idk centipedes are such an interesting metaphor for the decay of sydney. like they eat flies (sydney) which he has, on many occasions, compared himself to, and there are other instances where he is much like a fly (caught in elijah's web, caught in jedidiah's jar.)

but also centipedes in his childhood house. all around him, crawling and eating and writhing, that house was suffocating and drowning and killing sydney. in contrast, lucille's house didn't have centipedes. only dead ones.

They were dead. I knew they were dead, and kept only in mockery, rather than as an extension of their existence like many wish to believe. It was a suppression of their idea, not a celebration.

In this situation, is sydney also the centipede? Consumed by itself, for itself, alive and dead at the same time? Kept only because of Lucille's favor of it? Is this not an extension of his existence? Is he gone already, a husk of who he is or who he was?

Also that last sentence, about the suppression of their idea. It makes me wonder about college. Did sydney always want to be a nurse? Did he want to be a doctor, a specialist, only to end up as a camp nurse in a middle-of-nowhere summer camp that he can't even leave?

Sydney's life is a mockery of itself and it makes me sick to think about so now all of you have to too!

So on discord, I was reminded by Tequila Sundown that SEEK humanity will eventually have enough planets to completely circle the Sun as a belt and traverse across each other physically

Assuming all the planets are at the same distance from the Sun as our Earth is, and each planet is at least one lunar distance away from each other….

would you be down to team up with a web developer to make a site similar to framed(dot)wtf where users get to guess the sfx origin and find out if they were right or wrong straight away? (not me I'm too dumb for web development but it might be a cool idea)

Hi there, I appreciate the enthusiam but that's a huge ask for something that I generally do for fun and for free. Running this blog is already a decent amount of work and I have zero desire nor plans to increaes that workload.

If anyone wants me to add more to my workload (or start paying me money to afford domains/for any work i do on here, etc etc), the least they can do is offer to actually help in some tangible way.
