Come promesso questa settimana risponderemo alla domanda "A Che gioco stiamo giocando?" con Cat in the Box, gioco da tavolo di cui abbiamo scoperto i componenti domenica e di cui vi avevo parlato nella scorsa edizione del TG Table!

Ho deciso di prendere Cat In the Box, dallo scaffale delle novità di Hirtemis, perché mi è sembrato un boardgame perfetto da essere giocato d'estate per coinvolgere tutta la famiglia: Cat in the Box infatti è un trick taking, ovvero un gioco da tavolo evolve le meccaniche base della briscola per evolverle!

In Cat In the Box, Muneyuki Yokouchi, ha evoluto le meccaniche della classica briscola "semplicemente" permettendo ai giocatori di affibbiare il seme (in questo caso il colore) alle carte che hanno in mano dopo averle giocate, questa intuizione aumenta esponenzialmente le scelte strategiche, ad esempio permettendoci di scegliere sempre se rispendere al seme di turno rinunciando però a quel seme per tutto resto del round! Scelte, che vedremo ridursi quando per la rinuncia ai semi e per la progressiva diminuzione dei numeri e colori a nostra disposizione, questo ci porterà sempre più vicini al "paradosso" aspetto di game design che congiunge le meccaniche all'estetica "scientifica" del gioco, ispirata al gatto di Schrodinger: il paradosso ci costringerà a chiudere una fase di prese senza che nessuno possa prendere le carte, a concludere il round e a far perdere punti al giocatore che avesse innescato tale paradosso!

Cat in the Box è una piacevole sorpresa che potrà essere un ottimo escamotage per passare qualche pomeriggio estivo in compagnia di tutta la famiglia con un gioco dalle meccaniche familiari ma con diversi twist che lo renderanno appetibile anche ai boardgamer!

Cat in the Box è un boardgame per 2-5 giocatori, per una durata che può variare tra i 20 e i 50 minuti, consigliato dai 10 anni in su di Muneyuki Yokouchi (横内宗幸) con le illustrazioni di Osamu Inoue (井上磨) edito in Italia da Lucky Duck Games!

laura que dica vc dá sobre títulos? tipo a coesão textual…

todo mundo sabe: a gente começa a ler da esquerda pra direita; de cima pra baixo (igual você tá lendo agora)! e aqui vai meus pontos pra deixar meus títulos coesos:

1. colocar o início do título (a primeira palavra) no topo, depois segue descendo.

2. em outros casos, como por exemplo, se o título todo estiver no canto da direita, ele começa de cima pra baixo.

3. SEGUIR A ORDEM DO TÍTULO!

exemplos dos pontos 1, 2 e 3:

1. onde o texto começa:

meu título é “estrelas no céu”

note que nos seis (cima > esquerda, centro, direita / baixo > esquerda, centro, direita), o início do meu título é pelo topo e depois desce: estrelas (cima) > no céu (baixo)

e mesmo seguindo uma “linha reta” (que desce, igual quando acaba a linha e continua em baixo), ele se inicia pela esquerda e fica entendível.

o título continua como “estrelas no céu refletem nossas almas”

2. texto na direita

agora com com um título maior: mesmo estando no canto direito, eu iniciei pela esquerda com a primeira parte do meu título “estrelas > no céu > refletem > nossas > almas” (mas eu centralizei a posição do título)

e agora imagina se começasse pela direita e fosse pra esquerda? tipo assim:

não dá, né? fica feio, geral acha paia.

3. ordem do título

isso é o que eu mais vejo! trocar a ordem das palavras, embaralhando TUDO!!! o início (estrelas) começa no meio, o meio (no céu) fica em baixo, daí sobre pro topo (refletem) e depois desce pro final (nossas almas), isso complica na hora de ler o nome da capa, né?

4. contrariando o ponto 1:

segue uma “linha reta” / título começa por baixo e depois sobe

ou seja: não precisa, obrigatoriamente, que a primeira palavra do título (estrelas) esteja lá no topo (tipo uma pirâmide, onde a primeira palavra é a ponta e o resto o corpo)!

exemplos meus de ‘falta de coesão’:

“e gatões gatinhas” sério laura? isso não tem um pingo de coesão! afinal, você não bate o olhos e lê “gatinhas e gatões”

“4ever me, you and 2 cats” você lê assim, porque o “4ever”, que é o fim do título, não tá em baixo/final

“rock lovers” tá errado, na verdade é ao contrário… “lovers rock” é o título! mas você lê do jeito que tá, porque coloquei o “rock” antes do “lovers” AÍ FICA DIFÍCIL NÉ

agora exemplos de títulos coesos:

“this love” não tá necessariamente no centro ou lá no topo (pode ver que ele vai descendo e depois sobe), mas ele começa pela esquerda (this) e termina na direita (love), então você entende que é “this love”

agora olha esse título enorme: comecei da esquerda pra direita, de cima pra baixo, agora imagina se ele tivesse espalhado ou trocado a ordem (intercalando em cima, baixo, esquerda e direita)? seria impossível de adivinhar o título.

é isso! espero que tenha feito sentido e que eu não tenha viajado na maionese, então perdoem se eu disse abobrinha aff (porque na minha cabeça isso faz muito sentido, ok?), essas foram minhas dicas bases, que eu uso na hora de adicionar um título!

Modern headcanons:

Bubba:

He watches those sensory videos of people cutting up bits of soap, along with makeup tutorials, religiously. It makes him really happy.

Definitely has scented candles and fairy lights everywhere.

His pet chicken has her own instagram account, and he treats her like a queen. She’s managed to become somewhat of an e-celebrity.

He’s probably able to talk to a degree, write and use sign-language, having gone to some sort of school, since education for those with learning difficulties has progressed a lot since the 1970s.

A brony, but fortunately of the wholesome variety that just unironically likes a television show about cute talking animals.

Overall, he doesn’t use the internet nearly as much as his chronically online older brothers, and probably shares a computer with Drayton.

Nubbins

Is a furry. There is nothing anyone can do about it, and although Drayton regularly tells him he’s a degenerate, he refers to his hands as paws. He has an extremely mangy fur suit that he made himself, out of real animal pelts, and looks like some sort of rabid dog type thing, although it's virtually unidentifiable.

Made a YouTube tutorial on how to collect the best roadkill, and promptly got roasted for it online. However, he literally doesn’t care, and just giggles whenever anyone sends him a strongly worded email.

He has been the subject of about 5 Kiwi farms threads, and has somehow managed to become a full fledged lolcow. Again, he doesn’t give a damn and is just living his best life. He’s the definition of “cringe but free.”

Definitely posts his photography on deviant art, complete with out of pocket titles like “Headcheese” and “dead skunk :D.”

For some reason he knows all of the brain rot slang there is to know, and uses it in everyday conversation, much to everybody’s chagrin. Also ends text messages with “Rawr XD.”

Robert/ Chop Top

Total emo, complete with a bizarre haircut and neon green highlights. Of course, this is just a wig; he was injured in Afghanistan, and got his head plate when he got almost blown up by a landmine. Owns a lot of kandi bracelets.

He lurks on 4Chan, and seriously believes he’s well on his way to finding Bigfoot, and pigeons are malicious government spy drones with poisonous droppings. Also occasionally trolls random people.

Instead of loving In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, he listens to Nyan Cat on repeat.

Unfortunately, he’s also a weeb. May or may not own a body pillow, but hides it well whenever Drayton’s around. He owns at least one katana and sometimes just sits in his room making anime sounds and waving it around.

He doesn’t have a Discord kitten, he is a Discord kitten. He’s shameless, and will sell pictures of any part of his body for a few dollars. Bro is broke.

Has watched literally every shock video he can get his grubby hands on. Lemon party, Goatse, blue waffle (by the way, don’t look these up, you might need eye bleach) he’s here for it. Cackles like a maniac whilst watching, too.

Most of his search history consists of the aforementioned shock videos, ���how to talk to females IRL” and “feet pics pretty.”

Drayton

“What is a mee-mee?”

Starts random beefs with other chilli competition contestants on Facebook. These get really heated, to the point of death threats.

Has been hacked about a dozen times, because his password is always “password.” He thinks this is really clever. Sometimes his brothers go onto his account post cursed stock images and ruin his credibility.

Has like 50 tabs open on his search engine at any one time. His computer is permanently on the brink of death, but stubbornly hangs on.

Taking a quick break from Ninjago posting to tell y’all to go play “Of the Devil” immediately. It’s a cyberpunk detective visual novel that’s like if you added Ace Attorney to Death Note and took out the misogyny.

Morgan is a defense attorney who gives 120% to her cases like Phoenix, but she’s also like high key a massive bitch and I love her. She’s up against Emma, the unassuming but extremely intelligent DA, and they’ve got this whole cat and mouse thing in their jobs a la L and Light inner monologue bs lol

The characters and dialogue and style are all excellent, and like any good detective game, it’s got twists and turns.

I just finished the prologue last night, very excited to play episode 1, there are going to be 5 episodes total I believe so looking forward to the ‘Phoenix/Edgeworth but it’s Toxic Yuri’ play out, and can’t wait to see more of Fran, I love them dearly.

Play the prologue first, it’s not just a tutorial, it’s very important you play the prologue, do not look up anything about this game just go play it, the prologue is free.

Shoutout to @ampersandthewiz for forcing me to play this game. Congrats on actually keeping the twists secret this time considering how bad you usually are at lying. My therapist will hear about you for this.

And since I still have nothing to do, I’d like to apologize for not putting up even one tutorial five to six months ago after asking if anyone was interested. Here’s the extreme short version of the amigurumi jellyfish:

Find a good video tutorial on how to make the ball. Leave your starting strand long for hanging.

Crochet until you have 30 stitches, for this size. Then crochet 2 together for one round and tie off. Thread the end into the next stitch to smooth it out and then thread it underneath until it’s hanging from the middle.

For tentacles, I just make 2 long single chains, about 45-50 stitches long, tie off and leave the strands long, then sew the center of each to the underside with the long end strand. Then I crochet two more, about the same length, but turn and crochet back to the start so they’re nice and curly. Then I stitch them underneath on either side of the first two. Let any strands hang once the tentacles are secure.

Make a bunch and hang them all over, preferably with some ultraviolet light, maybe a nice ripple effect.

Under da sea.

Feel free to use as you see fit. No restrictions. Sell them if you think people will buy. Might make a nice mobile.

Also easy to make in other sizes, within reason. Too big and there might be structural issues. Also make good cat lures.

Andrei: Compulsive Twitter user. Lives in and for the Panopticon™ of social media despite only posting pictures of his cat but he's extremely afraid that posting the wrong gifset will get him canceled. Was the objective of a callout post about "straight bf's at pride" because of Dafne

Roco: Every week he releases a new totally not fraud NFT that he promptly pumps and dumps THEN he comes back with a tutorial on how you can also be rich at 20. Every account he has is fake because he's actually on the run for identity theft. It's eventually discovered that his only main account is of one of the actual owners of the site but nothing gets done about that.

Dafne: DA furry artist who is extremely talented at like 15 and makes you feel a bit bad about it. She just got into LGTI+ groups and feels the need to make a callout post every so often on a burner account taking WILD guesses at people's identities. Is actually trying to live exclusively off commission work but recently it came out his dad is a CEO and had to private her account.

Augur: Deleted his account on every site on 2014. He now lurks exclusively on anti-dog and sea knots subreddits. He has a throaway Instagram account so he can compulsively check on his ex boyfriends and they all know it's him but no one has told him yet.

Llüisa: Very inactive poster. Runs a sports/fitness account but doesn't promote any brands, she just tells you to get your ass up and start working out. Somehow has more followers than the other 4 combined despite only posting videos of a 15-mile dog-walking marathon every month.

Baldasar: Only has Facebook and a Linkedin. He finds Minion memes hilarous.

I’m now using Clip Studio Paint for art/animation; I used to use photoshop for art/frame by frame animation, and premiere (and recently, switching over to da vinci resolve instead) for editing/tweening

What’s the difference between an AMV, PMV, and MAP?

AMV = Animated Music Video, PMV = Picture Music Video, MAP = Multi Animator Project (aka has multiple ppl working on it, amv/pmvs typically only have 1 person who worked on it) Sometimes i dont rlly know whether to call my vids an AMV or PMV cause they’ll usually be some animated shots some more pmv shots lol (i think they’d technically be more accurately called an animatic ?) but i like calling mine AMVs if theres some kind of frame by frame animation in there as animatics tend to be just in the sketched out phase n my amvs are more finished with colour n stuff

Questa domenica daremo uno sguardo fugace nella scatola del gatto di Schrö….hem, no nella scatola di Cat in The Box, gioco da tavolo di cui vi avevo accennato nello scorso TG Table, ma poiché non ci avevo capito nulla, non appena arrivato dagli amici di Hirtemis ho deciso di portarlo a casa!

Cat in The Box è un esperimento e board game, in cui tramite un sistema di prese simile alla briscola dovremmo affidare alle nostre carte gatto un colore, prevedere quante prese riusciremo a fare il tutto senza creare paradossi!

In questo video scopriremo solo i componenti di Cat in the Box, ricchi e molto ben realizzati, in attesa che io riesca studiare l'esperimento adeguatamente, per capirci qualcosa, e possa portarvi un a che gioco stiamo giocando!

I'm not really keen on showing my face sooooooo

cream bronzer as a base, put all over the lid (if you wanna go up into the crease you can, just depends on your eye shape and where you like to place things). I find that bronzer makes a nice base for eyeshadow looks. the cream helps the shadows stick and the color kinda automatically matches my skin tone. plus I never do full faces of makeup lol so otherwise the brozer just sits there and I feel bad

gold shimmer in the middle third of the eye. I have a makeup revolution palette I got for like 8 bucks at target

periwinkle shimmer in the inner third and inner corner. this one is actually a highlighter from some Chinese brand. idk because my friend tried it and concluded she would never use it and gave it to me. but she's from China and bought it there. but anyway periwinkle is the best way to describe it

don't blend too much. like you don't want the line between the shimmers to be harsh but you don't want the colors really bleeding into each other much either

eyeliner. I used a pen and did like a little wing. not really a cat or following my eye down but somewhere in the middle

Esse post tem o intuito de falar um pouco sobre os (vários) pacotes que temos para o the sims 4 e explicar mais ou menos como eles funcionam.
