They can't feel you, touch you, cuddle you, move anything, kill anything, or even breathe. Sure, they can protect you from other ghosts, but it isn't the same as the living. It irks them to know they can't enjoy you to your fullest potential.

If we're going in the comedic route, they're going to be a 24/7 nagging ghost. They constantly whisper into your ear—or shout loudly, or in between—about things that don't really matter.

Like, why the hell are they telling you to avoid your best friend? They can't do anything about it anyway, even if they're choking their ghastly head off.

Just because you're the one who killed them doesn't mean you'll do them any favors.

That brings us to the darker route. Let's say you're guilty about killing them.

They will use that fact against you. In this version, they're still whispering into your ear, but you're actually affected by it. The yan!ghost preys on your fear, insecurity, and guilt.

You're like a pawn on the board. Heart filled with nothing but regret, sorrow, and despair. With the vile need to make up your mistake: their death.

You killed them.

In one way or another, you must make up for your sins.

i say this intending to be respectful, and im not trying to rage bait you, im genuinely interested in what you have to say. but why do you choose to ship wincest in spite of them being related?

i understand sam and dean like each other, and in general, shipping characters together is just based on preference. but do you really not find it icky at all? do you condone incest in real life? do you think that because they're fictional characters, the ethics of the situation don't matter?

First things first. Spoiler Alert for Dragon Quest XI. I just finished this game (though I know I’ve got a ton of post game stuff or so it seems) so the brain rot is real right now.

I need to talk about the penultimate fight against Jasper Unbound. Specifically the fact that I had Hendrik on my team for the entire fight and I don’t think ANY other team member was targeted as much as Hendrik was in that fight and I LOVED IT. Jasper’s resentment and HATRED towards Hendrik was actually a factor in the gameplay and I think that’s such a brilliant detail. I’m sure other games have done this but as far as I remember I don’t think I’ve ever noticed anything like that. I know it’s such a small detail but I really enjoyed it.

It also helped that Hendrik was the one to land the final blow that defeated Jasper and it just so dramatic and really brought me into the moment. I’m sure Hendrik getting the final blow was pure coincidence but I’ve been really wondering whether Jasper targeting Hendrik if you have him in your party was purposely programmed in. I feel like it has to be but I’m honestly scared to Google it cos if it’s deconfirmed I’d be real sad cos the drama and angst that brought to the fight was just fantastic.

Anyway Dragon Quest XI real good. Real good game. I’m completely in love with the characters in this game, they’re all so good. Also sorry if I’ve explained this poorly, I’m not very good at properly explaining and analysing things but I just really appreciated that detail, Intentional or not.
