it’s like 100% a riff on the scene in 22 Jump Street, “Schmidt Fucked the Captain’s Daughter”, but with Cora Harper and Sara Ryder as the ones in question, Liam as the one crowing about it to everyone in the vicinity, and Alec being very stern and trigger-happy lol. It’s a one-shot set before the Initiative leaves the Milky Way that I’ve written absolutely nothing for and would probably be less than 600 words, but I’m sure I could add an actual smut scene in there if I tried lol

As much as I’d wish for my boy to end up with Reyes, who’d burn a galaxy to protect him, I can’t just break him into accepting the shit Reyes did (except in some weird AU). He’s just not that type. Cora on the other hand... Well. And she can punch people through wall.

11. What causes them to fight?They occasionally bicker about small things, but the biggest source of fights between them is behaving recklessly in battle. It’s usually Cora getting angry more than Scott - he can be reckless at times, throwing himself into firefights against stronger opponents and getting in over his head, or taking on too many enemies at once. In a way it’s a result of Scott just trying to protect his teammates while forgetting that they’re all just as capable in combat as he is, some of them even more so, and while Cora knows that as well she can’t help but feel overprotective towards him at times and as a result gets angry when he throws himself into too much danger at once.Likewise, if Cora ever acts recklessly in a fight it’s because she pushes her biotics too hard or, like Scott, gets overwhelmed by trying to turn the focus of stronger enemies on her instead. Scott’s anger also comes from his concern, but whenever it does turn into a full-scale argument they’ll both walk away until they calm down, then meet up again to talk things through. It doesn’t mean they’ll never have such an argument again, with combat being a daily part of their lives, but understanding their partner’s anger helps.
