Linn of the River Dee above Braemar, Scotland.
The name “Strath” means land hollowed out by a river, and it came from my great-great grandmother’s maiden name, Strathdee (land hollowed out by the River Dee, which is in the Highlands in Scotland, west of Aberdeen and Dunnottar Castle).

A few more things on my modern fantasy verse
Deirdre's visions rarely are spontaneous. They would need to be great calamities that provoke the death of thousands and alter world history to suddenly hit her with the knowledge.
Luckily, the visions aren't explicit. They present as a sequence of images that require interpretation and, if she were to explain to others what she saw, few would see the relation between the visions and the actual prophecies.
She'll never say anything that involves the economy or politics. She only answers to things related to supernatural events or what the clan requires to know.
Hasn't looked into her own future and never will.
She's acquainted with the following demons (of the Ars Goetia): Purson, Vine, Barbatos, Gusion, Eligos, Berith, Flauros, Gremory, Vassago, Ipos, Gaap, Aamon, Raum, and Botis (aka all that do divination).
Deirdre has known them since she was little and they technically are her true teachers as they taught her how to interpret her visions and, to this day, still present her with riddles and the like to test her abilities.
Don't try to go against a prophecy, that'll just make it worse.
As soon as he was able to, Cú opted to live on his own, away from the clan. His apartment is on the outskirts of the city and looks normal for the most part but has a similar security mechanism to the House of Danu.
Often has a bunch of small magical creatures living with him. The majority were rescued from trafficking (being sold as exotic pets or for the harvesting of materials) in missions. He nurtures them back to health before releasing them where they belong.
On good terms with the local (highly weakened) fae. Leaves little offerings every week and hears them talk of back when they were powerful beings that played tricks on (or killed) humans and not pixie-sized beings with barely any magic. He sometimes gets told some interesting gossip in return.
Has a dragon egg that he fiercely protects and no one knows about (as it would expose that dragons aren't extinct like many believe). He's actively trying to find a dragon so he can hand over the egg before it hatches. Help.
Makes a mean stew.
