Jade is not welcomed here. >:( Floyd's jealousy gets the better of him and maybe he's being petty when he blesses your house and puts all sorts of magical seals and enchantments on it to ward off devils like Jade, but this is only because he wants you all to himself. How else can he possibly have a chance with you if Jade's so annoyingly relentless with his attempts to charm you into sex? T_T

hi! hello! salutations! my name (at least on the internet) is creme (she/her please and thank you), and this reintro has been... a long time coming, to say the least. let’s get some quick facts out of the way so i can talk about my over abundance of projects!

i tend to write character-driven stories, complicated relationships of all kinds, queer/nerudivergant characters (hey, write what you know), fucked-up magic systems, and basically everything i touch ends up having SOME kind of fantasy element (whether intentionally or not)

i also write poetry! but that tends not to get posted as much bc of just how personal it is to me

i’m pretty active on here but i'm trying to get better at actually Posting My Writing, i do have some stuff up (mostly from my main wip Lay Me Down) but that’s something i’m working on

i’m currently studying journalism and creative writing in university!!!

i’d love to be published one day (primarily with my poetry and maybe a novel) but first i have to actual finish something lol

i am literally up to read/follow anything. anything at all. i do have stuff i look for and some genres i read more than others but if something has a premise i like/tropes i like/a cool vibe/anything remotely interesting at all i tend to jump on it

aaaaand i think that’s mostly it! now onto the main event (aka all my stories i couldn’t shut up about so i had to put them under the cut):

LAY ME DOWN.

BASICS. drafting/outlining. fantasy/horror, dark academia (sort of). third person present tense, dual POV. book one of the gravespeaker trilogy.

PREMISE. On an earth overtaken by a infectious supernatural forest: a runaway with the ability to see the dead, a star student with far worse than blood staining their hands, the ghost of a murdered girl with a score to settle, and a failed prophet who knows far more than he thinks, must work together to unravel the mysteries and secrets of a deadly library at the end of the world that is just as much prison as it is salvation (that is… if they don’t kill each other first).

CHARACTERS. 

Agnes-Maria white [17 and too good for this place. she is made of bruised skin and bleeding flowers, a girl half dying who will do anything to live.]

Pallas [17 and exactly where they think they belong. there is nothing safe or kind or soft about them even though they want to be, both the knife and the open wound.]

Nina Martin [18 and longing to leave. she is an echo of someone a different girl used to be, and death is only the beginning.]

Fiver [25 and looking for something better. he exists as an ichor-toned lie and wishes to scrub the residue of it from his skin, someone desperate to break the chains of the past around his neck.]

BURN THE STARS

BASICS. planning (seriously in the very early stages of planning). sci-fi fantasy. third person past tense (for now), four major POVs (for now). book one of a planned duology.

PREMISE. Exiled from one of the galaxies seven holy ruling families and poisoned with magic she doesn't understand, Apollinaires self-destructive spiral is interrupted by an event that leads her into the path of a sharpshooter with a taste for vengeance and a fervent medic pursuing knowledge no matter the cost. Meanwhile, in the heart of a massive rotating space station known as the Rings, wearing a stolen face and longing for home, reluctant assassin Anandi Alva plans to finally bring the star-spanning church to its knees. While within the palace both a fallen warrior and a girl-king strive to remember what means to be human.

MISC PROJECTS

SALT BIRDS. low fantasy/slice-of-life audio drama. outlining. follows the lonely keeper of a seaside graveyard when one of the bodies she fishes from the ocean ends up being very much alive. With nowhere else to go the teenager she finds washed up on her shore must stay with her and the two must find a way to live with each other, despite the secrets both are keeping.

guilt, redemption and forgiveness. facing the unknown. stagnation and apathy. isolation. the ocean is real scary you guys (but also cool).

ONE DOWN AT DEVONS MARSH. urban fantasy with heavy litfic elements. planning/sporadically drafting. follows twins Friday and Oliver Walker as they attempt to understand the curse that dictates one of them will die on their seventeenth birthday while also navigating their relationships with each other, their family of witches, the town they live in, and the friends they meet along the way.

family (blood and otherwise). complicated platonic relationships. coming of age, faeries and witchcraft. weird small towns. fate and free will. death and grief. oops! this one is all about MY specific high school trauma!

SUNDOWN LAND. soft fantasy/roadtrip. planning. follows Shrike, a runaway thief slowly dying from a magical disease, and Ariel, an artificial construct who's maker has recently disappeared, as they journey through the ruins of their wartorn country in search of a mystical place both know from a popular childrens story.

finding closure. coming to terms with childhood abuse. generational trauma. personal autonomy. fantasy vs reality. discovering and defining identity. places being personified. it can be a pinocchio retelling if you squint reeeealllly hard.

ALL FALL DOWN. superhero. rewriting and replanning. follows hero and villain duo Tatum and Umbra as their city of New Victoria is plunged into chaos following a series of increasingly violent attacks. forced to work together and battling their own inner demons the two and their rag-tag group of friends are drawn into a much larger conspiracy that could unravel their ideas of themselves, each-other, and the foundation of the very world they live in.

enemies-to-lovers. gray mortality. the dangers of black and white thinking. what makes someone a villain and what makes a someone a hero. found family. the dangers of obsessive hate and revenge. heroes who choose to save the world. healing and recovery. heist bullshit.

I started watching yet another Arty Lesbian Historical Film this evening which was gloriously atmospheric in a way that reminded me so much of ASSOS (rural domesticity, much nature, redhead and dark eyed brunette as the leads) and I mayyyy have turned it off halfway through, right after they hooked up because I’m so certain everything is about to Go Absolutely To Hell as ALWAYS happens in these movies and it makes me sad that my favourite sort of films always does me dirty that that This is why I wrote a book where the gays get everything they want. Você disse que Ivan não te interessa muito e meio que entendo, já que pouca participação dá nisso, mas você vê algum potencial nele? Tipo: ele é gentil, protetor, um pouco pavio curto para injustiça e aparentemente pacifista (considerando penaltime que é um caos — opinião por favor), embora ele quisesse bater no Kim (passo pano, pois Kim é um desgraçado, odeio ele, nem considerando totalmente zombaria), e claro, sua aparência é um pouco intimidadora (teoricamente, mas acho ele um caso de "ideia legal, má prática"), quero dizer, de todos os personagens ele é o que não é tóxico em algum sentido. Até Luka que teoricamente era para ser perfeito, é tóxico, pedir sua namora a revelar um segredo e ficar triste a ponto de ser Akumatizado, ele que teoricamente entende o conceito de segredo, deveria entender que nem tudo consegue e deve ser revelado. Ou o grupo de amigas da Marinette sendo akumatizadas pelo mesmo motivo, "minha amiga não me contou un SEGREDO, estou brava dela a ponto de ser akumatizada".

É por isso odeio muito a série, quem deveria ser amigo está mais para inimigo, só poucos casos que eu aceito akumatização (então joguem fora Animan, bakerix e Simplificador). Injustiça até é aceitável, raiva até vai, tristeza depende, mas o caso de Glaciator, eu não passo pano, "meu casal não é canônico, serei Akumatizado", tipo: Andre quem é você na FILA DO PÃO para definir quem deve ficar junto? Ou pior, você não pode escolher nem seu sorvete, eu não gosto de morango, mas se minha "alma gêmea" tiver algo relacionado a morango (cor), você vai colocar? E os alérgicos? Eu passo mal comendo coco artificial (e eu duvido ser natural aqueles sorvetes), sem contar de muita coisa não regulamentada. E eu não entendi, o sorvete é pago? Porquê se for, PAGA POR ALGO QUE NÃO POSSO ESCOLHER é fogo. O pior de tudo, ele se recusa a vender/distribuir por não concordar com o casal ou amigos se ele cismar em algo. Mas tipo ser Akumatizado uma vez é até de boas, mas 4 vezes é complicado, eu que não passava pano, agora queimo mais.

Bom, potencial ele tem sim, assim como todos os personagens eu diria. Mas nada nele me interessa muito particularmente :/ também passo pano pra ele querer bater no Kim kkkkk, mas não sei se afirmaria realmente essa parada dele "ser o único que não é tóxico em nenhum sentido". De um jeito ou de outro, só não tenho interesse nele no geral, até gostaria de ler fanfics ou AUs focadas nesses personagens que eu não gosto ou não me importo muito, mas não conheço nenhuma.

Sobre isso do luka, pra mim não faz sentido algum colocar a culpa nele por ter sido akumatizado naquele momento. E inclusive acho que esse é um dos maiores problemas da própria série: eles tratam tanto o ato de ter emoções negativas como algo ruim, que fica parecendo que TODO mundo que é akumatizado é automaticamente ruim ou errado por passar por isso. O grande ponto de uma akumatização é justamente o fato dela ser feita sem consentimento (na maioria das vezes pelo menos), num momento de fragilidade de alguém. Ou seja, na maioria dos casos a pessoa NÃO QUER ser akumatizada, e inclusive NÃO QUER estar sentindo aquelas emoções negativas. TODOS podem sentir emoções negativas, por mais besta que um problema pareça, e a culpa não tá necessariamente na pessoa que tá sentindo isso. A pessoa só passa a estar errada quando ela externaliza essas emoções de alguma forma e isso afeta as outras pessoas, ou quando acredita que seus pensamentos prejudiciais são o certo. No caso do Luka, por exemplo, ele estaria errado se quisesse COBRAR da Marinette esses segredos, coisa que ele claramente NÃO queria, já que inclusive tentou resistir à akumatização e se acalmar. A akumatização é justamente uma forma de OBRIGAR as pessoas a externalizarem os próprios sentimentos negativos, então de forma alguma ela molda o caráter de alguém. Se sentir triste por alguém não querer te contar algo NÃO É tóxico, querer forçar a pessoa a contar (ou não entender que a pessoa não é obrigada a te contar tudo) que é. Ele nunca deixou de entender que "nem todo segredo vai ser revelado pra você", ele só se sentiu triste por acreditar que o motivo disso era que a Marinette não confiava nele, etc. Acreditar em algo mas se sentir mal por esse algo não são pensamentos excludentes, as emoções são bem mais complexas que isso (e, honestamente, a série NUNCA consegue capturar essa complexidade, por isso que fica nessa lógica de "se sentiu mal=tá errado" que se extende na série inclusive pra ALÉM de akumatizacoes, zombizou tá aí de exemplo). O único momento em que eu consigo lembrar do Luka sendo tóxico com a Marinette foi no episódio "Determinação", que daí sim, foi questionável, mas ele sequer foi akumatizado de qualquer forma (até porque tavam tratando ele como certo).

As amigas da Marinette são sim meio tóxicas por vários motivos, e nesse Ep elas tavam realmente bem chatas, mas se você considera que a Marinette tinha falado com elas que ia encerrar a amizade, por mais irritantes e invasivas que elas sejam no geral elas também tinham sim motivos pra ficarem BEM Tristes com aquela situação. Isso não deixa a relação delas menos tóxica, mas também não acho que dá pra resumir a akumatização delas a "não aceitaram que a Marinette não queria falar seus segredos" quando a motivação principal foi justamente o "encerramento da amizade".

E não acho que existe realmente isso de "bravo/triste/etc a ponto de ser akumatizado" porque qualquer emoção negativa meio que já te faz uma possível vítima de uma akumatização (tanto q o bebê August já foi akumatizado mais que uma vez, o Sonhador por exemplo só teve um sonho ruim e por aí vai. Não existe um limite mínimo de intensidade de emoção negativa pra ser akumatizado).

Sobre penaltime, pra mim é um dos piores eps de todos os tempos de miraculous kkkkk é um EP claramente feito 100% baseado em fanservice, só que um péssimo fanservice. Quiseram fazer um EP com todos os heróis juntos, mas eles tiveram tão pouco tempo de tela individual que é só sem graça ver eles em ação. Também parece que forçaram MUITO pra TANTOS heróis perderem, porque tava cheio de herói ali que se daria muito bem com o akumatizado (o Luka por exemplo nem ativou o segunda chance), e no fim das contas uma fusão da ladybug de abelha com galo facilmente derrotaria ela. E foi um BAITA desperdício pros novos heróis, que ao invés de terem um EP focado em cada um deles, tiveram tipo 3 minutos de tela num ep que nem destaca os poderes deles direito. Além da Chloe estar insuportável nesse episódio. Existem formas boas de fazer um fanservice e formas ruins. Oblívio por exemplo é um Ep que não acrescenta nada pro plot geral, mas que é divertido de assistir. Penaltime é só realmente frustrante pra mim :/ tá aí um EP que tá quase que 100% removido da minha AU kkkkk

Isso do André eu concordo kkkkk também odeio ele e todos os motivos de akumatização dele foram toscos justamente pq ele tava triste por um casal random não ser real???? Que é bem diferente de ficar meio bolado pq você sente que não confiam o bastante em você por exemplo kkkkk, também nunca entendi como exatamente ele vende os sorvetes dele (já devia ter sido multado há muito tempo)

Mas o assunto dos akumatizados é o que eu mencionei: você ser akumatizado só é questionável se suas ações tavam sendo questionáveis, ou no máximo se sua linha de pensamento é MUITO zoada. Existem casos e casos, e simplesmente ficar triste por algo não torna a pessoa culpada por ser akumatizada. Pra mim a série falha muito nesse tópico (de deixar claro que a akumatização não é culpa do akumatizado) e um dos maiores problemas da série é ignorar totalmente a complexidade de certas situações, tratando tudo no preto e branco basicamente (E, inevitavelmente, essa linha de raciocínio também é meio transferida pro público).
