I do really wish Matt had more time to develop as a character because what is seen as general niceness by many is actually very much people pleaser behaviour (I think he's described as a people pleaser by multiple people who worked on the game but the only one who comes to mind rn is Jordan Fisher) and even then, a lot of people still see people pleasing as a cute quirky trait and not a real issue. 😭

like I would have loved to see some more of the resentment that can built up when you've held in your grievances for that long and have it actually addressed a little more because the fire tower was great but there could've been more too it where he actually learns something. 😩 like his development should yes be to not be as much of a pushover but it shouldn't solely be for the sake of his own well-being but the people around himmm cause knowing a people pleaser can be so draining (I was a chronic people pleaser and I was the worst). like I wanna see an expansion of what was shown.😭

I know I literally just posted about this exact thing and I'm totally yapping but I'm very passionate about it

Whew look at you go! Had a small problem with aphids a lil while back, but after a whole lot of diligence they were banished. Still have some of the damaged leaves visible but look at all the healthy new growth!

You may be trying to take over my desk, but I couldn’t ask for a better art companion. The moss in the planter is happy with the frequent watering and shade, but the impatiens is trying to devoir the terrarium moss now too

My oxalis is thriving still, too. But it has its own space above me and isn’t trying to reach out and say hello as much.

TESSDE AU (+ Taliesin) Continuation from this one

The three are lounging in the hot springs, slightly away from each other. Allora is doing slow 'jellyfish' backstrokes in her little area, Kaidan is watching her from the deep end, while Taliesin is sitting well inside the shallow end.

Allora: *sighs in bliss, enjoying the hot waters driving out her aches and pains* I'm so glad for this... Kaidan: *chuckles, stretching an arm over his head* Glad t'hear it. You deserve a break. Allora: *frowns as she glances over at him* You do too. You're worse than me at being a workaholic. Kaidan: *snorts* Don't think that's possible, lass. Allora: *huffs and sits up, brushing her wet, now light brown locks from her face* Yeah, whatever, Mr. I-Have-To-Jump-In-Front-of-You. Kaidan: Not my fault, Ms. Trouble. Allora: *gasps* Mean! As if I chose to be chased and hunted down by everyone on this earth! Kaidan: *smiles before frowning lightly at that, keeping an eye out for any assassins that could catch them off guard* Allora: *wags a finger in his direction* You're doing it again! There's no one around for miles, hon. Just relax. Enjoy the spring. Look at Taliesin! *waves a hand to the mer before realizing he's in the shallow end* Taliesin? Taliesin: *eyes closed, arms crossed* Yes, dear? Allora: *swims over to him, holding her upper half up on the surface he was sitting on* What's up? You're not coming in further? Taliesin: Need I remind you I don't do swimming, Cherub? Lest I give Kaidan a chance to drown me. Kaidan: You'd do that well enough on yer own. Taliesin: *huffs* So what if I can't swim? Hardly any places warm enough here on your frozen wasteland of a home. Allora: *sheepishly raises her shoulders to her ears* Sorry, I did forget. You're right though, there aren't a lot of places to go swimming in. But that's okay! I'll sit with you. Taliesin: *opens his eyes in surprise as the woman lifts herself onto the flat of the rock he was sitting on, frowning* You were enjoying yourself though. Don't stop on my account; I was enjoying it too. Allora: *laughs, lightly shoving his shoulder* Flirt. And I don't mind; back home we had pool side chairs to relax on after swimming where people could tan. Not much of a chair, but I can make it work. *reclines on the grass behind her, stretching out and enjoying the clouds above them* Taliesin: *casually looks her over before sighing and carefully reclining himself* ...Allora. May I ask you something? Allora: Uh oh, you used my name. Serious? Taliesin: I'm always serious, dear. Unless I'm not. Allora: *snickering and rolls onto her side to look at him* What's up, Bean Pole? Taliesin: ...Never mind. Allora: *frowns* Hey, I'm sorry. You said it was serious, I'll take it seriously. What's wrong? Taliesin: *glances over at Kaidan, who is scanning the area around them* ... Allora: *looks at Kaidan before humming in understanding, and gently laying a hand on his shoulder* We can talk about it later, if you want. Before bed? Taliesin: ...Yes. Thank you. Go on and swim, don't let me keep you. Allora: *takes that as her leave, but gives him a parting kiss on his temple* Call me if you need me. *slides off the rock and goes back to her area to swim around in* Taliesin: *heart minutely racing a bit, carefully reaching up to where she kissed as his face flushes* ...Damnable woman...
