Is what Edward approaches with, but it's really just mostly a joke— He greets the other with a jovial hug regardless, only not lingering because it's stinkin' hot.

"You better not hold back just because we're friends! But we can also still hang out! Like beachball or swimming and stuff. They're not putting up walls or anything, y'know?" And if they do, he's gonna sock the guy in charge in the face for it! Whole thing's skeevy enough as is, even if he's resolved to make the best of it.

With that, he gives Alcryst a light clap on the shoulder, beaming from ear to ear. "Anyways, we've got a month, so let's have a lot of fun!"

Alcryst gladly accepts the hug from a familiar friend. But... even if he had no hand in the team placements, the urge to apologize still rises in his throat. "I'm sorry," he says reflexively. "Ah, I know it's not anyone's fault, but still..."

Of course, next to Edward's ever bright and cheery self, Alcryst must look silly acting so pessimistic. "Don't worry," he nods, then a small smile. "I'll give it everything I got. And that goes for you as well! Though, I hope these games don't take too long you know? That way we have time to hang out!"

Alcryst isn't sure about beachball, or anything that means standing out in the sun for too long, but swimming... "I think it'd be cool if we could go to the surf and find some shells to take home. Sort of like when we were in Poliades' basement trying to find our weapons, haha..."
