tries to get off one last time
A heavy sigh escaped your lips as you noticed his figure appearing in the mirror's reflection, silently entering the bathroom while you were getting ready to leave for work. His eyes found you in a heartbeat as did his arms, snaking their way around your waist and getting dangerously close to the hem of your shirt.
He observed you hastily going through your skincare routine for a few moments before emitting a low grunt, his lips gingerly brushing against the nape of your neck. "C'mon baby you don't need all that shit," his hold on you tightened, turning possessive, "you're already so pretty. Save this time for something else." With the bluntest of insinuations leaping of his tongue, Porco slid his fingers under your shirt and started tracing shapes on the tender skin of your stomach.
Yet, you remained strong in the face of his bold caresses, "It's only thanks to this 'shit' that I've been so 'pretty', Pock." Your breath hitched as his palm slid up to your breast, gently cupping it, but you continued, though with a clear strain to your voice. "And no, the last time I caved, I was late to work and I couldn't exactly tell my boss that my boyfriend wanting to get his dick wet was the one to blame."
"You know that's not what I meant," he pleaded, his brows furrowing in growing desperation. His voice dripped with honeyed sweetness, weaving a seductive melody that lingered in the air. "Oh, please. I can't bear to wait a whole day to have you back at my place. I'll drive you there myself, even if it means getting a ticket. It's just too good, that pussy of yours."
As his words hung in the air, followed by thoughtless pecks to your neck and back of your head, you couldn't help but to feel the allure of his proposition. The thought of succumbing to his enticing offer tugged at your resolve and coiling familiar warmth in your stomach, tempting you to give in to the desires.
Fortunately for Porco, your self-restraint was practically non-existent.
With a gentle nudge you pried yourself out of his grasp to face him and fall back into his arms again. "Ok, but only this last time," you playfully interjected between breathless kisses.
His dark chuckle melted against your lips, the low rumble of amusement sending more heat into your stomach. "You say that everytime."
Reiner
helps you to get ready
With a delicate yet persistent rub to your shoulder Reiner roused you out of the deep sleep, calling out your name in an affectionate manner to make sure you were awake. Blinking your eyes open, you smiled at him in recognition before wandering your still hazy gaze to the clock. The burning white digital numbers jolted you awake as you realized you had overslept.
A drawn-out "shit" flew past your lips along with curses directed at your phone for not setting off the alarm clock, and you scrambled out of bed, your mind racing. Your eyes lay to Reiner. If it wasn't for your phone, then was he the one to wake you up?
Your head void of any other thoughts, you stated bluntly, "I'm running late." With those words you turned to Reiner, a surge of hope and pleading momentarily glimmered in your eyes, desperate for a solution to your predicament. However, as the weight of the situation fully settled in, a new wave of despair crashed over you, overwhelming you with the number of all the tasks that needed to be accomplished in such a short amount of time. That initial glint of hope irrevocably faded, replaced by a deep sense of worry and frustration.
Ever the paragon of composure (at least when it came to your predicaments), Reiner flashed a reassuring smile at you. "Not to worry," he mused, his voice laced with warmth. "I've already taken care of a few things for you." As you stood there, momentarily dumbfounded by his thoughtfulness, he gently nudged you toward the bathroom. "Just go and start off the day while I finish up some other tasks. Alright?"
As it turned out, Reiner took his time in the morning to fix up a breakfast for you and iron your outfit for the day. As you sat at the kitchen counter, gobbling up the prepared meal in haste, Reiner exuded strange serenity unfit for the rush of the mornings that somehow transferred to you too. So much so, that when you were standing in the hallway waiting for the cab (another courtesy of Reiner) you were absolutely calm as if coming in late wasn't a threat anymore.
As you were about to leave, Reiner handed you a container and explained under the unspoken question of your eyes. "Packed some lunch for you." Clarification sounded so simple coming out of his mouth yet it still swelled your chest with affection. A belated surge of tenderness overcame you, and you leaned in to leave a gentle peck on his cheek, before leaving for the cab.
Zeke
pulls all the strings at his disposal to make you stay
The soft rays of the morning light filtered through the curtains as the alarm clock in its infinite persistence urged you to wake up. With a yawn and a stretch, along with some crude laments about such an early awakening, you made a feeble attempt to get up but a clutch of his hands, closed in around you, only grew stronger.
"Zeke," you groaned in protest but nonetheless let him pull you closer into his embrace. "We're not playing this game again."
His response was barely an audible murmur yet still managed to convey an untolerable level of sneer, "Yes, we are."
With that, he peeled one of his eyes open just to register the sheer annoyance painted across your features and fall back into slumber as soon as he saw the desired outcome of his antics. Your struggle seemed to amuse him to no end.
Trying to cover up the boiling irritation, you pleaded with him one last time, "I have to get up. Mind you, we both have work today," you pointed out and followed with a reasonable, at least at first glance, argument. "Doubt that your patients would be all that happy to not see you at your office today."
"Oh, I'm afraid they'll have to deal with that," he rebuked in a state of absolute calm, "The same goes for your boss."
Shifting around in his embrace to find some sort of comfort, you furrowed your brows in confusion. "The fuck you mean?" you asked him bluntly, running out of patience and time to get ready.
His whole body trembled as curt laughter escaped his chest. "Well, it has come to my attention that both of us contracted a rare strain of disease and — oh no — it's extremely contagious and dangerous to the outside world so we must quarantine for the rest of the day." To add defiance to his words and irate you even more, he nestled closer, his beard scratching at your skin. "As you can see, I'm already taking measures. It's you who's the irresponsible one right now."
"You talking forgery," you rebuked meekly yet it didn't seem to get a rise out of him. "Not if you're a real doctor which, luckily, I am."
You still seemed tense when his hot breath seered against your ear, "Relax, we're sleeping in today."
A valid excuse provided, you melted into his touch as you finally caved to his request. "You're very fortunate to have me, you know? Maybe reconsider to start appreciating me some more." The playfulness to his voice quickly faded off into the distance as you fell back asleep.

"MAARRRIIOOOOOO HEEELLLLPPPP!!!"
Luigi burst through the door of his house to find his brother, casually eating spaghetti at the table. He looked up from his favorite food with an annoyed expression. "What do you want Luigi!? Can't you see Mario is busy right now!?" Luigi tackled Mario and began shaking him while yelling "I GOT FIRED FROM MY JOB! PLEASE HELP!"
Mario didn't see what the problem was. "Pfff, what does Luigi need a job for? Stay home and be a bum like Mario!" He struck a cool pose and put sunglasses on before Luigi nervously walked past him. "You don't understand Mario! That job was supposed to cover our life savings. If I can't find another one..."
He opened a closet that was supposed to hold coins and bags of money in it, but only cobwebs and dust was inside. "Then we might be EVICTED!" Mario squinted his eyes and raised a hand up to his chin as he peeked inside the closet. "Mario thought he saw some money in here yesterday..." Luigi sighed and told him "Don't you remember what happened yesterday?"
~Flashback~
Mario was taking a walk through Mushroom City, but looked incredibly exhausted. He panted and croaked out "Mario's so hungry..." He then spotted a spaghetti truck that was delivering to the Fresh Spaghetti Tubbie factory. His eyes lit up and was determined to give chase to that truck so he ran into the road and punched a driver out of his car. He then proceeded to run a red light, go over the speed limit, and when Frankie was crossing the street, the last thing he heard was the honking of a horn before Mario ran him over.
The truck driver was going on his merry way, until Mario drove out in front of him. "AHHH!" The driver slammed the breaks, but it was too late. Mario hopped out of the car at the last second and danced while the two flaming vehicles behind him were sizzling in smoke. He opened the storage compartment and...
"WHAT!? JUST TUBBIE CUSTARD! THIS IS BULLCRAP! WHERE'S MARIO'S SPAGHETTI!?"
Just then police sirens flared and several officers came out of the cars. "STAWP RIGHT THERE!" A few hours later, Luigi enters the police station and waves to the receptionist. "Hello Luigi! Here to bail out your brother again?" He sighed and nodded. "How much?"
"All of your life savings."
~Present Time~
"Ooooo right." Luigi took a deep breath and looked his brother straight in the eye. "I can't keep bailing you out all the time. We need to find me a job and find you a way to stay out of trouble." The two boys tried to think of a solution until Mario was about to say something. "Mario, if this has anything to do with Spaghetti or your deals with Bob, I don't think that's gonna work."
Just then the TV in their living room started playing static and then a weird ad started to play. It described that there was a lottery going on and the winners would be announced tomorrow. Mario seemed convinced, but Luigi had his suspicions. "This doesn't sound right Mario...are we sure that this isn't a scam or something?" Mario brushed it off and convinced him "Relax Luigi! You wanted money right?"
"Yes, but-"
"THEN LETS-A GO!"
He grabbed Luigi and sped off to a store where the commercial said the lottery was being held. The two boys went to the counter when a familiar ally waved to them. "Shroomy?" The two said in unison. "Well golly gee! Hello boys!"
"You run the lottery?" He nodded and handed them a ticket. "There you go! We'll announce the winner tomorrow afternoon!" Luigi took the ticket and saw that their number was lucky 21, one of the digits that was considered to be good luck by superstitions. "O-o-okay thanks." He gave Shroomy a few remaining dollars and the two them headed back home and awaited the drawing of the winning ticket.
~The Next Day~
Mario was vibrating in excitement on the couch while Luigi held tightly onto the ticket. The suspense led up as the announcer said "And the winner is...LUCKY NUMBER 21!" Both men gasped as they looked down at the ticket and sure enough, it was their's. "YIPPEE!" Mario cheered while Luigi stood in awe. "Wow! We did it. I wonder how much money we won."
"Congratulations number 21! You win 8 tickets to Paris, France!" Mario stopped celebrating and Luigi's eyes widened. "WAT!" Mario ran up to the TV and shook it. "YOU STINKY ANNOUNCER! MARIO THOUGHT HE WAS WINNING INFINITE SPAGHETTI! MARIO WANTS A REFUND!" Luigi was lost in thought with what to do with this until he cried out "Mario wait!"
"What? Mario wants his money back!" Luigi placed a hand on his shoulder and said "This might not be a bad thing. It could actually be great for all of us!" Mario's brain caught on fire because he couldn't understand the nonsense from Luigi's mouth. "We could invite our friends to come with us on a vacation! I could look for a job and there's plenty to do there so you stay out of trouble."
Mario actually did like the idea of a vacation. Last year's was definitely not as relaxing considering they had been trapped in a western simulation. There was just one last thing to convince him. "Will there be spaghetti?" Luigi smiled and said "I'm sure we could find something." That was enough for the fat Italian to hear. He gave his brother a thumbs up and replied "Okey dokey!" Luigi couldn't wait to show the tickets to their friends. "I'm sure they'll love the idea!"
"YOU WANT US TO DO WHAT!?"
All of the crew had came over to Smg4's castle and were sitting on the couch in the game room. Turns out, they weren't as impressed with the tickets as much as Luigi hoped for. "Isn't Paris really far?" Meggy asked. "And very crowded?" Tari also added. "Well yes, but I thought a vacation would benefit us all."
"Benefit us? Remember how beneficial our last vacation was?" Three shot back. Just the thought of it made Meggy shutter. "Mario promises it won't be anything like that! You're onboard right Smg4?"
Four looked up from his computer and made a wincing face at his best friend. "I don't know Mario. We're all a bit busy right now." Mario was not going to miss out on his spaghetti so he slid down to Four's feet and put on his best puppy dog eyes. "Pleeeaaasseeee Smg4! You never hang out with Mario anymore." He began tugging on his overalls and crying all over the floor. The whole ordeal was making Four uncomfortable.
Luigi pulled out a pamphlet that he had gotten with the tickets. "There's many things to do there like a GameStop store, Olympic Games on July 26, Casinos, and many historic sights." Once Luigi mentioned casinos, Bob didn't even think twice. "HELL YEAH! I'M GOING TO GO PACK RIGHT NOW!" Tari did think that a gaming store would be pretty interesting. "That does sound cool. What do you think Meggy?" She stood up and said "Well Wren has already been defeated and I have been wanting to go see the Olympics in person."
Tari squeezed Meggy's hand as if to tell her not to worry about Wren. Meggy offered a small smile in return and said "Count us in Luigi!" Boopkins wasn't sure himself, but he did like spending time with his friends. He tugged on Luigi gently and asked him "Will there be anything on anime?"
"I guess?" Boopkins cheered and pulled out his body pillows. "Did you hear that girls? We're going to Paris!" Mario rolled around on the ground and cried "You don't want to hang out with Mario or let him have spaghetti!"
"It's not that. I just..." Four sighed and rubbed his temples. "Fine Mario. I'll come. Just please stop acting like a 5 year old." Mario immediately sprung up and hugged his best friend. "Thank you Smg4!"
Four looked up and saw Three, crossing his arms and pretending not to care. "So what about you Three? You in?" He sneered and said "NO! I HAVE WORK TO DO AT THE CAFE!" Luigi showed him the tickets and said "But there's 8 tickets."
"Then get one of these chicks to go with you!" He pointed behind him, where Saiko was practicing her guitar and Melony was taking a nap. Saiko looked up and shook her head. "Me and Kaizo are practicing for our upcoming show and I think she's going to be out for a while." Melony surely was a heavy sleeper.
"Then find somebody else Luigi!" Three was about to leave when Mario tried the same schtick that he had with Four. He clung tight to Three's overalls and would not let go. "What the hell!? Get off me idiot!" He tried to shake Mario off, but it was very ineffective. "Pleeeeeeaaaaasssseee Smg3? It won't be the same without you!" Three tried pulling him off with no success.
"FINE! Just let go!" Mario instantly threw himself around Three, except he wasn't as much of a hugger as Four was. "Personal space Mario!" Luigi looked at the tickets and said "Alright well it says that our flight is at 8:00 AM tomorrow morning so we all have to wake up early."
Everyone was advised to start packing and go to sleep early so they would be ready to go. As they all left the room, Meggy and Tari chatted about what they were going to do there, Bob bragged to Boopkins about all the loot he was going to earn, and the brothers were figuring out the arrangements for where to stay and what to sign up for. "Don't forget the all you can eat Spaghetti buffet!"
"I'm...not sure they have that." Mario then noticed the two boys and rushed up to them. "This is so exciting for you two!" They both had confused glances on their faces. "Why's that?" Mario explained "Because Paris is the most romantic city in the world!" His face changed into a smug grin and said "Mario can't wait to see Smg4 and Smg3 wooing over each other!"
They both blushed and Three shot back "NO WERE NOT!" Four flustered backed him up by saying "Right! This is just a vacation amongst friends. Nothing else." Mario wasn't buying it. "Surreee." Luigi called out for him and he said goodbye. He loved seeing the two develop feelings with each other over the years, but they never admitted it to one another. "Maybe Mario could help set up a date for the two." As he walked back home, he figured that he could try helping the two confess while they were up there.

He covered his face with his hand and left before his cheeks became more hotter.
Three had went back to managing his cafe and once it was closing time, he put up a sign that said the cafe was going on break. He didn't want to do it, but thanks to that stupid Italian's efforts and that cute annoying smile of Four's, he had no choice. Before bed, he made sure to call Karen to dog-sit Eggdog and pack for the trip.
Four was not so focused on the trip. He said he was going to get ready, but instead he got sidetracked and went back to making videos. All he had remembered to do was take out a suitcase. By the time he was finished, he looked at the clock and was certainly not expecting this time. "12:00!" It was very late and he hadn't even started packing. He sighed and it seemed that the best course of action was waking up early so he could pack before everybody else got here.
He set an alarm on his phone and got into bed. Actually confessing to Three in Paris. The idea made him laugh. Sounded like a cheesy movie type thing. Besides, he didn't really like Three like that...did he? The idea wandered in his mind for a while before his eyelids gave out and he slowly drifted off to sleep.

Looking for advice: I have a female half Wood Elf Druid Astarionmancer that I want to become more popular in the fandom. How do you get more eyes on your Tav (especially as a smaller artist)?
well, that's a really complicated question. I will try to answer with what practical advice I can reasonably offer from the perspective of a digital artist!
In regards to growing your blog as a smaller artist, i don't have an easy or fast solution. I've been on tumblr for over a decade, and i started out like most artists on here, posting my original art for 0 notes. I'm afraid its mostly just organic growth over time, more than anything else.
Popularity might not be the best expectation to have because you really can't control how other people view and interact with your work. Which might lead to frustration and chasing notes which is just a ticket to a bad time, in my experience. i treat my blog as my little diary to post my drawings and writings and silly thoughts more than anything else. I don't have particularly unique or special ocs other than I love them and like to spread them on my blog like shiny stickers. If others are enjoying it with me, then its a happy bonus!
Of course there are things you can do to try and make your artwork appealing to more people; this is something I do all the time! If I see a piece of art with a lot of notes, I like to try and pick out the elements of it that make appealing or eye catching, such as the way the artist uses color, contrast, composition, etc.
And with that info, you just...want to draw. A lot. I draw pretty much entirely in my free time when I'm not at work or playing video games. Drawing a lot will allow you to post a lot more. Posting more will naturally get more eyes on your blog, and your artwork/tav, over time.
I think the most important point I have is that fandom is a community, first and foremost. Find people making content you like (and not just artists, find gif makers, fanfic writers, lore/meta writers, blogs that just reblog content and keep it circulating, etc) and interact with them with sincerity. Show interest in what others are doing, leave comments on their creations and ask questions when they play ask games. In my experience, most people LOVE being interacted with in some way and are happy to reciprocate. We're all just playing dollies together, in the end.
Here's an actual piece of advice I can give: something that I've done in both major fandoms I've been in is give away a LOT of art. Most of my early fandom activities is just asking people to send me ocs to draw. It helps me practice my skills, challenges me to work efficiently, and the other person gets free art; if its something you can spare to do, as I know not everyone can just sit and pump out artwork they're not getting paid for.
But I've also got to meet some really cool people, and made some of my best friends on this site; some of who are now just my irl friend group. I still like to do it spontaneously for fun!
Take better care of your hands than I do!

He could practically feel the pulse of this place, its many seductive siren songs, the allure of its digital thrum... it called to him in more languages than he ever expected and he wanted to give them all their due attention. Solution Nine was so much more than Ciel had described. The Wildwood, with her love of the forests and natural places, made clear her distaste for this place and all its nuance and strangeness, but it was enough to pique his curiosity. A vibrant city of metal and light? A city where machines and Spoken dwelled side-by-side without much conflict? A no holds barred fighting arena with powerful opponents gifted with monstrous abilities? Sign me right the hells up, he thought. Within a few suns of his conversation with Ciel he'd made sure that his siblings had what they needed so he could take off for a few days and explore this very place, a fragment of another shard by her reckoning. But it became apparently very quickly that this was something that deserved more than a few days of his time and might require more than one visit to acquaint himself with everything he desired. The food and drink, while curious things, were the least of his interest. It was the technology - specifically the Electrope - which fascinated him first and foremost. A modest amount could provide a ready and reliable power source to Understone without relying on old Garlean technology and Ceruleum. With that also came the possibility of adapting local biomechanical and medical enhancements - materials and techniques to not simply maintain, but to gently improve upon his and his siblings' existing augments without limiting themselves to salvage and scrap parts of dubious origin.
