#Debunking cc lies

At this pt dreams being so confusing on purpose I am legit just gonna start debunking shit starting rn.
Also dream saying "I hate the internet and hate how cruel everything is right now. No one wins here no matter the result."
Hate the internet = hate that I am being called out for disgusting behavior. This is proven by his now deleted tweet about how he doesn't really care about all the things he's been called out for and how he's conflate all accountability with "anti lies"
Hate how cruel everything is right now = cruel to who? To dream? See above. Cruel to the victims, definitely, but he doesn't actually care about the victims. All of his statements now and forever prove that.
"No one wins here no matter the result" = "I am minimizing myself to seem with no power in this situation". If dream keeps his platform, a fanbase, and ccs continue to bolster him and put him in events he wins. He wins 100%. He wins against "antis" he wins against his victims. He wins against accountability. He financially and reputationally holds a powerful platform. This is a statement to make it seems like he cares about the harm done to the victims without actually saying that because the rest of his statement is direct verbal harm to the victims "she's mentally unstable" for example, to the person who was given permission to tell the victims story, "this ruins my vacation" in regard to Anastasia.

I keep seeing this argument of "Oh the sisters all had a previous love interest before they ended up with their actual endgame mates" and people comparing Tamlin & Nesta's random one night stand to Azriel.
Which is absolutely crazy. This can be debunked with ONE piece of evidence:
Azriel got a POV. The entire Elriel interaction is told from his POV in the bonus chapter.
Tamlin was arguably the only love interest in ACOTAR. He was very much a main character. And yet, all their intimate moments (and all their moments) are told from Feyre's POV. Tamlin did not receive a POV, despite being the main love interest in book 1.
Feyre might've had a previous love interest (Tamlin) before Rhys, but that LI did not receive a POV.
Now let's look at Nesta. Nesta was on a self-destructive spiral where she slept with half of Velaris before she ended up with Cassian. And yet, not a single one of those men received a POV. She even considered Eris for a split second - did he get a POV?
Even though Nesta had previous love interests, those LIs - again - did not receive a POV.
SJM has now continued the pattern, pairing Elain up with Graysen first, and then Lucien. Despite their uncomfortable interactions, the fact that Lucien is Elain's mate makes him a love interest by default. Even if Elain doesn't want him, he's still an option.
They are already mates. And yet - Lucien did not receive a POV.
Just that alone should be enough to prove that Lucien, despite being one of Elain's LIs, is not the ENDGAME.
Despite everyone knowing Elain's book is next, who received a POV in the BC?
Azriel.
We all saw hints of Elriel throughout the books, and in the Azriel BC we confirm he feels strongly for Elain. He loses sleep over thinking about her, he can't stand to be around her mating bond, he's questioning his religion for her, he desires her sexually and would beg on his knees for a taste of her.
And SJM does not write MMC POVs thinking deeply and fantasizing about women that are not endgame. Especially, not in ACOTAR.
She likes to write her MMC as completely devoted to their LIs. Even if you take CC for example, Hunt was still in love with Shahar in the beginning, but any intimate or fantasizing thought he had was about Bryce. Any shred of lust he felt was for Bryce.
This is again, similar to the Nessian bonus chapter we received before their book. We receive Cassian's POV of an interaction with Nesta, perfectly setting us up to read their story in ACOSF.
Everything from the attraction Cassian feels for Nesta down to him feeling like touching her was wrong is exactly how the Elriel interaction went down.
It is basic logic, people.
3 Archeron Sisters, 3 Bat Boys, and their respective POVs.
Genuinely at this point I'm wondering if antis have ever taken an IQ test because they might actually fail the pattern recognition section if they can't see what's right in front of them.

All across the corporate media today, there are stories attacking Cuba and its revolution. After protests took place in the city of Santiago over blackouts and food shortages, the Biden administration is hoping to provoke a crisis inside of the country. But the hardships in Cuba are the making of the U.S. government itself. This is a tried and true tactic of the empire. In the run up to the infamous 1973 CIA coup in Chile that overthrew elected president Salvador Allende, the Nixon administration’s strategy was to “make the economy scream” to erode support for the government. But Cuba doesn’t need to go back to the days of being a colony of Washington and Wall Street – what Cuba needs is for Biden to end the blockade!

hiiiii i saw your post about the new dr**m vid addressing the allegations and i understand why you hate him and i dont fault you for it AT ALL. but i simply want to understand your thought process with an open mind. I’m simply curious as to why you think his evidence presented in the video was “shit evidence” (im not defending him ir anything) and what do you believe is “proper” undeniable evidence? I’m just wondering thats all. Have you watched the whole video? (Again, im not forcing you too, im just curious) he has used his legal teams and has used proper timelines and everything to prove that he did not sext anyone at all to my knowledge. What else would you want him to do in order to prove his innocence after that?
As for your point about bringing up other creators, i believe he was simply trying to point out double standards, which.. well he didnt have to honestly (i understand what you mean). However, this also means that it would be wrong for the people mentioned in the video to bring up dream unwarranted, but clearly, no one cares if people like philza randomly bring dream up to throw a jibe at him during his streams which again proves the double standards.
As for quackity, yes dream was in the wrong, but he merely mentioned him to apologise (which i can understand if you dislike)
i simply am wondering why despite dream having enough evidence to sue amanda, you dont believe him. I understand you are a minor and you would understand court situations and stuff, but what else do you think dream can do to mitigate such false allegations?
have you ever paused to think why the general community had such a positive response to the video? Do you believe with your whole chest that you, as a 14 year old are so knowledgable, that whole adults who are capable of filing court cases are dumber than you and are simply blindly defending dream?
again, im not saying you are wrong, or anything, i just want to understand your though process. thank you ! Have a nice day :)
He knows the power he has with his fans, because he has most definitely seen the way they will support him no matter what— How he tweets a simple “I love you guys” after someone exposes him and they all rush to support him? I fully believe he used that knowledge when making his video + He is a power tripper.
I do believe he debunked the stuff with Amanda. But his “statement from Jamie,” there is literally no proof that Jamie actually said that. What he used with that statement is something that can be faked really easily & given in the start of the video he said that he lied about multiple other things, how am I supposed to believe that that’s seriously Jamie saying that?
And the reason people are so upset at him for bringing up Philza and his wife, Kristin, is because he used them as an example of CC’s interacting with fans, to defend himself. Phil & Kristin have around a one year age difference, and Phil had anywhere from like 3-10 viewers when Kristin found him. And the only reason that she did find him was because she worked with kids who liked minecraft & she wanted to know about it. Them becoming close friends, then dating & then getting married is not even close to what Dream was & is being accused of. Dream is being accused of sexting minors, and Phil & Kristin are not even CLOSE enough to be a good example to use as a defense.
Not to mention the things he didn’t go over in the video? His history of racism, antisemitism, sexism, etc. Why would he go over the speedrun cheating thing but not things that are far more important? So maybe even if the allegations are fake— He’s still a fucking horrible person.
I also think it’s disgusting how he put victim in quotation marks for the section of a video that his a “statement from Jamie.” Like actually disgusting to make it “A statement from the “victim.”” Like what the fuck.
It’s also weird how just less than half the video are dedicated to the allegations. He spent more time not talking about them in that whole autobiography length video. And, yes, I did watch the whole video.
And another thing, he knows what his fanbase is like. He knows that they will go on doxxing sprees on anybody who so much as utters something negative about their precious dreamy. But you know what Dream did in the video? He picked and chose what names to blur out, he blurred the names of people who defended him but anyone who wasn’t had their names put on blast to millions of people— Millions of his freak, dickriding fans.
So yes, I may be 14, and I may not know everything. But despite that I can still see when somebody is literally a disgusting human being!

You are missed, CC! There has been so much hilarious stuff happening this week when Meghan and Harry pulled that Diana 2.0 car chase stunt through Manhattan in New York City. You'll be chuckling and shaking your head at the same time! Take care of your health, CC, and then come back to tumblr when you feel better. :)
May 20th Ask
Hi Nonny,
Thank you for the kind words and the support. :) I missed all of you as well.
That car chase was unbelievable. The sheer stupidity of thinking that their lies would not be called out, at least by the ordinary person on social media if not by anyone else. The Harkles really do live in their own little world. I was very glad to see people debunking everything that they said, so the truth was known. It's about time that happened (again) with those two (I say again as it happened after the Oprah interview as well, and probably other times that I have forgotten).

Not the same Anon but some things I wished he had addressed considering he said he was gonna cover everything:
-Past Racism (KKK edit, the Native American tweet) it’s honestly extremely strange to me that these weren’t covered in his video considering they were pretty big controversies
-That one tweet about doxing, he talks about how he said getting doxed as someone without a following and how he shouldn’t have said that which is good but doesn’t talk about the tweet where he says he gets satisfaction in watching other ppl private their twitter. I personally think that tweet is way more damning because “it’s less bad for ppl who don’t have a following to get doxed” is way easier to just pass off as a badly worded opinion then “I like it when people who criticize me are so badly harassed by fans that they have to private their twitter” is
-Talks about how doxing is bad and ppl r parasocial but doesn’t openly acknowledge the multiple times his fandom has gotten ppl doxed, such as quote retweeting a minor who didn’t like his plushie and causing them to get harassed of the internet. Yes he acknowledges doxing is bad, but I think this could’ve been a very good moment for him to look at a specific situation where his fans reacted FOR HIM and say “this was bad don’t do this” which I think would be far more effective than a general “doxing is bad”. He could also acknowledge his part in getting this person harassed because he absolutely did not need to quote retweet them to a fandom that is known for doxing. No dream is not responsible for his fans doxing ppl, some fans will do it even if he condemns it that’s not his fault, BUT refusing to acknowledge the reality that there is an vocal part of his community that does this this and therefore just calling out other ppl without critically thinking abt how his fan base will react to it is harmful.
-His fans age, we all know who dreams primary audience is and it’s primarily teenagers, I’m not saying no adults watch him or that he needs to cater to children when he doesn’t want to, but I think it’s incredibly stupid to act like his audience isn’t consisted largely of that demographic. Everyone lies on YouTube age, when I was 7 my age for my YouTube was 21. I just think it’s a weird point to focus on when it’s very much not true.
-the “I love miners” joke in the middle of his grooming allegations that literally happened like a month ago and proves that in the some vain of blaming his (alleged) victims of not taking SA/ grooming seriously that he is ALSO not treating the situation with the gravity it deserves.
-Liking negative tweets about other creators (Tommy and quackity). I know he confirmed there’s another person running one of his fanart account (I don’t know if these r the same accounts, sorry) but either way I think it’s irresponsibly to either 1. Be publicly liking things that shame other creators and create more vitriol and hatred between fan bases or 2. Not tell this girl to stop liking that stuff?? I think after repeatedly seeing her like stuff that either encourages shipping or hatred towards other ccs he should have set some rules with her about what she could like if he didn’t agree with what she was liking.
-The 24 page document, I just wish he’d gone more in depth with document other than looking at one part going “it’s not true!” And then moving on. I think it would’ve been so much better just to actually go through and debunk the whole thing if he was able to.
-The weird sexual “jokes” made towards minors such as Tommy and Tubbo’s little sister. Yes they were “just jokes” and they don’t make him a groomer or a pedo, but a lot of them are superrrr uncomfy. The one abt Lani especially makes me uncomfortable, sexual jokes made towards you pretty much always suck, and I don’t think this makes him irredeemable but he should at least acknowledge how gross and uncomfortable this kind of humor is and try not to repeat it. If you aren’t aware of these jokes there’s a video by technoinnit on YouTube called proof/clips of dream making sexual jokes abt minors that I recommend watching
Yes he has addressed a lot of these before not in the video, but like he’s addressed everything else in the video before too?? In my personal opinion dream really focused on the stuff that I feel is easier to make himself look good for or just apologize for in general. Sorry if this is long I just wanted to address why each of the things he left out felt harmful to his argument because while I feel like a lot of the hate towards dream is often way too much or uncritical there are things that are important to criticize him for and ppl are acting like this video has absolved him of all his misdeeds or whatever when I very much feel that a lot of his video is less of an “apology” or and acknowledgement of his own faults then a “yes I guess I’ve messed up a little bit but look at how hard my life is and that’s why I acted that way” (not saying that the stuff he and his family have gone through isn’t bad, but the doesn’t excuse all his behaviors)
Wow hiya sorry ive taken a couple days to reply, here now tho :)
First read, wow "vitriol", never heard or seen that word used before. Will remember that one for my literature paper next month.
But that's really in depth, thanks for takin the time to explain it all out anon
Brief impressions:
-Making sexual jokes w friends is vibes, but there's deffo a breach of normality if you're making jokes to minors (Dream making jokes to Tommy n Tubbo u said?) And omfg, jokes at Lani? Wild as hell, esp when i can pretty firmly assume they wuldnt b close AT ALL, that's j blatantly uncomfortable regardless of all other circumstances which make it seriously fucking disturbing
-Yeah, the way the Dream fandom can dox is crazy. It's some serious skill but used in such a vitriol way (did i use the word correctly, here?) It does feel a wee bit hypcocritical if he's saying doxxing is bad and then posting the @'s of Tweets from Anti-Dreamers without blurring the person's username, considering i feel like in that scenario he's sort of opening the table to online harrassment n possibly doxxing if shit really hit teh roof....
-Liking negative tweets ab other creators is so SNAKY! Idk if any Dream followers know Locked In/Footasylum, but guy called "Nightscape" on YouTube did this after going on Footasylum's reality show "Locked In" and got absolutely blasted for being "snaky" and "backstabbing"... And tbf, i think it's quite clear there's not much friendship between Dream n Tommy anymore, but ya gotta have some class or even just basic dignity to not do this shit...
Just some brief thoughts on what you've posted n what I've seen so far, cheers for giving the info dump, anon 👍

I agree with you, he'd be better off sending cease and desists to all these smaller CCs and big twitter accounts gossiping about him than making a video
they are gossiping bc he talked about the allegations again though. like it fucking sucks that he has the worst reputation lately but it was NOT that bad a month or two ago. people are so angry at him bc they saw clips of him talking about the allegations again.
dream is just extremely stupid and he puts himself in these situations all the time i feel. he went against a lawyer's recommendation by talking about the allegations without showing ANY proof, of course its gonna be extremely badly received and now a ton of people are just making shit up and on his case again.
i was just telling a few ppl earlier but i truly dont get WHY he wanted to talk about the allegations again when he has no proof and no legal case against her? i truly thought that he waited a year bc he was suing her or some shit but nope he just sat on the logs for months and months. even claimed publicly that the gorgeous message is potentially faked when it barely took a few hours for his fans to debunk that...
the gorgeous message being faked was probably his biggest proof bc if she lied and faked one message he could say that she faked even more but now he's just kinda fucked. 😭 guess we'll see what he shows...
also him saying that he has proof that she was still a big fan a week before accusing him but then saying he didnt know she was a fan, but then there's a screenshot of her saying she was groomed by a youtuber a whole month before she talked about the allegations i think? like if he tries to make a timeline i think it could get debunked so fast too

Ron DeSantis' Ukraine Aid Lies Debunked
Despite DeSantis’ arguments that aid to Ukraine is going to bureaucrats and pensions, the vast majority of aid is military equipment. The financial aid is primarily going to help Ukraine maintain critical services. By: Conor J. Hi, thank you so much for answering!
The following is a link to theories on BrycexAzriel on Reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/crescentcitysjm/comments/tao6hp/i_think_i_know_who_azriels_mate_is_and_its_not/
I believe there are more, but I can't find them now. I think I've kind of debunked the second theory on this list. SJM held the live with her friend while she was editing CC2 and CC1 was already out. The first book already confirms that Bryce was born in 15010, so this really could just be coincidence. I've read on a post that Bryce was born in January, however, but I'm re-reading CC so I'll have to confirm that.
Thank you for sharing this link! I’m sorry it took me so long to respond—I’ve been busy with family stuff lately and this turned out longer than I anticipated. Please keep in mind these are just my thoughts in response to your original question and the theory you shared. Warning: TOG, CC, and ACOTAR spoilers are below.
(1) Date
The date is an interesting connection, but I think you’re right that it might just be a coincidence. I couldn’t find anything indicating January after a quick search; if anyone finds evidence to the contrary, be sure to share.
(2) Prophecy
While I agree that there might be more to the prophecy involving the Starsword and Truth-Teller, I don’t see evidence that it indicates Bryce and Azriel are mates. When the weapons are mentioned in HOEAB, we learn they are paired weapons that work together:
Ruhn shook his head. “The sword doesn’t work like that. Aside from being picky about who draws it, the sword has no power without the knife.”
“The sword was part of a pair,” Ruhn said to him. “A long-bladed knife was forged from the iridium mined from the same meteorite, which fell on our old world.” The world the Fae had left to travel through the Northern Rift and into Midgard. “But we lost the knife eons ago. Even the Fae Archives have no record of how it might have been lost, but it seems to have been sometime during the First Wars.” [HOEAB]
The knife was lost during the conflict that Theia and her family were involved in. And when the paired sword and knife reunite, the Fae people will be reunited as well:
“It’s another of the Fae’s countless inane prophecies,” Bryce muttered. “When knife and sword are reunited, so shall our people be.”
We see this reunion play out at the end of HOSAB: Bryce lands in Prythian, Azriel brings her to meet the IC, and that is when the Starsword [Gwydion] and TT glow together.
“What the fuck?” The knife could have been the twin of the Starsword: black hilted and bladed.
It was its twin. The Starsword began to hum within its sheath, glittering white light leaking from where leather met the dark hilt. The dagger—
The male dropped the dagger to the plush carpet. All of them retreated as it flared with dark light, as if in answer. Alpha and Omega.
“Gwydion,” the dark-haired female whispered, indicating the Starsword. [hosab]
Ruhn indicates that the sword doesn’t work without the knife, so we have a hint that they might do something special together. Sarah describes them as twins, the Alpha and Omega [meaning, the beginning and end]. Opposing forces that create balance is a recurring theme in her multiverse. In HOSAB, Hypaxia uses this balance to summon the dead:
“It’s a symbol of balance,” she explained, moving away a foot, but keeping the dagger at her side. Her crown of cloudberries seemed to glow with an inner light. “Two intersecting triangles. Male and female, dark and light, above and below…and the power that lies in the place where they meet.” Her face became grave. “It is in that place of balance where I’ll focus my power.” [hosab]
And before the crossover, Feyre envisions this balance between Elain [light and life of dawn and spring—the beginning] and Azriel [shadows and terrors of night and death—the end] when they hold the knife together and their eyes meet. TT, which is later described as dark light, is the bridge of connection between them: their dark and light meet and create a blend of the two.
“This is Truth-Teller,” he told her softly. “I won’t be using it today—so I want you to.” […] And now, standing amongst the sighing meadow grasses in his Illyrian armor, all seven Siphons gleaming … Elain’s eyes widened at the obsidian-hilted blade in Azriel’s scarred hand. The runes on the dark scabbard.
Elain looked up at Azriel, their eyes meeting, his hand still lingering on the hilt of the blade. I saw the painting in my mind: the lovely fawn, blooming spring vibrant behind her. Standing before Death, shadows and terrors lurking over his shoulder. Light and dark, the space between their bodies a blend of the two. The only bridge of connection…that knife. [acowar]
Their imagery mimics the reunited weapons, and their behaviors are repeatedly paralleled [see twining souls, two sides of the same coin, and a perfect blend]. When Azriel offers TT to Elain, her eyes widen just like they do when she watches the display of his shadows. I’ve always wondered if she was just impressed or if something more is happening that we can’t see or hear. @offtorivendell, @merymoonbeam, @psychee92, and I have theorized that TT might sing for Elain like the Starsword sings for Bryce. You can read more about those links here:
Will Elain Archeron become the shadowsinger’s knife? [@offtorivendell]
Sing me [@merymoonbeam]
The space between [@wingedblooms]
Why Elain giving back TT is significant [@psychee92]
So, if more is going on here with her expressive eyes, does Elain recognize the blade from a vision? Is it singing to her like the Harp sang to Nesta? Does it call her sister? Starborn and Made fae alike are able to animate Made objects and are viewed as kin, creating a unique connection between Bryce and the Archeron sisters [who bridge the divide between mortal and fae, have been blessed with unique powers, and landed in the Night Court for a reason]. Could that reason be related to Theia’s line? Have the descendants of Theia’s daughters finally been reunited as well as the Fae in general? Some of us suspect that the Archeron sisters may be connected to the unknown daughter of Theia. Theia’s family took an active part in protecting Prythian when they realized they were lured to Midgard by the Asteri. Is it possible that Fate has brought Bryce and the Archerons together in the Night Court for the same reason? At the very least, Rhysand and Ruhn seem to be related [likely through Avallen as they have similar magic to the Night Court, and/or Starborn heritage].
I believe Sarah wants us to remember the TT scene between Azriel and Elain because she brings it back up in ACOFAS [the book that sets up future stories]:
“You honestly think he’d ever give up Truth-Teller?”
“He gave it to Elain,” Mor said, admiring a moonstone necklace in the counter’s glass case.
“She gave it back,” I amended, failing to block out the image of the black blade piercing through the King of Hybern’s throat. But Elain had given it back—had pressed it into Azriel’s hands after the battle, just as he had pressed it into hers before. And then walked away without looking back.
Mor hummed to herself.
To me, that hum seems like Mor is humoring Feyre rather than agreeing with her. Sarah also brings up other scenes between Elain and Azriel in ACOSF and I believe it’s because those moments are still relevant to the plot and whatever exists between them. We have many unresolved questions. Why is Sarah repeatedly drawing connections between them? Why did Azriel feel so strongly about rescuing her from Hybern, and then specifically remind his friend about it? Why did he give TT to her after refusing to let anyone else touch it for hundreds of years, only for her to wield it like a beast with spectacular precision? As someone who hears things others do not, did he suspect it might sing for her? Was the knife itself drawn to Elain, and is it bound to return to her? Or might Bryce wield both when she returns to Midgard? I have a feeling that, like the Starsword, only those who are considered kin [Made or Starborn heir] can animate the dagger and wield its power. @offtorivendell talks about the potential connection between Bryce [light] and Elain [sight] in a reblog of Hope shining through the Void. Might they work together with other members of the IC? Bryce’s light flowed into the Starsword and activated it before she killed the unkillable reaper. And Elain just…stepped out of a shadow behind Hybern and dealt him a death blow with TT. Did she activate TT with her sight so she could appear at the right place and time in order to strike true? Truth-Teller does represent dark light, and Elain’s sight may be activated by darkness like others with power of sight in Sarah’s multiverse. This would be very interesting to read in the crossover.
(3) Mates
I may be missing something in the theory, but I don’t see evidence that bearing the prophesied weapons means Azriel and Bryce are mates, especially when Bryce and Hunt have already accepted each other as mates.
So … maybe they were already mates, by that Fae definition. Maybe Urd had long ago bound their souls, and they’d needed all this time to realize it. But did it even matter? If it was fate or choice to be together?
Even if they weren’t mates [though I’m fairly sure they are because, like Rowaelin and Feysand, their scents and magics merge when they are intimate], I’m not sure it would truly matter. They chose each other. And just to make it more interesting, Sarah tore them apart [like she did with Rowaelin and Feysand] and sent Bryce on a mission in which she is desperate to save her mate. It seems likely she will rescue him with support from Hel and maybe [since she’s dropped a hint about an army traveling with the power of the Trove] Fae she has reunited with in Prythian. From a narrative perspective, I’m not sure what purpose another mate reveal in a different world would serve in the story at this point. But I do think we will see love for her chosen mate propel Bryce forward and inspire her to do the impossible, which is another recurring theme in the CC series.
So, in terms of predicting what is coming next [theory-wise], I think Bryceriel is unlikely to happen based on the available evidence, but I have no problem with people exploring or writing about it as a ship. Fandom should be fun and people should be able to ship what they enjoy.

Conservatives Spread Anti-Vaccine Lies Immediately After Damar Hamlin Collapsed
The right flooded social media with debunked claims after the football player went into cardiac arrest on the field.
Tumblr media
Within just an hour of Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin’s sudden collapse on the football field on Monday night, far right figures seized upon the tragedy to spread anti-vaccine conspiracy theories on social media.
During a Monday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals, 24-year-old Hamlin went into cardiac arrest after tackling another player. Medical personnel administered CPR on the field and restored his heartbeat, after which he was transferred to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
As players and coaches of both teams gathered, some shedding tears and others circling in prayer, and fans expressed concern over Hamlin’s condition, figures on the far right immediately began spreading unproven claims that the COVID-19 vaccine was responsible for Hamlin’s collapse.
“This is a tragic and all too familiar sight right now: Athletes dropping suddenly,” said Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on Twitter, referencing a conspiracy theory that has been spread by right-wing pundits and Republicans like Sen. Ron Johnson (Wisconsin) that COVID vaccines are causing athletes to die on the field.
Other far right figures — including conservative former candidates for political office, pundits and anti-vaccine figures — also joined in spreading the lies. “Prior to 2021, Athletes collapsing on the field was NOT a normal event. This is becoming an undeniable (and extremely concerning) pattern,” wrote far right activist Lauren Witzke, the failed Republican nominee for Senate in Delaware in 2020.
Platforms like Telegram were flooded with similar comments, with some accounts citing disgraced cardiologist Peter McCullough, who has falsely touted ivermectin as a cure for COVID-19, after McCullough said in an interview that the vaccine was related to Hamlin’s collapse.
This anti-vaccine conspiracy theory is based on lies about the effects of the vaccine. There is no evidence that the COVID vaccines cause such sudden and drastic health problems on a widespread scale — and, in fact, it is contracting COVID-19 that causes people’s risk of cardiovascular disease to soar.
Though it is rare for athletes and young people to experience problems like cardiac arrest, it is still possible, and has happened in many cases before the pandemic ever set in; medical experts say that in young athletes, it is usually due to undiagnosed underlying heart problems, which may go undetected as a result of a lack of access to quality health care.
Research has suggested that professional football players are especially at risk of heart issues, due in part to the fact that football players are often encouraged to gain weightand use anti-inflammatory drugs to reach peak performance. Since Hamlin’s collapse, some commentators have called for higher scrutiny on the violence that is not only common but also encouraged in the sport.
The NFL players’ union emphasized that Hamlin’s health should be the foremost priority, especially after the NFL appeared to have taken over an hour to officially suspend the game after Hamlin collapsed.
“The NFLPA and everyone in our community is praying for Damar Hamlin. We have been in touch with Bills and Bengals players, and with the NFL,” the NFL Players Association wrote on Monday. “The only thing that matters at this moment is Damar’s health and well being.”

Research has suggested that professional football players are especially at risk of heart issues, due in part to the fact that football players are often encouraged to gain weight and use anti-inflammatory drugs to reach peak performance. Since Hamlin’s collapse, some commentators have called for higher scrutiny on the violencethat is not only common but also encouraged in the sport.
Best response to this I’ve seen. “Anti-Vaxers, you may want to just sit this one out”

Just wanna say that I'm so happy you are here in this fandom! And I can say the same about so many other Clotis that joined the fandom in recent years! Y'all did so much for this fandom, stopping so many lies from Cleriths, and spreading what is actually canon everywhere. Everyday y'all are making the Clerith Cult look dumb af, and more people in this fandom are laughing at them and realizing how stupid they are. Please keep going!!! :D
I just don't get how these dumdums have managed to keep a death grip on the fandom for years when they have fuck all proof. Their lies are debunked within seconds of finding the right ulti page, so wtf have people been doing this whole time letting them get their way?
Tumblr media
This person is a noob clerith and buddies with the cult, but oh look, she went and checked out CC and realised those asshats were lying to her. She can still ship clerith, although idky anyone would want to cause it's gross af and goes against canon in every way possible, but at least now she'll know it's fanon and not canon and won't be embarrassing herself.
This is what happens when information isn't withheld. The cult prevent people from getting info to fuel their busted lies and truck the entire fandom into buying their bullshit cause they hate Tifa.
That's all it is, they hate Tifa and hate canon.
Too fucking bad for them CCR is coming and they can't stop the flood of canon info that's coming with it.
Their lies are sunk deeper than the Titanic.

Heaven Forbid....
According to tinhat-logic ala Cassie, Darren “essentially asked for fics featuring a gay couple and he heavily implied he was aware most fics are very explicit in nature” (No, he “heavily implied” that he’s seen explict fanfiction written about him or Blaine and thus he KNOWS how explicit and fictious they can be). “But we’re to chalk it all up to him being sarcastic, and acting (No Cassie, you are to chalk it up to him being a grown up who is very comfortable with his sexuality and who enjoys risque banter and making a joke). “Funny, he was replying as himself last night, not a character” (No Shit Sherlock. .He’s sexually comfortable and he knows who he is. He’s happily married, loves “elegant hedonism”, and is flirty AF... but he’s not gay). “Heaven forbid they open their minds to the possibility that maybe, just maybe, he’s somewhere in the gray area between sexual attraction being to only one gender, my personal beliefs aside” (Oh, the irony of Cassie labeling us in need of “opening their minds”. Nobody here is scared or threatened by the thought of Darren being gay -or as she is suggesting here, that he’s bisexual. We are open to all possibilties. The fact is NOTHING he said during the Hollywood Twitter Watch Party raises the possibility that he’s gay or bisexual nor has he said or done anything over the past 10 years that raises the possibility that he’s not straight. This isn’t about are inability or unwillingness to SEE him as LGBTQ+, the trope relies on the tinhat obsession with SEEING gay-or I guess now she’s aiming for him being bisexual-  in EVERYTHING he says or does. The tinhat fandom has lost sign of rational decision making and. thought processes; they have become conspiracy theorists quite skilled at twisting everything into confimration bias). It’s really sad, especially since we are being bombarded with COVID virus misinformation from our goverment. It’s time to repost Nadia Creeks’ important op-ed on conspiracy theory beliefs. First you can see Cassie’s entire post and then below that wil be Nadia’s op-ed.
**************************************************************************
Anonymous asked: Wow. After reading some of those comments to DC, they really don’t get him, do they? Totally their loss don’t you think?
Cassie responded: Nonnie, they have no idea. I love that they think it’s fine for him to look like he’s in love with LH, because she has the parts they want him to be attracted to and that he was being sarcastic. First, he’s allegedly a married man, so displaying love for another person is wrong. Two, HE chose to retweet the comment and add to it. Three, he essentially asked for fics featuring a gay couple and he heavily implied he was aware most fics are very explicit in nature. But we’re to chalk it all up to him being sarcastic, and acting. Funny, he was replying as himself last night, not a character. Heaven forbid they open their minds to the possibility that maybe, just maybe, he’s somewhere in the gray area between sexual attraction being to only one gender, my personal beliefs aside.
*************************************************************************
myklaineisperfect  asked:With all due respect miss but there’s a difference between conspiracy theory and speculation. I feel really sorry for people who never question things and always take everything at face value because they usually are not the sharpest from the bunch. I don’t hate people who support Chris-Will/Darren-Mia’s relationship. I just avoid them at all cost. But there’s one thing I really hate, I hate people who hate someone because of what he/she ships. That’s it!
Nadia responded: Okay, look, I am going to say this ONCE, because I did not come looking for this fight, all I did was leave a simple comment on a post written by a friend who generally agrees with me about these things. I almost never engage the real-life shipping wars, but if you think you can silence people who disagree with you by coming into their inboxes and insulting them, you have got another thing coming.
The personal lives of celebrities are none of your business and should be none of your concern beyond what they choose to share. If you spend large chunks of your mental energy trying to prove that a celebrity–any celebrity, of any sexuality–is dating B when he or she claims to be dating A, then you have misplaced priorities in your life. It is not a fun, harmless game. It is a dark mindset that fosters negativity toward the celebrity you claim to support and the people they love in their real lives. These are not objects or pawns in a game. These are real flesh-and-blood people with feelings, and the culture you create is anything but invisible to them. Even if you are not one of the ones tweeting at them, you are giving support and encouragement to those who do.
And it’s not harmless to you, either. You’re creating a mental world for yourself where you believe that people have to hide and feel ashamed when in real life, there is no reason for them to do so. The world you think you see does not exist. You are denying a reality that is obvious and that gets more and more evidence with every passing day. You are tricking yourself into seeing patterns that are not there, by obsessing over small details and ignoring a mound of evidence for the opposite, true conclusion. That kind of thing can and will pour over into areas of your life that do matter. Denying reality in any area of the world is a dangerous game that can and will impact the rest of your life.
Darren and Chris do not need fans to “support” their personal lives, in the sense of encouraging, celebrating, or obsessing over them. They want to live their personal lives in peace. They are completely open about who they are dating – Darren is dating Mia, and Chris is dating Will – and they share glimpses of that sometimes, in the form of photos, acknowledgements, joint travel with their partners, polite words to fans, and so forth. The reaction they want is a smile and a click of the like button, just the way your friend from seventh grade does when he posts a picture of himself with his girlfriend on Facebook. That is it. That is the whole, entire thing.
Consider, for a moment, what evidence would convince you that Chris and Darren are not and have never been dating. What could either of them say or do that would convince you that the entire thing was imaginary and never happened? An outright denial by both of them? Marriage to other people? The two of them never seen hanging out together after Glee? If you can’t think of anything at all that would have the power to convince you that your theory is wrong, what you have is not an evidence-backed theory, it’s a religious belief.
Stop kidding yourself that you’re smarter than other people. You’re not smarter. You’re denying reality, ignoring evidence, and conveniently forgetting the importance of Occam’s Razor.
Crisscolfer is a fiction. If you think it is real, you are wrong. Go back, start from square one, and just drop it. It is wrong, it is harmful, and I have no tolerance for it. End of story.

I urge people to stop going to accounts like Georgia's on twitter or any other account that help instigate this stupid ship "war" with Taekookers. The proper way to handle Taekookers is to ignore them. That's not to say they should not be called out on their b.s. but any account actively looking for stupid Taekooker comments is fueling and instigating. She in particular did the same thing when she had a CC. She would constantly post the nonsense from them instead of ignoring them. Giving them attention just fuels and spreads the idiocy even more because most of us don't go searching for taekooker nonsense. We enjoy the content we get and stay ignorant to what awful things they're saying and lying about. Like I said, if you see them spreading lies, of course correct them, but to search and retweet those comments all so people can get mad and some even doubting Jimin and Jungkook's bond no matter what their status actually is, they seem very close so to doubt that because of ridiculousness is annoying. I don't want to see what taekookers are saying. I don't think it's healthy at all to be so involved with what they have to say. And I'm kind of sode eyeing any account that claims they have no problem with Tae and Jungkook's close friendship yet will post Tae with any other member but Jungkook. Things have just gotten so toxic and I'm just sick of people running to accounts that blog about Jikook every time Tae and JK interact because they now view this whole thing as a competition because they're either looking for the dumb things taekook shippers are saying or involuntarily being exposed to it because certain accounts are tweeting about it. I've had to unfollow Jikook accounts I enjoyed and leave group chats because I refuse to be exposed to that toxicity any longer. I want to enjoy my BTS fan online experience. Enough of the negativity ya know?
Do Georgia and other accounts like her, instigate the ship-wars in our fandom? I don't think so. These ship-wars always existed, and they are not the result of some specific accounts' activity. But it's undeniable that there is more toxicity in the fandom right now than it was before, which is the inevitable result of growth in the number of fans and shippers. Naturally, when there are more shippers, there are more toxicity and more ship-wars.
Ignoring doesn't work, Anon. They do fallacy to debunk Jikook and always end up disrespecting JM or JK or both. Accounts like Georgia bring these tweets to Jikookers tl by quoting or replying, and seeing them might be hurtful for most of us, which is understandable. But I don't like to stay in my "echo chamber", I want to know what happens outside, I like seeing the topics from different points of view and analyzing (not that type of analysis) them with open eyes. If someone doesn't want this, I don't blame them, they can block any account they don't like and live in their jikook paradise, but it doesn't make the hates disappear.
We can't stay silent when they call JM horrible names every time he approaches JK. We can't close our eyes on big accounts spreading false and fake information. You say calling them out is necessary, but have you ever done it to their faces? How did they take it? I guarantee you that I have one of the most peaceful and unproblematic jikook accounts of this fandom, but I have been attacked multiple times only for posting Jikook, let alone debunking lies or fake stuff, that's why I'm not active anymore and found my safe place here. Taekookers are three times more in numbers and 10-times worse in being toxic. Every time they feel defeated (Jikook having big moments or taekookers' lies debunked, etc) they use their aggressiveness to turn everything into a nightmare, a war, a war that they know they will win because they have the numbers, and in Twitter and social media in general, only numbers matter.
I don't defend Georgia. We have been moots way before she became a big account, I'm not a friend of her, and I don't approve of everything she does or tweets. Her CC was problematic and she got rid of it thankfully. She does hype Tae's ship moments which makes you think she doesn't like Taekook if your focus is only on Taekook, but she also doesn't tweet about Vmin, or any other ship including JM or JK except Jikook because she believes that's the only possibility, and I don't see anything wrong with that. I don't deny that there are several accounts with toxic behavior between Jikookers and they don't deserve the platform they have, but I'm only talking about Georgia here.
Georgia is not the source of toxicity, and you should not jump on the bandwagon just because Taekookers and non-shippers don't like her. She doesn't spread fake news, she doesn't make analyses and doesn't make money like Taekook-lives. She earns nothing except hate and harassment on daily basis, and I admire her strength because if I was her, I would have deleted my account a long time ago. If half of Jikookers had only 10 percent of her stamina, antis wouldn't become this brave in hating Jikook. We have given in so much, and they felt safe and free in hating Jikook. Many unproblematic Jikookers left or lost their accounts in the last few months because of harassment, today they come for Georgia, the next day might be my turn, or yours until none of us left.

Disney Debunking 5: Ursula isn't the Villain of The Little Mermaid?
So... I've joked (a LOT) that The Little Mermaid started a new trend at Disney: one in which the true "villain" is trauma from bad parenting. Moana's dad is so overprotective and controlling that it borders on abuse. Maui's parents tried to murder him because his eyes are too close together. Anna and Elsa need years of troll therapy because of King Agnarr. Tiana actually had wonderful parents, but her dad maybe miscommunicated some life lessons before being killed. Fa Zhou goes from being a loving parent to Mulan to getting caught up in patriarchal B.S. King Triton is a raging, controlling racist until he immediately regrets losing his shit at Ariel and doesn't know how he can apologize to her.
But I've read way too many posts and articles actually defending Ursula as a good octo-person.
Tumblr media
Hahaha, no. That witch is evil.
So here's how those Ursula-defenders are wrong.
1.) "Ursula was a feminist fighting the patriarchy of Triton's Atlantica".
A feminist is someone who advocates that women deserve equality with men, at it's basic core. Is Ursula trying to fight to bring equal rights to the mermaids of Atlantica? Fucking no! She wants to turn everyone into emaciated shrimp. She manipulates and hurts people to gain power. She wants power only for HERSELF. Triton isn't oppressing her because she's female. Triton is oppressing her because she's an evil and power-hungry criminal. That isn't her first emaciated shrimp collection. Ursula is a feminist like Cruella is an animal-rights activist. Or like how I'm a disciplined Sims 4 cc creator. 😅
2.) "Ursula is offering Ariel freedom and a choice, unlike her father King Triton."
Lulz, no. Ursula is manipulating an abused teenager into signing a contract that Ursula sets up to fail. Everything Ursula feeds Ariel is a fucking lie, and then she steps in as "Vanessa" to straight up sabotage Ariel. This argument is delusional. You want to tell me next how casinos are designed to give us the freedom to become millionaires? All Ursula's contracts are scams. I don't even understand how anyone can be dense enough to think otherwise...
3.) "Ursula is right about everything she tells Ariel about all men, and Eric even proves it true at first."
Tumblr media
Okay, so... These people clearly didn't watch the movie. Props for even getting Eric's name right by googling it, I guess.
Sure, some men don't care what a woman has to say and only understand "body language". One of them is named Gaston. Li Shang's soldiers also fall into this camp, until they actually spend time around a real woman and realize that they're, y'know, people too. There are sexists out there, for sure.
Eric is not one of them.
I'm forcing myself to not dive too deep into this, since that will be another post. But Eric literally is not romantically interested in Ariel at first. I mean, he was for a second when he thought she was the amazing woman who saved his life. But when losing her voice rules that out, Eric loses all interest in Ariel... Outside of wanting to help out and befriend this shipwrecked stranger.
Eric only starts to have feelings for her after Ariel manages to show her personality without uttering a single word. She shows Eric that she's fun-loving and adventurous when they explore the city together. That's not "at first". You need to also remember that Disney romances are ALWAYS sped up because of the runtime. You have to suspend your disbelief a bit for the fairy tale to work.
Sorry, but it's not okay to assassinate other characters so you can justify one character that you like. That's my main beef with Maleficent: I can only enjoy it in the mindset of "I'm watching Villain propaganda right now." And let's be honest: that actually makes it even better. I love unreliable narrators.
Cruella avoided this by creating new characters to be the antagonists. Sure, Roger is kind of a dick. But... He's always been a bit if a dick. The lawyer thing was weird, but it doesn't destroy his established character. Not sure why Cruella is going to end up kidnapping puppies, but...
Tumblr media
I'm getting off-topic.
My point was: I'm worried about the new Little Mermaid movie. Not the black mermaid thing: there are dark-skinned mermaids in the Animated Series, so those incels are factually wrong. No, I'm worried that Ursula is going to get morally-whitewashed to justify her actions, like they did to Jafar. And Jafar suuuuucccckkkkked. Dude was boring. He was the second biggest crime of that remake.
The first being that Friend Like Me wasn't a 90s Will Smith rap... a la Men In Black and Wild Wild West.
Please just let Ursula be outlandishly evil. That's WHY we love her. Let her be manipulative, power-hungry, and fabulous.
I don't think they're going to.

debunking @zlixlriffs posts of xornoth allegations cause he is a blatant liar and a xornoth anti and should be deplatformed
1. Stealing bones allegations
Tumblr media
not only zlix had to DOXX cc!Xornoth despite them saying they want to keep their location private, but he also LIED about them stealing bones. cc!Xornoth addressed those allegations weeks ago and proved it was a lie in this stream.
2. NFT allegations
Tumblr media
now this one is just not true! they were just participating in the NFT trend GNF started, as multiple xornoth stans said. zlix just blatantly lied about it to their followers to make cc!Xornoth look bad.
cc!Xornoth literally donated 50k + to Trevor Project and Team Seas. they would never do that.
zlix just hates that cc!Xornoth is one of the few openly nonbinary ccs that got famous. #cancelzlixlriffs

i think i just saw the same post that other anon was talking about, the one of the person saying they're gonna be "better than dream" and raise money for the trevor project, basically - it popped up on my dash from a mutual from an old fandom, and like, the op of the post (which had 3k notes) literally said "if dream won't raise money for lgbt youths in need..." uh... he uh. he kinda Did Dude. at least 50,000 dollars actually, he uh... did that... very openly... and you can confirm that with One Google Search, a few minutes at most of scrolling through his alt tweets... it's all Very Easily Accessible Information! Right There! but uh... okay i guess! whoo!
(totally feel free to ignore this ask if you want btw, i just saw that stupid post and it really made me so :( i don't care if people dislike dream/any cc, i care when it's based on and continues to spread complete, easily debunkable misinformation y'know? it's so frustrating and above all Stupid...)
It's so frustrating. I try to approach it from a more practical lens, the one that emphasizes the problem with misinformation being passed around as fact in the grand scheme of things, but y’know what it also fucking sucks as a fan of his. If you hate him so much you're gonna threaten people and call us every awful word under the sun, at least have a valid fucking reason. Ugh.
I try not to go to the bitter place because it just sounds whiny but if I see one more post constructed out of literal lies with not even a remote sort of basis... head in hands.
