I finished the Doctrine Book-bag for my Lamb cosplay! I think jt turned out pretty well, I used black foam clay for the edges and was going to carve them when dried, but I actaully?? Really like the goopy unclean look so I might keep it

I might still carve it idk, and maybe replace the strap with a chain for the whole theme

I know the Doctrine is a book in game and usually as a prop but I need something to hold my phone and wallet in easy access for when we scour the artist alley, so this idea came to be. Now it can hold my stuff AND it's in character!

I also recycled a cardboard box to put my cosplay in, made it look COTL specific:

the atla cosplay seemed to be a hit so here's another with @lunarstar-fell. I don't really want to compile them into one post because I feel like there will be some that get lost in there but I have like six more solid ones so if they keep going places I'll keep churning them out.

I’m rambling about cosplay again and you have to deal with it.

Obviously I’m changing and adding a few things because why not.im just using what I can find

So thankfully I don’t have to make the gauntlet. I’m just gonna go for these instead

The skull hand thingy is just extras for me. I want something on the back of my hands

My friends said to beat up a hat. I’m gonna try to fuck this one up a bit with a heat gun and put some feathers on it

And of course the jacket. Another sewing project just for the sleeves.

FInally had the chance to revamp my Obelisk Blue Manjoume cosplay! This time, with the wig and getting new cards to add into his duel disk, along with some minor changes on the outfit! I started wig styling thanks to this gremlin and he's my pride and joy!

It's pretty rare to see YGO cosplayers in my country, or people who still like the series to this day. But I'm happy that they recognized my cosplay - I took more photos than I expected <3

i need some advice!! i’ll pop some reference pictures in here:

how do i start to pattern out some sleeves similar to the ones on this dress? i won’t lie- i am taking the easy way out and constructing the bodice over an old already made corset i have laying around and have everything ready expect for the sleeves and the gold trimming around the top! i don’t have any similar sleeve patterns and i have the worst time making my own, what could i do to make this easier on myself?!

Yup yup! I made the tattoo with temporary tattoo paper you get from craft stores! I got mine from Joann’s, and basically you print whatever design you want backwards onto it, cut it out, and then apply as you would normally for a temporary tattoo. However, the only catch is that the paper requires an inkjet printer, or else the ink will smear. The tattoo lasts pretty much just for one day, and you can remove it with rubbing alcohol or baby oil. You can get it here!

That is all I said to him when I went to take this pic, bc we had to be quick and I had spoken to him the same day and the other days before when I was cosplaying Kuwei.

For a second he thought I wanted him to fix smth on his collar bc I pointed at mine before finishing the sentence but he got it quick as usual, did the pose and when we were done he gave me a sly acknowledging smile going "That was good." cause I did just ask as if I would have asked anyone else for a favor just with a little nod to my voice. I love how it turned out, I could totally see a scene like that happening in universe XD

I wanted to go for untwisting the backpack strap first of fixing the collar but figured both would look awkward on photo and I think I made the right decision going with this version.
