Summary:

Son Son is Capcom's tribute to a Chinese legend called Xiyou Ji, meaning 'Journey to the West', considered to be one of the four classic pieces of Chinese literature. The main character in Xiyou Ji is Sun Wukong, or, when the words are pronounced as if they were Japanese kanji, Son Gokuu (hence the name Son Son).

All of Son Wukong's companions besides Zhu Bajie (Pigsy) are snatched by a demon and it's up to the two of them to chase after the demon and rescue them. The game auto-scrolls with multiple platform "tiers" and the player must switch between them and attack incoming enemies with their weapon. By switching tiers, the player can collect score items.

雑記20221001

もう10月じゃん。去年の反省を活かして、今年は高橋書店のカレンダーは店頭で買ってきます。ヨドバシで買ったらクソデカ箱で送ってきたからな。カレンダーを折らない配慮はありがたいんですけど。

でも、どこで売ってるのか知らんのよね。近所のイオンで売ってたら一番ありがたいんだけど。最悪、京都で買ってくるしかない。

リリースされて1週間くらい経ちました？ Windows11のバージョン22H2。そろそろいいかなって感じなんでインストールしたいと思います。必要なければアップデートしなくてもいいのに、なんかインストールしないと落ち着かない感じもある。このOSのアップデートにまつわる謎の感情、なんなんだ。

セキュリティのことを考えたらアップデートはしないと。ただ22H2に関してはセキュリティアップデートというより機能アップデートみたいな感じだから、躊躇するところはある。いってきます。

ということでインストールしてきました。うれしいことがひとつありました。

以前、Spybot - Search & Destroyというアンチスパイウェアをインストールしていたのですが、なんかバージョンアップでMicrosoft Defenderのポジションを乗っ取るようになったのでアンインストールしたんですよね。Spybotはあくまでアンチスパイウェア・マルウェアとして入れていて、言わばMicrosoft Defenderの補完的なポジションとして考えていたわけです。

ところが、SpybotをアンインストールしたらMicrosoft Defenderが起動しなくなっちゃって、いろいろ調べた結果、復旧するにはOSの再インストールしかないみたいなことになって、さすがにそれはしんどいのでノーガード状態で過ごしていました。いや、ほんとにノートン先生を何十年かぶりに買ってインスト��ルしようかと思ったよ。

Spybotに限らず、セキュリティ系のソフトではよくあるそうです。行儀が悪いソフトには気を付けましょう。基本、Microsoft Defenderで十分でしょう。

で、バージョン22H2をインストールしたらMicrosoft Defenderが復活しました！ やったぜ！ 今後はインストールしなくても使えるアンチスパイウェアソフトを使いたいと思います。

書いていませんでしたが、先日までPlaystation Storeでセール中だったPS5版Endzone（ファミ通.com）、買いました。Complete Editionってやつ。PC版もセール中ですね。圧倒的に安い。でも僕はPS5でやるんだ。内容的にはまんまサバイビング・ジ・アフターマスじゃんって感じなんだけど、どうなんだろう？

ついでにCapcom Arcade Stadiumの全部入りDLCも買いました。お前それSwitchでも持ってるじゃん！ なんでPS4版のも買ってんだよっていう。そのうち2ndのほうも買いたいと思います。
