“In 1998, ~Highlander: the Raven~ actress Elizabeth Gracen received a subpoena to testify to congress by Special Prosecutor Kenneth Starr, who was looking into the Paula Jones sexual harassment suit against then-President Bill Clinton. 

This is because Gracen, a former Miss Arkansas, admitted to a one night stand with then governor of Arkansas Bill Clinton in 1983, when both were married. Because Elizabeth Gracen was filming Highlander the Raven in Paris and Canada, she ignored a congressional subpoena from Starr and never testified,” with no apparent consequences.

Felt like a classic sci-fi plot, like a classic Star Trek episode, just a level darker. Clever twist and ending. Got a little slow in the 2nd act. It's low budget but well produced.
