Ok so I want to know how the Barbie Dream Besties are doing sales wise.

Yesterday I was in a Target that had zero of the blonde Malibu, but like five of Brooklyn and a couple Renee and Teresa.

I was suddenly bewildered like, are the blonde ones selling the best? I know I'm not a good barometer of these things but I felt she was the weakest, like my least wanted of the four by far. And Brooklyn is the best design and face.

Or are they shipping separately and just not stocked yet?

I do live in the midwest of the USA, little blonde bitches territory. Are the white dolls just selling quick here?

I don't know where to find the numbers or more information.

SO ANYWAY the only one I didn't pick up when I saw them all in stock, is now out of stock at all Targets near me, and Walmarts too. WTF. I thought she would shelf warm honestly. Maybe they just haven't hit the shelves yet still ...

Makes me itchy like maybe I should try to snag one online and I really don't wanna play that roulette.

Two of the alters who are recently parents have gone full middle aged dad and are making a massive garden in the headspace, and I’m practically begging them to add a mini vineyard area because I’m so painfully nostalgic for the vineyard we grew up on. I miss the vineyard :(. Having a baby in the system is super fun though, it feels like having a little cousin or something, even though we aren’t related. He’s so cute!!! I’d love to play in the vineyard with him when he gets a bit older and starts running around.

sio2 funan officially at new home safely as the last of my for sale dolls atm \(@^0^@)/ although i ultimately sold him i am glad i bought him because he would have become my white whale and i would always be thinking about how great he could be but in reality he didn't end up being quite what i wanted

some of you might have noticed that i let a few other dolls go as well and honestly it felt like such a relief

now i am thinking maybe i should let another one or two go 🤔 but these ones i am less sure of so they will get a makeover or two before i decide for sure...

Dolly ramblings

Today I am going to send out two dolls in a trade. One of them is my Lillycat Chibbi Newt, Rinne's doll version.

I still love the Pokémon trainer character, but the doll version and that character have been drifting apart for too long. I recognise this from one of my other important characters, Ymara. It took me a few years to figure out what I wanted with her and I am happy now.

I am going to give Rinne that time as well. I am trading for something completely different and I will see where that goes (another character) Maybe Rinne will get another doll form in the future, maybe not.

I also bought two resin garage kits because I loved the sculpts. Waiting for eyes I ordered to come in before I start the one that came in already.

Sorry that it is all a bit vague. I post more about my own dolls on Instagram nowadays for convenience sake. This is just a quick updat for those that follow me here. I probably won't be posting a lot more pictures here unless things change again.

So my late night brain is going off after a day of Easter prepping and figured you guys would enjoy this. As some already know, I've been working on a fan fiction that is now thirteen chapters in and I realized something. If Envy from FMA had survived in both canon storylines, do you guys think Envy would've been an avid collector of that setting's equivalent of Sanrio in modern day? Like from the speech text in the manga and apparently preferring 'cute', I feel like that even though they'd deny this like crazy, Envy would have a secret Sanrio stash they keep highly guarded. I also bet Envy's holy grail of their Sanrio-esque collection would be a limited edition anniversary plush of Kuromi that's been numbered.

Sooo @dollsahoy mentioned modding the torso shorter. I'm resin dust phobic, but I admit the concept is alluring.

I agree that removing the super visible ribs would look good, but I'd also be loathe to give up the bulk there. Cutting out the teeny waist instead would give the illusion of thicker torso too.

But then I'd have to mod those ridiculously longhuge arms too (see originals on the peach body to the right) ...
