Watermelon snow
Watermelon snow, also known as glacial blood, is caused by algae that turns the snow a startling shade of red.
The algae blooms in summer, forming on the snowfields that linger on glaciers, frozen lakes, rugged peaks and icy valleys in the upper reaches of mountain terrain.
The darker the snow, the faster it melts — and new research sheds light on the threat snow algae poses to shrinking glaciers across northwestern North America.

Lecture Series: Intellectual Property, Start-ups, and Entrepreneurship
I recently attended a series of lectures that covered important topics like intellectual property, start-ups, and entrepreneurship. In this blog, I want to share what I learned from each of these lectures and how they helped me understand the business world better.
The first lecture taught me about the importance of protecting our ideas and creations. I learned about a famous example of a picture that was copied from a convenience store's logo; this is especially relevant in light of the viral picture of the "seven ebelen" whose face was copied from the 7-Eleven convenience store logo. which showed how easily someone's work can be stolen. I learned the importance of registering a business idea or product to safeguard it from intellectual property theft. By registering, you can secure your business idea through various methods like copyrights, patents, or trademarks. This can provide legal protection and recourse in case of infringement. It's crucial to take these steps to protect your business idea and any unique elements associated with it. This lecture made me realize how important it is to understand the laws that protect our intellectual property.

The second lecture was about the world of start-ups. Ms. Keren Happuch A. Lacadin shared her knowledge about the different people and organizations that help start-ups grow, such as investors, mentors, and government agencies. I learned that start-ups need a supportive environment to succeed, and that working together with others is key.
The third lecture was about the different programs that help start-ups grow, such as business incubators and accelerators. Ms. Glyrhiz Marhiel A. Tabamo taught me about the resources available to entrepreneurs and the importance of seeking guidance and support when starting a business.

The final lecture was a personal story of success and failure shared by Mr. John Ryan Loyloy. He taught me that failure is a natural part of the entrepreneurial journey and that we can learn from our mistakes. His message was inspiring and reminded me that perseverance and adaptability are essential for success.

Conclusion
The lecture series was a valuable learning experience that helped me understand the business world better. I learned about the importance of protecting our ideas, the support system needed for start-ups, and the resources available to entrepreneurs. Most importantly, I learned that success and failure go hand-in-hand, and that we can learn from our mistakes.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to have learned from these experienced speakers, and I look forward to applying these lessons in my own entrepreneurial journey.

dan and phil never foresee us making things worse and it’s funny every time. they thought the ship name phan was cute until we started calling ourselves phannies. they thought terrible influence was a great tour name until we abbreviated it to tit. they thought having phil spell out idgaf in a music video was good idea until it got reversed and spelt out a slur. how long must they spend looking pictures they’re about to post and thinking there’s no possible way we can make it weird, but then someone puts dan’s head on a horse. phannieism is so beautiful

Nepal Achieves Near-Universal Access to Electricity, But Reliability Remains a Challenge
Nepal must adopt distributed renewable energy solutions to enhance grid capabilities. Nepal has achieved near-universal access to electricity. Near universal, though not quite universal. Estimates of how many have access vary by the data source, between 96 and 98 percent. But whatever the estimate, one thing is clear: Well over 95 percent of the country’s population has access to electricity,…

you are a system without trauma
your system did form for any reason
"non-traumagenic" is a thing
"traumaendo" is a thing
people on the internet go fuck yourself if you think that "endo's" aren't a system
you can be a system without trauma

New month, new otter fact:
"Sea otters favour sea urchins as food and can help to control their populations. The introduction or expansion of sea otters into such regions can restore the ecological balance. For this reason, sea otters are also seen as ecosystem engineers."

Tests showed that the new plastic would start to break down within hours when placed in salt water.
And, when put into soil, the sheets of the new plastic degraded in 10 days and supplied a chemical similar to fertiliser, which helps keep soil healthy.

your art is pretty, your thoughts are entertaining, and the dc fanart you reblog is quite pretty and that makes me happy
The best way you can support other artists on this website is by reblogging their art I understand why some artists prefer to just keep their blog their own art but this isn't Instagram and there's ways you can have a art blog that's just your own while also reblogging art you enjoy from others
