Because I think a very normal amount about the larger Mario family and very very very much want The Super Mario Brothers Super Show Reboot all about them

G-Poppy and his wife moved to American from Italy in their 20′s, making Mario and Luigi third generation immigrants

G-Poppy’s dream was to own and run an authentic Italian a Restaurant in America, but after the birth of his oldest son, Pio, the need for quick cash to pay rent was more pressing, thus why he got into Boxing

Papa Mario’s full name is Pio Mario Jr, he’s named after G-Poppy

Pio is a good 5-6 years older than his younger brothers, Arthur and Tony, who are only a year apart at most

Sense bills were tight, Pio spent a lot of his childhood being another income to the house hold, working hard labor work like construction to keep the family afloat while his brothers were young

Eventually G-Poppy got too old for wrestling and finally realized his dream of opening a Restaurant; Punch-Out Pizza. This put the family in more financial struggle, forcing Pio to take up more work while Arthur and Tony helped in the Restaurant

Now that G-Poppy is retired Arthur and Tony run the business together. Arthur’s the finance guy, where Tony runs deliveries and hands on manages other employees

It was actually their Grandmother who made Mario and Luigi’s caps for them, she’s also made G-Poppy’s. She passed before Louisiana was born, thus why she couldn’t make her a cap as well

Tony’s a huge horror movie buff, he loves old classics and has a huge VHS collection. Part of the reason Luigi is so scared of the paranormal is from catching glimpses or watching whole movies with Uncle Tony growing up

Another big part of Luigi’s fear though may just come from Uncle Tony loving to scare him. A big pass time for Tony was waiting around corners in Halloween masks to jump scare Luigi, or telling him ghost stories any change he got

Mario also got a bad fear from Uncle Tony’s movies; Pianos. He’d just happened to catch a pretty nasty scene of the lid of a Grand Piano crushing someone when he was younger and it stuck with him pretty hard

Louisiana is about 11-12 years younger than Mario and Luigi, so despite being cousins the three have a hard time relating to one another from the large age gap

Louisiana prefers to go by Louise, though only Mario and Luigi call her that. She was also the first one in the family to use the “Lou” nickname for Luigi, which Mario quickly also picked up

Arthur loves baseball, the Mets especially, but really he’ll watch any team play. He regrets not being on his school’s baseball team when he was younger, due to having to help at the restaurant, thus why he signed his daughter Louisiana up as soon as she was old enough. She’s stuck with it to keep her dad happy

Mia makes 90% of the meals in the Mario household, with the occasional help from Arthur. She learned most her dishes from her own mom, and a good deal more from Pio’s mother after marrying into the family

Marie is absolute rubbish in the kitchen. Mia’s given her multiple lessons and had her help with dinner many times around when she was expecting Louisiana, but she rarely made anything edible. The only one who ate her meals was Arthur, who just wanted to support his wife with all he had, even if it made him ill (which it did. Many times. Tony made fun of him for it)

Tony loves to work on machinery, mostly motorcycles, and has bounced around working part time as a mechanic here and there before his duties at the restaurant drag him back

Pio, Tony, and Mario are the only ones in the Mario family with a drivers license, though Tony was the only one who drove regularly until Mario bought the van

The Mario family owns 4 gaming devices; The Brother’s NES that they bought with their saved up chore money in Middle School, a Wii Marie and Mia do Wii Fit on in the living room, Uncle Tony’s PS2 that’s mostly collecting dust, and the Home Computer that Louise plays Roblox and Minecraft on

The Mario family apartment has 3 bedrooms; Pio and Mia’s, Arthur Marie and Louise’s, and Mario and Luigi’s. G-Poppy sleeps on a chair in the living room, and Tony sleeps on the couch

Louise has already called dibs on Mario and Luigi’s room when they move out, Tony says he prefers the couch anyway so he doesn’t mind

Pio pushes a lot of his own raising onto Mario, as the oldest he thinks Mario should be responsible, a support for the family, not chasing his own crazy dream that could crash down onto them into debt

On the flip side, Arthur puts a lot of what he wanted for himself onto Louisiana, pushing her to do new things and plays sports and do after school activities like he never got to do having to work in the Restaurant growing up

Tony’s the only one he sees this happening, and thus has stayed the fun uncle who’ll get you out of that thing you don’t want to do if asked. He’s listened to a lot of vents from the kids as he drives them from one activity to the next, and tries to remind them their parents are doing their best, and love them a lot. For everyone but Luigi that reminder fell on deaf ears

Anon, I appreciate you sending this because, right now, I feel like an elite status female rapper. Like CL from 2NE1 rapped in their 2011 hit, "I am the best", Be On Cloud owns me, and y'all can't tell me shit about this show.

I know I have some Wild Ass Theories and I'm always clownin' in these BL streets, but I love when my theories actually hit their target like . . .

When I knew Teacher Chadok was in a relationship with Teacher Dika since the first episode of The Eclipse.

When I knew Kanghan's house was going to be robbed and his dad would be shot since the third episode of Dangerous Romance, even though I thought Saifah would do it.

When I knew Pat was working with Joke to win over Zo since the first episode of Hidden Agenda.

I love making Wild Ass Theories no matter how crazy they are, like my belief that the twins' dad is involved in this whole murder and sex work plot in Playboyy. No matter what happened in this past episode, I still believe it and am eagerly awaiting the upcoming chaos to see how hard I clowned.

Which is why I LOVE Dead Friend Forever.

I want the record to state that no matter what happens after episode seven, that at this exact moment in time, I love this show. It makes me happy to be alive at the same time this is airing, and I'm not joking. I want to remember that at one point, this show was everything to me, and even if it goes down hill, it had all my attention in the first seven episodes. I want to appreciate it right now because regardless of what happens, it did everything right in the first half.

With the way some shows keep losing their footing in the end, sometimes we forget how good they were in the beginning, and the emo in me doesn't want to forget this feeling. Some of my favorite movies are Scream, Heathers, and Jawbreaker so this show has been giving me the explicitly queer version of kill your frenemies since the very first episode, and I love it.

My internal alarm went off the second Tee got upset that Phi was speaking to White in episode one, then the dark hand touched him making him enemy #1. I didn't like the way he told White he needed to obey him, and I feel like the dark hand wasn't too pleased with it either. It was a vibe.

And now Non has a hurt hand in the past from falling off the bike . . .

Then, Jin was the main character of the previous film, so he was either the killer or the biggest baddie.

But Phi was just so sus, that I clocked him as a killer.

Which meant Phi and Jin were the killers, but Tan has no backstory and people with no history are intentionally hiding it, so they can kill everyone and peace out.

So in my mind, Tan and Phi were regulated to the killers, Tee was the second to last to die, which I'm hoping it's by his boyfriend White who he thinks disobeys him, and the rest of the squad would die as needed. Which left Jin to be the baddie.

All of my theories could blow up at any second because we don't know if Jin actually sent that video or if his computer fizzled out before it finished uploading, so he could still be a killer avenging Non instead of a baddie who wronged Non (but he took the video and that is messed up regardless of what he planned to do with it).

But either way, I'm hoping it comes down to Phi and Jin in that forest because the show started with them.

And I don't think Jin realizes who Phi is to Non since Jin never got a good look at Phi's face in the past.

The Twitter folks spotted that Phi's dad was the police chief from the letters the boys got calling them in for interrogation in episode six.

And now the knife from episode two is showing up in the past in Non's backpack.

Up until this point, I feel the show has laid out a solid story with a good cast, and I think Be On Cloud relied on their KinnPorsche casting to throw people off in this show because who expected Us to be doomed in the first episode? That was like Drew Barrymore dying at the beginning of Scream.

People have felt off about JJ's character, but the show wouldn't really have JJ do anything bad to sweet Barcode, right?

And Barcode and Ta being paired together was a pipe dream for the Macau x Porchay shippers, so it could never happen here!

Especially because Ta and Copper won The Hidden Character, which meant they were going to be the main pair of this show, right?

WRONG!

Barcode is gonna be involved in some fucked up shit, and according to those MDL comments, people are realizing they messed up making any assumptions before this show started based on what the actors previously did.

I truly feel like BOC looked at its lineup and said "Baby Barcode was babygirled so hard for the past two years that the audience won't even think his character is capable of such things"

and I love that for us.

BOC gave these youngsters (19-23 in age) a script from Dr. Sammon and the Pit Babe writers and said "go HAM, bitches"

And the audience stays winning.

This isn't about my Wild Ass Theories coming true. This is an appreciation post for what this show has given to me up until this point - a good mystery.

Every week I have more questions and none of them feel like they will go unanswered. Is Non dead? Did Jin actually upload the video? Is Tan a killer? Why did Phi hook up with Jin? Will White finally snap, crackle, and pop like a bag of Rice Krispies treats for the mere fact that he simply wanted a nice weekend getaway with his boyfriend and now has to deal with all this bullshit?

But most importantly, when did Phi realize he was going to kill all of them after making them run around scared for their lives?

Because by time the show makes it back to the present day, I'm sure we're all going to want to watch these kids suffer in the worst ways possible.

Manipulate, Murder, Mayhem

My friend is running a text-based rpg campaign, and I'm absolutely in love with it, so I decided to draw a 'cover' for each day in the story. We'll see if I can do one for each day, but I'm SO proud of how these turned out so far - all of them are inked in my notebook first, and then coloured digitally. If anyone's interested in the story, I've explained more about it all under the cut!

OKAY. So the game is called City of Mists, and basically it's...kinda hard to explain, but I'd call it 'cyberpunk noir', but with a 90s technological aesthetic. Kinda like when you read Issac Asimov's books and they're using computers but it's all cassettes and film-based technology. Anyway, it's awesome. Every character has a normal life in the city - their 'logos' - but there are some characters who are called Rifts, who have something mythological manifest within them - their 'mythos'. Now, the mythos can kinda be anything, but the point is that it's a legend or story that manifests within the character, and thus gives them new abilities. And every Rift has to balance their logos and their mythos - because to delve too much into your mythos means you forget your normal life and become entirely consumed by the mythos...but to focus too much on your logos means to lose, and forget, your mythos entirely. The 'mist' of the city obscures mythological and supernatural things from those who haven't 'awakened' yet - but Rifts can see through the mist.

So, my little guy is - sighs. Okay. Y'all are gonna laugh. Please be aware that I know, okay? I know. It's fine. This is a choice I've made. But he's called Nakis Sandhu, and he's an investigative journalist (NOT with amnesia) who, when he was a kid, was involved in a train accident that killed his parents, but him and his twin sister miraculously survived. He's trans, and he has a van - he doesn't live in it, thank goodness, but it is important because his mythos is Captain Nemo from 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas (this is why he looks like Sacha Dhawan, because like....Sacha Dhawan should play Captain Nemo and I'll die on that hill). And so Nakis, when his mythos awakened, turned his van into the Nautilus - Captain Nemo's submarine - and so it now works underwater too, and can travel undetected. He also becomes like, a technological genius and can invent stuff on the fly, but he never studied engineering or anything - it just comes to him in flashes of inspiration.

Nakis' main thing is that he's trying to figure out what happened in the train crash when he was a kid. He saw something different to everyone else, because he saw through the mist - what everyone else thought was an accident was actually two Rifts duking it out (I think). One of these Rifts was a blue bull that is apparently called 'the Bull of Thunder', and the other was a man with fire based abilities - called 'The Burning Man'. On Day 2, Nakis discovered a metal case that had belonged to the Burning Man, that had been hidden for twenty years - since the day of the accident - and was full of clues, including some photographic film that needed developing. Unfortunately, seems that there's a strange filter on the photos, so it's impossible to tell what's on them...luckily, my guy made friends with a photographer on Day 1 (who I believe is another player character) whilst investigating something else, and as a result he's now passed the film on to him, in the hopes that he'll be able to clear them up.

One funny thing: Day 0 was supposed to be a 'chill' day to figure out how the game mechanics worked, and figure out what your character would do on a normal day. Nakis immediately went to investigate something and then nearly ended up drowning RIP. On Day 1, when continuing to investigate the thing from Day 0, he...got shot in the shoulder HAHAHAH but he's fine, he's doing great, he didn't bleed out in his apartment which is always a win. He also bumped into another player character by doing this - so yay!

At least half the fun of a good monster movie is seeing what the visual effects team cooked up from latex and plastic and slime. It's a given, we're all there a little bit to see something cool, and hopefully the rest of the movie isn't terrible, but as long as it's tolerable then a well made monster effect can make or break a film. Part of what we lost in the grab for cheap and exploitative CGI is that goopy, gruesome, stretchy, squirmy latex look of a proper movie monster. A good computer graphic monster, in the context of a video game where it's all computer generated, is excellent. But in a movie with physical people it's a let down. It's got no chemistry with the bioactors, and it really tanked the monster movie genre. I mean if you love a sharktopus or three headed land shark that's fine, but you know you're there for the humor of it, not the quality.

Because it's so easy to score a good movie with an average plot and a sexy monster, there's a long standing tradition of swiping the plots of better movies in pursuit of that monster magic. And if someone wants to make "The Thing, but in the ocean," I will not protest. Leviathan did it, and that worked out alright. Average plot, great monster, what more do you need. That's about the same which can be said for Harbinger Down. Nearly shot for shot copying The Thing at times, I can't be mad. In a time when most would have done a full CGI monster they seem to have gone mostly practical with a really nice pay off. It's weird, it's gross, it's covered in slime and spikes and wrinkly rubber folds. It literally just looks like someone made an aquatic themed version of The Thing. And I am here for it. I won't die on a hill for it, but if you're casting about wanting a cool movie monster, you could do a lot worse. It's honestly a couple casting choices and probably one final screenplay edit from being average but fun to something really good and interesting, but it's yet one more movie where you can tell who the survivor is by looking for the person who is the most youthful, conventionally attractive, thin, USAmerican, and white. Coulda pulled a really interesting movie off with a tiny bit more care for interesting details over generic ones but what the hell. At least the black characters don't die first, and there's more than one of them.

Throw it on, pop some popcorn, watch with some friends for the chills and thrills but don't make it your big Halloween spooktackular. Love it, or don't, the monster is worth 90 minutes out of the day and isn't that what we all came to see anyway?

~ An Engineer's Last Moment ~

His heart was beating out of his chest, pulse racing. It felt like he couldn't breathe. And that was just the problem.

Soon enough he would run out of air. And then he wouldn't be able to breathe for real.

He ran his hands through his damp hair, shaking his head over and over again.

It was a nightmare. Never in his life had Montgomery Scott expected that she'd kill him. That his gorgeous silver lady would be the death of him.

He couldn't move. The Jefferies tube was way too small to properly stretch his arms or legs. It was the most horrifying experience the Scotsman could go through.

"Please, lass, let me out of here," he begged in a hoarse whisper, gently running his hand across the cold metal in front of him. He didn't dare to punch it for he didn't want to hurt the Enterprise.

As much as he wished to scream out loud, he knew that it was of no use. No one would hear him anyway.

Everyone was busy trying to fight off the intruders. The alien species that had somehow managed to hack into their computer systems.

These bastards had taken control of his poor silver lady. They had shut down the turbolifts so that the engineers' only way to move through the ship had been the tubes.

And then? Then they had sealed them. They had locked Scotty and probably several other members of his staff inside.

The Scotsman closed his eyes, trying to calm his breathing. He tried to picture his home in his mind.

Scotland. The bonniest place on Earth.

The wide open fields, the glenns, the mountains, the lakes. It was all just so gorgeous. It was the place he had loved for so many years.

If only he could stand on a hill right now, cold wind hitting his face.

Hot tears slowly streamed down his face as he thought about the days when his little brother and him had played outside, rolling down the hills, laughing.

Everything had been perfect.

And now? Now he was slowly suffocating inside a wee tube aboard the ship he loved so much.

It wasn't fair! It wasn't fair that these monsters turned his lovely lass against him!

"Please," he whispered once more. If only he could get through to her. If only he could save her.

With every minute passing, the Jefferies tube seemed to shrink. It was only his imagination, Scotty knew that, but then again it felt just so real. The walls appeared to be coming closer and closer. They wanted to crush him.

"Don't do this, lass, please."

He knew that there was no way out. He knew that he'd die in this place.

The less air he had to breathe, the worse the hallucinations got.

The walls were closing in on him. They pressed all the air from his lungs, crushed his bones, his organs.

The last thing he muttered, when unconsciousness was gentle enough to take him, were the words he needed his silver lady to know.

"It's okay. I... I forgive ye."

It wasn't her fault. And therefore he would never blame her. For she had never meant to hurt him.

One last time, his hand brushed gently across the metal, then it dropped to the ground, staying motionless forever.

Here's my theory.

Afton is a struggling business owner maybe living in his partner's shadow (let's go Jack Black for Henry theory). He's a proud guy but he's burdened by either untreated psychosis or like, he's just on the point of unaliving a couple of screaming kids because *he works in a children's restaurant* but he keeps a hold on it.

Enter his family. He's burdened with glorious purpose and dealing with his own shit (drinking drinking) but he has to be the patriarch and he's on a struggle bus and along comes Garrett. Afton loves Garrett. Hell the whole family does and Garrett, the kid singled out, loves Freddy's. Maybe he doesn't love *FREDDY*.

*I WANNA AMEND THIS* Mike loves Freddy's. Mike is the one that breaks out Mike is the one that loves his dad and wants to follow in his footsteps and his dad is just like kid you are an idiot.

But that doesn't excuse the chances that Garrett loves Bonnie I mean

His dad is Bonnie. He knows his daddy is Bonnie. We only see him *react to Freddy*. He's scared of Freddy. Cue Mike's prank. Afton's wife snaps

Mike is removed from the scenario. I am racking my brain as to how any parent could deal with something like the bite period. Idgaf you know it's an accident no parent could be declared competent after that. Like it's completely impossible.

And in his own way Afton loves his kids but one is dead and one was is removed for his safety and Afton learns his kid is possessing febby and then he goes after the kids at his party and buries them in the forest. That they now also haunt.

So here's a dad who was sort of absent and burdened and kinda massively needed therapy and he has 3 tragedies take place at once. His family is broken. He has to put it back together. So he learns about Garrett and he can't let Freddy's go its his son's tomb and he's running his experiments.(also WHY KEEP ALL THE STUFF IN IT. ITS A TOMB). These are kids that tortured his kid and he's not thinking clearly so he lures Mike, the black sheep who was removed from the family but can't escape his legacy.

So who does he get to help him? Who is he doing his work with? Who is taking care of her beloved dad?

Elizabeth.

Maybe it's Vanessa Elizabeth Afton, maybe it's Elizabeth Vanessa Afton but she's in yellow. She knows all the things. She's got flashbacks. Mike is dealing with unimaginable trauma. He hasn't seen his sister since she was small.

It's 2 siblings reuniting and their 3rd being the only one on top of it.

Cue springtrap. Maybe Vanessa bites it too but she's her dad's right hand but he wants his son back too. He is going to do being a dad right this time. Whatever the cost.

An observation, and some advice...

Firstly, I want to preface this by saying I recognize that others have voiced their own unbiased concerns before, especially those similar to what I am about to mention, and I realize I have also been guilty of doing this as well.

Throughout the polls, I have read several anti-propaganda posts debating over the validity of a character's position within their bracket... "oh, he's End, they're more Web" when the Fears themselves bleed together to a point where sometimes it's not always as clear-cut as to which of them is getting fed the most out of the poor statement giver as other statements are.

The thing I personally need to remind myself of, and what might help others as well, when sending submissions is: "It's less about comparing symbolism/motifs within the character to how the Fear manifested within TMA. It's more about this particular character's victims - how do they feel afraid when within this character's presence?"

Though, the symbolism/motifs can certainly be an added bonus!!

Let's look at an example within the show, I'm choosing one of my favorite episodes MAG 65: Binary* for this!

Sergey Ushanka didn't want to die, he was terrified of the End, so he uploaded his consciousness into his computer.

There are a few honorable interpretations for which Fears might actually be present within this statement, before I get to the statement giver herself: the grotesque nature with which Ushanka plugged himself in along with the horrific images of his lips being slit by the plastic keyboard keys as he ate them are very Flesh, Tessa being forced to watch all 17 hours is very Eye, and (I will die on this hill) the amalgamation of humanity and technology into something unnatural and inhuman is very Extinction.

However, Tessa Winters's biggest fear is not any of these... What she is the most terrified of is her mind becoming twisted in impossible angles that she loses her grasp on her mind's perception of reality, which is very Spiral.

That's why the video was on every screen she looked at, why it would follow her until she saw all of it, and why Ushanka would always say things like "It peels my mind like knives", "The maze is sharp on my mind", and "The angles cut me when I try to think."

TLDR: The Fears are colors, not neat little boxes. Characters can be Fear Soup, but which one is the main ingredient? And ofc, it's all open to interpretation! Humans shape and feed the Fears after all, we bring our own baggage. It's how you see this character becoming an avatar if the Fears entered their reality, and all of them are valid!

Now for my promised rant/ramble:

Why you should listen to the Who and their rock operas

They started in the 60s as a sort of Beatles imitation popular with the kid subculture (distinctly different from the rockers), and gained some popularity for their instrument smashing antics, though their songs remained rather “tame”. Coming up to the late 60s, they were “over the hill” and seriously in debt due to their destructive shows.

In a do-or-die attempt to revitalize their career, Pete Townshend wrote the rock opera “Tommy”, which is awesome and I wish I could go into greater detail, but for now let’s just say it’s about a kid who with a “mental block” who becomes a misguided messiah figure, a commentary on rock superstardom and new age spiritual practices. The album blew up, and the band was back alive.

Townshend wanted to follow it up with an even more elaborate film/concert experience called “Lifehouse”, about a dystopian world where music was forbidden, and The Who represented a group that rediscovered rock music and put on a concert in rebellion. The play/performance would feature an invite only crowd inputting their personal information into a computer, which would then be wired into an early synthesizer which would then real-time play notes based on each person’s info, eventually culminating in a “universal chord”. Unfortunately this was too elaborate and plans fell through. Much of the material for “Lifehouse” got reworked into the “Who’s Next” album, and “Lifehouse” got revitalized by Townshend as a solo project in the 90s I believe.

After “Who’s Next”, Townshend still wanted a concept album, and was struggling for a story. Eventually, he landed on the idea of a sort of autobiographical retrospective where the main character was a member of the Mod subculture struggling with four separate identities (schizophrenia squared, or “Quadrophenia”). Each personality was thematic of a member of the Who and had theme music to accompany them. The character struggles through mod-rocker riots, unable to hold down a job, is left behind by the more fashionable mods, and heads to Brighton, where Mods hang out and an “ace face” Mod resides. The ace face Mod is a bellboy and has left the subculture, and the main character takes a boat to a rock out in the ocean and ponders his life, his fate left uncertain.

All three of these albums are sweet solid bangers, and I highly recommend starting your journey into classic rock bands like The Who with these albums. Also if you like prog rock and proto-punk, these albums might also have some sounds and themes that were influential in both these subcultures.

The Tigger Movie

This movie, this fucking movie, because of this movie and Winnie Pooh in general I love the found family trope. That need of Tigger to find his family, all the others jumping in to help him and then trying to cheer him up, and then him realizing that his family has been there right in front of him all this time, his relationships with Roo and Rabbit mean everything to me, the acting and animation YOU COULD FEEL TIGGER'S SORROW, Tigger is my favourite character and this movie fucked me up emotionally and I love it so much.

Lilo and Stitch

OHANA MEANS FAMILY. FAMILY MEANS NOBODY GETS LEFT BEHIND OR FORGOTTEN. It has aliens, complex but loving family dynamics (with found famiy mixed into it), great fucking music (I knew all the dances) and it's beautiful. I've watched every single bit of media related to Lilo and Stitch, every movie and the tv series, and I love it all, but the first movie is so very special to me. The movie kinda grew up with me in a way, because when I was younger I related a lot with Lilo, but then I started relating so much with Nani, mostly because I'm the oldest sibling. Also Jumba and Pleakley are married I will die on this hill.

The Iron Giant

He wanted to be like Superman and he WAS he really was. I haven't seen this movie in a while now, I should rewatch it, but the friendship the kid and the robot had is something beautiful, and just all the humanity and care and love he experienced, he showed all of that way more than most of the humans from that movie. IT'S ART.

Ice Age

The first one specifically, the second one is really cool too but the others are kinda meh to me. Anyway I had this movie on vhs and I watched it so so many times, I know most of the movie by heart. And hey we have a beautiful found damily dynamic yet again!!! How Manny, Sid and Diego's friendship and companionship evolves as the movie progresses is awesome, Sid is fucking hilarious, Manny is a mood, I had a bit of a crush on Diego I'll be honest, and you really feel for all of them. And Scrat is Scrat, an absolute delight to witness.

The Spongebob movie (the first one ever created)

Just like with Ice Age, I know basically all the dialogue all the songs, I would watch this again and again with my little brother (this time on cd) it never gets old man. No thoughts only SpongeBob.

Over the Hedge

I have the soundtrack for this movie in my playlist, enough said. THIS MOVIE IS EVERYTHING, AND AGAIN FOUND FUCKING FAMILY. I'm realising with this list that I like that trope more than I thought, idk what that says about me. Hammy is my favourite guy, he's my little guy he can do no wrong whatsoever. And Stella the skunk is the character ever we love her in this house.

Shrek (the whole fucking saga)

There's no need for explanation here. Might be one of the best animated movie saga out there let's be honest here. AGAIN I have seen these movies so many times I know everything about them but I still enjoy the absolute fuck out of them.

Aardman Animations

Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Flushed Away, The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!...AMAZING FILMS ALL OF THEM. I know not ALL of them are stop motion/claymation, some are computer animated, but because of these movies (and Laika's of course) my love for this animation medium began, and I could not be more thankful for that.

Monster House

My love for horror increased 100% after this movie, it's funny, it's spooky, it gets sad as hell, it has a great plot twist???? What more do you need.

Laika

Coraline and Kubo and the Two Strings are my favourites from Laika, but all their other movies are gems as well. Coraline, I don't know if I can completely express why I like it, it's a classic and it's so ingrained in myself after so many years, I can't not love it. Kubo and the Two Strings is a movie I watched much recently, last year I think, and I love it so much, the way it's animated is absolutely stunning it's a beautiful piece of art (much like all of Laika's work) and the story and characters are so lovely. Like I said before, seeing Laika's animations, seeing how much work and love is put into these films made me love stop motion so much and inspired me to become an animator.

Meet the Robinsons

THIS MOVIE MAKES ME SOB UNCONTROLLABLY. That part when Lewis sees his bio mom leave him at the orphanage???? The ending???? The message???? FUCK AHHHH. I'm a mess every time I watch this movie. Everything about it is, lovely oh so lovely, the characters we meet, the story, how we put the pieces of the puzzle together as the story goes, Goob kills me man (also he's literally me for real) I just, this movie means a lot to me. "Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." Reading that and hearing the ending song absolutely DESTROYS ME.
