Name Meaning: African Collar of Spikes 

Time: 168 to 164 million years ago (Bathonian to Callovian stages of the Middle Jurassic) 

Location: Third Subunit, El Mers Group, Fès-Meknès, Morocco 

Spicomellus is the oldest known Ankylosaur, and also the first described Ankylosaur from North Africa! But that isn’t even the weirdest thing about it! Spicomellus had dermal spikes, fused to the bone, forming a collar (for which it was named) around its neck. Given that the spike were fused to the underlying bone - something no other ankylosaur does - it is probable that it wouldn’t have had a particularly flexible neck, or an easy time moving in general if the pattern continued throughout the body. It probably would have been around 3 meter long at the most, similar in size to other ankylosaurs from the Middle Jurassic. Coming from the El Mers Group, i tlived alongside Cetiosaurus, the stegosaur Adratiklit, megalosaurs, and teleosaurids. Spicomellus adds to a growing diversity of Jurassic Ankylosaurs, showing how Ankylosaurs and Stegosaurs lived alongside each other for a large period of time (the Middle and Late Jurassic epochs) and that the extinction of the Stegosaurs must have been due to a different, unrelated factor.

Name Meaning: Small Shield from China 

Time: 106 to 96 million years ago (Albian to Cenomanian stages of the Early to Late Cretaceous) 

Location: Liangtoutang Formation, Zhejiang, China 

Jinyunpelta is the earliest known Ankylosaurid to have a proper tail club, evolving sometime around the transition from the Early to the Late Cretaceous epochs. While many early Ankylosaurids are known, this is the first to have the iconic tail club, usually considered a key feature of the group. Known from most of the skeleton, Jinyunpelta had a heavily armored skull, much like other Ankylosaurids. Jinyunpelta was also the oldest known Ankylosaurine, rather that just the first member of the larger family with a club - more basal than Crichtonpelta, and displacing Pinacosaurus as the oldest Ankylosaurine with a club, which was hexagonal in shape from the top view. Unfortunately, little else is known about this taxon - it lived in a sandy environment, with only one other known dinosaur, the Jeholosaurid Yueosaurus.

I made a Google Drive folder to put my KagePro resources (upscaled versions, edits, eventual scans) in that my mutuals can have access to! I'll be cross-posting it to my socials.

I'm not done adding to the KagePro ones yet for now cuz there's literally sm to go through. I'm prioritizing archiving 9/6 and all related ships (Takane/Ene x Haruka, Konoha, Kuroha) due to my favouritism. My wife Ene and her Haruka lookalike harem 🖤💛💙

The KagePro fandom wiki has clearer screenshots than what I can get from the Outer Science MV... I ripped the YouTube videos myself, but comparing the screenshots, they're lighter and clearer than the Original MV posted online...

The only thing that makes sense to me is if the people managing the Wiki (who are also the main scanners/archivers in the KagePro fandom) have access to the Mekakucity V's Blu-ray/DVD that contains the original KagePro Song MVs, and that the Blu-ray (BD) edition has colour corrections applied to it to make certain details easier to see

Like you can actually see the straps on his sleeves, the lines and colours, and the cracked glass texture that's overlayed on the entire MV, much better

The Original MV posted online is already in HD but I imagine it has to be compressed for web upload? It makes me so curious about the Blu-ray cuz the Blu-ray versions would definitely have them in the highest quality possible. Ultra HD.

It's lighter so you can actually see the lines/details better on his clothes (like you can see the lines of the straps on his sleeves) and the details are much clearer

I recently got my hands on Sidu's artbooks and the Mekakucity V's Blu-Ray through secondhand resellings, so I'm SO excited for when it finally arrives <3

I did a quick edit of OP's scans and edited Kuroha's clothes just for fun

I also edited out the note Sidu made that marked the height of Kido's older sister, Rin, who is 165 cm

Takane/Ene = 157 cm (5'1") Haruka, Konoha, and Kuroha/Saeru = 182 cm (6'0")

It was a manual edit I did using CSP's Copy Stamp tool

You can select an area and copy the pattern to do touch ups. It works great.

Depending on the art, Kuroha's either drawn with all black colours that are the same colour, or black outer clothes and a collar, inner shirt, and boots that are a darker black.

I personally prefer the 2nd (with the inner clothes and his collar and boots being darker) cuz it adds more visual contrast to his design, which uses mainly black, gray, and yellow colours.

KagePro Playing Cards: Upscaled Versions (My Edits)

Upon further inspection, I looked at the Kuroha Joker card PFP icons and saw that it must've been from the DMM image preview cuz there was still a bit of the grain/pixelated-ness, just blurred

So I think I know what they did. They upscaled the image so that it gets the image in higher resolution. It blurs the lines subtly, but it reduces noise (smooths out the grain/pixels on the image). It must be the same method that manga scanners use to upscale manga.

Koei Tecmo will release Touken Ranbu Warriors digitally for Switch on May 24, 2022 in North America and Europe, the publisher announced.

In Japan, Touken Ranbu Warriors is due out for Switch and PC via DMM Games Player on February 17, 2022.

hi! i just want to ask where you watch mankai stage? i can't seem to find a source for them anywhere :(

hi there~ thank you for asking this question!!! i’m glad to know that there are people out there who are interested in watching the stage play :DDDD Currently, the only options are DMM and theater complex (https://theater-complex.jp/). 

Both require some form of fee! 

DMM is only for stages that are currently showing (will reblog an explanation on DMM later on so keep a lookout for that!) and it’s kinda like an online cinema. Once the viewing period is over, you can’t watch it anymore. Also, DMM requires some form of VPN if you’re living outside of Japan.

Theater complex is kinda like Youtube but you need to pay a monthly subscription fee to access Mankai Stage videos. Right now, Spring & Summer 2018 and Autumn & Winter 2019 are accessible if you subscribe to theater complex for a fee of 700yen (before tax). However, to watch Spring 2019, Summer 2019 and Autumn 2020, you needa pay an extra fee of 1600yen (before tax) to watch them. Do take note there is also a viewing period of 1 week after you have paid to watch them. Please also be aware that theater complex may or may not require VPN. I am not quite sure as I am able to access the website from Asia, but a friend who lives outside of Asia wasn’t able to do so!

Sense Of Discovery.

A place where there is both nothing and everything.  Only there, it is possible for any lost soul to truly find themselves.  It is the land of stags, lochs and grassy Munro’s. A place where you can hear the mountains cry, and bear witness to the flowing burns as they present the gift of life. It is in this scenic world of unparalleled beauty where I chose to shoot my black and white film project, ‘a sense of’. Of course, I speaking of the ancient and volcanic land of Glencoe.  A place where I always find peace and comfort even in the harshest and coldest conditions.

I can’t deny the fact that Scotland has stolen my heart. I truly feel an intimate and emotional connection deep within myself to the surrounding landscape, and I wanted to capture and reflect this in my series of images.

For me, it is a feeling far greater than simply producing some landscape photography prints. The result presents itself as a fibre-based time capsule of an extraordinary place that will forever live in my heart and memory.

This series will serve as a relic from a previous life that I will hold dear and treasure when I am no longer able to embark on such adventures and daring expeditions.

My fascination and devotion to the land of Scotland is real. A sense of discovery is my way to personally give back to this beautiful country. There is simply no other place quite like the mystical Scottish highlands for creating a moody and mesmerising old fashioned black and white photographic series.

16:00 Loch Leven and the Pap of Glencoe. Boat club location for Sunset (56.680048, -5.1179361) 19:30 Burns Night Supper and guitar recital (!) in Main House and onto Claichaig Inn later 26 Sunday

AM - Later start - Photo walk up the Hidden Valley of Coire Gabhail.

10:00 Meet at the handy A82 Three Sisters car park (56.6678128,-4.9886995) across from the three sisters peaks at the beginning of the walk. Descend to the valley floor from the car park, then across a footbridge over the river Coe. Keep following the well-worn path until you eventually reach the Hidden Valley. Make sure not to miss the river crossing leading you to the valley about two thirds of the walk.

Anyone with a reasonable level of fitness can enjoy this walk. The views are incredible. In some parts there can be steep and rocky paths where scrambling is needed, so it is a medium rather than an easy track.

Distance 2.5 to 3 miles

Alternative Options for those less inclined or able after Burns Night shenanigans:

20:00 Corran Point Astro (56.722367, -5.232497). Park in village. Walk 100-200 metres on A861, past Ferry Terminal. Access gate is adjacent red brick building by Lighthouse. Safety notes - When walking through village avoid any moving vehicles on A861. Avoid any vehicles making their way to the departure lanes for the ferry at the entrance of the site. Avoid the walking over the grassy bank onto the shingle beach, due to tidal waters.
