Elegantly cardboard-y in nose, a decided funk almost smoky, almost earthy, but not quite either. Sweet and rather concentrated on the palate, but showing the sort of restraint one would expect from a DOCG bottle. Not Champagne…

Papercraft Yuna from FFX! This game came out riiiight when Baby Yutaan was starting to figure out the bare bones of how design worked, and I was absolutely floored by the game’s aesthetic, particularly the character and clothing designs; Yuna was my favorite of the whole cast, and she still has one of my top favorite character designs of all time. I’ve wanted to make a papercraft of her for years, but was never satisfied with my sketches. But finally I feel like I’ve managed to do her justice! 🌸

I’ve seen people say that Szeth is deadpan and has no sense of humor. It’s true that he doesn’t do wordplay or make jokes, but I offer these passages from Oathbringer as proof that he does have a hint of dry humor.

From OB chapter 92:

Aren’t you going to search for other criminals?

“I needed only one, sword-nimi , to test what has been told to me and to learn a few important facts.”

Like how smelly convicts are?

“That is indeed part of the secret.”

And OB chapter 98:

“I used a pole to block pouches,” Szeth said. “But I did not attack anyone with it.”

“You attacked me!” said the woman he’d thrown at someone else.

“Physical contact was not forbidden, and I cannot help it if you are unable to control your Lashings when I release you.”

And of course, this exchange from OB chapter 120, which is probably the one passage most people think of when they think “funny” and “Szeth”

Szeth settled down lightly beside her. “I have failed to carry this burden.”

“That’s okay. Your weird face is burden enough for one man.”

“Your words are wise,” he said, nodding.

That passage is funny because who else would respond that way to Lift saying their face is weird? But I think the first two parts I shared are better examples of Szeth’s dry humor. It’s so straight forward, and I imagine him delivering these lines in like the most matter of fact tone of voice. He says things as he sees them, and if that comes across as a bit humorous, that’s the way it is. It’s so unique, and I love it

i made a bigger adult blanket!

really liked these colors but they only came in the large size so i decided to make a blanket a little smaller than the size of my bed

didn’t feel like making granny squares this time, wanted something i wouldn’t have to join afterwards

my dad says it would have made a cool shawl or i could have put a hood on it when i was around halfway done diagonally; he was right but my original goal was blanket so i kept going lol

@crazy-fangirl-probs-rants suggested blocking it (steaming the ends that were curling to flatten them out)

Okami inkvent day two - today I got this beautiful purplish-pinky colour and it felt perfect for Sakuya. Unfortunately my phone camera isn't a big fan and makes it look way too red... I'll probably scan them all once the sheet is full, maybe I'll manage to get the colour right then
