Hah, I only saw the sleep part at first and thought this would be easy…

Let’s see!

Sleep - Nerys can sleep anywhere, at the drop of a hat, and in almost any type of noise. A habit from her resistance days. Relatedly she also wakes up at the slightest change in the soundscape. Her sleep graph is basically a yo-yo. She also basically never sleeps naked, just in case of an unexpected wake-up. At least not until she’s incredibly comfortable someplace.

Quirks/hobbies - This one is so hard! Nerys (at least at the time of the show) seems so married to her job and her duty (and her religious commitment) that she doesn’t seem to have any hobbies. Well, Memory Alpha says she plays springball… And honestly I think at the time of the show that probably is about it? Now I kinda want to work Nerys discovering a hobby into my Nerys/Keiko/Miles fic. I love exploring what chars do in their free time for these shows that are quite professionally focused. I know canonically she is “bad at art” but I feel like maybe she could find a more crafts-adjacent art form that she might really take to. Or honestly, maybe even writing? I know she doesn’t like the holodeck which I’ve always read as not enjoying “making believe” but I think writing could actually be super cathartic for her? And maybe the sort of thing that would surprise people, but sometimes those are the most fulfilling hobbies. I also think she could take to something more practical like gardening, especially with a focus toward edible or otherwise useful plants. Which would also work really well as bonding for her and Keiko… oh now I’m plotting, hehe.

Childhood - This is also so hard because Nerys’ childhood was so traumatic and tragic. I think she really liked hearing war stories, but grew out of it quickly once she saw active combat after joining the resistance. I think she was also incredibly protective of her siblings. I wonder if they are still alive… Memory Alpha doesn’t say and the fact that we never meet them makes me kinda headcanon they are not because I feel like she would try to keep them close. Have to ponder that…

okay, so i don’t have any specific fics that are my favorite, so i’ll shoutout my favorite writers instead.

@greg-montgomery: i love fay so much, her series ivy is amazing and she just finished it as well. before we became friends, i binged her entire master list in one sitting, she is that good. but my favorite of hers are her greg fics, she just captures him so well.

@ddejavvu: another writer whose master list i binged in one sitting. especially their more smutty works, i just adore and admire them so much.

@montyfandomlove @criminalskies @canuck-eh @strawbeerossi all have amazing fics as well and they are also such amazing people 😘

12. How does receiving or not receiving support or feedback impact you?

oh, boy, this one is a deeper question. not receiving feedback, especially comments, hurts. i love to write and love my mutuals and followers who comment on the fics that i write, but the lower numbers are frankly discouraging since i am a “smaller” blog with a little over 300 followers. i don’t say that to sound like i am not grateful for the followers that i do have because i am very grateful. it means so much to me that number of people have decided to stay in my little corner of the internet. but i also know that i do not have the same amount of reach that a blog with a higher follower count than me.

it also gets a little discouraging when the fics that do the best on my blog are the ones that sex scenes in them. as i am typing this, have a seat, my first smut fic, is the third highest noted fic on my blog with 839 notes, second to only drunk words, and the second installment to the leap of series. my favorite fic on my blog, leap of faith, has just under 450 notes. so, yeah. if you guys have a favorite writer or even just a fic that you come across and really enjoy, please give it love and tell the writer how much you loved it and what you loved about, it means a lot to us.

I’ve been having a hard time with the plot because the story keeps escaping from the original plan but my goal is to finish it in 2025!

Hi nonny!

I've not heard anything about a season 2 yet, aside from some cast members liking/responding to comments like, "we need a season 2!" which obviously doesn't carry any weight (other than that they may look favorably on returning to their roles if given the opportunity). I know the show was intended to work as a standalone mini-series, so that means they sold the concept as a single season, without any intention of renewal, but that being said, if there's enough viewership/engagement to make the show profitable, anything's possible.

Obviously Hulu & Disney+ are good accounts to keep tabs on, but I'm also keeping an eye on James Mcnamara's socials. If anyone would have updates, it would likely be him. Also, sometimes producers/writers/showrunners are more likely to slip up and post something that gives you an idea of what they're working on than the stars are, as they aren't as accustomed to being public facing and having every little thing they post analyzed.

If any official news came out, I'd expect to see it on Maia's socials pretty quickly. I think the biggest hurdles to a possible season 2 are viewership numbers (all about the money), and if they could get the main cast to return. Without Jack, Belle, and Fagin, there really isn't a show, so their availability and willingness would be critical.

I would love to see a season 2, but I'm not getting my hopes too high. I feel like the show was really under marketed, and many people completely missed that it exists at all. And today's market is so tough with so many options of shows to watch.

I want to say absolutely yess, but I guess it sorta depends on what type of evidence. I'm very squeamish when it comes to bruises and blood and that kind of stuff. So even though I'm really into the thought of being "marked", after the serotonin drops, I might get a bit woozy from seeing the evidence. I love the idea though and at the end of the day I love to please so if she wants to leave evidence I will not object.
