This got suuuper viral on twitter and I want to share this as well here and let you all know that this is Graham Hamilton 👀👀 and I-
Tumblr media
NOBODY TOLD ME HE LOOKS LIKE THIS?? 👀 THIS WAS BEFORE THE CGI WAS SLAPPED ON HIS FACE. 😮😮
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
AND BY GOD IF THAT DOESNT LOOK LIKE A YOUNG MARK HAMILL??? THEN WHY REPLACE IT WITH THE SCARY UNCANNY CGI!!
Here are other frame of references:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He looks more like Luke THAN the Luke CGI 😭😭
Bro’s an exact carbon copy. He looks like Disney secretly cloned him Kamino style. Im cryin ya’ll. 😭😂
Here is the most perfect person for the role and Disney said “not enough” and slapped him with unnecessary CGI 😭
His last name is even HAMILton!! What a perfect legacy for Mark Hamill to pass the torch to. Bro was born for this role.
BONUS:
He’s even got the yassified twink vibes that LUKE CHANEL BOOTS SKYWALKER embodies! 💅 He’s so KING! I’m loving it 🤴
Tumblr media
I know we all love Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. (and the originals as well) He is my childhood hero and he will forever be Luke in my heart. No one will ever replace the passion he put in his role.
But it’s been already decades and there is a new generation of new respectable actors and actresses that can give our well beloved characters to life again. Be that or let them be all replaced by capitalistic machines and heartless AI technology. Nothing can ever top the performance and influence of a well-meaning actor putting his heart into a role!
DISNEY JUST RECAST!!

I know someone has probably said this better but. There's really so much about Luke & Ahsoka interactions that can be explored. Because honestly they have every reason to resent each other?
Anakin was arguably much more of a father to Ahsoka than he ever was to Luke (even if he was more of an older brother figure to Ahsoka than an actual father figure). He trained her and built her lightsabers and had a dumb nickname for her and made dad jokes and like - everything Luke ever could have wanted out of his dad. She knew him when he was still Anakin Skywalker and not Darth Vader. She knew Padme!! Padme also was kind of her mom! Luke doesn't even know Padme's name until sometime post ROTJ - it's possible Ahsoka was the first person who could have told it to him.
Not only that, but she had the Jedi Order. She was trained by the Order at its peak, raised from infancy in the rituals and knowledge that Luke now must piece together from whispers from ghosts and whatever old texts he can scrounge up from the corners of the galaxy the Empire somehow missed. He is doing all of this on his own with no guidance, no oversight, meanwhile it's knowledge that came to her as easy as breathing.
And she walked away from all of it. Everything Luke has ever wanted - a relationship with his parents, proper Jedi training, the Jedi Order itself - she had without ever asking for it, and she walked away from it without a backward glance. And she's still walking away from it - she's not a Jedi, she won't claim that title, she won't join Luke's new Order. Maybe she shows up from time to time and tells him some stories and shares from knowledge, but she won't train him, and somewhere deep down he knows that he will never be as much of a Jedi as she is even though she doesn't claim that title anymore, and part of the reason because is she won't help him.
And for Ahsoka's part. Anakin returned from the Dark Side for Luke. He couldn't - or wouldn't - return for Ahsoka, who he trained, who knew him and loved him and would have died for him. He tried to kill her and would have if Ezra hadn't saved her. But this boy, who shares nothing with Anakin but a name and half his DNA - he was enough to bring Anakin back. She wasn't, not with everything they shared, not with all the times she'd almost died for him, and he'd saved her, and she'd saved him. How do you not kind of hate someone for that?
And besides, he's trying to bring back the Jedi Order. The Order that cast her aside as soon as it was convenient for them, the Order that allowed Anakin Skywalker to become what he did and was too blind to see a Sith Lord under their noses and that died for those mistakes. And sure, he's trying to do it differently, he's trying to do it better, but what does this boy know of better? What can he know of the sins of the Jedi Order? When he speaks of the Order with stars in his eyes, what can he know of the pain that she suffered? That so many suffered? How can he correct what he doesn't understand?
I just think it would be cool to see more of that explored in canon.

I'm nervous about all of these upcoming dramas that chronicle the life of a female character like legend of jewelry and flourished peony I left like blossoms of adversity could've used more episodes most of the great shows that depict this kind of story like Story of Ming lan and Story of Yanxi palace are 70 plus episodes because you need the room to slowly build up your story and characters but now every cdrama has to be 40 eps or less and that's really not how you do art you can't just confine every single story into a specific number of episodes the writing/pace/development will always suffer
I think we are right to be very concerned about dramas already filmed that now have to be edited down to 40 episodes. When done with due care, I think they can still be very worth watching (it's the supporting characters that will suffer but likely not the story of the female lead; they'll slice down the secondary couple and SML.) But if the production team isn't preoccupied with quality and/or isn't given the budget for a good editor to invest the time to get it right... 🙈
For the dramas not yet filmed, I honestly am fairly confident. Competent directors and screenwriters can certainly draw on their creativity to tell a full & satisfying story in 40 forty-five minute episodes. We have seen how cdrama artists can still flourish despite constraints. Short dramas like Butterflied Lover and Provoke, which created compelling stories with little budget & screentime. Censored queer dramas that tell a second story between the lines.
There are 2 common set ups for tv production:
[1] the multi season storytelling style that plots a portion of the story bit by bit. You get the beginning arc - maybe the story continues; maybe it's cancelled. You get another arc - maybe the story continues; maybe a major actor doesn't renew so their character suddenly is eliminated from the narrative; maybe it's cancelled. You get another arc... You maybe get an ending?? (prayers up!) Which often doesn't resemble the writer's original vision, because of casting changes or because another show aired their idea first, or because the writer's opinion on a ship or character changed due to interactions with fans (positive or negative).
[2] a complete story is filmed, with a beginning-middle-end, and it's released as a whole 22 or 34 or 40 episodes.
I'll be honest, after many years of experiencing type 1... I am so, so over it. I will take some annoying limitations and a constraint of 40 episodes any damn day if you can deliver me a coherent narrative that delivers an arc that is solidly closed - where I actually get to experience the complete vision. That's my personal preference for how to do art as television.
I think it's wonderful that in the last few years, through kdramas and cdramas, I've been able to enjoy so many complete stories centered around the growth of a strong female character. And I don't take that for granted. So let's think positive, my anon friend. Bring it on!

Idia: I'm telling you Helena, you look exactly like Haruhi Fujioka.
Helena: Bruh is it because I have the hairstyle, brown eyes, and has been hanging out with so many boys, yet the main difference is I have them wolf features and I'm in an all-boys school and has been iseikai'd right? Cause I feel that's what's happening.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Idia watches Ouran High School Host Club and suddenly remember that Helena almost looks like Haruhi Fujioka. The main difference is Helena has them wolf features.
Helena is about to have the same fate as Haruhi, but with overblot trauma and magic.
Graham Hamilton as Luke Skywalker
It's the gentleness of his act and the compassion in his eyes. Isn't that the spirit of who Luke Skywalker is?
Let him act or let Disney train him if they're not confident enough. IDC. He's a good fit. I said what I said. 🤷‍♀️
But I don't really expect if he'll get the role(esp with Disney), I'm just living in the moment and here to appreciate that face of his!!
Look at the glint of his eyes here. He's so passionate about it. He must have had a blast playing Luke and he did it respectfully. 👏👏
Tumblr media
So I was inspired to make more content about him because of @tabrisshiki and @lex-the-flex's post. I posted those edits on Tiktok yesterday and it got 1million+ views.✨The people have spoken✨This other edit was a personal fave and I want to share a cleaner version here. JUST LOOK AT HIM and tell me he doesn't embody Luke's spirit! ✨ I found out he wasn't even credited for his role like Disney???💀 I'm ALL for sharing and appreciating his performance even more.
I made this about the character questioning becoming a Marshall but this is so much fucking funnier now that Gina Carano is apparently suing Disney with Elon Musk's money for not renewing her contract to try and make them rehire her
Birthday Present for my friend @fanficwolf105. Song of the Sea starring her fankid oc Amanda.
Ironically, Song of the Sea is a better Little Mermaid sequel than the actual Little Mermaid sequel.
I call this piece "Merrows" starring:
Melody from Return to the Sea, in the role of Big Brother Ben.
Amanda, daughter of Ariel and Nani, in the role of Saoirse (pronounced Sheer-Sha) I used fanficwolf's drawing of her for the picture, and since there isn't a drawing of her as a mermaid, I added a mermaid tail.
Ariel from Return to the Sea as Bronagh. Magical sea princess who has to leave her family.
Nani Pelekai from Lilo and Stitch as Connor. Surfing Champ turned lighthouse keeper, trying to keep her ohana safe.
Experiment 489 (Huggo) as Cu the dog. I thought about using Max but decided to go with something more seaworthy.
Kobra Bubbles from Lilo and Stitch in the role of Granny. Mr. Well-Meaning social worker worried about the storms bombarding Hawaii.
Ursala from The Little Mermaid in the role of Macha, with Flotsam and Jetsom as her owls. She’s the reason for all the storms.
King Tritan from The Little Mermaid in the role of Great Seanachai. Lonely Ruler of an abandoned kingdom.
The fish women from Hercules and Xena: Battle for Mount Olympus as the Daone Sidhe. I don't know if they're sirens or sea nymphs. In this story they're sea nymphs.
Grimsby from The Little Mermaid as the Bus Driver.
David from Lilo and Stitch as Ferry Dan.
Nevy Nervine from Ava's Demon as Mac Lir. The tragic daughter of Ursala.
The story is this...
Merrows are a type of mermaid who can turn into humans with the help of magical amulets. Merrow princess Ariel fell in love with and married human Nani. Thanks to either sea magic or alien science, they both conceive babies with each other. Ariel has Melody, and three years later Nani has Amanda. But right after Nani gives birth, Ariel is called away by her father King Tritan, and must leave behind her family and transformation amulet.
Nine years later, mysterious storms and tsunamis batter islands up and down the Pacific. Melody spends her time swimming with beloved Huggo, while Amanda tries to learn more about her heritage. One night, Amanda finds Ariels' transformation amulet, puts it on, and takes her first swim through the sea as a merrow.
But the storms are getting worse, and Kobra Bubbles is in charge of evacuating the islands' children from the coast. To protect her daughters, Nani tearfully makes them leave. But Melody and Amanda sneak away from Bubbles, and while traveling to the coast, they meet a quartet of sea nymphs who sing about King Tritan's battle with sea witch Ursala and how he sent away his people in all directions under the care of his seven daughters. Hearing this, the sisters take a rowboat to sea and search for their grandfather.
At sea, they're attacked by Ursala's eels who take Amanda away. Melody drifts alone with Huggo until Tritan finds them. He explains that a hundred years ago, Ursala had a daughter named Nevy. Nevy went mad with grief after her human lover died so Ursala removed her emotions and turned her into coral. Ursala tried to turn other merrows into coral but was sealed away in an iceberg. Ursala broke out of the iceberg the same day that Amanda was born. To protect his people, King Tritan called back his daughters to lead them to safety. He can't leave his palace, but he can help Melody by giving her an amulet (the locket) so she can be a merrow too.
Melody is guided by Ariels' spirit to Ursalas' lair. Ursala is midway through stealing Amanda's emotions when Melody stops her. Melody and Amanda uncork all the bottled emotions, causing Ursala to have a breakdown. She tearfully admits she forbade Nevy from seeing her lover, and that's why Nevy was in so much pain. She promises not to hurt the other merrows if the sisters bring Nevy back to life.
They swim back to Hawaii, reunite with Nani, and sing a beautiful duet that not only raises Nevy from her coral bed, but also calls back the merrows scattered around the world. Including Ariel.
Me: "I have no fear."
My brain: "What if Disney can't get Elden and Deborah to reprise their roles in the Daredevil series and come up with something like 'Matt got snapped away and both Foggy and Karen somehow died during those five years'?"
Me: "I have one fear."
