Does anyone have the bootleg of Spamalot (2005) and I’m also looking for The Prom thats not the 2016 version I really want the closing night version but any one you have is great!
God, I so envy people who have the once in a lifetime opportunity to go and watch Broadway musicals...
*sigh*
Watching the best version of "The Prom" or "Dear Evan Hansen" live on stage, whereas mortal commoners like me have to torture themselves with the mediocre cinema or streaming versions...
youtube
Maybe someday I'll be there... I'll dance...when we
Build a prom for everyone
Show them all it can be done
If music blares and no one cares
Who your unruly heart loves
Build it now
Make people see how the world could one day be
It might come true if we take a chance
But 'til that day comes
I say cue the drums
It's time to dance!
🎶🎵💃🏻🕺🏻🪩🌈🏳️🌈
...until then I'll be just standing on the side and be waving through a window...
youtube
On the outside, always looking in
Will I ever be more than I've always been?
'Cause I'm tap, tap, tapping on the glass
I'm waving through a window
I try to speak, but nobody can hear
So I wait around for an answer to appear
While I'm watch, watch, watching people pass
I'm waving through a window, oh
Can anybody see, is anybody waving back at me?
Let's meet our newest Princess in "Disney Princess - The Concert", Izzy McCalla. (aka Isabelle).
In 2019 Izzy sat down for an interview with @broadwaycom's Paul Wontorek and Caitlin Moynihan on #LiveatFive. Izzy spoke about starring on Broadway as Princess Jasmine (Aladdin), and alongside Caitlin Kinnunen in The Prom when Izzy played Alyssa Greene. She also spoke about dream roles (psss...please bring Miss Congeniality to Broadway). I loved this clip of when she spoke a bit about her dream role of Sally Bowles in "Cabaret".
this is everything i currently have available (updated 06/18/24). if you have anything to trade i generally prefer that but i am open to gifting any of the titles that are not starred! as a rule, if no cast is listed or only some members are listed, that means that i do not know the cast but i am happy to send a screenshot if you would like (and if anyone is interested in helping me identify unknown casts or dates of any files, let me know!).
green = video, pink = audio, starred = trade or donations only

So, yknow how there's those extremely underrated winx stage musicals in the early 2000s in Italy and The Netherlands? What if we brought a production over to broadway? WELL, i've combined my winx fan braincell and my theatre kid braincell and created a casting. HERE YA GO HERES THE GORLS! (the boys will come later)
Bloom: Mallory Maedke
Mallory's mostly well known for being an alternate and the dance captain for the North American premiere (Chicago, Edmonton, Cambridge, and St. Paul) and Broadway production of Six the Musical. She has such an amazing voice that I feel like she could kill whatever material is in the show, both acting and singing material. Her dancing? Amazing. She was the dance captain for a reason.

Stella: Stephanie Styles
Stephanie's credits include: Katherine in the national tour of Newsies and Lois Lane/Bianca in the 2019 Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate, and Autumn on Zoey's Extrodinary Playlist. Her character has been described as having an "adorable flower child meets young Kristin Chenoweth vibe" and if that doesn't describe Stella perfectly? In everything I've seen her in, she just radiates stella energy.

I was tagged by @superflytrap to pick out 5 songs I currently listen to and love!
If I'm Being Honest - Dodie:
Dodie is one of my favorite artists ever, listening to her music always calms me down
Unruly Heart - Caitlin Kinnunen:
I recently saw my university's musical group perform 'The Prom', which was an experience (I was crying half of the time, hearing the songs live on stage hits so much harder than the Netflix movie they made)
Lateniteaha - Fewjar:
Fewjar is this German Indie Band with a fanbase of like, 10 people, but I love them, I'm going to see them in concert next month :)
Antipatriarca - Ana Tijoux
One of the songs I always listen to when I'm mad and/or need energy (or want to smash the patriarchy; you know.. normal stuff)
Come on Eileen - Dexys Midnight Runners
Because it wouldn't be me if there wasn't a song from at least 30 years ago on this list.
I'm tagging @thestarlitnights @merth-or-nothin @the-viola-urge-to-be-cesario and everyone else who likes to join :)
