Idk if anyone's played around with this idea but post-AGIT clone-body Dan visits Amity Park where Dash mistakes him for the real Danny and tries to bully him

which is a huge mistake

because Dan happily gives him the thrashing of a lifetime and strolls away in a really good mood.

Dash tries to blame Danny but no one believes him because Danny Fenton, being able to beat up Dash Baxter?? You've seen how small that kid is right? Dash stop messing around, you got hurt doing something super embarrassing or illegal didn't you? Come on man what was the actual thing you did come on you probably realize that saying Fenton beat you up makes you look worse than whatever thing you probably did right?

Cue Dash trying to prove that Danny is secretly stronger than he actually is, only to be foiled at every turn because Danny and friends caught on to what he's trying to do. Maybe Vlad foils him too cause Dan is supposed to be his responsibility and it was Dan who got Danny into this mess to begin with.

Eventually Dan lets Dash see him with Danny, they explain that Dan is his cousin, but also so Dash doesn't go back to bullying Danny he tells Dash that if he ever touches his cousin again Dan will have to take a hand as recompense.

Dash never bothers Danny again. Maybe he gets to go on a redemption arc where he realizes how trash he's been to everyone below him on the social pecking order and how much those teens hate his guts for it and decides that he wants to change. idk. But he stops harassing Danny.

I just read a Glitch in time and I need to dump my thought’s because I adored it so much.

So first of all ghost obsessions are kind of canonical now, ghosts are made of emotions. Vlad was a desire for love and a fear of everybody leaving him though in his quest for power to make everyone stay he drove them away. And then Danny was fueled by a protection instinct which is why his powers were shorting out during the book, but now he has a new purpose as the bridge between worlds.

Speaking of that purpose I wonder if that ghostly drive is what largely led to the choice he made with clockwork I mean man was literally giving the choice between “loving and supportive family and community but your no longer half dead” and “you get to keep your powers but no one remembers you saved the world so they hate you” and he went “you know what number 2” I mean I get it because they talked about how the device was unnatural and somebody needs to fix it and Danny’s best fit but still he’s sacrificed so much. Though this is fandoms dream since we love the drama and didn’t like Phantom Planet that much. But Valerie remembers and hates his guts which is unfortunate.

Also oh my goodness Dan and Vlad redemption all in the same go? What?! Like his red eyes just dramatically opening and “He’s your responsibility now.” (Vlad finally gets to raise a Danny in his image like he dreamed) Like what? Dan and Vlad spin off when? Seriously this book felt like the beginning to something too many openings for new ideas and storylines were created. (I could go on but I’m going to end there)

I have been thinking... if the human world and the Ghost Zone used to be connected... does this means that maybe halfas used to act as guardians that kept that balance between the two worlds?

Like what if there used to be halfas a long time ago before Danny and Vlad became the new ones? But for some reason they disappeared or went into hiding after the two worlds separated from each other?

One thing that makes me curious is that the room that Danny and the gang went into in Pariah's domain seemed to be accesible only for those that are human/ half human, from what i understand. Sam called it ¨a secret room¨. .... Why a room like that would be the Ghost Zone?

Unless it is a possible hint that this room was intented to be used mainly for halfas or specific type of ghosts since very few know about it.

It would be a very interesting idea if halfas used to be more common many centuries ago but vanished for some reason. And Danny and the others being the new ones their role is to restore balance to both worlds.

Okay so I’ve seen Dan going to Dani post AGIT but not Dani coming to comfort Dan

I just really like that thought that Dani- as a clone of Danny- can understand and relate to Dan. I feel he would have a really hard time adjusting to having a new living body and a new life- both being so vastly different from what he had before- and like hell would he want Danny or Vlad’s comfort. But I feel he’d be more open Dani comforting him, since she too is Danny but not.

Listen- post AGIT is perfect for Dan and Dani bonding and I CRAVE IT!!!

(Also I would like to petition we decide on a platonic ship name for them too- as well as for the 3 of them)

brainstorming ways to make Danny’s ghost form more ghostly without looking like Dan especially now that they’re around at the same time

- Danny is more blue while Dan is more green

- They both have pointy ears and fangs because it’s fun

- Dan is significantly taller. Bro’s got the Fenton genes plus Vlad dna

- I feel like after AGIT the age difference feels less like 10 years? In my mind Danny is 15ish and Dan is like 19-20 ish. Dan’s complicated since he’s chronologically 24 but in the body of a 14 yr old?

- Danny’s got freckles in both forms (I love the alternating seasons hc) while Dan doesn’t

- LET DANNY KEEP THE CHEEK SCAR DAMMIT

- and the obvious one Dan keeps the fire hair

- Danny’s wail is his death scream while Dan’s is more like an angry sob
