I adopted a cat - meet Toulouse! He's a 7-year-old domestic long hair and was at the cat rescue for 6 months. Because he was abused by kids in his previous family, he was aggressive towards the couple of people who had come to meet him, and they decided they wanted a friendlier cat. I was not deterred, however! I was fully expecting it to take several weeks to months for him to warm up to me after I brought him home, but in fact it only took one day. He has made himself right at home and has not been acting fearful or aggressive - in fact, the opposite - he's a little love bug! What a brave and resilient cat. I love him so much! ❤️

A reminder for those of us with cats at Easter that lilies of ANY kind are BAD for cats. Some species such as Calla, Peace and Peruvian do not cause kidney damage or death like Easter and daylilies, but they can still cause irritation and gastrointestinal issues if ingested...
