perseverance would greatly complement Francis’s willingness to support any woman’s beliefs however he can.

It's that time again where I try making an AU of two different things I really like. This time, it's the QSMP and the Owl House. It's rambling time 🏃
Firstly; this'll mainly be focused around Phil, Chayanne, Tallulah, and sorta Missa and Wilbur (they last two are both gone so much orz god damn), as I mainly watch Phil's streams and don't know if I could do the other Eggs or islanders justice.
Secondly; I was a lil' mixed about how to incorporate the Eggs into the AU. As on one hand, it would be fun to have them be lil' Titan kids. While on the other hand, they could also be just straight up orphans that gets assigned some witches to take care of them + teach them magic outside of school.
Now, to begin with, Phil is obviously a wild magic witch. He straight up has that Bad Girl Coven vibe, and no one can convince me otherwise. Also, his palisman would ofc be a crow. And as an extra side note to give a lil' angst; Phil having the curse- like Eda and Lilith has- but does his best to hide it from everyone. Sadly, that gets hard to control during the "kids are missing" arc :)
As for Missa, I could potentially see them as either maining Oracle, Potions, and/or Abomination magic. Although, a nice lil' idea could be Missa maining Potions magic, gets paired up with Phil to take care of Chayanne, learns after a bit from Phil that he has that curse, and then Missa does all he can to learn that specific elixir he needs and make as many of it for Phil as he can. His palisman could potentially be a cat that's perhaps themed around (or just straight up is made out of) skulls/bones.
Obviously, Wilbur would be maining Bard magic, and his palisman would be some sort of bird (like maybe a magpie, or some sort of parrot, or something. Not sure yet, but he definitely made his palisman with the help of Phil). If we go down the route that the Eggs are [witch] orphans instead of Titan kids, I could see Wilbur trying to learn Plant magic due to Tallulah.
Speaking of which, if we go down the route I wrote about above, then Tallulah would first be maining Bard magic, then Plant magic, and lastly Beast Keeping magic. Her palisman could be something like a hummingbird.
And lastly, Chayanne would obviously try being like Phil and do all sorts of wild magic. But after the nightmare incident, he would try maining Healing magic and either Plant, Construction or Abomination magic for a while. For his palisman, I'm a little unsure. My brain's going between him having a lil' griffin ('cause mix of a cat and a bird), to some sort of bird breed, to him carving an egg (like Luz) and letting the palisman choose what they're going to be.
That's about it for my thoughts on this AU atm. Not sure if I'll do anything with it, just wanted to write about it I guess :'>

Database Management Assignment Help
Database Management is a serious computer science, IT, and data subject that educates students on storing, organizing, and managing information. Database management assignments in themselves are not quite easy. Therefore, here is The Tutors Help to assist you through the best support.
What Is Database Management?
Database Management is the art of processing information using a computer program in the form of a Database Management System (DBMS). Database Management is the skill of storing data, retrieving data, maintaining records, and having plenty of data at your fingertips and secure.
MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL are some of the most popular DBMS packages. They are used in everyday business, applications, and websites to store customer information, sales information, and other information.
Why Database Management Assignments Are Challenging
Database assignments are always challenging for students. Some of the frequent problems are as follows:
Ambiguous Queries: SQL queries are difficult to code, especially for JOINs, subqueries, or functions.
Normalization: Concepts of database normalization are abstract to study and apply in order to avoid redundancy and design data.
ER Diagrams: To design Entity-Relationship diagrams to show interaction between employees between data entities, a practice and thinking process is needed.
Theory and Practice: Theory cannot be taught; it has to be applied in real problems, and for that purpose, practice and time are necessary.
Time Management: It becomes difficult for the students to maintain a time sheet for assignments and other classes and subjects.
