One of the most common "rituals" in the nomad community is called (by the anti-nomad media) "wilding". Wilding is when a group of nomads, usually all youths, venture into static society to "see what it's all about." It is a fairly new occurence in the nomad community, but has gained an increasing interest among the youth. Hello! I know a lot of elven lore stuff has been shared with us and confirmed but I was wondering if any dwarf lore or titan stuff maybe has been glossed over or if I just haven't seen anything, thought you might know if so

hello! ◕‿◕ speculation about plotbeats aside, in the marketing/info for DA:TV they haven't really mentioned much dwarf or titan stuff. Kal-Sharok was mentioned here (unclear if that means we are going there or not). The Deep Roads are confirmed as a location that we will visit. this looks like Deep Roads concept art (this one is also interesting). Rook can be a dwarf. creatures that look to be darkspawn afflicted by red lyrium (lyrium being called the blood of Titans) are known to be monsters that we will fight and a problem that we will encounter in the game. Harding, a dwarf, now has unexpected magical powers. given what happened to Valta in The Descent DLC, I [speculation] wonder if this has something to do with the titans.

Okay someone who knows more about dnd than I do help me sort out princess tutu rpg classes. My thoughts so far:

Tbh I could see Duck as either a bard or a cleric. Bard for nonviolent approaches to conflict and a dance focus. That said I could totally see her as a cleric, she’d make a natural fit as the healer of the party and princess tutu could be her deity.

Ok so Fakir has to multiclass in like the most inefficient way right? Starts as a low hp high dps melee fighter and eventually makes the transition to a magic user class (warlock perhaps?? Wizard of some sort?). It’s kind of funny to imagine him as guy who desperately needs a high wis/int but keeps dumping all his stats into strength out of sheer stubbornness. I mean he doesn’t HAVE to switch classes but I think it makes the most sense, he starts in a class that he’s really not suited for and has to transition to what’s best for him even if he’s not happy about it.

Mytho is a natural fit for a paladin tank (though I’d listen to an argument for cleric). He’s throwing himself in the way to protect all the members of the party with no regards to his own safety. Probably dies a lot.

Rue I’m most undecided on. I could see her as a magic using class like Druid (preferred form is a crow) or warlock (makes a pact with the Raven) or even a bard who uses her persuasion to start drama. In a totally different direction, I could also see her as a rogue just to balance out the party; she’s clever, resourceful, nimble, etc.

PLS GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS IVE BEEN ARGUING WITH MYSELF ABOUT THIS FOR AGES

youtube keeps forcing me to look at the fnaf theory community in there and its honestly going to leave me bald those people are fighting for their life. It's all constant attempts at disproving each other but also people being just broken. "The moment the fnaf timeline broke", "the fnaf line that broke us". Someone help these people. timeless!!! my jjk s/i, judas! hes a 25yr old irish fella stuck with a british accent and the innate domain "timeless". hes currently a teacher at a jujutsu school in the west of ireland but has some past ties to the kyoto school.

now. ability lore dump so. timeless. it essentially exposes ppl to infinite time! drives them crazy (almost) every time but requires a ton of energy so it is very much a last resort.

oh and his cursed technique is "phase", which is basically slightly putting himself or other things forward or backwards (out of 'phase') in time. the further out of phase a being is, the more it damages them and is best inflicted using a weapon. he can also use this technique to hide items/weapons on him - even cursed ones. handy!!!

hes technically only a grade 2 sorcerer bc no one has recommended him to upgrade since returning home ~3yrs yrs prior to the events with itadori. judas does return to help with the sukuna stuff once he hears itadori is still alive! and partly cuz he missed the big crisis geto caused the yr before and feels really bad.

and the song is too close / too late by spiritbox! the eternal blue album is a huge insp for him + his look

i dont really read as much fic as i want to and also im so so so particular about how folks characterise Capitano specifically (and the rampant untagged female reader epidemic in the genshin fandom especially (or even writers just straight up lying by saying something is a gender neutral reader and its so obviously female) makes me hesitant to really even try, so i mostly just stick to my own stuff)

hopefully this may be enough to scratch the itch and fulfill the Reasons ehehe...

anyways takes your hands in mine ... maleko is basically capitano genshin but what ive built and extrapolated between the time his design was revealed and now -- i sort of passively decided like a year and a half ago now that he's sort of my Own Little Guy because i dont trust MHY to treat him right . it now also means i can put him wherever i like (there's a rowavolo au that includes him) . he still usually gets called capitano though because . cappy <3

Also brief story/lore dump:

The general order for the group getting off the string and discovering what they were able to do goes by SRS, CW, NSH, and then LttM and FP (and then UI but that’s later).

My current idea is that Sig would be the first to find out about Suns freeing themselves, and so while Suns flies(yes flies) to Winds can, Sig busies himself w/ final preparations to leave for a while in addition to making Moon a new, ocean blue cloak. Btw I’m very aware I haven’t fully mentioned exactly what the iterators are in this au, but for now I’ll just say they were originally built much more powerful than the Ancients ever allowed them to be in present day.

So, considering what's going on with Riot right now, do you think Arcane Season 2 got caught up in all of this restructuring?

Yes and no. Arcane season 2 is part of the reason for the restructuring.

As I understand it, internally at Riot, after Arcane was a huge (and more importantly: prestigious!) success, the decision was made to basically hand the entirety of the game's lore and story over to the Entertainment division within Riot. These are the people in large part responsible for projects like Arcane, K/DA, Heartsteel, that animated series China got, all that sort of thing.

The writers at Riot were basically told to flat out stop producing new content and lore for the game - that's why there's BEEN no new story content for League for over a year - because everything was going to be consolidated under the Entertainment division from now on. This is why Riot started talking about "One Runeterra" and "Arcane is going to be canon" and so on.

The success of Arcane convinced executives that what League of Legends needs is a singular cohesive brand with its most successful public property leading the charge, Arcane is going to be the gateway drug, the hook on the end of the line that brings new players and new paying customers into the exciting world of the League of Legends multimedia IP universe!

Nevermind that Arcane's story and worldbuilding is fundamentally incompatible with >checks notes< the overwhelming majority of Runeterra as it exists and enormous compromises would have to be made to either the world of Runeterra or Arcane itself to make it work. Arcane is the big shiny prestigious mainstream Emmy-award winning project that every executive wants to put their name next to, and like companies Pivoting To Video in 2015 because Facebook showed them inflated viewership stats, Riot Games is Pivoting To Arcane. It's better than them pivoting to crypto and NFTs, at least, although I know for a fact that high ranking people at Riot tried to make that happen too.

Now, the primary cause for all of these games industry layoffs is that interest rates aren't zero anymore. Borrowing money isn't free, the curve of constant growth has ever so slightly slowed, taking on debt is becoming a little tiny bit more risky than it was previously, and corporations are responding to this with massive rounds of layoffs and constriction to show "financial responsibility" and prove to shareholders that they are prioritizing core growth strategies and blah blah blah etc. They're also trying to kneecap the growing labor movement in the games industry and exert downwards pressure on wages, but the interest rates seem to have been the main thing.

In Riot's particular case, a secondary reason is they want to pivot the focus of the company to support their One Runeterra pipe dream, so a lot of the people who got fired at Riot are writers, artists, creative leads and sometimes extremely senior and successful staff who are now surplus to requirements. This is also why Riot shut down Riot Forge in the same round of layoffs - can't have a bunch of talented indie devs going off making video games that don't adhere to the new One Runeterra policy. What if someone played Mageseeker and got confused how there can be mages all over Demacia but somehow there are no mages in Arcane's Piltover and Zaun. That's a plot hole! People write snarky articles about that sort of thing. It turns off new consumers! What if Cinema Sins makes a video making fun of it?!?

So yeah. A bunch of cocaine-addled fame hungry executive vultures at Riot are absolutely gagging on their own d*cks to put their name next to Arcane related projects, and since they were going to be screwing hundreds of people out of their careers, healthcare, and in some cases their fucking visa status anyway, it seems to have presented a nice opportunity to clear the board for their latest Visionary Scheme for the company IP.

That is as I understand the situation, anyway. I'm a bitter old man and most of what I hear is second hand and anonymous gossip through my social networks, take what I say with a grain of salt, but I've followed this company for (oh god) twelve years now and I have developed a tragically keen understanding of how its executive class operates.
