Help Save My Cousin's Life 💜

My 25 y/o cousin Line, known as @nebulow online, needs for surgery for Craniocervical Instability (CCI). This is her last resort as she's been deteriorating fast. She's also diagnosed with Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (CMD), which will kill her if her CCI isn't treated.

my best friend layla made a gofundme for her boyfriend, who suffers from very severe me/cfs (myalgic encephalomyelitis / chronic fatigue syndrome) and cci (craniocervical instability).

because of these illnesses, he might die. only two doctors in europe do surgery on me/cfs patients, who also suffer from cci, and they are located in spain. he will have to pay a special flight from italy, somewhere to stay and the surgery itself, and none of that is covered by insurance.

he is suffering so much. layla listed a few of his symptoms in his gofundme already, but the only thing he can (or is forced to) do is lie in a dark room with no stimuli AT ALL. no music, no light, no touch, not even being on the phone for too long, accompanied with tons of physical suffering as in pain or seizure-like symptoms. his suffering is not imaginable for people who don‘t have very severe me/cfs.

Episode 2: The Stranger on the Roof

Welcome once again to CandleCove Island. I decided against adding more characters this time because Milo, Horace, and Skin-Taker haven't really met anyone yet, and I wanted to give them time to acclimate to their new environment. But I'm glad I didn't because I have the feeling a particular friendship wouldn't have formed if I did....

FRIENDSHIP

Poppy made friends with Horace.

Percy made friends with Skin-Taker.

Skin-Taker made friends with Horace.

Skin-Taker made friends with Janice.

Percy and Poppy had a minor fight (about what, I don't know), but they worked it out.

Skin-Taker made friends with Poppy, and not only that, but 2 minutes after they met, they became best friends.

Let's see how long this lasts.

FOOD

Janice and Horace had some very specific cravings that day.

I couldn't actually give them those foods because the food store just opened and it only has about 20 items in stock total, so instead I gave Janice popcorn (which she didn't like) and Horace octopus (which he did like).

Speaking of being picky...

CLOTHING

Wh... "jewel dress"??

Buddy. This is THE most expensive clothing item in the game. Who do you think I am? (He didn't even ask nicely, geez!)

I did give him a different dress, but he wasn't quite satisfied with it.

Maybe he wanted to show off to other pirates how much jewels and treasure he has? I don't know.

Janice, Horace, and Skin-Taker also asked for clothes, and I figured I'd give Poppy and Milo something as well so they wouldn't have to keep wearing the default clothes.

EVERYTHING ELSE

Milo asked for an interior, so I got him one.

I don't think it suits him that well (it looks way too clean and stylish), but the interior store didn't have a lot of selection.

Also, I unfortunately can't change Horace's and Skin-Taker's hellish checkerboard interiors because I haven't made that much money in this game yet. Milo's interior alone cost me half my savings.

I gave Skin-Taker this thing called a "rent-a-cat coupon," so now a cat will come visit him sometimes.

I also gave Milo a punching bag so he could have a healthy outlet for his violent tendencies.

Also, I don't have video evidence of this, but please believe me when I say Milo farted LOUDLY, MULTIPLE TIMES while I was scrolling through the apartments. He disgusts me.

I gave Horace and Skin-Taker catchphrases.

Everyone wanted to take baths that day for some reason? And asking me to give them bath sets?

Probably because of Milo's farty ass stinking up the apartment building and making everyone want to wash the smell off themselves...

Janice tried to sell me some octopus.

Milo had a strange experience that day...

also, we are still needing donations for another spinal surgery that is inevitable because the condition is progressive. no fucking doctor in this country wants to evaluate me again and i want to see THE expert for this who happens to be in the US. but we need money for this.

Growing up watching House and then ending up having EDS, MCAS, POTS, CCI, IBS, GD and waiting until age 33 to have a doctor with enough expertise to even answer basic questions, and lots of the useless ones were also assholes, I'm just like...yeah I'd put up with House to get actual fucking answers.

The last few times I went to the ER I had high hemoglobin and hematocrit. Last guy scared me that it could be a blood disorder. But after this long I know to at least Google my zebra shit before panicking.

Looked it up. It's a normal symptom of MCAS and POTS and also if just basic dehydration and the last time I went I was so dehydrated and POTS-y I had passed out three times in two days.

I realize that this medicine is being written as I experience it but I'm kinda over that 😂😂😂

My cousin is in need of help

So this is very different than what I usually post, but my cousin is very ill and needs money for a surgery. While we live in Denmark (yay health care) the operation she needs is unfortunately not availably in our country and she'll have to pay for it herself.

She needs surgery for Craniocervical Instability (CCI). Right now she's unable to do pretty much anything, but lay in a dark and quite room. Her GoFundMe explains better than I can.

I've chosen to share her fundraiser here, in the hopes that anybody who can, and wants to, will help, either by donating or sharing the link.

Now I completely understands that this is asking for a lot! And that not everybody has the means to just give money to a stranger, as somebody without an income myself I stand in just that position. (I'm of course donating to my own cousin, tho)

After reviewing over 1,000 charts, I have found some good setups for the week. These were selected and should be viewed in the context of the broad Market Macro picture reviewed Friday which with the first week of September in the books, saw equity markets revert to weakness, trending lower all week.

Elsewhere look for Gold to continue its uptrend while Crude Oil continues to move lower. The US Dollar Index continues in broad consolidation while US Treasuries show signs of a possible new uptrend. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue the downtrend while Emerging Markets drop back into a short term downtrend.

The Volatility Index looks to shift from low and stable to low and rising making the path more difficult for equity markets. Their charts look weak om the shorter time frame as price pulls back from a lower high, but they remain above making a lower low for now. On the longer timeframe they look stronger, but vulnerable with the SPY strongest then the IWM and the QQQ the weakest. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.
