“Who?” Tim wasn’t the only one to startle, seeing as Bruce had practically froze, a downturn to his lips in a silent show of confusion. 

Damian scowled. “Are you deaf Drake? Grandmother is coming to Gotham to, quote, make sure I am being properly cared for.” None of them had known that Ras was with anyone actually. At least Tim was pretty sure that would have been in the files. 

“Oh?” Dick didn’t quite crouch to Damian’s height but it was a near thing. “She-” “He,” Damian corrected, interrupting him. They all exchanged a glance before Dick continued.

(random s5 finale musings) tbh I don't think Marinette chose to keep The Secrets™ from Adrien because Gabriel asked her to. I feel like Marinette keeping secrets like that is so consistent with her character; she hates giving people bad news, she hates rocking the boat, she hates upsetting people, she always chooses to keep any 'controversial' information to herself for as long as she can get away with (examples: bubbler scarf, telling Queen Bee she was benched, confessing to Adrien, warning Chat Noir about Scarabella or Rena Furtive, never told Chat Noir about Chat Blanc, etc) that I just totally believe she would've done it either way. She was even already having nightmares about Adrien hating her for finding out she defeated his father, so I feel like Gabriel's request was moreso giving her a go-ahead than it was a primary deciding factor, yknow?

Celine is the hybrid of a Goddess and a vampire, the very first of her kind. Does it bother her? Not really. As she will only slowly discover her divine powers, she's essentially just a vampire with extra quirks for the most part. It will take centuries for her to get to her full potential.

To put it in mama Stella's words, "Celine is... The best thing that has ever happened to me. I have a feeling she will become a woman to be proud of. She has yet to discover herself and her position in the heavens, but only time will lead her to her answers."

People who don’t understand how archival standards work shut up about AO3 forever challenge.

“All fanworks and fannish works by authors who want to be on the archive and whose work does not break US law” is a set of standards. They may not match your standards for your fanfic archive, but yes— your archival standards can, in fact, be “all of it” if you have money for the server costs. Also most archives dealing with oral histories and texts have rules for creators to remove their work from the archive. None of these complaints make AO3 not an archive.

I’m so tired of people pretending they understand how archival (or any!) collection development works.
