Consumed with jealousy, Keith parked outside the set every day and sat in his blue Bentley, fuming. With good reason. His suspicion that Cammell was really out to film “third-rate porn” had merit. The uncut version of Performance was eventually entered at a pornographic film festival in Amsterdam — and won first prize.
