Day 10

Hey Everyone!

Today is 12th September, my mother’s birthday :) So a very Happy and Healthy birthday to her. Since, me and my mother are lowkey people, I started the celebration wishing her at Midnight. Today early morning I made her breakfast and said today she can take a day off from the kitchen. So, I cooked her favorite Hilsa(Ilish maach) with wasabe which is a very famous Bengali dish. She loved it, I am so glad. The evening celebration will start with a small cake cutting ceremony(tuti- fruti cake of her choice) with cold drinks :)

I feel blessed that I could be at home and celebrate her birthday this year :)

Hope you all had a good weekend. The weekend was a movie marathon for me. After watching Sita Ramam, I went to watch BRAMHASTRA with my brother. 

BRAMHASTRA is indeed one of the biggest film ever made in India. The VFX has to have the special mention and as an Indian I am really very proud that we now have this film which has the potential to compete Internationally. The film is an amalgamation of love story, our Indian mythology and culture. The way Ayan has portrayed Durga Pujo, Kali Pujo, the aesthetics captured were just great. Also, it is that time of the year where in Bengal we are few days away from Durga Pujo, so all in all it just adds up to the emotion. The first half of the film I personally felt was better than the second half. There were few part where the film has its downfall. The explanation of Bramhastra itself was not clear and how Shiva, the main character could bring the biggest weapon under control through his power that section of the film I believe could have been handled a little better. Apart from that no other complain to be honest, because we all know it’s a three part film and all cannot be handled in Part One. So, before any harsh judgement we have to wait for all the parts.

#BoxOfficePrediction Of #Liger For Hindi, Telugu and Tamil – Massive Day One On Cards Liger is the latest offering from #DharmaProductions and has #VijayDeverakonda & Ananya Panday in lead. The film is directed by #PuriJagannath and has good music. The track Aafat is already a rage and there is a massive buzz around the film release. The usual boycott gang is also sweating to harm the film but it seems not much at the moment. Liger will release in limited preview shows in Hindi on 25th August and the full release on 26th August. South and overseas will see release on the 25th morning itself. The film should be released in 2500 plus screens in Hindi and it has the potential to take a good opening. In Hindi it should be between 4.5-5 cr nett day one minimum going by advances. On the other hand, it shouts be minimum 10 cr plus or 12 cr in Telugu market where Vijay is a huge star. Tamil and other should add 1-2 cr more. All India opening should be in range of 18.5-20 cr day one all India and should be 30 cr gross worldwide. Hindi day one 4.75 cr Telugu day one 12 cr Tamil Day One 1.5 cr Liger co-starring Ananya Panday as the female lead is directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film is carrying high expectations among the audience and is first pan-India project for Vijay Deverakonda. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan and Mike Tyson in key roles. In association with Puri connects, the film is being produced jointly by Dharma Productions. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta together are bankrolling the film on a grand scale. Vishnu Sarma is the cinematographer, while Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director.
