Totally Awesome 80s Legacy Challenge!!!

Here are the rules for my super long legacy challenge. They haven't been tested thoroughly yet so feel free to let me know if anything isn't doable. It's meant to be done in either normal or long lifespan, but if you want to try the short lifespan I won't stop you. You can skip any generations that you can't do due to pack limitations or if you just don't feel like doing that generation. This is meant to be fun, not strict. If you don't like one of the rules feel free to skip it. Another fun thing to do would be to find and watch the movie before each generation so you have a better handle on what I was trying to recreate in that generation. Also if these graphics are unreadable I do have a Word file I can link. Please let me know if you try the challenge and tag me in any posts or videos so I can see how you're doing. (All pics used in the graphics were found on IMDB.com)

Ceres & Atom Birthday

It's not customary in the Beaker household to have children's parties, so even on their test-tube birthday, kiddos are doing their homework.

But Nervous is not going to let it go. He firmly believes that every sim should have their own birthday party with cake! Nervous himself has never had such a birthday party...

The children grew up mentally gifted and self-confident, as excellent schooling and close communication with test subject had a positive effect on their intellectual abilities and self-esteem. Both Ceres and Atom received a new trait Paranoid which is most similar to the Neurotic trait that these sims have in Sims 3.

Toward evening, Loki performed his fatherly duties and solemnly presented the twins with gifts that were totally identical cloning machines. The offsprings should not forget to whom and what they owe their birth! Atom and Ceres are genuinely happy to receive Loki's care and attention, but even the most luxury gifts are powerless against their lingering resentments.

В доме Колби не принято устраивать вечеринки в честь детских праздников, поэтому даже в свой день чудесного-появления-из-пробирки юные Атом и Церера делают уроки.

Но Типус не оставит это просто так. Он твердо убежден в том, что у каждого персонажа должен быть свой собственный день рождения с тортом! У самого Типуса такого праздника никогда не было...

Дети выросли умственно одаренными и уверенными в себе — отличная учеба в школе и тесное общение с подопытным положительно отразились на их интеллектуальных способностях и самооценке. И Церера, и Атом получили новую черту характера «Параноик» — наиболее близкую к ЧХ «Нервный», которая есть у этих персонажей в Sims 3.

Ближе к вечеру Локи выполнил отцовский долг и торжественно вручил подросшим близнецам подарки — абсолютно идентичные устройства для клонирования. Пусть отпрыски не забывают о том, чему и кому они обязаны своим появлением на свет! Атом и Церера искренне рады проявлениям заботы и внимания со стороны Локи, но даже самые роскошные подарки бессильны против застарелых обид.

Am nächsten Morgen, als die Kinder aufwachen, ist Kearon bereits am packen. Es sind nur noch zwei Tage, dann werden die Kinder wieder abgeholt. 🌅

Neugierig schauen Willi und Jamie zu wie Kearon verschiedene Boxen und Kartons auf die Ladefläche des Pickups hieft. "Was machen wir heute?" stellt Jamie dann die Frage. 🤔

Neugierig kommen auch die anderen Kinder näher. Kearon lächelnd: "Wir machen die beiden nächsten Tage etwas besonderes." 😊 Tom: "Wir passen doch gar nicht alle in die Fahrerkabine." 😲 Kearon: "Das stimmt. Deshalb fahren die Jungs auf der Ladefläche mit und Sina und Casey vorne bei mir."

Tom entsetzt: "Wir sollen da hinten raufklettern?" 😦 Jona flüstert leise: "Heiliges Kanonenrohr." 😨 Casey kichert leise. 😄

Willi und Jamie sind die ersten die auf die Ladefläche klettern. "Das wird ein Spaß." Lachen sie beide zusammen. 😃 Etwas langsamer und besorgter klettern Tom und Jona hinterher.

Die beiden Mädels kichern ausgelassen beim Einsteigen in die Fahrerkabine. 😄

Kearon: "Jungs haltet euch gut fest und bleibt vorallen sitzen."

Dann fährt er vorsichtig und langsam mit der "kostbaren Fracht" über die Insel. 🛻

Thank you, seriously. For nearly 3 years I have poured my heart and soul into developing a full-fledged story for my favorite sim ever (Megyn), and I'm so glad I did. It's been so fun sharing my creation with you all 💖 I really hope you enjoyed it and that you learned something, or at least had something to take away from it.

I want to acknowledge that while the sims and the plot are mine, this story wouldn't have been able to be made if it weren't for the talent of the CC creators who created the clothes, hair, and the hundreds of poses I used to help this story come to life.

Later today, I will be posting a teaser on what's to come. I'm sooo excited to move on to my next project for a little while! But as for The Runaway itself, I do plan on posting more content of my sims/characters! I've been wanting to post little slice-of-life one-shots that the epilogue didn't show (for example, a baby play-date with Megyn and Jayden's daughter Faith and Eva's son Jasper!). So, rest assured, while the main story has ended, creating content for The Runaway universe hasn't! I just need a break from it for a little while and focus on other things I like ^^

Pose Pack #27: Lazy Day Cuddles

This was supposed to be out for Valentine's Day 2025, but as always I lose track of time and here we are in May. This pack comes with 4 sets of couple poses. They are mix and match within their group (sets B & C are compatible for mix and match together. TBH I should have combined them since they are both variations of the same pose.) The first set is based off of a memory of mine I had with my first love. The rest are based off of images I found online. I added an eyes closed version to most of them.

Эрвин всё так же страдает от голосов в голове и бреда преследования, а мистер Кахилл — в прямом и переносном смысле крепко-накрепко застрял в своей катастрофе. В некотором роде я, как и он, всегда ношу свою катастрофу с собой. Как бы мне не хотелось иного, я не могу до конца забыть об этом. Забыть о ĤĘЙ.

Иногда я будто бы слышу тихие, слабые отголоски ĘĚ чарующих песен. В чрезмерной задумчивости, в промежутках между сном и явью... Моя ŌΔĘpЖЍΜŌČŦþ оставила после себя шрамы, и время от времени они ноют и болят.

Нет-нет-нет, я не сумасшедшая и совершенно точно — не ŌΔĘpЖЍΜĀЯ! Но эта нездоровая обстановка... Замкнутое пространство, пессимистичные рассуждения мистера Кахилла и постоянно маячащий перед глазами дурачок Эрвин — всё это словно бы возвращает меня в те дни, когда я была ΔpЎГŌЙ. Когда ΜĀŦþ владела мной целиком и полностью. Может быть, если я буду вести эти записи, мне станет хотя бы немного легче? How long before I go insane, 24/7 being surrounded by lunatics? Erwin still suffers from voices in his head and persecution complex, and Mr. Cahill is literally and metaphorically firmly stuck in his catastrophe. In a way, I, like him, always carry my catastrophe with me. As much as I'd like it to be otherwise, I can't completely forget it. Forget about Ħ€Ř.

Sometimes it is as if I hear faint echoes of Ħ€Ř enchanting songs. In excessive reverie, in the intervals between dream and reality... My ƤØŞŞ€ŞŞƗØŇ has left scars on me, and occasionally they ache and hurt.

No, no, no, I'm not insane and definitely not ƤØŞŞ€ŞŞ€Đ! But this unhealthy atmosphere… The confined space, Mr. Cahill's pessimistic reasoning, and dorky Erwin constantly looming in front of my eyes — it all takes me back to the days when I was ĐƗ₣₣€Ř€ŇŦ. When ΜØŦĦ€Ř owned me entirely. Maybe if I keep these notes, I'll feel a little better? Maybe I could finally extricate myself from ŦĦƗŞ and stop flashing back to the crater time after time?
