Hellooooo! Halloween is approaching and I was thinking… how about a werewolf (but like can turn whenever) s/o (prefribly like male pronouns or gn) with Jason? Maybe Jason fixing his bf up after he got into a fight and like petting him and comforting him cause the bf though he had scared away Jason with his wolf and aggressivity? Like the scary kinda punk-ish and bad boy one type of boy? (I loved your punk girl x Jason btw! Soo cool!) sorry if it’s so detailed, feel free to refuse ofc!
this is pretty late lol but its 2.5k words so... It's written as gender neutral but the word boyfriend is used twice I think idk. Enjoy!

Violent In-laws--- Jason Grace/ Punk male or gn werewolf! reader

Jason turned over, his mattress on the floor squeaking with protest. He pulled his pillow over his head and felt soft feathers billow out, vaguely registering that he must’ve torn it up in his sleep. He peeked out the window of the stone cabin and realized it was still dark out, meaning his pillow problem was for later.
There was light rain on the roof but that wasn’t what had woken him, so he lay on his back for a moment, listening out for someone or something outside.
Had Piper tried to cut bangs again instead of sleeping and messed them up again?
A scratchy sound, nails on chalkboard, came from the doorway. Jason sat up and felt around near the head of his bed, knocking over an empty cup and finding his glasses under a coffee stained paperback.
His phone torch was as second later and he shuffled out of bed, his purple and gold doona cover twisted around his leg. When he managed to untangle it without face-planting onto the cold ground, he got to the door and opened it a little, peeking out into the soggy night and hoping it wasn’t a monster, because he was far too tired to fight.
“Woof?”
Jason blinked into the empty space in front of him and then looked down at the shaggy figure on the ground. He frowned at you, but with concern, not anger. “You should be in bed, you’ve got cabin checks tomorrow, remember?”
“...Woof.”
“Fine,” Jason relented quickly, and swung the door open. He shut it behind you and turned the little battery powered yellow lamp on by his bed that Leo had made when they found out there were no powerpoints in cabin one. “But we can’t stay up or-”
Then he saw the shining puddles on the ground, paw sized and dark red.
“Hey,” Jason started, his stomach sinking quickly. “Are you okay?”
He watched you sink down on the floor next to his bed and rest your head on your sticky paws with a whine, looking up guilty. “Woof?”
Jason ran to the bathroom and felt around until he grabbed the first aid kit, bringing it back to you with a glass of water as well. “Here, I’ll fix you up, just stay still so you don’t bleed out anymore. What happened? Did someone-”
He cut himself off when your tail went between your legs and sat down on his popped pillow instead, unzipping the red bag and pulling out rolls of bandages and a tube of antibiotic cream. “You can come up here, the ground’s cold. I have to wash the sheets tomorrow anyway, for cabin inspections.”
When you stayed on the ground, looking up with big sad eyes, Jason rolled his own, and patted the spot next to him encouragingly. “Up.”
You hobbled over and then flopped down on the mattress with a little huff of pain. Jason winced at the sound and brought your paws onto his lap, dabbing them with a wad of gauze until there was less blood and he could dip more gauze into the water and clean the last of it off. “What happened?”
“I was just in the woods,” you muttered, sitting next to him with your forehead digging into his shoulder as he wiped your hands clean. “And then there was a pack of wolves. They chased me for a bit and got a few bites in, but I’m a lot bigger.”
“Are you okay?” Jason asked quietly, looking down at the ripped up black and gray striped long sleeve drenched in blood. He picked up some little scissors from teh first aid kit and cut off the sleeves at your shoulders.
There were cuts from your fingers to your elbows. Jason began wrapping one of the bandages around your wrists, making his way up to the last deep scratch as you sighed. “I hid in Bunker 9 for a while until they left. Leo forgot to shut it again. Then I came here.”
“You shouldn’t have been out,” Jason shot back gently, tying off the bandage and putting one of those little clips on it. Then he started on your other arm, making sure to put enough pressure on. “What if it wasn’t wolves, what if it was harpy’s, or hellhounds, or, or what if it was something you couldn’t fight, and-”
He looked down at you, expecting an apology, but you were just staring up at him, dried blood smeared on your cheeks. Somehow you still had those soft dog-like eyes rimmed with eyeliner that made Jason’s chest feel tight and warm. You smiled a little, “but I’m okay.”
“What if next time you’re not?” Jason argued, feeling his eyes prick at your stupidity. Didn’t you realize that just cause you could turn into a big flesh eating canine you could still get hurt, or worse? The woods were literally purposely stocked with monsters, and you acted like it was your playground. “What if something happens and I can’t fix it?”
You ducked your head, and Jason knew that if they still could, your ears would be flat against your head like they did when someone found you chewing on something you shouldn’t be. “Okay. I’m sorry. I didn’t think that-”
“You never think,” Jason muttered grumpily, tying off the last bandage and picking up the smaller one for your hands.
You smirked a little bit, sharp teeth revealed. “That’s why you love me.”
“Shut up,” Jason said. “I’m still angry at you.”
“Okay,” you said, resting your head back on his shoulders and closing your eyes with a little grin. Thank the gods, Jason couldn’t stay angry for very long when you were giving him the puppy eyes that everyone fell for, despite the fact you stomped around in doc martens and a studded belt everyday.
Jason threaded the bandage through your fingers, layering it enough that it cut off the blood dripping down your palms until it was just white and no longer splotched with red. He pinned them into place and then kissed your hands gently, wondering if you’d fallen asleep.
“Are you finished being angry?” you asked, opening one eye and sitting up properly, going to rub your eyes with your hands.
Jason held them in place and squinted at you, chewing on the inside of his lip, a bad habit he’d been trying to break for a while. Then you leant forward a bit more than you needed to for just a conversation, “you shouldn’t do that.”
His resolve left his body once you tilted your head a little and he sighed, a smile creeping across his scarred mouth, “Oh yeah… why?”
“Cause it’s my job,” you said, your words muffled by Jason’s lips.
He bit down a grin and slid his hands around the back of your neck, careful not to yank on your safety pin earrings that were actually just normal safety pins. His eyes closed involuntarily and he sighed again into your mouth when you leant forward, pulling his face closer, bandaged hands on his jaw line.
Jason parted his lips and felt his cheeks warm at the feeling of you so close, smelling like rain and blood and wet animal fur, bitten down nails coated in black polish scratching a little at his cheek bones while you pushed him back into his crumpled bedspread. You rolled over, holding Jason tightly and pressing your mouths together once more until you pulled away a fraction, “so… you’re not angry anymore?”
“Nope,” Jason said, his hands fiddling with the tag of your band shirt. “Still angry.”
“What a shame, I guess I’ll have to give you a while to cool off,” you muttered, and pulled away with bright eyes and puffy lips. You sat up, shaking pillow feathers off yourself and began to stand, “seeya tomorrow, isn’t your sister visiting?”
“Fine,” Jason huffed, grabbing at the edge of your shirt and chopped up long sleeve to pull you back while you stepped over him. “You win, ‘m not angry.”
“Pardon?”
Jason opened his mouth to speak louder and then caught sight of the grin on your face. He glared until you sunk back down onto the mattress opposite him and rested your bandaged hands over his, palms up. Jason brushed his fingertips along yours, “I just get worried, and you don’t seem to care that you get hurt, or that it stresses me out. We’ve had this conversation so many times and you keep getting into fights.”
You stared up at him blankly, then your head drooped. You spoke like you were telling yourself off. “I started them.”
“What?”
“I started the fights…” You began to rub your face again and Jason tightened his grip on your arms, pulling them back down before you broke a scab and started bleeding again. “I was trying to… I…” You looked up, “I have to change everyday, I have to run around and bark and do all that stuff or I start to itch everywhere and it hurts so much. The quickest way to be okay is to just… attack something.”
He wiped a tear from your face and gulped, “why didn’t you tell me?”
“Didn’t want to scare you.”
Jason pulled you forwards into a hug, hoping it was tight enough to push all of the bad feelings from you and make you feel better. “You do scare me, but only when you’re hurt… And when you sneak up behind me and grab my shoulders.”
“...But it’s funny.”
He pressed a finger to your mouth before you veered the conversation somewhere else. “Hey, hey, listen to me. You chase your tail and you chew on your own clothes to make them look more punk and you tried to bite your reflection yesterday, no offense, but you aren’t scary.”
You squinted up at Jason, “should I be offended?”
“Other people are scared of you, but not me. I promise.”
»»————- ★ ————-««
Jason ducked a stray knife boomerang and followed the path past the campfire and the Infirmary, peering up at the lava wall already filled with hunters yeeting stray campers down into the foam mattresses that really didn’t do much.
He was about to go ask one of the less scary girls in silver where Thalia was when he heard her yell across the entire field. “JASON!”
“Thal’s,” he said, a smile on his face as the tall girl ran up, the immortal shimmering around her wavering in the sunlight. “You’re here!”
She ruffled up his spiky hair and then hugged him properly, lifting him off his feet easily, his face squashed into the spikes on her leather jacket. “Little brother, I missed you! And now we get to fight people together! We’re gonna stick around for a few days and I already-”
Thalia pushed him away and then to the side, an arrow loaded in her bow loaded in less than a second, the sharp tip lined up with your snout as you cocked your shaggy head at her, blinking slowly.
Jason sighed, “I told you to give your hands a rest, you’re just gonna pop Will’s stitches!”
“Don’t worry,” Thalia said. She whistled, presumably to call her little white wolves over, and aimed her arrow at your chest while you stuck your pink tongue out at Jason, “I got it.”
“Please don’t… this is my boyfriend.”
Thalia lowered her bow and frowned with concern at him, like she was wondering if he was mentally okay. Considering how this looked, she had every reason too. Jason pushed her weapon out of the way a little and she slid her arrow back into her quiver when he walked up to you, “this is my sister, she won’t kill you.”
When you just blinked up at him and wagged your tail happily, Thalia gave Jason a strong side eye. “Uh, little brother-”
“Stop making me look like a furry,” Jason hissed through gritted teeth, nodding towards Thalia, who looked a second away from calling for help. He smirked, “or I’ll tell Lacey and Harley they can’t play fetch with you anymore.”
You glared at him and folded your arms, which were still wrapped up in fresh bandages that Austin had done up a lot better than Jason ever could. To avoid chafing you had to wear a singlet, but you’d managed to make that look grunge with a black choker and ripped up jeans. You’d even put fingerless skeleton gloves on, but Jason wasn’t sure how safe that was for your injuries. “You’re no fun.”
Thalia made a choking sound, her face pale.
“What?” Jason asked. Then he remembered not everyone was used to you. “Right, this is my boyfriend, he’s a son of Apollo, and Apollo’s the god of wolves or something.”
“Also, the Twilight movie came out the same week he had me,” you piped up with a shrug, silver earrings [of course, not real silver, Leo had found some sort of alternative in the boxes upon boxes in Bunker 9] shining like Thalia’s jacket as she stepped back, her bow slipping out of her shaking hand.
You glanced at Jason, hands in your pockets, and rocked on the balls of your feet nervously. “Y’know I actually had to help Lou Ellen will this thing, I should probably head off-”
“I am so sorry,” Thalia said with wide blue eyes,
It was your turn to back away this time, and Jason stood there, thoroughly confused, until he too spotted the little pack of white wolves racing over to Thalia. Then he connected the dots.
You grabbed onto the sleeve of his teddy bear jacket and he figured your tail would be between your legs if you were to change back.
“Did they-”
“Yup,” you hissed, fiddling with the bandages around your arms and watching as the wolves tracked circles around them and butted playfully against Thalia’s legs. “Yeah, it was these guys.”
Thalia blinked. “To be fair, I thought you were a hellhound. It was dark.”
You spun around and beamed at Jason, “I told you I was scary!”

A comforter (in American English), also known as a doona in Australian English,[1] or a continental quilt (or simply quilt) or duvet in British English,[2][3] is a type of bedding made of two lengths of fabric or covering sewn together and filled with insulative materials for warmth, traditionally down or feathers, wool or cotton batting, silk, or polyester and other down alternative fibers. Like quilts, comforters are generally laid over a top bed sheet (and sometimes also blankets) and used to cover the body during sleep. Duvets are another form of quilt, traditionally filled with feathers, though since the late 20th century often made of synthetic fibres or down alternatives.
wikipedia could help! comforter+duvet are pretty much the same thing, quilt is lighter but similar :)
can someone help me understand the english language terminology for "stuff you sleep under".
like what is the difference between the following words:
towel
blanket
comforter
quilt
duvet
i think i've arranged them in order of increasing floophyness

Okay, so…JoJo villains having a “special” room set up for when they catch and have their way with the darling. Kinda like in some kinda hentai. But I also imagine each one having some kind of unique spin to each, fitting their respective villains. What do you think?
Interior design my passion! Seriously I'm writing bedroom headcannons and nobody can stop me.
For Dio I see a room full of dark mahogany furniture with red and gold fabrics. He probably has a vase of two filled with perfect red roses. Mattress would be very soft and the frame would most definitely a canopy styled draped in silk. The sheets are soft cotton, Egyptian cotton in particular if this is pt3 Dio we're talking about. He probably has his darling confined in there most of the time as they would be far too afraid of his servants.
I see Kars being a stone sort of person and not just because he's a pillarman. Something about marble floors screams opulence. He has a lot of pieces of furniture with gold accents and has some jewels strewn around. Mattress would be hard, he definitely predates the existence of a modern bed and would be used to sleeping on harder surfaces. I think the frame would he rather simple, sure he's a demi god but I think he wouldn't care too much about the bed he shares with darling. Animal fur would definitely be a decorative piece on his bed.
Surprisingly most of his desired living quarters would be rather open with various plants growing.
Kira is a basic guy, he has the necessities. He would probably try to spruce up his place before he acts on any plans. Changing basic flatpack furniture out for something a bit more presentable. He definitely has some antiques laying around as conversation starters. I imagine him having a case of Goldilocks syndrome when it comes to certain things and his mattress is no exception. Not too soft and not too hard. Really basic frame, some IKEA grade frame, he changes sheets often.
For him it's more about functionality and comfort rather then luxury.
Diavolo lives from hotel to hotel with no actual place to call home but if had a darling he'd have no choice but to get a house of his own, far too dangerous having to drag them with him.
A room of his own would be rather meticulous. In a chateau he'd have a lot of richly coloured wallpaper, mostly red and black. He'd love art deco furniture with golden accents and have various paintings on the wall. His tastes in concept have a thin line between opulent and tacky but the way he executes it is perfect. For a mattress he wants it as soft as possible, darling will probably end up sore in the morning just from having their body try to adjust sleeping in it. The frame would obviously be canopy with thick fabrics draped over it like curtains. Absolute sucker for a heavy, duck feather doona with an intricate designed case.
Pucci has a lot of antique furniture, mostly hand me downs. Man will not buy himself anything he doesn't consider a need. Only when he has his darling will he finally buy thing he considers luxuries. If darling wants or he thinks they'll like something he'll get it. Sleeps on a firm mattress but if darling doesn't like it he'll get something softer. Frame is your standard wooden frame. Always has a fresh bouquet of flowers in a vase on darling night stand and definitely has a candle or few around with the scent of angel whisper or mixed berries and spice.
Funny's Room is full of character, he has a lot of his belongings on display. For newspaper clippings to the very rifles he used in the civil war. There's a story behind everything in that room. He has mattress that is a little firm but not uncomfortably. The frame is a wooden one that was hand crafted with lots of intricate details. Sheets are cotton, he'll barely ever sleep with a doona with some cold winter nights being the acception. He has a lot of books crammed into his bookshelf for darling if they ever get bored. Surprisingly doesn't like the idea of having trophies around the house but Being The White House he can't just throw them out

hello angel, how are you? I also have a certain kink for wings, and I was wondering what it would be like to wake up being wrapped in Crowley's wings or what it would be like to be wrapped around his wings in a protective or loving gesture ^^
So, I keep getting distracted with a hc that @trelaney sent in so I’m doing these ones first. Soz babes, its now literally fic legnth. I need to edit them.
After grooming them for the first time, Crowley got more and more comfortable with you being around his exposed wings
Like, they are visible all the bloody time
Read: He wants you to touch them again and again and again.
When you are cooking dinner? A wing would get in the way so you would have to brush past it to get to the oven
In the shower? He’s joining in, with his wings wrapped around you securely
Reading a book with a nice cup of tea? You’re now in his lap with his wings drapped down your sides
But, when the two of you go to bed together? That’s a really special time.
His wings almost cucoon you from the world, keeping you safe from everything outside.
Also
SUPER WARM
Like
You now dont use sheets and you sleep in next to nothing because his wings are literally the same as having a feathered doona plus really really warm arms wrapped around you?
You woke up the first time sharing a bed with Crowley and him using his wings to wrap around you and you literally thought you were going to have a heatstroke
Never again will you use sheets.
Usually, his wings are only around you when the two of you are alone
Usually
You weren’t really involved in the apocodidn’t but you certainly earnt a name as the number one target in Hell to hurt in order to punish Crowley
The only time that you ran into any demon was the only time that Crowley showed just how protective he was of you
Hastur and some other lowly demon had managed to trick you into entering an empty military base in the middle of nowhere in an attempt to find Crowley
Finding out that there were actually two demons who were hell-bent on harming you, you tried to flee only to find out that all the doors had been, well, welded shut.
Needless to say, you were panicking
The only mistake the demons made was live streaming their plans directly to Crowley’s phone
Before they could even attempt anything, Crowley had managed to kick down the door and came storming in, already hissing and shouting threats and insults.
And as he stands next to you, one curls around you protectively, hiding you from view.
The only thing you could see was black feathers as Crowley protects you from the screams coming from the two demons
Apparently, Crowley managed to get more holy water because when he finally moved his wing enough for you to see two puddles of goo on the floor of this base
“We should probably leave before anyone comes to see what happened?”
“Probably. You ok?”
“Been better, but ok now you’re here…..you should probably put your wings away.”
“They are away.”
That’s how the two of you discovered that all that time you thought they were exposed? They weren’t.
As it turns out, you grooming his wings to the point of extreme ecstasy? Made you able to see his wings constantly.
And all those times he thought he was being sneaky at home? Turns out, you knew all the long
Much to his embarrassment

When I went vegetarian, I was too young to really consider other animal cruelty. As the years went on, I didn’t want to disrespect the animals sacrifice by throwing away items that weren’t cruelty free just because I knew better now.
That brings us to now. I have feather pillows & a doona I’ve had for a very long time. One of my pillows has had it, it keep ripping despite many repairs & a new cover, it is done. The problem with buying new polyfill is that I can’t bunch it up & conform it to my head in the same way. I’m so use to this & helps me sleep/protect my neck from postural pain/strains. My pure down pillow is also the only thing I can tolerate when I have a migraine.
Can anyone please recommend a cruelty free pillow that will support my head/neck better than standard polyfill. I tried a ‘down alternative’ & it sucks! Maybe one of these bamboo things? Idk.
Please take into consideration if you can make a suggestion, I’m in Australia, so specific brands may vary.

Why You Need to Bring a Duvet on Your Family’s Camping Trip
#Duvet #Camping #FamilyCamping
When planning a family camping trip, you will want to consider bringing along a duvet. A duvet is a type of comforter that is typically filled with down or feathers. Duvets are often used in Europe and are becoming more popular in the rest of the world. They can be used as an alternative to sleeping bags or blankets. Thinking of duvet vs doona vs quilt for your camping trip? You don’t have to…

Duvet Covers and Duvets
A duvet is a type of bedding which is traditionally a soft flat bag filled with down or feathers or a combination of both used as a blanket. Duvets originated in rural Europe and were traditionally stuffed with duck feathers. Today's duvets are sometimes filled with polyester or wool rather than the traditional "eider" duck down. Still very popular in Europe, duvets have become popular throughout the world in the late twentieth century. Most duvets have removable coverings which can be easily washed and maintained. These covers are made from any material: cotton, wool, polyester or even suede. The term duvet cover has come to encompass any type of cover which goes over a quilt, blanket or comforter.
The popularity of duvets comes from the fact that they not only are very comfortable and warm, they also make it easier to make the bed. Duvets reduce the complexity of making the bed. Duvets can be used as a single cover in place of the normal combinations of sheets, comforters, and quilts popular throughout the world. Beds equipped with duvets are usually covered first with a flat or fitted bed sheet and then afterwards with a covered duvet. Duvets are often referred to as comforters, although a comforter is slightly different. A comforter is traditionally decorative while duvets are used for their warmth. You may also hear of a duvet referred to as a "Doona" cover in some parts of the world.
Duvets add beauty and functionality to the home. Their increasing popularity has inspired bedding manufacturers to offer them as part of their bedding ensembles. A consumer can purchase duvets or duvet covers by themselves, or as part of a coordinated ensemble with matching fitted sheets, pillows, bed skirts and other bedroom accessories. Manufacturers from Thomasville, Croscill and Dakotah all have very elegant duvet covers as part of their bedding offerings.
The next time that you are shopping for bedding, take care to find out the different types of bedding that are out there. These days manufacturers offer such a wide variety of ensembles that it can be difficult to choose the right design for your home. It's also important when shopping for your bedroom to take care to find a retailer who can really help you make the right decision. Many large department stores offer such an extensive inventory of bedding that sorting through them can be daunting. In addition, the sales people at many of these stores are not familiar with the details of each individual product that the company they work for is selling.
Finding a retailer who knows what the difference between a duvet cover and a comforter or a boudoir pillow versus a neckroll pillow will be very helpful, especially to the first time buyer or new home owner. One solution to this problem is to find a retailer on line or in your area who specializes in bedding. The staff at these specialty stores will be much more knowledgeable and interested in helping you decide what the best purchase will be for your needs.

Salt and Pudding
Your chest hurt, your phone was out of power and you felt like death was a better option at this point. At least Tae knew how to make you feel better.
Fluff/established relationship
To be honest, you had no idea what day it was anymore. You had given into to the soft feather downing of your doona, the feel of your fleece pajamas on your boiling skin, the chills that goose bumped your exposed arms making your curl tighter on your side. The cold had hit...at some point. You didn't remember when. But since then you had not left your cocoon of bedding. You phone changer had dropped out of the socket but you didn't have the energy to bend down and fix it so you just let you phone drain itself till it lay lifeless on your bed site table.
Since then you had just slept. Drifting in and out of coughing fits. Your side was acting from laying the same way but you didn't want to move, you didn't want to risk disrupting the little pocket of warmth your body had created. You were sweating. You couldn't smell anything. Your mouth felt like cotton wool. In short, you were a mess.
You only barely registered the sounds of footsteps traveling down your hallway, the creak of your bedroom door as it was pushed open, the soft padding of bare feet against plush carpet as the mattress dipped and a hand was stroking the damp tendrils of your hair from your forehead. You blinked the fuzziness from your eyes, squinting at the shadow outlined in the darkness of your room. You watched as the shadow leaned across and flipped the switch on your bedside lamp, suddenly filling the room in a soft glow that burnt your tired eyes. You whimpered and slide further into the safety of your sheets but not before spotting the amused look on Taehyung's face.
“When was the last time you drank something?”
His hand was back in your hair, or what was poking out once you had retreated from the light like a scared rabbit. You groaned. His voice was too loud.
“Whenever I last called you”
You couldn't see his eyes widen but you could feel him standing up from his spot and slipping back through your bedroom door to mess around in your kitchen. He was so loud. It was so bright. You clamped your pillow over your ears as he returned with several dull thumps on your bedside table. You felt the lamp dim, poking one eye free to see him draping a set of you underwear over the offending light, damping it to a soft yellow glow, just enough to light up the room but not enough burn your retinas out of your sockets. You looked to the bedside table. There was a mug of steaming water that smelled like salt, a bottle of cold water and a bowl of what looked like chocolate pudding. He slid the pillow from your ears, drawing the blanket down enough to help you sit up against his chest. You went to him like a ragdoll, pliant in his hands.
“You called me two days ago”
He handed you the mug of warm salty water. Cupping his hand around the base to support your own shaking hands as you brought it to your lips and swished it around your mouth, gargling for a few seconds before splitting it back into the mug with a grimace.
“Really? I swear my phones only been out of power a few hours”
You could hear the tired sigh that left his lungs as he bent down and fixed your charger, hooking your phone in for you before unscrewing the cap on the water bottle and helping you drink half of it. It dripped down your chin, cooling the heated skin in rivulets. The second the bottle was taken from your lips the coughing started again. Your diaphragm hurt, you throat was raw. You hissed as he rubbed your back, leaning you forward through it.
“You should have been sitting up. You've been letting it all rest on your chest. Here, eat something”
He handed you the bowl. You stared down at it. It looked good and you were hungry. You scoped a small amount onto your spoon, raising it and eating it. That movement alone was enough to drain your energy. You sighed and leaned back on his shoulder, closing your eyes, letting your aching head throb. The pudding was sweet and silky smooth in your mouth, easing your sore throat.
“You really are going to put me to work aren't you?”
You just hummed and nodded as he laughed, taking the bowl from your lap and spooning the pudding for you, tapping your bottom lip with the cold metal to signal you to open up for each mouthful.
You were feeling better, much better. You still wanted to die but it was less like a pounding need and now just a gentle life hack out of the aches and pains of your body. You finished off the pudding. He made you drink the last half of the water. Curling into him you rested a clammy forehead against his warm neck, signing into the dip of his collarbone as your eyelids felt heavy again. You would think you had slept enough for a lifetime but your body had different ideas. Tae started humming something, you couldn't identify the song but it was familiar. The deep rumble rocking your mind into a lulled sleep as one large hand rubbed up and down your back, easing your coughing when it popped up.
You vaguely felt the press of lips to the crown of your skull, the tip of a warm nose nuzzling there for a second, before you finally drifted off. You hoped you would wake up healthy but cradled, safe and warm, in the arms of Taehyung wasn't so bad. Maybe you didn't mind if you were sick for just a few more days.

Fawkes fell silent as he watched Gellert use his magic on Albus. Gellert was not and would never be his master and unlike Albus, he didn't trust him either. He had come to find Gellert out of desperation to rescue Albus and nothing else. It was, after all, Gellerts abandonment of Albus that had led Fawkes to that little cottage in Godric's Hollow in the first place. He had made a nuisance of himself until Albus eventually let him stay. He'd sat by Albus' bedside night after night, watching over him. He had nudged him into the kitchen for water and meals and into the bath too. He had let Albus cry into his feathers, sometimes for hours. About his sister and brother and his parents and most of all, Gellert. He had brought him letter after letter from the pile of correspondence that had only grown over the weeks that Albus had spent drunk or in bed or both. Fawkes has never left Albus' side as the years went on. He'd travelled with him, during his apprenticeship with the alchemist and then when he had returned to Hogwarts. He had healed cuts and burns on Albus' hands when he had been experimenting at creating potions and spells. He would remind him to eat and nudge him into taking breaks. He would hover nearby as Albus read the paper about Gellerts latest escapade and sometimes he would chirp a soft song to cheer him up. He was always pleased when he made Albus smile. It was a rare occurrence to see. There was always a deep lingering sadness about him that he had never quite been able to ease. If Gellert thought he wasn't useful enough.....he bristled slightly, giving his wings a short flap before he settled on the post above Albus' bed. He wasn't going to leave either, determined to watch over Albus as he always did. He would never abandon him the way Gellert had. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Albus groaned so softly as he started to feel the tug of waking, not ready to face the day. His mind felt heavy and his body was aching. He had had some strange lingering dreams. He'd dreamt of Ariana and Aberforth, not that that was unusual. Gellert had been there too, holding him close and whispering soft reassurances to him as he offered him soup. He had peppered kisses on the top of his head and taken his hand in his. Tears welled behind his eyelids. Sometimes, he never wanted to wake from such sweet dreams. He buried his head into his pillow, wondering how long he had before his alarm went off. He paused as he realised this wasn't his pillow. It was far too soft and luxurious for what Hogwarts provided and he opened his eyes with a start, his breath catching as he saw Gellert sitting in the chair beside the bed. Reality came crashing down upon him and he shivered as the memories of the past week came flooding back. He gripped the doona cover, eyes still firmly on Gellert. He had promised him he wouldn't leave his side as he slept - or had that just been a dream? - but there he was. "You stayed." He whispered softly, drinking in the sight of him. Gellert was really here with him. "I mean, good morning. If it's morning." He didn't know what time it was, the room was quite dark with the curtains drawn.
The Price of Loyalty
regretismyconstantcompanion:
Albus listened silently as Gellert spoke in such hushed tones, as if somehow he were worried someone might overhear. Perhaps he didn’t even want Albus himself to hear his softly spoken trains of thought. Albus had known for a long time that his true loyalty had always laid with Gellert, despite what had happened back in Godrics Hollow. He had been hurt and confused by his swift departure that night, even convincing himself over the years that Gellert had never truly loved him. It had been the only explanation he could fathom that would explain how he had been able to leave him and never once look back. But even that hadn’t changed his feelings about him. His anger had faded long ago but his love and adoration for Gellert never had. Even if Gellert had never felt the same way for him, Albus had long ago realised that he would carry and uphold his vows to the grave. He would never betray him, for what they had shared that summer was worth protecting and cherishing, no matter how it had all come crashing down. But listening to Gellert and given the blood pact he was still holding in his hand, he couldn’t help but wonder if it had all just been some terrible misunderstanding. Mistakes made on both their parts that had driven them unnecessarily apart. His heart ached at the lingering unhappiness that had long ago settled within him and the thought of all the lost time they could have shared. He opened his mouth to respond to Gellert, to reassure him, to comfort him and whisper back the mistakes he had made himself but then suddenly Gellert was leaning forward and pressing a soft kiss against his lips. His eyes fluttered closed, shivering at his touch. He wanted to reach up, to stroke Gellerts hair in familiar affection. But his limbs were suddenly so incredibly heavy, as did his eyelids. He felt the barest hint of familiar magic washing over him before sleep claimed him. Fawkes gave a soft call of disapproval, fluttering from his post at the end of the bed and came to rest on the railing at the top of the bed. He gave Gellert a disapproving glare before he leaned down to check on Albus. Once he was satisfied that he was only sleeping, he examined the parts of his body he could see. He noticed the small gash on Albus’ forehead. Blood had dried along the cut, the skin around it looking red and inflamed. He leaned down further, dropping a few tears against the skin. The redness paled, the swollen skin dissipated, the cut closed as the skin knitted together. The dried blood flaked away leaving only the fainted outline that it had ever been there at all. Once that was healed, he leaned down once more and gave a nuzzle into Albus’ hair before chirping softly.
While Gellert wasn’t disquieted by the phoenix’s open disapproval, the firm gaze he fixed him with in return carried an unmistakable warning nonetheless.
“A dependable familiar must not question his master’s decisions,” he stated, for although he would remain considerate of Albus’ fondness of the bird, Gellert had no intention of tolerating the bird’s irritating attitude from the instant it was directed at Gellert himself.
Unlike others, who would have regarded the phoenix with unconcealed amazement as the bird healed the small gash on Albus’ forehead with his tears, Gellert merely sighed heavily and shook his head in disappointment.
“Your tears are wasted on minuscule gashes like that,” he scolded the phoenix, then placed his palm on the center of Albus’ chest and closed his eyes.
Having willed his magic to enter Albus’ bloodstream and intermingle with Albus’ own familiar magic, Gellert meticulously assessed the condition of Albus’ magic, body, and mind and proceeded to heal the significantly severer internal injuries the vermin Albus had been captured by had inflicted on Albus.
“If you want to make yourself useful, save your remaining tears for the potion your master will be drinking at a later point,” Gellert remarked once he had tended to Albus’ injuries, then summoned a book from the bookshelf situated on the other side of the room.
He had reassured Albus that he would remain at his side for as long as Albus desired his company, and there was nothing capable of changing Gellert’s mind about fulfilling the promise he had made.

These materials offer thermal insulation to the user from the outside cold and ensure calm and peaceful sleep. The duvet is covered with an outer cover that can be removed for washing, similar to a pillow cover. It is often referred to as a comforter in some parts of the world. However, a comforter doesn’t have an outer cover and is not as thick as the duvet.

Duvets are easy to maintain and clean which makes them a preferred choice. A duvet is usually white in color, whereas its outer cover comes in a variety of colors and textures. The duvet rests inside the duvet cover, which is sewn shut on three sides and a side is closed with a large zipper or buttons to easy removal of the cover for washing.
