I like imagining that someone at Capcom is using the recent collections to push their Morrigan crossover ships. The more obvious explanation is that Morrigan is a marketable succubus, but consider how she and Leo from Red Earth pose together in Capcom Fighting Collection, with the game even having a variant of the art that's just them.

Meanwhile Marvel vs Capcom collection got Morrigan x Spider-Man to become a hot ship of the week with just this.

...So not only do you guys give us the RETURN of Marvel 2 via the collection a couple months back, but you also decided we waited long enough and FINALLY GAVE US POWER STONE 1 & 2 FOR MODERN SYSTEMS!!! On top of that you give us Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, you give us CvS 1 Pro & 2 (right when 1 Pro got an english translation patch for Dreamcast), you give us Plasma Sword out of left field, and you bloody give us PROJECT JUSTICE, AND THEY'RE ALL ONLINE TOO!!!?

Listen Capcom...I know people can just emulate these games or play online thru Fightcade on their PCs and whatnot, I empathize wholeheartedly with them on that...but y'all have given me plenty reason to drop some change on the collections we're being blessed with! I've waited oh so patiently and that patience is being rewarded, doubly so because of the Switch giving us a great portable means to play em.

This right here is beautiful...truly beautiful!
