D-Link Extender Not Connecting To Security Camera
Is your D-Link extender not connecting to the camera? First of all, check whether the router is connected to the modem. After that, make sure the internet light is active on the router or the modem. If you don’t see a light, contact your service provider. At last, reset your device and reconfigure the extender to fix the issue.

ohoHO flower symbolism is my JAM okay
Holly is significant in a lot of different religions, linking to his religious ties. It’s generally associated with protection, good luck and its medicinal properties. Sculptor described Holly as “someone peaceful”, which, so far, has been an accurate description. We’ve seen his genuine want to help Ward from the get go (asking how humans comfort each other), which could definitely extend to protection, and you could probably interpret him snapping at Ain as a form of protection (“Don’t listen, Ain just likes messing with the prisoners.”)
Irises are associated with a lot of things so I’m just going to go through all of them. Wisdom—her unique power grants her a lot of wisdom. Hope—Holly says that Iris used her gift as a way of maintaining peace (“as long as we could understand each other, we could come to an agreement.”). Shows their hope and faith in inherent goodness (she welcomes these random people with open arms). Royalty and power—Holly said Iris’ gift is unique, and she’s the first to greet the Marmors, perhaps she was some sort of unofficial leader?? At least in terms of international communications. Courage—again, she’s quick to approach and greet these random people who’ve just landed on her planet. Also links to Iris’ association to friendship and connection.
No idea if any of this is intentional, but if not it still all fits pretty well lol :D
This all was intentional and you absolutely nailed it oh my fuckiNG GOD

hello! i need a bit of help with verbs, more so the basic verbs and their synonyms.
Writing Notes: Verbs
Verb - a word that shows an:
action (‘I will jog to the store’),
occurrence (‘The bananas ripened overnight’), or
state of being (‘I have the same right to exist as you’).
Main Types of Verbs
Transitive verbs require a direct object, meaning a noun, pronoun, or noun phrase that receives the action of the verb and so completes the sentence’s meaning. The direct object typically answers the question what? or who?
Intransitive verbs do not take direct objects. They are often followed by words that answer questions such as where?, when?, how?, or how long?
Other Types of Verbs
Action verbs describe actions that someone can do or demonstrate.
Auxiliary verbs, or helping verbs, help the main verb of the sentence (known as a participle) by extending its meaning. You’ll see them in verb phrases where one verb doesn’t form a complete thought, or in perfect verb tenses.
Compound verbs combine two words to create a new verb. They can be 1 or 2 words long, or they can be hyphenated.
Regular verbs only add -d or -ed in their past tense form.
Irregular verbs are verbs that change form in the past tense.
Linking verbs connect the subject to details about the subject. Various forms of the verb to be are linking verbs, including am, is, are, and were.
Modal verbs are auxiliary verbs that show possibility or necessity. They always accompany other action verbs.
Phrasal verbs are a type of compound verb that end with a preposition. They’re often difficult to directly translate to different languages because they’re English idioms.
Stative verbs describe a position or state of being that you can’t see, but exists anyway. While they don't perform any visible action, they're typically followed by a direct object.
Examples of transitive verbs
“The kids like pickles.” (Like is the verb and pickles are the direct object.)
“Can you ask the neighbor when the yard sale will be?” (Ask is the verb and the noun phrase the neighbor is the direct object.)
"We ate cake for breakfast." (Ate is the verb and cake is the direct object.)
Examples of intransitive verbs
“Her car died suddenly last week.” (The verb is die and we are told when it happened.)
“We ate at a fancy restaurant.” (The verb is ate and we are told where this happened)
“Someone was coughing loudly.” (The verb is coughing and we are told how this was happening.)
“The movie marathon took all night to finish watching.” (The verb is took and we are told how long this took.)
A single verb can also have both transitive and intransitive uses, as in “They are playing soccer” (transitive) and “They’ve been playing all afternoon” (intransitive).
Examples of action verbs
Naomi accepted the job offer.
We baked a carrot cake.
She ironed her dress.
Mark drinks vanilla lattes.
Examples of stative verbs
You deserve a prize.
Jane hates humidity.
Henry loves billiards.
I remember you.
Examples of regular verbs
We walked to the concert. (walk becomes walked)
Pauly lied to his friends. (lie becomes lied)
The kids performed in the school play. (perform becomes performed)
I smelled smoke in the hallway. (smell becomes smelled)
Examples of irregular verbs
I spoke to my neighbor. (speak becomes spoke)
We saw the new action movie last night. (see becomes saw)
The community felt nervous. (feel becomes felt)
Nora made a beautiful speech at the wedding. (make becomes made)
Present — Past — Past Participle
be — was, were — been
begin — began — begun
choose — chose — chosen
drink — drank — drunk
eat — ate — eaten
Examples of linking verbs
Damien is an expert craftsman.
We became best friends in high school.
You seem kind and thoughtful.
I am taller than my brother.
Examples of auxiliary verbs
I have been there before.
Paul doesn’t know his way home.
He didn’t run for president.
The dogs are playing in the yard.
Auxiliary verbs: am, is, are, was, were, have, had, etc.
Examples of modal verbs
We will find the perfect pumpkin.
Tiffany might want another helping of pie.
I must finish this project tonight.
The whole team should be there.
Modal verbs: can, could, will, would, shall, should, ought, must, may, might, etc. These verbs are found in verbal phrases, seldom by themselves: can see, will run, might study, must sell, etc.
In a verbal phrase, remember that the modal or auxiliary verb may be separated from the main verb, especially in a question (e.g., Did you hear me call?)
Examples of compound verbs
Don’t overstay your welcome.
Can you babysit my kids tonight?
Be sure to waterproof your new shoes.
I color-coded my whole file cabinet.
Examples of phrasal verbs
Can you take out the trash?
My girlfriend just broke up with me.
Don’t give up on your dreams.
The kids get along so well.
State of being verbs: am, is, was, were, will be, became, seem, look, feel...

hey, i just noticed it but am i crazy or is your name a reference to the extended version of when we didn't get along?
Omg I'm so happy someone noticed, thank you!!! Yes, yes it is.
It actually has a bit more backstory, so if you are not interested in learning about my insane, jumping-throug-hoops reasoning feel free to not click under the cut, short answer is yes.
Long answer is, it all started the day of my (blog's) actual birth.
I was listening to the PnF soundtrack when I decided to stop tiptoing on the outskirts of the community and finally make a blog for it, with special emphasis in that specific subset of the PnF fandom that I oh so adore.
Just as I had to pick a handler "When we didn't get along" came up and I had to stop to listen. I've always liked it a lot, it's not often that we get that kind of literal, textual insight to Perry's thoughts, and my absolutely favourite part is
I fell for you the moment that you pushed me. You captured me and held me for so long ~
With that, I had 'pushed' and 'held', but I didn't like the asymmetric look so I just changed it to 'push' and 'hold'
It's just SO Perry. Of course that was what tied—pun intended—OWCA's finest to Doofenshmirtz.
Very kinky, very on brand for his relationship with Heinz. Those lines make my stomach flutter and my heart skip a beat because it's so cute for him to be comfortable with that fact to admit it to himself and so heartbreaking in the context of the episode.
Thing is, as I was typing it down I ALSO noticed that those two typed together would make it begin and end with P and D. You know, like Perry and Doofenshmirtz.
I went "OMG! SO CUTE" and capitalized those, so 'Push' and 'holD' it is.
After that I ran it in my head to find a way to bind the words together, looked at it on the screen for a bit and honestly, 'and' seemed like more than enough, so I wrote down 'Push n holD' at first, but I still didn't like the look of it. I typed it like 'Push-n-holD' and 'Push-and-holD' and they looked nice to me so I debated for a moment which one I liked better.
AND THEN, out of nowhere and for no discernable reason whatsoever, I suddenly remembered a loooong forgotten, never finished fic idea I had back in 2010/11, inspired by the concept of six degrees of separation that came to be thanks to the short story "Chain-links" by Frigyes Karinthy.
Base idea of the fic was an episodic exploration of a world where Perry and Doof are not nemesis but where they get to know of eachother through a fun series of aquitanships during the course of the summer that we see that connect them person by person until they eventually do meet, filled with some nerd talk about statistics and graph theory and embedded with my ever present sweet talk of how they are just ment to be.
While the term has been studied with debatable scientific results, the concept itself is something that I absolutely adore.
What a romantic idea, that the world is so small and so wide at the same time. That at any given time we are only six people away from eachother, yet it's only by chance that we get to coincide.
Of course by now I don't remember all the details of the fict, besides the nebulous notion that it was big.
But.
The one line I can recall perfectly goes like this:
"There's just six degrees of separation that stand between you and me." and I don't remember why, but the way I wrote it had Heinz saying it in a tone so yearnful, so lovestruck and so full of hop that it got embedded in my brain forever (to the point I did used it word for word in a short story I had to write back in high school) even when I couldn't remember where I got it from.
'Push-and-holD' was it for me, because written like that there's five characters between "P' and 'n' and then other five between 'n' and 'D". Five characters between their link.
It represents too how Perry fell for Heinz's creativity (plans and traps) and passion (honest motivations and the rawness of their physical fights), and the more I thought about it the more I loved that it has so many little nods to the nature and complexities of their relationship that I could go on and on about, contained in the convenient form of two verbs that describe them perfectly in so many ways. It felt very poetic and I loved the look of it.

Finch finally got a redesign that suits her more... With that, if you want to know more about my riptide oc, info below! :D
WARNING: there's A LOT of yapping
Finch, originally named Farren Van Aalsburg, stands as a 24-year-old pirate whose legacy is intertwined with the notorious ship, The Arbiter.
Known for her ruthless and calculated leadership, Finch's mere approach to piracy would send ripples of apprehension through the ranks of sailors and even unsettle the most seasoned navy officers. The very mention of her crew's arrival was often met with foreboding whispers. In taverns, pirates would share knowing smirks over their mugs of beer, while officers would exchange wary glances. They'd caution one another,
"Retribution's coming."
Farren's lineage traces back to a well-known navy captain, Heimer Van Aalsburg, praised for his adeptness in handling internal conflicts and hailed as one of the foremost strategists in naval warfare. Alongside his family, composed of Farren, her stepsister Hestia, and stepmother Alisei, they resided aboard a wonderful mahogany vessel, embarking on voyages from one port to another.
For Heimer, Farren was the centre of his universe, he couldn't have wished for a better daughter. Their connection strengthened, particularly in the wake of Farren's mother, Julith Ferin's passing when Farren was just four years old.
The bond between Farren and her younger sister was equally profound, they had an unbreakable bond from the very moment they met. However, amidst this familial setting, Alisei nursed a vicious, festering resentment, convinced that Farren overshadowed Hestia in Heimer's eyes. This animosity later culminated in a tragic incident that took place one, stormy night.
In an unfortunate turn of events, Farren finds herself overboard, her desperate attempt to grasp the ship resulting in a severe injury to her right arm. Eventually, the raging waters below are quick to swallow her.
As her consciousness returns, she kneels before a colossal leviathan. The creature presents a solemn pact: it will guide her to the nearest vessel and mend her injured arm, with the condition that she accepts the burden of becoming the guardian of the seas until her last dying breath. An oath that binds her to a life on the move, forbidding her to settle on solid ground or abandon her duty. With hesitation, she agrees.
One fateful day, Skip, a hardy half-orc fisherman, discovers a young girl ensnared in his ship's nets. Swift to lend a helping hand, he extends not only a refuge but a genuine home for the girl, determined to help navigate her through the uncertain future.
Now residing on a small isle, a mere few days were enough for her to befriend a whole flock of zebra finches, who trailed behind her like loyal companions. Considering the girl didn't remember anything, let alone her name, Skip decided that the name 'Finch' would be more than a suitable choice.
Finch grapples with a zero to no recollection of herself and her family. Her only tangible link is a gilded medallion etched with the initials 'J.H.F’ accompanied by a few fleeting memories of her father.
Finch becomes a stalwart protector, earning recognition as the island's guardian. Fueled by an unyielding commitment, she gathers a crew at the age of 16. Two years later, they embark on their first voyage.
Her five years at sea culminates in a fierce clash with the navy, leaving Finch and her childhood friend, Shelby, as the lone survivors. In the wake of the tragedy, Finch confronts a maelstrom of emotions, grappling with guilt, simmering anger, and the rekindling of a long-suppressed fear of the unforgiving ocean.
"What value does a fierce pirate captain, one who commands the treacherous seas yet harbours such fear, truly possess?" - Niklaus, on their last meeting.
Finch and Niklaus have a history of encounters, each one more significant than the last.
Their first meeting took place when Finch was just 16, in the midst of assembling her crew. Niklaus dangled the promise of information regarding her family, but only if she'd abandon her oath. She refused, even poking fun at him the whole time—a stance she maintained on numerous occasions.
The second encounter, at the age of 23, followed a previously mentioned, deadly battle. Niklaus presented her an offer to turn back time, still on the condition of letting go of her oath. Once again, she refused, stating he's a fool if he thinks she'll ever give it up. After a few humiliating attempts at bribing her, he gives up.
A mere few weeks later, their paths crossed once more. This time, Niklaus proposed a lasting solution to banish her deep-seated fear of the ocean in return for a future favour. He pledged to provide a specific time, place, and a duel to be won, one she'd be obliged to fulfil, that is not linked to her oath. After careful consideration, and a few conditions, Finch shook on the arrangement (and still made fun of him the entire time).

Gonna share about a Gay Black Paraplegic Comic Author/DJ now
The Brown Bomber is a sweetly innocent, gay superhero. Diva Flambé Touché? She’s the mysterious, wise lesbian who befriends him. Together, this duo has been saving the world since the 1970s and ’80s—the first of their kind when they busted out back then, into a comics landscape dominated by straight, white superheroes. And they owe their existence to local illustrator, activist, and real-life superhero Rupert Kinnard.
Some changemakers helm nonprofits or foundations; Kinnard is less likely to be found in the boardroom than in a living room, striking up a necessary conversation or connecting people. The sexagenarian paraplegic who DJs in his spare time has been living diversity and inclusion since long before they became buzzwords, shaping the state’s gay rights movement along the way.

BLEACH TYBW Anime Cour 2 Booklet: Behind the Scenes [Translation - Part 1]
Translated by @reikorun
Director's Note × Author's Eye
We pick out several points from all 13 episodes (#14 ~ #26) of the second cour. For each point, pay attention to the explanations by Director Tomohisa Taguchi and the perspective of the original creator and general supervisor, Tite Kubo!
Section 1
Start with Yhwach again
1. A baby being held. As that being, raised up by countless hands, grows and opens its eyes, cour 2 "The Separation" begins. (ep. #14)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
"Let's place the focus on the Sternritter for the second cour", from the early stages, this is what was decided among the staff. On top of that, in order to make a link with the first cour which began with Yhwach reciting the Kaiser Gesang, we thought "let's begin the sequence of events in cour 2 with him as well." In that case, that scene depicting his origin would be appropriate. In the original work, it was drawn in a manner which took a comprehensive view reminiscent of folklore, but I struggled with how to go about creating a similar impression in the anime. As a result, the visual expression became closer to an art film represented through images alone, without the use of any narration or dialogue at all.
A: Tite Kubo
From the moment I laid my eyes on the storyboard for the first time, I had a feeling that it was going to turn out really good. Regarding this scene, there were actually various changes made until we arrived at the final cut, and even the versions we didn't use were very interesting. During the dubbing session, the process of overlapping the collective "Yū, Ha, Vē, Ha" was also enjoyable to listen to.
2. In addition, there was a memorable scene where Yhwach's 'power' was portrayed through a visual representation. This is the scene where a 'shadow' extends from the throne as Yhwach falls asleep, leading to the appearance of Haschwalth. (ep. #18)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
The portrayal of that shadow was an idea I received from Kubo-sensei. In the original work, we were able to gain an insight into the power of Yhwach as well as the connection between Yhwach and Haschwalth through Haschwalth's words to Uryū, but since there was no concrete depiction in itself for the transfer of power, it lead to discussions where we considered that It would also become an element linking to the subsequent cour, so we thought “let's do that in the anime!”
A: Tite Kubo
At first, the manner in which the shadow emerged looked as if it were surging up from below, but viewing it from a choreography standpoint, I suggested that the shadow itself should appear in a sort of sliding manner, giving the impression that it had some mass to it. The transfer of power occurred while Yhwach was sleeping, so in order to preserve the nuance that the transfer to Haschwalth happened while he was in that state, I also had Haschwalth depicted standing with his eyes slightly lowered.
Section 2
Storytelling
3. In the second cour of 'BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc', the war situation changes moment by moment due to the Sternritter invasion, and the outward appearance of the Soul Society also undergoes transformation. As a free-for-all breaks out in various places where enemies and allies intermingle in a state of chaos, the anime adds a scene where the newly appointed Captain-Commander, Kyōraku Shunsui, issues orders to each soldier. (ep. #14, #18)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
One component of that is our desire to include explanatory scenes and scenes where the narrative is refreshed so that the audience are not confused by the ever-changing situation of the war. Another component was our desire to depict the organization that is the 'Gotei 13', which includes Kyōraku who became the Captain-Commander, in a renewed light, and these components overlapped seamlessly.
As a result, I think we were able to depict his status as Captain-Commander inherited from Yamaji, as well as his work ethic. In combination with the scene depicted in the original work that evokes the essence of Kyoraku, i.e. the handing over of Soul Tickets to Tatsuki and the others in the Human World, I'm happy if we were able to successfully delve deeper into the characters.
A: Tite Kubo
It was a really nice scene with both the essence of Shunsui and the essence of a Captain-Commander coming through.
4. In addition to Kyōraku, the appearance of the other troops were added, including Vice-Captains. (ep. #16)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
While the scenario building sessions were moving forward, I realized that I also wanted to depict the Shinigami's point of view as they strive to fight back against the invasion and try to fulfill their duty to the Gotei. Rather than simply portraying the scene, we added a series of shots with the intention of showing the state of the Shinigami who remain unyielding even as the war situation worsens and they are gradually forced into a disadvantageous position.
A: Tite Kubo
Even in a fan service sense, I think the audience enjoyed being able to see a variety of characters in the anime.
5. With regard to the main character, Ichigo, extra scenes have been added, such as the manner in which he received training under Hyôsube Ichibei. (ep. #14 and others)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
As mentioned earlier, the foundational principle for the second cour is to place the main focus on the Sternritter, while that's true, 'BLEACH' is still the story of Kurosaki Ichigo, isn't it? There were some concerns that the number of episodes in which Ichigo does not appear in the anime may end up feeling longer than it was in the original work, so we came up with the idea of showing what Ichigo is doing at the present time. The knowledge that Ichigo was training at the Soul King Palace is also depicted in the manga, so I speculate that even though Kubo-sensei undoubtedly had a concept and an image in his head, perhaps he deliberately chose not to draw the specifics. We had the privilege of making suggestions and consulting with Kubo-sensei about how we would go about incorporating the event into the story; those scenes were the result. In a sense, it's to be expected, but we were able to receive a tremendous amount of material from Kubo-sensei, far more than what we expected…. It made us think, "Ichigo, that's what you were doing in such a place!?'' As a fan of the original work, I was delighted, and I also maintained the feeling that I needed to put all my effort into portraying it.
A: Tite Kubo
About the Irazu Sandō part, I didn't include it because if I tried to draw it in the manga, the scene depicting the agonizing ordeal would span across multiple pages and end up too long. I'm glad that it could be expressed in the anime~!
6. The stage upon which Ichigo undergoes his training, Irazu Sandō. A mysterious and beautiful sight, yet it is also a peculiar place where a solemn air, a stillness and a sense of awe all coexist. (ep. #14 and others)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
There's torii gates, a cobblestone pavement, shide (*zigzag-shaped paper streamers) adorning both sides…. If we hadn't received materials from Kubo-sensei, I don't think we would have been able to find our way to this point. Whilst enduring something which tries to push him away from the approach path, the more he walked, and the more he advanced, the heavier the wooden sword in Ichigo's right hand became. When he walks, he walks by moving his legs forward without letting his feet leave the ground. A lot of detailed images and ideas were provided, such as scenes of rain falling outside the path. This was then projected into anime visuals, and the Irazu Sandō came to a state of completion. I think this is a training ground packed with every element that is typical of BLEACH, down to the smallest detail, and that cannot be found in any other work. We've also incorporated an abundance of elements that will be connected to the third cour and onwards such as what happened to Ichigo during his training and the scenes he witnessed, so I would be happy if you could take another look.
A: Tite Kubo
Originally, the mental image I had was 'a sacred place, but at the same time, there is a sense that one is being cursed.' However, I thought that if I communicated this to the production team, the eeriness might end up being too pronounced, so I deliberately didn't mention it. The impression I had was that it was like an abandoned path. As a result, I think the team were able to capture that balance in the sense that it is a sacred yet potentially frightening place, and thus they were able to express it well.
Section 3
Design & Color Concepts
7. After the invasion by the Sternritter, the sky of the Seireitei was dyed red, and the squad barracks were transformed into unfamiliar, inorganic blue-white buildings. Director Taguchi's production plan is markedly reflected in those colors as well. (ep. #14)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
The main goal was to dramatically shift the setting away from Seireitei in a time of peace. Additionally, the upper part of the frame is red and the bottom is blue, which serve as completely opposite elements in terms of hue, so the aim of the production was to consider how the image could be made into something vivid. After the invasion, the Seireitei became perpetually uniform to that coloring, so there were some concerns about whether it would be acceptable as there are very few anime that employ a color scheme which breaks away from the norm to such a degree. However, we wanted to convey the might of Yhwach's power and also the sense that his power had indeed transformed the world. Furthermore, since blue is also the color of 'Quincy Reishi', I considered that perhaps this extreme staging effect in which the space itself ends up dyed in the colors of the Quincy side would make it easier for viewers to perceive the phenomenon where visually, it no longer feels like the Seireitei = the world of the Shinigami.
A: Tite Kubo
When I first received this proposal for the color scheme, I thought the expression might be too extreme, but the way Taguchi-san uses backgrounds is masterful, so I decided that I would try to leave it with him. I harbored some concern that colors of the characters may become difficult to distinguish, but that aspect was also rendered in a well balanced manner. At various points during meetings and dubbing sessions, I often get the feeling that Taguchi-san is someone who can clearly see the final visual outcome.
8. From the standpoint of color, the attire and laboratory, which Kurotsuchi Mayuri contrived as a countermeasure against the Sternritter lurking in the shadows, are also very interesting. (ep. #15 and others)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
Initially, the glowing Mayuri was only supposed to shine yellow. However, this time, Mayuri's lab itself also shines brightly, so it meant that when we tried to station him there, he ended up blending into the scenery quite a bit. While searching for a way to make Mayuri shine, an idea came from the color scheme designer Gōda-san: "How about a lighting method which shifts into a variety of colors like a gaming PC?" We adopted the idea thinking "it'll probably look great on screen!" We proposed the idea to Kubo-sensei, who readily approved, and it started to take form in the visuals. The colors continuously shifting midway through the plot is an interpretation that can only be represented in the anime, so I believe we were able to exhibit Mayuri's natural presence by using a different approach from the original work.
A: Tite Kubo
This was indeed an interesting portrayal that could only be done in the anime. It's also interesting that it was intentionally made to look like a moiré pattern. After all, this cannot be pulled off by any character other than Mayuri.
9. Mayuri's laboratory is designed to completely eliminate any shadow as a countermeasure against the Sternritter invasion. Evidently, it took a great deal of trouble to express this.
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
It took a lot of trial and error to figure out how to express 'no shadows' in the anime. The most significant factor in creating a three-dimensional effect in an illustration is the contrast of the shadows, isn't it? Given that it was necessary to reject that, we said "there is likely no other way to do this but to test an array of other patterns!" The art staff and I went through the process of trial and error a many number of times. As a result of taking into consideration various opinions that came up along the way, we translated them into the concept of 'creating gradation within the light', ultimately representing three-dimensionality.
A: Tite Kubo
When drawing it in the manga, the way I used to express the idea of 'glowing without shadows' is by erasing around the circumference of what I had drawn. I'm glad that I was able to have it portrayed in such a satisfying manner in the anime too.
10. Hirako Shinji's Bankai, "Sakashima Yokoshima Happōfusagari". A Bankai, which did not appear in the original work (※first appeared in the novelization), is made to enter the stage in the anime, therefore a great deal of enthusiasm has also been poured into its rendition. (ep. #16)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
The bud of Hirako's Bankai pedestal is formed by the petals narrowing inward when open, retaining their form to become the bud, however I thought that if we produced it with cel animation, the petals would inevitably lose their shape, rather, there's a high possibility that it wouldn't look like a rigid object. So, in order to show the precise movement of a rigid object, we deliberately used CG. At first, what I imagined for the texture was a brass-like luster, similar to the lotus flowers used in Buddhist altar fittings. We struggled while attempting to express the feeling of that material and searched for ways to depict it using CG surface reference / textures and such.
11. Many characters have made their Bankai debut in the original series. Ōtoribashi Rōjūrō's "Kinshara Butōdan", and Humanized Komamura Sajin's "Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō: Dangai Jōe" were also portrayed by utilizing 3DCG technology. (ep. #18, #17)
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
I think 'Kinshara Butōdan' managed to incorporate a finely tuned quality that doesn't look like it was made with cels, having said that, nor does it overly emphasize CG elements, rather it strikes a delicate balance between the two. Similarly, "Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō: Dangai Jōe" was also developed in 3D, I think we were able to well execute the way the gigantic body moves freely and abundantly as opposed to the challenges of producing it with cel animation, which is susceptible to making the movement appear choppy. In the story, there are various Bankai, but in terms of compatibility with 3DCG, rather than the type where it's just the sword changing, it's my opinion that Bankai transformations where the appearance changes completely or another entity emerges, is the kind that fits better from a direction perspective. As mentioned earlier, expressing it in 3D has the effect of altering the feel, so you can stress the distinctness and change in atmosphere brought about by performing Bankai. In a certain way, I suppose it's possible to convey a stronger sense of harnessing something that is not of this world. Therefore, from now on, I intend to continue requesting (to those in the field), that one doesn't adopt a cel animation look completely.
A: Tite Kubo
Both were really good. As Taguchi-san also mentioned, I wanted to avoid having the CG elements coming to the forefront in an odd manner. I think CG shines particularly during Bankai transformations that feature inorganic matter. The CG was skillfully utilized, especially in critical moments where traditional animation eventually tends to falter, like when Myō'ō comes in with a slashing attack, for instance, making it quite impressive to watch.
12. 3DCG is not the only technique utilized for showcasing Bankai. The skills of various staff members have also been brought together.
D: Tomohisa Taguchi
Even though I understood the principle behind it, figuring out how to visually represent Muguruma Kensei's Bankai "Tekken Tachikaze" in the anime, among other things, was challenging because how we'd go about expressing that is a different story. While the blades remain in contact with the target, it continues to explode infinitely. It creates the illusion that the punches being thrown are repeatedly landing tens of thousands of times without the arm ever being pulled back from the point of impact, doesn't it? We worked strenuously to express how immense the power of Kensei's Bankai is by doing things like deliberately adding cel style motion blur to make it look as though the opponent was being hit, aiming for a visual effect that makes it seem like he's trembling after being struck multiple times, and using an approach where we incorporated sound effects reminiscent of a drill used in road construction. In terms of his character and Bankai visualization, Rōjūrō is likened to an Opera, implementing theatrical staging such as the rapidly changing movement of his conductor's baton and the lighting. The music attached to the scene also became particularly important, director of audiography Nagasaki-san and re-recording mixer Hoshino-san fine-tuned it masterfully.

Nora Dahl ⋆˚ 𝜗𝜚˚⋆ | Doll of The Damned
art by @ ama_amadoi on instagram <3 !!
Full Name: Nora Dahl Nicknames: Nora-Doll, Doll, etc Species: Human-turned Cursed Spirit, sealed in a scroll and inhabiting a cursed robotic doll. Age: 16 (2006), 28 (2017-Present, when reanimated) She died and became a cursed spirit at age 16 (August 2006), but was sealed until she was 28 Birthday: December 17, 1989 Height: 5’0 (2006) 4’11 (2018) Nationality: American Gender: Cis female Sexuality: Bisexual Romantic Interest(s): Suguru Geto & Satoru Gojo. MBTI: INTJ Enneagram: 4w5
Class: Semi-First Grade Innate Technique: Doll of the Damned (Semi 1st Grade) or
(2018) The cursed spirit, Nora Dahl, is contained within a scroll. If the scroll is implanted within a cursed corpse or robotic corpse, Nora Dahl’s soul can possess the corpse and have access to her full intelligence and abilities from when she was alive. A command or directive is required when reanimating her, and she must complete the directive unless her physical form is destroyed or is shut off– Unless the seal itself is destroyed, it can be implanted within new ‘proxies’ over and over.
(2006 and before) Puppeteer (3rd Grade)
Nora is capable of extending her cursed energy in the shape of strings to connect to the cursed corpses she has access to, controlling them like puppets on strings.
Domain Expansion: Puppet Theatre
Using her domain, Nora creates an all-encompassing dimly lit theatre. Within this theatre, she can hide from her enemy's view from above the stage and use her cursed energy strings to control more puppets down below than she’s normally able to. Her strings can extend further than her usual restrictions when within her domain and are more difficult to break. Swarming her opponent with an overwhelming amount of puppets and blows
Cursed Spirit ‘Name’: The Scroll of Puppetry
Random Facts⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪
Born to a family of non-sorcerers, who couldn't comprehend the fact their daughter could see 'monsters' they were unable to, aside from her Grandfather who once worked as a sorcerer in Japan before retiring back to the States
Moved to attend Jujutsu High after her Grandpa’s recommendation and training. Joining the very same class as Suguru Geto, Satoru Gojo, and Shoko Ieri.
She was best friends with her three classmates.
Smoked with Shoko back in school.
Has an American Southern accent, a Texan Dialect.
The cursed corpses used in her technique resemble those used by Yaga, with her own ‘artistic’ flair.
Once she was first reanimated in her new mechanical cursed corpse form, the command given to her as her general directive was by Geto who instructed her to work alongside him.
The second time she is ‘brought back’ by the school before the Shibuya Incident, her new directive is given unto her by Gojo who commands her to do what she feels is right, as she pleases – allowing her the option to return to the ‘side’ of the cursed spirits and ‘Geto,’ but with that choice she stays and fights alongside the Jujutsu Sorcerers during Shibuya against the cursed spirits and curse users.
The general directive given to her does not override her free will entirely. She is capable of speaking her mind, complaining, or questioning orders. However, unless the body is broken and a new directive given, she must ‘work alongside Geto’ or ‘Do as she pleases.’
During the brief period before her sealing, her ‘true’ cursed spirit form was violent and only capable of repeating the names of her friends, the ones she ‘returned’ to protect ‘forever’ as promised, right?
Even in her ‘doll’ form, Nora still smokes when she returns to the school and has learned of Geto’s possession, using it as a reminder and coping link tying her to Suguru. Remembering the times they smoked together in school, rather than the time she spent with him after her death.
Forced Suguru, Satoru, and Shoko to play D&D in high school. And even tries to get Suguru, Mahito, Choso, and Rini to play with her instead of chess for once.
When she was first ‘built,’ Suguru requested her to look ‘as similar to her before death.’ Including a specific request to have her dark circles painted on, but the outfit he chose for her would be more fitting for the fake religious group he’d formed by then & would keep most if not all of her joints hidden.
Enjoys it when Suguru does her hair, even if she won't admit to it. She does admit to enjoying doing his hair, and pulling it when he pisses her off.
Fights with no worry of hurting herself, or damaging her form after 2017 – becoming somewhat reckless, knowing Geto will just touch up her paint job or have her repaired by Kokichi again.
Walks among humans and blends in relatively well.
She can recite and has the TV shows, and films she enjoys memorized.
Often underestimated due to her smaller, cute appearance. (Both 2006 & 2018)

Base Timeline ౨ৎ
November 08, 1989 - Nora Dahl was born in the southern United States of America. 1996 - She began to see cursed spirits April 14, 2001 - She visits her great-grandfather, confiding in him about the monsters she can see and he reveals he was previously a jujutsu sorcerer. He begins to teach her about controlling cursed energy. June 16, 2004 - Nora Dahl moved to Japan and transferred to Jujutsu High School for the fall.July 07, 2004 - She’d meet her classmates; Shoko Ieiri, Satoru Gojo, and Suguru Geto. August 2006 - The Star Plasma Event Occurs, and she dies just before Riko at the ‘hands’ of Toji. 2006 cont. - Nora Dahl’s spirit is cursed, transforming her into a semi-first-grade curse. Masamichi Yaga seals her within a scroll, which is later hidden deep within the mountains behind the school. Yaga forms the seal with the intentional ability to one day be used as a ‘core’ for one of his puppets (similar to panda, with their own sentience, but this was before he’d figured out how to do so.)
(unless i find out i’m wrong about this – it’s not stated when specifically mechamaru/kokichi muta began to ‘work’ for Geto’s group, so let me have this)
January 03, 2017 - Kokichi Muta is instructed to construct a cursed corpse for the Scroll of Puppetry, and Nora Dahl is reanimated.
(Geto is killed on December 24, 2017 — Kenjaku manipulates and lies to Nora until the following notable date)
August 28, 2018 - After becoming unstable from the revelation of Geto’s death and subsequent ‘possession,’ Pseudo-Geto destroys the cursed corpse in which her scroll resides. October 01, 2018 - The Scroll of Puppetry is mailed to Jujutsu High School by Kokichi Muta following his passing, accompanied by a letter instructing how to reconstruct a mechanical cursed corpse to reanimate her safely. Kokichi did not put his name anywhere on the letter to imply it’d been sent from him.October 17, 2018 - The school reliably builds a new doll for her to reside within, swiftly reanimating her and she is reunited with Gojo and Shoko. October 31, 2018 - Shibuya Incident.
(will eventually write out full-length versions of her important moments both from her backstory and present in the series line & hopefully accompany them with comms !!)

Website and Shop Updates Whoo!

I'm on a roll people! Did a whole bunch of updates to the shop and got all the old stuff put up on the website. You would not BELIEVE the last couple of weeks... so much typing and mathing and editing and organizing. But lots of cool stuff is set and ready to go, so have a good scroll through my clearly-made-for-instagram infographics here and check all the new stuff out! :D
First off! There are 7 new readings in the shop!

We got the Soul Mate Reading, Saturn's Trial, the Solar Outlook, Lunar Outlook, Shadow Shower, Notes On A Past Life, and the Crystal Garden.
The "Need help choosing?" page on the website has been updated and reorganized to include all the new stuff, so if you want a quick rundown on the new ones, have a look here!

Next, I updated 15 old readings, either with new designs or added extended options. The new thumbnails are looking very colorful and juicy~

Old school punchies!! Remember document styles?? They're back and revamped with the new addition of guideline readings and different sizes of closing messages. Very cool, very cost-effective!

Some people who have gotten personal readings over the last 6 months or so have already gotten a taste of the Sprinkles! and Confetti Mix! additives. It started with a random idea I had to make more fortune cards, but like fortune cookie fortunes, which swiftly turned into a giant box of 2,000+, hand-written, front and back, little bits of paper that I started just sprinkling over readings once they were laid out. They ended up working in a really cool way where they'd come together to form full sentences, add more context to specific sections, point out how different sections of the reading connect, and just... Sprinkles! get so dramatic sometimes. I've used them a bit for the BTS Countdown Event readings, so if you wait a bit, you can see them in action!

These are the new price ranges for all the readings that are available in the shop now. With the reading styles in play, the starting prices are much cheaper than they used to be.

YYYUUUUPPP! BMP GIFT CARD! I have been asked a million times if I could add gift cards and I finally figured out how... a lot simpler than I thought it was. You can find it on the regular shop page!

The link is NOT in bio, BUT it is right here and you should go have a look around and revisit some old readings there since it's been gone so long.

D-Link Extender Dropping Connection? - Quick Fix

Looking for practical ways of resolving the D-Link extender dropping connection issue? A possible reason is that it is located outside the Wi-Fi router range. So, relocate the extender within the Wi-Fi range. Apart from this, you must also check the power socket to which your extender is connected if it is providing a stable electricity supply.

Text
To troubleshoot the DLink extender dropping connection, what you need to do is verify the signal strength. Make sure there is any firmware update available for your D-Link extender. Navigate to your extender’s wireless settings and change the wireless channels. Restart your extender and your main router as well. Still, if you have to face the same issue, you can feel free to call us!

love: a diptych is simply lovely ✨✨ your f1 lore knowledge is impressive. what's your process? how did you collaborate with the author? does she give you an outline to research for each driver? does she select the book first or is that after the fic is written? how did you work the lore into the driver research? these are some of the best researched stories in f1. you can make a f1 lore nano degree from this series.
Hiya! Super happy you liked the series <3
I am describing the tl;dr of the process below the cut.
Definitely tell the author with a comment on the fic which is always the best way to appreciate fanfic authors. Just as a fyi, E goes by he/they.
We keep things simple and follow a method E has used in all their fandom works with graphs. So normally I do the research separately and create a graph/fill the graph/extend the graph decade by decade and sometimes at more granularity like year by year or even week by week in some cases like 2021 season for each driver's history. I also have one graph to represent connections between drivers and another one for teams. I also do a catchall one for world events/driver country politics which can be useful for context. It's really systematic and organized but also super easy to work with/super visual. I always add links for sources if it's videos/long interviews, I edit to 1-2 sentences or a small few seconds clip.
E usually works on top of the graph, they write based on where they see good connection density. It actually really works brilliantly as you can see in the series.
We don't really discuss plots/identify characters before I do the research. So it's a two stage process and the stages are separate. I mean E is a pantser so nothing to discuss in terms of plot. But sometimes they can be writing in one area of the graph and they will ask me to check for more information to increase the density there/expand the graph more in that direction. Also the reason I know too much about the hour by hour timeline of the Kyalami Drivers Strike
So stage 1 is research and I do it with the graphs. My main goal is to build a sandbox of canon context so that E can work without canon exposure. Stage 2 is E's magic and how they do it I don't know.
The books are super fascinating! E usually indexes a lot on driver nationality/context and they have a lot of understanding for the political/social context of the decade/year something interesting is happening to the driver. They find the books but IMO it's pretty easy for them and they normally take them from previous reads. In some cases like the Brazil/Senna fic E took a long time to identify a book with strong enough emotional connect for Senna's context in that period of Brazil's history/Sao Paulo/public perception of him/what folks say his actual personality was.
We don't do it for the nano degree :D But that's really sweet of you <3 Personally, It's a super rewarding collab and I feel these kinds of projects are critically important when the world is going crazy. We have to find some positive experiences to stay optimistic and fandom is usually great for that because it has creativity aspects and also community/friendship aspects. For me personally, this saves me from social media doomscrolling a lot and instead I am searching for dead links to 1983 races which is a great way to stay busy/mentally engaged especially when I know my work is going to be used. It's super rewarding and motivates me to put in a lot of effort when I can someone really benefiting from it. One of my fav authors turning it magically into the most beautiful fics I have read + readers appreciating it is really the best reward for the research <3 Simply lovely in the words of a famous boy, oops not a boy anymore :D
#process#researching process#f1#love: a diptych#i cant believe my really basic research got magicked into the some of the most beautiful fics ever

The Cyrus Extended Universe
I love one (1) elf very much. How much? So much that I can't stop putting him in scenarios, spawning an intricate web of AUs, LIs, and slight variations that, while perfectly sensible to me, is a lot for anyone else to keep track of.
This chart & the liner notes under the cut sketch Cyrus Hawke's development across DA2, as well as how I've reinterpreted the character in BG3 with links to fics & character & ship tags uwu
And, of course, there are some things that all versions of Cyrus have in common:
A lover AND a fighter
Sword & shield tank
Loyal as a pup and twice as pretty
Duty comes first, and his first duty is to protect & care for his loved ones
Struggles with his sense of self beyond that duty
Feels like he's always falling short of being good enough & constantly trying to make up for it
Difficulty connecting with his body as more than a line of defense
Sensitive about having his body modified with magic, including benign healing
Fears being made a symbol-- reduced to his armour, his weapon, his title, and made to be the instrument of someone else's will
Has had his kindness and eagerness to serve others taken advantage of
Can't sit still to save his life
Loves nature, gardening, and lavender especially
Stubborn, determined, bad at letting go
Despises injustice and abuse of power
DA2!Cyrus
Playable Elfs Mod
Start of DA2 (25)
Blue!Hawke. Defined by his cheerful, trusting, and giving nature, Cyrus' unwavering commitment to his friends, family, and community make him the brightest light in Kirkwall's Alienage.
But there's a dark side to his selflessness, which his new friends are quick to notice: his overprotectiveness, his willingness to sacrifice himself recklessly and needlessly, his singular regard for the well-being of others at the expense of his own, even the pride he seems to take in his ability to endure pain...
End of DA2 (32)
Red!Hawke. Bearing the weight of Kirkwall on his back has left Cyrus bitter, disillusioned, and tired. As the title of Champion has eaten away at him, he has had to fiercely guard his heart and sense of self, only ever softening for those he loves, to whom he is still ruthlessly devoted.
When Anders asks to pay the price for the Chantry explosion, Cyrus feels he has no choice but to oblige him.
Romancing Varric; QPPs with Merrill and Fenris; besties with Isabela; complicated mutually requited mutual martyrdom exes with Anders
Fics: Little Prince; if i was any closer i could only lose me
Pallybarb!Cyrus (~120)
Oath of Devotion/Oathbreaker Paladin & Wildheart (Bear Heart) Barbarian
Romancing Karlach & Halsin; ending in Avernus with Karlach and Wyll
Cyrus' oath was born out of pure, unadulterated, selfless commitment to those around him-- first the other orphans in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate, and then to anyone he came across as a young adventurer.
Initial unfazed by getting tadpole-d, Cyrus is devastated when he breaks his oath in the Shadowlands, viewing it as a profound personal failure and a sign of worthlessness. With Karlach's help, he comes to understand that neither he nor his value are defined by his oath, and he decides to remain an oathbreaker, despite the heavy absence in his soul.
Fic: h-llowed
Ranger!Cyrus (~250)
Gloomstalker Ranger & Champion Fighter
Romancing Wyll; ending as Grand Duke Wyll's husband
A century and a half ago, Cyrus was a selfless and naive paladin. He swore his Oath of Devotion to the exiled heiress of Iriaebor. Seeing the potential of his blind loyalty, she named him her Champion, and while he helped her reclaim her city, the two became lovers. As a ruler and a partner, however, she was despotic. Kept caged by her for decades, Cyrus eventually broke his oath to kill her.
He fled the city and made a new life for himself as a hunter in the Wood of Sharp Teeth, but he lived there in self-imposed isolation, determined never to let his guard down or let anyone into his heart again.
...Until he meets Wyll :)
Fic: The Cicatrix: The Functional Stage of Wound Healing
Durge!Cyrus (???)
Harbinger Aasimar (mod + head); Ghostslayer Blood Hunter (mod) & Ancestral Guardians Barbarian (mod)
What if you took a guy who has trouble defining himself outside of his ability to bleed and to make others bleed in order to protect his friends... and you obliterated every other reference point by which he might construct a sense of self. Would that be fucked up or what.
He is the sacrificial lamb he is the wolf in sheep's clothing he is the dog guarding the flock
Romancing Astarion & Wyll
#there are also. technically some other variations of da2!cyrus but explaining all of it would require its own chart adopfijdasf#cyrus hawke#cyrus bg3#durge!cyrus

Exploring the Link Between Early Smoking Initiation and Nicotine Dependence – A NESARC Data Analysis
Dataset
For this project, I selected the NESARC Wave 1 dataset, a nationally representative survey focused on substance use and mental health issues among U.S. adults.
Research Topic
I'm interested in exploring whether the age someone starts smoking impacts their likelihood of developing nicotine dependence.
Selected Variables
S3AQ3B1 – Age respondent first smoked a cigarette
S3AQ3C1 – Frequency of smoking in the past 12 months
S3BQ1A5 – Diagnosed with nicotine dependence (DSM-IV criteria)
Research Questions
Does starting to smoke at a younger age increase the risk of developing nicotine dependence?
At what age does the risk become significantly higher?
Summary
This study looks into the potential link between early smoking behavior and later addiction. By focusing on the age of smoking initiation and diagnosis of nicotine dependence, the goal is to highlight how early interventions could change addiction outcomes in adulthood.
Literature Review
Prior research supports a strong connection between early smoking and later dependence:
Kandel & Chen (2000) showed that the earlier individuals start smoking, the greater their risk of developing heavy smoking habits and nicotine dependence.
Breslau et al. (1998) emphasized that younger initiation age predicts more difficulty quitting and higher addiction severity.
Hypothesis
"Individuals who begin smoking earlier are more likely to develop nicotine dependence compared to those who start later."
"Decode the numbers. Discover the story."
