my quibbles with wot on prime are almost always fairly small things so here's my one for last week: if they were changing the choedan kal and in the process making up a new sa'angreal, why didn't they make it more interesting?

it doesn't even have the minimal charm of normal angreal from the books being 'the little fat man' or Cads' cool hairpieces or something, let alone the kind of artisanship i would expect from the most powerful sa'angreal ever made for saidar. those AoL angreal craftsmen were so extra, so dedicated to beauty, the most powerful male sa'angreal is a crystal sword (that is not a sword) and the girl version is just a sphere?? that's so fucking boring!!
