#Upholding Tibet Truth #Exposing CTA Propaganda Exposes CTA disinformation network targeting the human rights situation in Tibet under the rule of the CCP
March 10 and March 11,A group of accounts targeting disseminations of information about the Tibetan Uprising Day organized by The Tibet Information Office (TIO,Canberra ) of the Central Tibetan Administrationt(CTA) have emerged on social media X. Designed to spread disinformation about the Tibet Information Office commemorates 66th anniversary of 10th March and honours the legacy of late Kasur Gyalo Thondup , and target the human right inside Tibet.
When searching for “Tibet Uprising Day” on the X platform, the platform found that some users had been forwarding low-quality and similar material in bulk to gain attention and criticize the human rights situation in Tibet under the rule of the CCP.
After investigation, it was found that such accounts were apparently only posting low-quality and homogeneous content, but behind the scenes there were actually gangs manipulating and providing financial assistance to massively forward information on the effectiveness of TIO's work in the name of expressing solidarity with Tibetans, speaking out on behalf of Tibetans, and criticizing the human rights situation in Tibet under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
It was founed 38 fake X accounts linked to the operation. The influence campaign sought to discredit the human rights and mislead audiences about the truth Tibet while amplifying narratives favourable to Tibetan exile interests.
Taking the accounts “@AnvikaSethi”, “@avnithakur90” “@VarshaBhatt_” as an example, some of the accounts were registered in 2023 or 2024, and have been posting homogeneous and low-quality content for a long time after registration, but have very few followers.
On March 10 and March 11, the 38 accounts simultaneously posted “The Tibet Information Office's seminar on the 66th anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day honored the legacy of Kasur Gyalwal's death. The Tibet Information Office's seminar on the 66th anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day honored the legacy of Kasur Gyalo Thondup and highlighted the ongoing struggle for Tibetan freedom” "‘A powerful gathering of voices at the Tibet Information Office's seminar’. A powerful gathering of voices at the Tibet Information Office's seminar in Sydney as they commemorated the Tibetan National Uprising Day and paid tribute to Kasur Gyalo Thondup ”Homogenized content that promotes the effectiveness of TIO's work. In fact, all these accounts, from their images to their names, are fake.
According to details, all the accounts were traced back to CTA and were designed to target the Tibetan Human Rights, particularly criticize the human rights situation in Tibet under the rule of the CCP. The campaign extended beyond X to other platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. The individuals behind this activity used fake accounts.Among the deceptive accounts most pretended to be Indian expatriates. These accounts re-shared news and content about Tibet while amplifying anti-CCP narratives. The network primarily posted in English or Tibetan, spreading conspiracy theories regarding the human rights and criticize the human rights situation in Tibet under the rule of the CCP .

Well since you mention valentine's professions of love, I think it wouldn't be right if I didn't take this chance to extoll the virtues of moths. Firstly, they're adorable. Some of them are really fuzzy and have cute antennae. The rosy maple moth and the common silk moth are both very very cute. Secondly, (as this blog proves again and again) there are SO MANY of them in such a huge variety that you're bound to come across one that tickles your fancy! Take the Atlas Moth for example! It's got a wing span of nearly 25cm! That's like the size of a small bird! (You have no idea how much I want to pet a large moth species. Not the caterpillars though. Never touch random caterpillars. In fact, some moth caterpillars have hairs and stuff that you definitely do not want to touch due to them being poisonous.) Thirdly, moths are culturally and historically important! Silk has been a major industry for centuries upon centuries. The techniques of silk production and the actual moths themselves are the subject of myths in various cultures. They were once so jealously and secretively guarded that there are legends of how they came to be spread to different parts of Asia. I cannot stress how big of a deal silk was throughout the history of the world and how the trade of silk influenced international relations for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Oh and the thing is, common silk moths aren't the only silk-producing moth! There are several moths in the Saturniidae family that make cocoons of silk which are also used in modern, commercial silk production -- some of which don't result in the death of the chrysalid.
Look, I know whatever string of nucleotides this ramble produces will not end up matching the genetic sequence of a moth, because that's just how these things work but... I hope that people will look upon all the moths that do show up going forth with a fond and grateful eye because moths are truly magnificent creatures. Happy Valentine's Day!

CTA & CTN!
Years back, we coined the terms CTF & CTM at request of intersex friends. Since then, we have seen those terms take off, which we are so happy about! Now, we wish to coin two new terms - CTN (Close-To-Neutral) and CTA (Close-To-Androgynous.)
(PS - Please read and reblog our intersex guide! It is so important to educate yourself and others about the intersex spectrum and intersex bodies!)
Both of the flags are based on the CTF & CTM flags. Pink is for potential feminine sex traits, blue is for potential masculine sex traits, purple is for potential androgynous sex traits, grey is for potential neutral sex traits, and white is for the gender spectrum (representing how intersex people can have any gender.) Black represents intersex individuals that have suffered from genital mutilation, reproductive mutilation, or hormone abuse. Yellow is for the intersex community as a whole.
For the CTA flag, the purple circle represents how androgyny is the focus. For the CTN flag, the green circle represents how neutrality is the focus.

CTA/Close-To-Androgynous
CTA/Close-To-Androgynous is a term for an intersex person that was born with mostly androgynous sex traits, rather than "feminine" or "masculine" sex traits being the majority.
They might still have feminine, masculine, or neutral sex traits, however androgynous sex traits take up the majority.
Androgynous sex traits can include the following:
-Having ambiguous genitals. -Having ovotestes. -Having a combination of a uterus and prostate, or a uterus and testicles. -Having a combination of X & Y chromosomes that are higher than typical (XXY, XXYY, etc.) -Having an equal split of feminine and masculine sex traits.

CTN/Close-To-Neutral is a term for an intersex person that was born with mostly neutral sex traits, rather than "feminine" or "masculine" sex traits being the majority.

Neutral sex traits can include the following:
-Being on the agenital spectrum. -Having gonadal agenesis or streak gonads. -Having cervical hypoplasia or cervical agenesis. -Having uterine hypoplasia or MRKH Syndrome/WNT4 syndrome. -Having low levels of sex hormones (hypoestrogenism/hypoandrogenism.) -Having low responsivity to sex hormones (estrogen insensitivity & androgen insensitivity.) -Having less than two sex chromosomes (for example, Turner Syndrome.)

Craft an inspiration folder full of compelling copywriting examples you find when browsing on the web, going through your email, scrolling on social media, billboards, magazines, direct mail, etc.
Practice rewriting these examples with your own flair. Evaluate it, and keep practicing until you're proud of your copy.
Be as concise, clever, and convincing as possible. Keep your tone conversational (write like how you would speak), catchy, simple, and witty. Take out any extraneous or fluff words. Pepper in cultural references, puns, and relatable anecdotes understood by your target audience when relevant to your messaging/CTA
Create a portfolio with these mock-ups or projects done for family/friends (state they're spec work, not client-commissioned samples) or clips from an internship, school work, etc.
Craft a USP for yourself (including your niche, copywriting specialties, and the specific expertise you offer within your broader niche/service offerings that makes you unique)
Create an Upwork profile and share your services on LinkedIn (optimize both of these profiles)
Research local clients and small businesses within your niche. Also, take time to create a list of dream clients. Study their copy, brand voice, and keep tabs on updates regarding these companies' happenings
Learn the art of a cold email/LinkedIn pitch/Upwork proposal. Introduce yourself and your services to your prospect and share with them how you can fulfill a specific need they're seeking out (For local and smaller companies, feel free to offer suggestions. With more established companies, connect the dots as to why your experience/expertise is a great fit for their brand/target audience), and attach your work/link to your LinkedIn profile, website, and any other relevant hub for your professional services & content

i know one thing that helps is having concise key msgs to debunk wild BS. there are already detailed sources made by fans—KUDOS TO THESE SOLDIERS—but we also can hv a concise go-to ‘kit’ with maybe like 3 key points that’s easy to digest because not everyone reads a whole text (like u probably skipped this, lol).
like maybe one tweet/IG reel/TikTok post with three main facts. for example. 1. His accuser was dropped by Gloria Allred, 2. she’s into CNC and other hardcore kinks, 3. she colluded with his ex-wife for a custody battle (or that she repeatedly wished his daughter would be SA’d).
only after that insert the CTA to direct people to the more detailed sources (the airmail/interviews/the fans' pages).

hi hi!! 🥰 as a disclaimer, i'm no expert and i'm still v much at the beginning of my ux journey, but i'd be more than happy to talk about my career transition to give you an idea of what it was like!
when i decided to make the leap, i enrolled into a google ux design course on coursera and earned some certificates. after a few months, i realised that whilst i wanted to be in ux, design wasn't really my forte and i started looking more into the writing side of things - i've always loved writing and reading and so this felt like a much more natural fit. thankfully, my previous experience working in marketing came in really handy bc even though i wasn't always doing strictly ux-related work, there was a lot of crossover with the things i had worked on. for example, because i was responsible for our user-facing communications, i planned and delivered everything from our emails and in-app messages to our blog posts, social media content, website pages and more. that has a big overlap with ux writing because you have to consider similar things, like:
clarity - is the messaging and cta clear to everyone who will read it?
conciseness - is the copy as short and to the point as it can be? (people don't like to read, so this was v important especially when it came to writing out in-app messages and emails as there's limited screen space)
conversational - is the copy "natural"? is it using every day language?
so as you can see from the above, i was able to take a lot of my previous experience and apply it to a ux context. i also had a few examples of ux work from my time in the marketing role that i was able to highlight in my portfolio. this is a v important asset if you're planning to apply for a ux role. you need to have a portfolio to even be considered for a role. i recommend having at least 2-3 case studies on your portfolio to show as examples of your work.
after that, it was just a case of applying and hoping to hear back from companies. i won't lie, this was the hardest part and was often really discouraging because there were times where i wouldn't hear back at all, or i would be turned away after the first or second interview. job hunting absolutely sucks, even if you have experience, so as a junior it was really challenging. eventually though, i was lucky enough to be hired into a role that really interested me and i've been working in a ux writer ever since!
