Digimon and Nostalgia
i have a habit of just kind of passing by in the tags sometimes even when i'm quiet, and i'm realizing i don't know how much i've talked about the thought behind why we decided to revisit digimon last february from start to finish.
okay so fair warning, this is gonna be rambly and a little bit semi-incoherent because i feel like absolute dogshit today but the brain worms on the subject aren't leaving me alone to rest.
i am putting it under a read more for all our sanity
so there's this category of post i always see in the tags that seems to come from a place of either not engaging with enough digimon media or not engaging with the media.
that first one is a bit easier to explain. sometimes people will talk about things they want to see in the digimon franchise, and it's kind of clear that they have a very narrow scope of what they've actually seen from it.
i'm trying to think of an example that doesn't put recent posts i've seen on blast lmao (because that's not the point of this post), but also i think some of the points brought up by this post by @starwardking (pardon the tag) highlight the complexity of the first kind of issue, because it both is and isn't the kind of problem that can be fixed by just finding the right digimon media.
when i saw this post, my first instinct was to point to series like savers and appmon, where a majority of the plot takes place in the human world and allows for a lot of mundane shenanigans. i also think a bit about the earlier episodes of tamers.
(i think to some extent ghost game has a bit of domestic life shit going on, but seeing as it is also a horror anime, part of it is about the dissonance between "Normal for Digimon" and "Normal for Humans." but you also get episodes about little hideaways digimon live in in the human world so they can drink tea and share snacks. you also have digimon that just hang out in libraries and shit like that.)
at the same time, this is also an issue i think that isn't fixed by finding the right digimon media. the comparison to pokemon is what makes me consider this, specifically because of something like pokemon amie. it may have just been a minigame, but it's also something that, especially in the video games, i don't think we have a clear parallel to. i do agree that it would be nice to enjoy a bit of domestic fluff with your digimon!
but then i also recognize that i myself have also skipped over games where i could tell there would be some of that. i couldn't finish survive because it has elements i just can't handle either playing or watching. what i do remember in survive is that you have quite a few scenes early on in the school that are about resource management (figuring out how to digimon survive, as it were). this is done while you're also chatting with your human and digimon friends.
which i think segues better into the second kind of issue, being that sometimes i see these posts and they come from an angle where it seems someone hasn't exactly made an effort to engage with digimon as it is. there's a phenomenal video essay by deep dive on youtube, actually, that talks about this with regards to ghost game.
on the most abstract level, are you trying to be cognizant of your biases going into a piece of art when you take it in? what experiences make it difficult to engage with the text in a way that it wants you to engage? can you even see what the text is trying to say, even if it's ineffectual?
this is also why i wanted to tie this in with the reason i decided to make a blog to track my revisiting of all the different series.
nostalgia is killer, and not in a good way.
one of the things we regularly do with media we enjoy enough to praise is revisit it. if it's been over a year since i've watched something and i am trying to hype it up to someone, i want to not rely on my own memory, but also the text of that individual piece of art.
the second form of this issue comes about when an individual has an Idea about digimon, and they post with a very firm stance on what digimon is or is not. it's a retreading i think of the same reason anyone is willing to not consider appmon part of the digimon franchise (despite the "digimon universe" title).
again: what are your biases coming into a piece of art? do you have certain ideas about what digimon is supposed to look like? do you refuse to give other digimon media a fair chance because of it?
this form is more likely to get me to just block someone so i don't have to keep scrolling past them in the tags tbh. there's a mixture of "it was better in the old days" combined with a blatant lack of media literacy when "attempting" to engage with newer digimon media. you see this in a lot of franchises, to be fair, but it is always frustrating.
like i could also be biased because of my own background, being that i have an english degree, but there's something so... disappointing, i suppose, to the latter form of this criticism. if you're going to have a take, i want to see you articulate it. it's not a school assignment, sure, but what in god's name is making you come to that take?
i think the most painful series to see this with for me are savers and appmon, if only because i did rewatch them to better understand why i love them (and also what i really hate about them!).
savers especially is a show i watched because i was interested in seeing if the "MIB but if the aliens were Digimon" series could handle making any statement about the nature of law enforcement! and surprise surprise, it fucking did!
people probably feel the same way any time i post about frontier, which is a series i've been vocal about my dislike about (though i respect anyone willing to try to make frontiers better through their own art and writing). it's been a struggle to rewatch that series, but i also don't want to make strong judgments with firm backing because i know i have not seen it in years, nor have i seen the original sub.
i don't think i have a nice clean conclusion for this. it's an observation i keep having, and i don't think there's any particular solution for someone like me who just wants people to try a little harder to pick apart the things they like. i want people to understand how stories tick, and the things they both explicitly and implicitly say. it's the english teacher in me, i guess.
#digimon#sky talks#digimon adventure#digimon savers#digimon data squad#digimon frontier#appmon#every time i talk about frontier i somehow append an S onto it#same way i used to always call kroger “kroger's”#i keep trying to call frontier “frontiers”#anyways this is long as fuck and you have been warned#-sky

Generate Free Lead List using AI & County Public Data: Property, Tax liens, Permit, Code Violations & Foreclosure Records
Real estate investors, home improvement contractors, and businesses can build robust prospect lists for free by leveraging public data from local county or city websites. Here’s a simple guide to help you get started:
1: Gather Public Data
Most counties and cities update their public records regularly. Look for these key data categories:
Property Ownership & Deed Records
Deeds & Titles: Get details on ownership history, transfers, and any liens.
Tax Records & Assessments
Property Tax Assessments: Review assessed values, tax histories, and delinquency data.
Tax Sale Listings: Identify properties overdue on taxes that might be available at a discount.
Permit Applications & Building Data
Permit Applications: Track projects like roof replacements, solar panel installations, pool additions, or other major improvements.
Code Violations
Code Enforcement Records: Find properties with safety or maintenance issues.
Condemnation & Rehabilitation Notices: Spot properties needing significant repairs, potentially ripe for investment.
Foreclosure, Eviction, & Legal Records
Foreclosure Listings: Locate properties in pre-foreclosure or those heading to auction.
Eviction Records & Legal Filings: Discover data on eviction cases, bankruptcies, or probate proceedings that might signal distressed properties.
2. Export and Format the Data
Depending on the county or city, data may be available in different formats:
CSV Exports: Some websites offer a direct download option.
Online Records: Others display records in batches (e.g., 50-100 per page).
PDF Files: Certain data like tax liens or auction details might be provided as PDFs.
3. Transform Raw Data into Actionable Insights with AI
Instead of manually copying records, use AI tools like ChatGPT to structure your data efficiently:
Direct Extraction: Supply the website URL, and let the AI scrape key details (owner name, address, property status, etc.) into a clean CSV or Excel file.
Manual Upload: Alternatively, copy-paste data or upload PDFs into the AI tool and prompt it to organize the information.
4. Enhance Your Prospect List with Data Append Services
Once you’ve compiled your leads, you might want to add contact details like phone numbers or email addresses. datazapp.com offers a quick and reliable solution to append this crucial information, saving you time and ensuring your lead data is complete.
By following these steps, you can efficiently generate a targeted prospect list from free public records. Whether you choose to harness AI for data extraction or opt for ready-to-use solutions from datazapp.com, you'll be well on your way to smarter, cost-effective lead generation.

What Are Data Appending Services & Why Your B2B Business Needs Them?
Many education and training businesses struggle with outdated or incomplete contact lists. Emails bounce back, calls go unanswered, and promising leads slip away. This happens because databases often have missing or incorrect details.
That’s where data appending services help. They add phone numbers, job titles, emails, and other important information to your records, updating and enriching them. This guarantees that the appropriate individuals are reached by your marketing and sales teams, be it HR managers seeking corporate training or educational institutions interested in new educational initiatives.
Email marketing work better, outreach is made simpler, and lead creation is enhanced with precise data. You make contact with actual decision-makers rather than squandering time on faulty contact lists.
Maintaining current data is essential for educational organizations that depend on solid business-to-business connections. More possibilities, improved engagement, and increased conversions are all correlated with accurate data. This post will explain how data appending functions, why it's crucial for generating business-to-business leads, and how to pick the best provider for your company.
What Are Data Appending Services?
Data appending services help businesses fix and improve their contact lists. They fill in missing details like emails, phone numbers, job titles, and company names. This makes it easier to reach the right people.
Over time, business data becomes outdated. People change jobs, companies switch emails, and phone numbers get disconnected. If your database isn’t updated, your emails bounce, calls go unanswered, and marketing campaigns fail.
Data appending solves this problem. It compares your old records with reliable databases, finds missing or incorrect details, and updates them. This keeps your contact list accurate and useful.
There are different types of data appending:
Email appending – Adds or updates email addresses.
Phone appending – Finds correct phone numbers.
Demographic appending – Adds details like job title and company size.
Social media appending – Links contacts to their LinkedIn or Twitter profiles.
For education and training businesses, this means better outreach to HR managers, schools, and corporate clients. Instead of wasting time on bad data, you connect with real decision-makers.
Why Your Education & Training Business Needs Data Appending Services?
Reaching the right people is the key to growing any education or training business. But if your contact list is outdated, your emails won’t be read, and your calls won’t be answered. Data appending services help fix this by updating missing or incorrect information.
Better Lead Generation
If you’re targeting schools, universities, or companies for training programs, you need accurate contacts. Data appending ensures you have the right emails and phone numbers of decision-makers like HR managers and training coordinators.
Improved Email Marketing
Email campaigns only work if they reach the inbox. With updated emails, you reduce bounce rates and improve open rates. This means better engagement and more leads.
Stronger Sales Outreach
Sales teams waste time on bad data. With correct phone numbers and job titles, they connect with the right people faster, leading to higher conversions.
Saves Time and Resources
Instead of manually searching for updated contacts, your team can focus on closing deals and building relationships.
Keeps You Compliant
Outdated databases can violate data privacy rules. Appended data follows legal standards, keeping your outreach safe and ethical.
For education businesses, clean data means more enrollments, stronger partnerships, and better marketing results.
How to Choose the Right Data Appending Service for Your Education Business?
Not all data appending services are the same. Choosing the right one ensures your contact lists stay accurate, helping you connect with schools, universities, and corporate training clients. Here’s what to look for:
1. Accuracy and Reliability
The service should use trusted sources to update your data. Ask how they verify information to avoid errors.
2. Industry Experience
A provider that works with education businesses understands your needs better. They can help you find the right contacts, such as training managers and HR decision-makers.
3. CRM and Email Integration
Updating contacts should be simple. Choose a service that works with your CRM and email marketing tools. This saves time and reduces manual work.
4. Data Privacy Compliance
Ensure the service follows data protection laws like GDPR and CCPA. This keeps your outreach legal and ethical.
5. Customer Support
A good provider offers help when you need it. Look for one that answers questions quickly and provides ongoing support.
The right data appending service helps your education business reach more prospects, improve marketing, and boost enrollments.
The Future of Data Appending in the Education & Training Industry
As education and training businesses rely more on digital outreach, keeping contact lists updated will become even more important. Data appending services are changing to meet this demand, making it easier to reach the right people.
1. AI and Automation
New tools powered by artificial intelligence (AI) are making data appending faster and more accurate. These systems scan large databases in seconds, ensuring your contact list stays fresh without manual work.
2. Real-Time Data Updates
Instead of updating records once in a while, businesses will soon have access to real-time data updates. This means fewer bounced emails and faster connections with decision-makers.
3. Predictive Analytics
Predictive tools will help businesses find the best leads by analyzing past data. This can help education providers focus on contacts most likely to enroll or invest in training programs.
4. Stronger Privacy Measures
As data protection laws grow stricter, data appending services will need to follow even tighter security rules. Choosing a provider that values privacy will be key.
In the future, businesses that keep their data clean and updated will have a big advantage. Staying ahead with the right tools can mean better outreach, more leads, and stronger relationships.
Conclusion & Call to Action
Having the right contact information can make a big difference in your education or training business. Missed chances result from outdated data, but a B2B data company offering data appending services can keep your records up to date. Having up-to-date phone numbers, email addresses, and job titles will help you reach decision-makers more quickly and enhance your marketing outcomes.
As technology advances, data appending will become even more accurate and effective. Businesses that invest in clean data will see higher engagement, better conversions, and stronger connections with potential customers.
If you're ready to improve outreach, update your contact lists today. Find a trusted B2B data company that meets your needs and start targeting the right people now. Accurate data leads to better results, don’t let outdated information hold your business back.

Campaign Burst Power: Enhance Outreach with B2B Data Append
In the competitive landscape of B2B marketing, achieving a successful campaign burst—an intense, focused push to increase engagement and drive results—requires precision and impact. One powerful tool to elevate your campaign's effectiveness is B2B data append. This strategic process enhances your outreach efforts by ensuring that your contact data is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
What is B2B Data Append?
B2B data append involves enriching your existing contact database by adding missing or supplementary information. This could include updating job titles, adding company details, or even incorporating social media profiles. By filling in these gaps, you can create a more comprehensive and actionable contact list, tailored to your campaign goals.
Why is Data Appending Crucial for Campaign Burst?
Improved Targeting: Accurate and enriched data allows you to segment your audience more effectively. By understanding your prospects' roles, industries, and needs, you can tailor your messaging to resonate with specific segments, increasing the relevance and impact of your campaign.
Enhanced Personalization: Personalization is key to engaging potential clients. With updated contact details, you can craft more personalized outreach, addressing recipients by their correct titles and referring to their specific interests or pain points, thereby fostering a stronger connection.
Increased Engagement: A well-targeted campaign is more likely to capture attention and prompt action. By ensuring your data is current and complete, you reduce the risk of bouncing emails or misdirected communications, leading to higher engagement rates and better overall campaign performance.
Efficiency and ROI: Investing in data append services can streamline your marketing efforts, reducing wasted resources on ineffective outreach. This leads to a higher return on investment as your campaign targets are more accurate and your messages more impactful.
Incorporating B2B data into your campaign burst strategy ensures that your outreach is precise, relevant, and engaging. By enhancing your contact database, you set the stage for a successful, high-impact campaign that drives meaningful results and maximizes your marketing efforts.

I listened to reading of some askreddit threads (don't judge me, it's a guilty pleasure) about doctors and healthcare and I notices some major division on topics when the answers were from the doctor's POV and patients' POV. I'm of course not qualified to draw conclusions from this, nor is Reddit a good place to get data, but here are some recurring points I found where the doctor and patient position appeared to be different.
Doctor POV: we can always tell when people are faking pain for opioids. It's extremely obvious.
Patient POV: multiple doctors accused me of drug seeking when I was actually in agony from stones, appendicitis, endometriosis, a tumor, etc.
Doctor POV: people who try to diagnose themselves are really annoying and counter productive.
Patient POV: I only figured out what was wrong with me by searching the internet after multiple doctors dismissed or failed to diagnose me. Alternatively: I went in with a good idea of what was wrong based on past experiences/family history/ etc and the doctors didn't take me seriously. Some would even refuse to do tests to check if the self-diagnosis was correct.
Doctor POV: the phrase "I know my body" is usually used by people who don't know what they're talking about. We are the ones who know medicine so we can tell if you're sick or not.
Patient POV: I knew something was wrong with me because I know my body and know when something isn't normal. The doctors wouldn't take me seriously and told me nothing was wrong after only doing basic tests.
Again, Reddit is not a good place to get data as the nature of the website encourages people posting more sensational stories and exaggerating or fabricating stories to get upvotes. In addition, most of these stories are likely far from the average doctor and patient experience. However, it appears that there may (emphasis, may) be a disconnect between doctors and patients that involves doctors not taking patients seriously and thinking they know better than patients about their own bodies. It seems like defaulting to thinking patients exaggerate pain to seek drugs and that patients don't have any way of understanding their own health is really detrimental.
Do not take this post as me saying you shouldn't go to the doctor. If you need medical help, go to the doctor. The medical system isn't perfect, but it's the best we have. And go to an actual doctor, not a naturopath, homeopath, or other quack.

1. The First Time Dick Says It
Gotham Docks, 2 AM
A warehouse collapses, trapping Batman inside. The thermal scans show no life signs.
Tim, frantic “We need to call in the League! He’s gone—”
Dick, already digging through rubble: “He’s not.”
Jason: “Are you blind?! The scans—”
Dick, calm as a sniper: “If he were dead, my heart wouldn’t be beating.”
*Silence.*
Steph: “…That’s the creepiest thing you’ve ever said.”
Cass, nodding: “Truth.”*
Bruce crawls out of the wreckage 20 minutes later. Dick doesn’t even look surprised.
---
2. The First Time Bruce Says It
Blüdhaven, 3 AM
A bomb levels Dick’s apartment. Footage shows Nightwing’s mask in the debris.
Damian, voice shaking: “Grayson is… he’s—”
Bruce, sharpening a batarang: “He’s alive.”
Tim: “Bruce, the evidence—”
Bruce: “If he were dead, I’d feel it.”
*The Cave freezes.*
Jason: “Oh hell no. You’re both delusional—”
Alfred, sipping tea: “Master Dick *did* once sense Master Bruce’s appendicitis from three countries away.”
Dick calls an hour later, laughing: “Miss me?”
---
3. Jason’s Breaking Point
After a Joker gas attack “kills” Dick:
Jason: “Face it, old man. He’s *dead*.”
Bruce, not looking up from case files: “His pulse is steady. He’s undercover in Markovia.”
Jason: “*What the fuck* is wrong with you?!”
Dick, over comms: “Language, Jay. Also, hi.”
Jason chucks a smoke bomb at the Batcomputer.
---
4. Tim’s Scientific Meltdown
Tim rigs the Cave with biometric sensors to “study” their bond.
**Tim:** “Heart rates synced 98.7% of the time. Cortisol levels mirror each other. This isn’t love—it’s symbiosis!”
Dick, stealing his coffee: “Or we’re just *awesome*.”
Bruce, reviewing data: “…Fascinating.”
Tim: “NO. Not fascinating! This is clinically unhinged!”
---
5. Damian’s Reluctant Witness
Damian finds Dick mid-panic attack after Bruce is stabbed.
Dick, gasping: “He’s alive. He’s alive—”
Damian: “Father’s heart stopped for 37 seconds.”
Dick, fierce: “Then why am I still breathing?”
Damian stares. Later, he burns his “Grayson is Irritating” journal.
---
6. Steph’s Hilarious Take
Steph catches Dick humming while Bruce is “dead” (again).
Steph: “You’re weirdly cheery for a widow.”
Dick: “Check the news.”
Headline: BATMAN SAVES ORPHANAGE, STILL ALIVE, STILL HOT.
Steph: “You’re both the worst. Marry already.”
Dick: “Aw, you do care!”
---
7. Cass Sees the Truth
Cass watches Bruce and Dick fight back-to-back, movements mirrored.
Cass, signing: “One soul. Two bodies.”
Barbara: “Poetic. Also terrifying.”
Cass: Grins. *“Perfect.”*
---
8. The Family’s Final Verdict
*After the 12th “death” fakeout:*
Jason: “I’m adopting a dog. Dogs *stay dead*.”
Tim: “I’m writing a paper. The NIH will freak.”
Steph: “I’m selling merch. *‘I Survived the Bat-Bond’* tees.”
Damian: “I’m… *grateful*. Do not tell Grayson.”
Alfred: “I’m increasing the sedative dosage. For myself.”
---
Final Scene:
Bruce and Dick, bruised but alive, listen to the chaos from the Cave’s vents.
Dick: “Think they’ll ever get used to it?”
Bruce: “No.”
Dick: “Good.”
They fist-bump. Gotham sighs.
---
Post-Credits:
Jason’s dog “accidentally” destroys Tim’s biometric sensors. Cass frames Damian. Steph profits.

You wanna know what's cool about Corvus Corax? The way he appears before space marines and their primarch.
More beneath the cut.
Konrad Curze: The Night Haunter.
Corax appears before the Night Lords.
==================================
‘My lord…’
Curze silenced him with a gesture. His head came up, sniffing at the air like a hound. ‘We are no longer alone.’
Tovor’s auspex let out a single ping.
‘Weapons!’ commanded Sevatar. The command Claw brought up their bolters.
‘I am detecting battleplate power outputs all around us,’ said Tovor. ‘Multiple returns. Eight at least.’
‘I have clear biosign readings,’ said Manek. ‘By the walls. In the shadows.’
‘There’s nothing there!’ said Vor.
Shadows moved around the periphery of the auditorium. Uncertain target locks flickered over undulations in the dark. White outlines on red lens feeds twisted awkwardly, attempting to find something that did not wish to be seen. The sensorium did better than Sevatar’s eyes. He blinked, but his vision stubbornly refused to see what his armour told him was there.
A single Nostraman rune blinked steadily on Sevatar’s helm display. *Threat.*
‘Draw in. Protect the primarch,’ he commanded. He activated the magnetic binders on his bolter and slapped it to his thigh, and plucked his chainglaive from his back. The command Claw fell back around their lord. Curze remained motionless, disinterested. Bolts racked into chambers. The shadows ceased their movement.
‘I have steady targets,’ said Tovor. ‘Sharing.’
The white outlines flickered on Sevatar’s displays into the shapes of Space Marines in full war-plate. And yet he could not actually see them.
‘Should we open fire?’ said Vor, his voice thick with the desire to fight.
‘Hold,’ said Curze. ‘Lower your weapons.’
Reluctantly, Sevatar’s warriors obeyed.
The shadows rippled. Black armoured Space Marines detached themselves from puddles of darkness, like plastek sculptures rising from tar. Where only targeting data had been before, Sevatar now saw a full squad of XIX Legion veterans, materialising from darkness to fill the outlines painted by his cogitator. His eyes ached, begging him to tear off his winged helm and rub them.
This could not be. Nostraman born could see into any shadow. The Ravens should not have been able to hide so completely, but they had. Occupying a broad ledge that had housed statues, now broken on the ground, the Raven Guard had the higher position. Unlike the Night Lords, they had their weapons raised.
‘You have us at a tactical disadvantage,’ said Curze. ‘I trust neither you nor my sons will do anything regrettable.’ He looked at Sevatar. ‘Am I right?’
‘If they move, take them down,’ said Sevatar. He held his glaive ready, his finger hovering over the activation stud.
None of the Raven Guard spoke. They left that to their lord.
Very little shocked Sevatar. Even for a Space Marine he was solid as stone, unmoved by the remnant emotions his brothers suffered so much from. But when Corvus Corax emerged from shadow far too shallow to accommodate him, he blinked in surprise. Nothing that big should have been able to materialise that way – his battleplate alone should have revealed him; every mark of power armour growled and thumped and whined with activity. Corax’s did not. His armour ran silently, with no grinding joints, no teethitching hum. He appeared from nothing as noiselessly as oil running over water. Masters of fear and pitiless killers all, the Night Lords felt the unfamiliar pangs of disquiet.
Warsuit cogitators redrew the target outline around Corax, expanding it from the legionary it thought it had seen to the primarch he revealed himself to be. With an apologetic flourish, their sensorium aids graced the weak points of Corax’s sable armour with floating recommendations for targeting. The hum in Sevatar’s helm changed pitch as his war-plate reconsidered the primarch’s threat rating, appending a rune of high danger to Corax’s head. It flashed but did not change when Corax removed his helm. The warnings weren’t worth a damn. The primarch would be on them before their fingers could squeeze their triggers, even with the Night Haunter there.
‘Brother,’ said Corax. ‘I come to you without violent intent, but please, explain to me what is going on in this city.’ His voice was soft like the Night Haunter’s, though not as sibilant, and with a more measured tone. Sevatar refused to let it beguile him. The threat Corax made was clear enough.

More than 80 media outlets with forced to issue a correction after running an Associated Press story that alleged that 40,000 civilians had been killed in the Gaza Strip.
An August 18 AP story said that Vice President Kamala Harris had been “vocal” about the need to protect civilians in the Israel-Hamas war, and that the “civilian death toll has now exceeded 40,000.”
But “not even Hamas has alleged that more than 40,000 Palestinian civilians in Gaza have been killed in the war between Israel and the terror organization,” according to the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA), which monitors Arab media.
“While the Hamas-controlled Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported over 40,000 total deaths among Gaza’s residents, its data does not distinguish between civilians and combatants. Israeli sources, meanwhile, estimate that over 17,000 of those killed are Hamas combatants,” it said.
AP appended a correction to its story on August 19.
The outlet also revised the article’s text to say “More than 40,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, the territory’s Hamas-controlled Health Ministry says, but how many are civilians is unknown. The ministry does not distinguish between civilians and militants in its count. Israel says it has killed more than 17,000 militants in the war.”
Media outlets who carried the wire service’s article also issued corrections.
But CAMERA said that NBC affiliates in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York had still not made the correction three days after being notified.

Lower LOD Ankle Distortion Fix (Tutorial)
I've noticed this problem when I was making CC dresses a while back, and noticed it in some other CC clothing packages in game. The problem is about the amount of vertex bones exceeding the amount the game can handle (60) which can cause problems in packages where creators forget to remove excess bones before importing their mesh.
Sometimes this problem can manifest without CC/Mods present (which unfortunately, I don't know how to fix), so this tut is only if you've noticed it with certain pieces of CC or your own.
Programs Needed: Blender 2.79/3.X+ and Sims 4 Studio.
This is what worked for me! (Instructions below.)
*****BEFORE YOU START*****
Download the free addon "Remove Unused Vertex Groups" and install it to your Blender version using the instructions. This is essential for the tutorial.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Instructions
Start a new package. The old bones are already introduced/ corrupted. I usually use a swimsuit since the texture is just painted onto the body. For this example, I'm using yfBody_EF01SwimsuitOnePiece. Save it on your computer as a package, then export your desired LOD (I recommend 2 and 3.)
2. Press TAB button to go into Edit Mode. Separate dress and body with P.
3. Delete body.
4. Select all of the dress by pressing A and remove unused vertex groups from dress under the "Vertex Data Properties" tab.
5. Append new LOD x body through File > Append > yourfilename.blend > object > and select all available s4studio_mesh_X. If there is more than one, join them by selecting all of them and pressing CTRL J.
Press CTRL V and remove doubles (ver 2.79) OR press M and merge by distance (ver 3.0+) from it.
6. Delete unused vertex groups from the body.
7. Delete any part of the body that is covered by the mesh (like how the old mesh was before). Toggle x-ray mode to make this 10x easier.
8. Join dress and body with CTRL J.
9. Remove unused vertex groups one more time from the joined mesh.
10. Assign cut numbers (GEOMS) and save. Check in game if the issue is still happening by scrolling out really far.
11. Import back into S4S and save.
12. Load into your game and see if it still occurs! (LOD2 + LOD3 zoom outs respectively).
#idk whether this problem has been batch fixed already but i hope this helps in the meantime#finally this is out of the drafts </3#resources
