So I love pulp comics, kinda got into it when I got done with Goosebumps as a kid. And kinda went into a Golden Age comic fascination rabbit hole, as Denver has a lot of great comic book shops, and when you only have $2 to spend on entertainment, It has become a bit of a (now hiatus) hobbie. Tales from the Crypt is def one of my faves. I loved the show as a kid, I enjoyed the comics as a college student, and I'm now very nostalgic for it.

Camillo Mastrocinque Count Karnstein sends for a doctor to help his sick daughter Laura, but her nurse believes she is possessed by the spirit of a dead ancestor, Carmilla. A young woman, Ljuba, becomes intrigued by the mysterious deaths surrounding Laura after a carriage accident outside the castle forces her to stay. They find a deep companionship with each other until Laura becomes convinced the spirit of Carmilla is forcing her to kill. (link in title)

Our goal is to restore Amicus Productions as an independent British Horror Studio that values its history and fans. Our initial objective is to produce a new film that encapsulates the essence and style that made Amicus Productions legendary.

By championing atmospheric storytelling, practical effects, and a profound respect for horror writing, we plan to transport you back to the golden age of British horror. Restoring Amicus is not merely about reviving a film studio, but it's about rekindling a passion, honoring a rich heritage, and reminding the world of the power of independent filmmaking.
