I adore that at the beginning of episode 16, Mace makes sure to correct Nikkie and say he is married to 3 pixies AND KREMY. Also, Nikkie saying "Husband to three people" and Mace raises 4 fingers. As if to say "You will not forget my husband!"

Gideon might be in denial but Mace has already decided they are legit. They are in love and Mace will make sure everyone remembers!

I love the writing on this show. Like as painful as the #influencer voice and aggressive abuse and misuse of aave was to listen to, the character slowly dropping the act as the horrors get worse really hammered home how intentional the use of that language was. It’s not the slang itself that’s bad. It’s the disingenuous and uninformed bastardization of real dialects and slang for internet clout, and how, no, she doesn’t really talk like that. It’s an act for the camera. And the change from annoying to soggy pitiful I-just-want-to-be-noticed is palpable and effective! My thoughts on this ep aren’t 100% fully formed but I do like what they did there. Very intentional.

I really enjoy how clever Gideon is in this episode. He looks like such a himbo but he is such an engineer nerd!

Gricko as well. He was asking so many smart questions to Mr. Witch and Mr. Light.

It is just so cool to see these characters evolve beyond what they may thought to be.
