Hey just putting this out there, I refuse to switch to windows 11. Just curious if anyone who follows me has any information or resources for switching over to a Linux based operating system.

The first part of some class swap ideas I had — Dunamancy cleric Essek and Somnovem warlock Molly! Essek's healing revolves around reversing time on specific wounds so they never happened in the first place. And Molly's patron is a combination of Lucien and the Somnovem, and he leans heavily into spells like dissonant whispers.

The day has finally come for me to post a Cad Bane doodle! ...well, two.

I didn't finish these all in one go and actually took a few days to finish both (Because I can only focus on something for so long and keep getting sidetracked until like 1 am) but I'm happy enough with them now so I thought I'd share them!

I used references since I'm trying to get better at drawing Bane and improve my art in general but they were more like a guide than anything since I don't like having to rely on refs entirely. I usually try to go without using refs but they were kinda necessary for this 🥲 (Not that using refs is bad, they're life savers! I just prefer trying to learn on my own)

Anyways I think it might be obvious TBB Bane is my favorite Bane... I hope y'all enjoy the doodles :)))

finally read the beau tmn origins comic and i didnt like it very much T_T .. .. like it was fine . too short as per usuall (also i never like the very generic designs for the panels/speech bubbles/sound effects in any of these but whatever). anyway , choosing to focus on this wine selling scheme instead of the cobalt soul at all was weird, especially because it's so short. and also without knowledge of cr2 to back it up i feel like you cant even particularly tell that beau's dad is abusive until he's suddenly having her kidnapped. (tho i did like that they kept her mum's characterisation of being so passive abt it all. like beau actively asking her for help and her just saying nothing in return. heart breaking). i just think also the art wasn't very good. beau didn't look like beau, the faces would kind of melt, some of the line art seemed both stiff and clumsy at once , and that stamp brush for the entirety of the vineyards was wild to me. in a professionally published book.. the characters would just be laid overtop of it too, not even walking behind the rows of vines 😭

YRSA (my Star Wars OC) ⚙️

Let me introduce you to my OC in the Star Wars universe! She is Yrsa, a curious young engineer girl, who deeply resonates with nature and machines. About her tale in a nutshell: As a young child, Yrsa lived in a workshop and was surrounded by all kinds of mechanisms and gadgets, learning a lot of the necessary robotics from her father, who was an ambitious engineer. Later they had to flee their home from the wrath of the empire and crashed on an uninhabited planet while escaping. Yrsa was left alone at a very young age and was stranded there. She befriended in the woods with her animal companion, Cog, the acklay. Many years later, Cad Bane turns her life upside down, when he is sent after her to capture the girl. In her future Yrsa must leave her beloved forest and will live on Lower Coruscant, as an outcast traveling engineer. After the wilderness, she'll have to survive in the urban jungle. During her journey she'll even cross her path with an unexpected new ally, who comes from the shadows in a shroud of mystery... 😎 Then the little lady's life will again reach a turning point.

Want to build your own Piano Coat Rack?

I put together some plans for the Piano Coat Rack so that if anyone else wants to try to make one they have a starting point. I ended up putting them on itch.io for free since tumblr doesn't really like PDFs or zip files. The plans are free for non-commercial use. I also have a section describing some of the process to hopefully make it fairly easy to replicate.

I put these plans together in FreeCad, so along with a PDF version of the technical drawings there are also full 3D models that you can use to get a better understanding of how it goes together. If you notice any oddities or mistakes or have any question please just me up!
