Last night while Matt was sleeping, I was thinking about all the waiting.

Waiting on the court case

Waiting a week for the food pantry

Waiting on income tax return

Waiting on 401k loan

Waiting on doctors for Matt

Wait...wait...wait...

Not out of desperation, or pleading, begging or demanding but with a quiet sigh, "God, please give me something to work with". 🙏🙏🙏

I went to bed listening to this again, as I have been many nights.

Listening consciously and subconsciously.

Then Matt woke after sleeping most of the day away in pain and anxiety and I sat up with him for a few minutes.

I checked the bank at 11pm, to ensure I had enough funds to cover Matt's truck registration and the 401k money was in the bank. 😲

Unheard of. I had checked the bank at maybe 7pm, being OCD or just double checking, and those funds weren't there.

Our bank only updates at 3am or 4am in the morning.

The funds were in there after 3 days, when they said it would take 6 days.

I assumed 6 business days, as it was in the past when we borrowed against the 401k previously.

So here I am on the 4th day, paying all our bills with $300 left for food.

Hallelujah, Amen! 👐👐👐

Hey, everyone. I just wanted to take this moment to give thanks to the Lord, as well as thank all the genuine friends I made here on Tumblr. As many of you know, I've had quite a few struggles IRL, and there things taking place on Tumblr that just made things worse. But God is turning things around, and even did the impossible in order to fix things. Yeah, there's still some struggles here and there, but God is making things better. I wanted to show him my gratitude, and I felt this song was very appropriate for that.

Again, to all my genuine friends who have been there for me, I thank you so much. If it weren't for you, I'd have deleted this account ages ago because it brought me nothing but sorrow. Role-playing is fun, but only when it's with real friends like you. I pray God blesses all of you greatly and shows you all how much I appreciate you.
