Esprit Follet, Fumin La Crotta di Vegneron 2018 Italia, Valle d'Aosta DOC Valle d'Aosta Fumin (100%) Rosso 13 % L’etichetta si ispira proprio agli spiritelli e folletti di montagna. Tra i vini di spicco dell’azienda, il Fumin viene allevato nei diversi appezzamenti nei comuni: Nus, Fenis, Chambave, Verrayes, Saint-Denis e Chatillon a 450-550 m su terreni sciolti sabbiosi in media pendenza e di origine morenica. Le viti sono allevate a guyot e cordone speronato con densità di 7000 ceppi/ha. Le uve vendemmiato nella terza decade di Ottobre, viene fermentata in acciaioper 20 giorni con frequenti rimontaggi. Affina poi in legni con diverse essenze, sia botti che barrique. La Crotta di Vegneron nasce nel 1980 ed è uno dei produttori più conosciuti della Valle d'Aosta: una cooperativa gestita da 53 famiglie su 25 ettari di terreno da cui producono 200.000 bottiglie all'anno. Qui ci troviamo in alta quota, con vitocolture quasi eroiche e dove le precipitazioni sono inferiori ai 500 mm all'anno ma in estate le temperature giornaliere subiscono forti escursioni tra il giorno e la notte e questo porta alla qualità. L'esposizione è per il 90% a Sud (sinistra orografica della Valle) e per il 10% a Nord (destra orografica della Valle). Vini Prodotti: I vini più importati sono quelli che rientrano ne La Griffe, ovvero Fumin e Nus Malvoisie oltre a quelli delle Selezioni: Esprit Follet (Fumin); Attente (Chambave Muscat); Quatre Vignobles (Chambave Superieur da vitigni tipici); Crème (Syrah); Merveille (Rosè da Syrah) e Prieurè (Chambave Muscat Passito). Esistono poi una Linea Territoriale di 5 vini (Chambave; Nus Malvoisie; Chambave; Cornalin; Nus) e una Varietale di 4 (Muller Thurgau; Pinot Noir in bianco e in rosso e Gamay). Gli Spumanti Quatremillemètres (vini d’altutudine), ovvero Refreain (Charmat da vitigni aromatic); 4478 Nobleffervescence (Pinot Noir Metodo Classico).
